(Link to the tweet and yes, Michael "CoolRadius" McCarthy is a narrative writer for Kayn)
I mean. Thats a good analogy for them, and I know this is an old conversation so things could have changed, but to me it just feels weird to say that they could only ever be enemies who hate and want to kill each other, especially when Varus and Naafiri have shown that Darkin are capable of changing and growing as people and we know Kayn deep down is incredibly lonely and fragile. Not to mention their gameplay is about multiple possibilities, the way you play decides if Kayn or Rhaast wins, so to not acknowledge that there could be even more possibilities feels like missed potential, no matter if it's as far as full Rhaayn romance, friendship, or even just an amicable separation.
Well at least this is exactly what fanfiction is for, seeing the potential for something canon will never do and writing it yourself!
#it's not like riot has to make those endings canon either#multiple endings for stories where only one is accepted as canon isnt uncommon especially in games#and lor is all about what ifs#and this doesn't apply to like odyssey or HS since skinlines seem to be able to change a lot#as long as they keep the bare essentials of a champion#league of legends#lol#leagueoflegends#riot games#shieda kayn#kayn#rhaast#rhaayn#riot coolradius#me when i act like i know riot's champions better than them

It was nice, to talk about the future, as if were secure between them. They didn't have this back in the day, shiny and new and optimistic, their respective careers being the utmost important thing to them, something that was understood between the pair. Work first, everything else later. He wondered, as he had done on many sleepless nights, body adjusting to the Nevada heat, what the outcome be if he'd ask to join her in Vegas. If she had said yes. He hadn't had the luxury of thinking about the future then, and thinking of what-ifs seemed like a waste of time, but he'd allow himself that now. Now that they had coincidentally ended up in the same town, both settled down with no plans to uproot and go. "You have to work and I get a luxury vacation? Sign me up." His cadence was teasing, but she hoped she sensed his sincerity. "I was twenty years old, broke in New York, Lor, you're gonna have to let the impression of me being messy nowadays go." Was all Albie said to her joke about tidying, fully knowing messy was being kind to the states he lived in, and what he used to allow her to see.
"Oh I'm not sorry for it one bit." Lorelai teased as she felt his should bump into hers. In response she just looked over at him with another smile to make it clear even though he shouldn't be saying something that would be so very right to hear from him that she was more than okay with it when he did no matter what. Rather than nudging him in return she simply let her shoulder lean into his, giving him some pressure of her body against the side of his as they walked. There was a silence between her sharing the idea of him traveling with her and him answering that she wondered what exactly that meant, which was ridiculous that she was dissecting this very small moment. But when it seemed like it did seem interesting to him. "I suppose the next time I know I'll going somewhere for work I'll know to count on a travel companion." She almost leaned her whole body against his when seeing that grin of his. But the logistics had to be talked about now and she was trying her best to focus on that. "Lovely, did you also drive here? I could just follow you there. Ah quickly yes, so you can also give your spot a little tidy up while I'm waiting outside." Lorelai teased figuring he kept his place relatively clean not that she felt like he needed to do anything for her to enjoy his space because he was simply occupying it and that seemed to be enough to her. Even the thought of thing that felt so disgustingly sappy she could not believe she was the one to think it. As they got into line, she moved to start grabbing the things that she had put into the cart.

It has been an uneventful Mother’s Day.
Popstar is still reeling from the not-so-recent-anymore disaster, and many are still in a state of quiet unease even after Kirby and the others returned safely. Not a lot of people know the extent of what happened on the other side, in that other world; she and Magolor are no different. Some folks have asked the mage about her; evidently the resemblance between her portals and the much larger ones that appeared just a few months ago did not go unnoticed. She finds it worrisome, admittedly, how quickly lines were drawn. Or maybe it’s more about the fact that so many lines were able to be drawn so easily.
Does what happened have some connection to her, or the ones who designed her so long ago? Are others afraid of the answer, or afraid of her? Should she be concerned as well— that some chaotic sort of power is contained within her, put there in a time when it was not understood? Would acting on that fear be warranted? These questions have been on her mind ever since those rifts appeared in the sky, so destructive and unpredictable. And yet here she is, someone who travels long distances with microcosms of the same thing. So much to ask, so little that can be answered.
The brief reprieve has been unexpectedly welcome. A chance to take a break from all of these unknowns and what-ifs, a reason to focus on what is known and so often taken for granted. She doesn’t mind not getting a gift this year; at the end of the day, material items don’t matter. Lor is just glad she’s been able to spend the day with someone who appreciates her, and cares enough to call her his mom. Though it goes mostly unsaid, this sense of family is something both consider a more priceless treasure than any gem or precious metal.
Or figurine collection, despite Magolor’s newfound determination to collect all of them. Stinky little gatcha gamer.

how long does it take for Lorelei and Gray to meet? And how did he react when Ethan told him about the new assistant situation? :)
Grayson’s Phone rang out on the living room table as he helped Lisa move her vanity around upstairs, missing the facetime call Ethan was begging he’d answer. “Shit” was all he said when the called died out. No answer. Ethan placed his phone back into his back pocket-- trying to figure out how exactly he was gonna word this to stop his brother from going off the deep end at him. His phone pinging not too long after, not Grayson, but Lorelei.
Lorelei Figgs: You never mentioned a time for tomorrow so is it okay if I come over around 9? I can come anytime! Just seemed like a good time.”
Ethan Dolan: fuck sorry, yeah come round at 9. Trying to call Gray now and tell him what’s up.
Lorelei sat in her bed up against her headboard. Her pillows shoved down behind her back, oxygen being blown into her lungs generously as she typed away on her laptop. The one Ethan had given her. Setting up her google docs and organising personal information she sometimes forgot. If Lorelei wasn’t a highly functioning over analyser, she never would’ve seconds guessed Ethans tone. She always did that, tried to read her text as if someone was speaking to her in person.
Lorelei Figgs: Does he not know?
Ethan Dolan: Not exactly, but we’re good. Trust the process Lore. ill see you tomorrow.
Ethan had always been a firm believer in manifesting possibilities, goals and overall events you wanted to see play out in life. But unfortunately, he hadn’t even had a chance to think about manifesting the idea Grayson would loose his absolute shit when the time came for the boot to drop. It was time: his phone was ringing. Facetime call from Gray.
“Yo bro, I was helping ma with her vanity what’s up?” Grayson looked rough. His facial hair had grown rugged. Not kept. The blue flannel was probably a mere three seconds away from falling off his back-- having not changed properly in days. Sure, he showered and changed his underwear-- but that was about the extent of it. His hair was greasy, slicked. Ethan could clearly see the shin.
“Don’t get pissed.”
“What did you go? Ethan--”
“Nothing! Nothing just-- well, I hired that girl, the friend of Adele’s? She starts tomorrow and--”
“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME ETHAN!!” Grayson screamed with a groan so guttural it made Ethan kinda flinch. “We’re a fucking TEAM!”
“Well, okay look it was cute and needed when you left but it’s kinda hard to make team decisions when you’re not fucking here bro, ever think of that?” Ethan retaliated with a sigh. “Just meet her bro.”
“Why the fuck would you do that without me bro, Jesus, that’s it, I’m coming home.” Ethan tried to hide his smile. Deep down he’d missed Grayson although he’d try twist reality to suit the ideology that it was Grayson who missed him.
“I’ll book you a flight. When for?”
“We have a fucking assistant for that shit Ethan get what’s her name to do it!! The next one out, text me later I’m gonna pack my fucking bags.” when Grayson hung up Ethan could tell he was in fact-- Pissed. But as his smile grew with the idea of his brother coming home he knew the anger would fade. All he had to do was meet Lorelei.
Grayson kept his rage built up within him the entire trip home, including in the car ride back from LAX to home. Ethan coped an ear full the entire ride home, good thing he didn’t have to drive-- forever thankful for the technology of autopilot. He swore with the way Grayson was bitching in his ear about being left out of important decisions like hiring a new assistant, Ethan would’ve driven straight into a wall if he had control.
“Is she at ours?” Grayson hissed.
“With Mando yeah, she’s working, Mando was going through the DT productions laptop with her, Sharing the docs with her email-- you know shit I should be doing but I had to come pick your bitch ass up.”
“Wouldn’t be back if you hadn’t hired a new assistant without me--” Grayson grumbled.
“Good well, she’s already doing a great fucking job isn’t she because she got nature-loving tree kissing wild boy back to L.A.” Grayson glared-- furious.
“She’s fired the moment I walk in the door bro-- you don’t get to make these decisions without me!!”
“Grayson you cant fire her I fucking hired her yesterday! We need an assistant.”
“Yeah well we’ll figure it out together but this ones on you-- fire her, refire someone else together! Because this is always- always something we do together Ethan, no ifs or buts and the idea you just couldn’t pick up the fucking phone and ask me beforehand is infuriating!!” it was one of the top ten heated arguments Ethan and Grayson had ever had in the Tesla. Not the car-- just the Tesla. Different top tens.
“I didn’t want to bother you, bro! Fuck! I needed you here but you needed jersey a little more and I didn’t wanna bother you with work. We were on a break, relaxing.”
“Well look what good that did! I’m here! I’m back! I’m the bad guy because I gotta fix your mess--!”
“WHAT MESS!”
“WHATEVER HER NAME IS!”
Ethan didn’t respond. deciding to give up and give in. his head hurt from the shouting. He had a feeling, deep down, that Grayson would calm down. He always calmed down-- he was angry, hurt even, that Ethan had left him out of such an important decision, but he’d get over it. And he did. Very quickly. The second he saw Lorelei.
Ethan delta quick change in atmospheric pressure as she walked in behind Grayson-- now standing still at the door. Swallowing thick as he stared. He hated that he was this way around girls he thought were pretty. But he couldn’t help it.
“Lori, Grayson, Gray? This is Lori--”
“Grayson, its actually so good to meet you! I was pretty bumbed out when Ethan said you were still in Jersey when i came over for my interview thingo-- but hey.” She stood, lifting her arm and extending her hand to shake his. Grayson mimicked her actions.
“Lori, its uh, yeah no its good to meet you too, thanks for uh-- coming on board so quick, we can get a little stressed out when someone isn’t here to deal with, with like meetings and schedules and shit like that.” Ethan couldn’t help but chuckle under his breath as he watched Grayson stagger over his words. Night and day from the man who sat brooding in his passanger seat.
“Well like i was saying to Ethan yesterday i might not have too much experience but im pretty stoked with the opportunity.” it washer eyes that had him right from the get go. Eyes that swirled in different shades or brown-- melting together to create a perfect deep brown that made them seem doe like. Beautiful.
“Experience can only be taught, everyone’s gotta stare somewhere right.” Grayson smiled. Lorelei chuckled. Mando side eyed Ethan and Ethan almost wheezed.
“Alright alright, Gray go shower and fucking shave, Lor imma show you how to set up in the podcast room works.”
“Cool, i’m keen, ill move my stuff down there then, brought a note book to write stuff down.” she pressed her lips together nervously Grayson watched as her hand patted the hard cover diary that she held before watching her pick up her coffee cup. Mando had already beaten both Ethan and Grayson to showing Lori how the coffee machine worked. Knowing that when everyone was working? Sometimes no one had a chance to even make it. Grayson stood still and sighed, knowing the roast was coming.
“Dude--”
“Don’t even start E--”
“I’m sweating, your so awkward bro, what the fuck was that!” Ethan laughed as he covered his mouth. His cheeks red. “Bro--”
“She, her eyes got me shut up, i couldn’t think”
“So she isn’t fired? Just so we’re clear on this decision together? Not fired?” Mando furrowed his brows, wondering what type of question that was as Grayson trudged down the hall with his bag. Groaning:
“This cannot be happening”

prompt 48 or 49 for platonic good omens x reader? your writing's always amazing!! 💜 -🌵
Awh thank you hun! I can do both for ya! ^^
48) “Why are you crying?”
49) “Who hurt you?”
.......
“And then I pretended I was breathin’ fire! I scared those blokes straight out of their minds!”
You and Crowley shared a good chuckle as you both sat in the Bentley, waiting for Aziraphale to show up at his bookshop. He was telling you about the experiences they had after they did a body swap to avoid execution for having a part in preventing Armageddon.
You never understood why the angels and demons would be so angry about not having a war that would mean humanity’s extinction. Besides...it only made you wonder what would happen after that..
But before you could ask Crowley about the “what ifs”, you both spotted a familiar white-haired angel rush past the Bentley, going up the steps to his bookshop.
“Angel!”
“Azira!”
The two of you quickly got out of the car, although Aziraphale didn’t even glance at either of you before he entered his shop and slammed the doors shut.
“Um..” You looked at Crowley with immense confusion, and he returned the gaze. Even with his sunglasses on you could tell he was concerned as well.
No words had to be spoken for you to realize Aziraphale was upset about something. So you both went into the bookshop, the demon snapping his fingers to force the locked doors open.
“Aziraphale?” You ventured to the back, only to find the angel curled up on the couch, his wings hiding himself from view. But when you heard soft sobs coming from his form, you and Crowley didn’t waste any time and rushed over to him.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” You asked softly, kneeling down and gently grasping one of his wings, lightly pushing it aside to see his tearstreaked face. For such a gentle and optimistic man, it was absolutely devastating to see him so broken up. “Why are you crying?”
“..I-I..I’m sorry,” he mumbled, trying to force a smile. “Just had a-an off-day..that’s all.”
“You ain’t fooling anyone for a second, Angel.” Crowley huffed as he rubbed his arm. “Who hurt you? Tell us and I’ll gladly-”
“I just ran into Gabriel again, a-and..” Aziraphale teared up once more, although he still kept his shaky smile. “Well, let’s just say..he uh..officially “hates my guts” and said some not-so-nice-things about you two..”
You could see Crowley practically seething with rage, so you patted his arm to snap him out of it. He looked to you, and when he saw you shake your head, he sighed, calming down a little before he glanced back at Aziraphale.
“Well, don’t let him get to you, alright? He’s got no power over you anymore. Just like Lor--Beelzebub doesn’t have any over me. He can say whatever he wants, but just..don’t worry about him. We can dish even worse insults to him if you’d like.”
“Yeah.” You agreed, smiling as you helped the angel sit up on the couch, before you sat beside him and hugged him. “If he ever tries that shit again, we’ll be there for you, okay? Maybe then he won’t feel so “high and mighty”.”
He nodded and relaxed in your embrace, wrapping his wing around you, while he did the same to Crowley. He sat down shortly after you did and stiffened up at the affectionate gesture, although he awkwardly leaned on the angel to express his support.
“Maybe so, but..thank you two for being here.” Aziraphale’s smile returned as he rubbed his eyes.
Already he was feeling so much better.

Cochrane Review Series
Question: Are ovarian stimulation protocols combining oral medications like Clomiphene citrate or Letrozole with gonadotropins effective and safe compared to gonadotropins alone in women undergoing In-vitro fertilization (IVF)?
Focus: Regimens using oral ovulogens and gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone for women undergoing IVF.
Population Of Interest: Unselected IVF population of subfertile women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation for IVF and ‘poor’ responders.
Intervention Under Investigation: Clomiphene citrate (CC) or Letrozole (Ltz) with gonadotropins for controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH).
What Was The Comparison? : Gonadotropins alone for COH
What Were The Main Outcomes?: Live birth rate (LBR), ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) rate and cycle cancellation rate.
Results In Short:
Twenty-two trials including 3599 women undergoing IVF.
Live birth rate: No difference in live birth rate following ovarian stimulation with CC or Ltz with gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone (Risk Ratio (RR) 0.92, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.66 to 1.27; 4 RCTs, 493 women, low-quality evidence) in the general IVF population1. No difference in live birth rate following ovarian stimulation with CC or Ltz and gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone (RR 1.16, 95% CI 0.49 to 2.79, 2 RCTs, 357 women, low-quality evidence) among poor responders.
OHSS rate: Significantly lower incidence of OHSS following stimulation protocols using CC or Ltz with gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone (Peto OR 0.21, 95% CI 0.11 to 0.41, 5 RCTs, 1067 women, low-quality evidence) in the general IVF population.
Cycle cancellation rate: Significantly higher cycle cancellation rate with CC or Ltz and gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone (RR 1.87, 95% CI 1.43 to 2.45, 9 RCTs, 1784 women, low-quality evidence) in the general IVF population.
Number of gonadotropin ampoules and number of oocytes retrieved: Decrease in number of gonadotropin ampoules used and mean number of oocytes collected when CC or Ltz with gonadotropins was used compared with gonadotropin-only regimens (moderate quality evidence) in the general IVF population and poor responders.
Limitation
Only six among 22 included studiesreported live birth rates as primary outcome, necessitating cautious interpretation of overall results.
Studies included only fresh stimulated IVF cycles. None of the trials addressed surplus frozen embryos available for subsequent transfer; thereby data for cumulative live birth was not available. Currently, cumulative live birth rate is a more preferred outcome to evaluate effectiveness of IVF treatment.
Studies that assessed poor responders used varied criteria for inclusion thereby introducing clinical heterogeneity.
Lack of blinding in most included trials, poor reporting of methodology, differences in protocol and cycle cancellation policy impacted the overall quality of evidence.
Evidence Based Practice Points
Current weight of evidence suggests comparable live birth rates between CC or Ltz and gonadotropins versus gonadotropins alone,in both the routine IVF population and among poor responders. It is a viable alternative protocol in certain clinical scenarios like poor responders.
Addition of CC or Ltz reduces gonadotrophin requirement and incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Reduced gonadotrophin requirement could reduce initial treatment cost.
Higher cancellation rates and lower oocyte yield following use of CC or Ltz with gonadotrophin is a drawback. Cancellation of cycles can be psychologically distressing for the couples.
There has been a shift of contemporary practice towards maximizing oocyte yield in single retrieval cycle and “freeze all policy” due to higher cumulative live birth rate2. In light of these developments, studies evaluating cumulative live birth following milder stimulation protocols using CC or Ltz with gonadotrophins are needed along with cost effectiveness in order to establish their role in current IVF practice.

WELP this was intense (in a good way!) and i did love hearing all of your opinions @proudnerd7
i don’t know anymore if people care whether I reply or not but it’s my post so I’ll just do it lol
first thing first, I partly agree with Chris and Lorelai finally putting an end to whatever they had going on for years because it was always a reason to have doubts and bring up old what ifs so, yes, i am glad we go to see them having a closure. although, i wish it would have happened earlier in the show, under different circumstances, not thrown in like that.
Team Dave all the way -this is what I’ll stick to ;)
Lorelai doing Wild kind of baffled me tbh. I think they could have found more in-character ways of showing her dealing with that crisis but i also guess it was supposed to show us that she was so completely lost that she picked the most challenging and oof option?
and gosh. Dean’s marriage, the affair, Rory having her first time with him -like, NOPE. Dean x Rory should have not come back. I’m sorry to all of Dean shippers but this is where i stand. and the affair with Logan was so uncalled for; i wish we could have seen Rory with a brand new partner tbh, someone not from her past nor Stars Hollow that could have sort of represented her personal growth, also. AND NO, NOT PAUL. I would have happily accepted Paris, though ;)
I will never say this enough but the dumbest and lowest point in Luke’s plotline was keeping April a secret and then apart from Lorelai. It was a poor choice from the authors which I’ll always be bitter about.
speaking of AYITL, well, that was a mess. it’s no secret I’m not a fan so yeah but like -ugh.
Rory should have been written better. Losing her drive, not having goals.. we left this excited, strong, confident woman about to take on the world with teeth and nails and we get back a shell of that girl.
Luke and Lor’s relationship was kinda meh. Honestly, i just want the banter and jokes and finally simply watch them be the old happily married couple they were meant to be. I adore the scene in which Lorelai explain why they cannot ever watch a tv show together, for example. I do not need more drama, writers! Gimme all the sappy fluff, please and thank you.
PAUL WHO?
oh, i also share your sentiment on Rory picking Yale over Harvard. It just- it should have been Harvard.
now people are probably wondering what am i even doing here as I apparently have so many opinions lol as you said, though, it is a wonderful, entertaining, comforting show that i just fell in love with and only grow fond of the more i watch it.
so, come talk to me about Gilmore Girls
anything you wish had or hadn’t happened? any character or development that should have had more screen time? general thoughts or opinions are welcomed too.
i always enjoy exchanging points of view and ideas with my followers (asks or dms only, please) and lovers of the show.

Hello Lor! I'm curious to hear about how well you get along with Magolor. Are the two of you in good accords? Is there some negativity mixed in? Are there any intolerable traits between you and him?
“>I’d say we get along pretty well! Stuff was a bit shaky at first, but that was mostly because one day I was just minding my own business and suddenly this egg manifested in a heap on the floor and that’s how we first met. There was a lot of confusion for the first several months, mostly because he knew things about me despite us being strangers from my perspective, but what he knew didn’t really account for me being my own person. And I, uh… Also had some character development to do at that point.”
She then failed to elaborate. In all fairness, what she used to be like is not something she is particularly proud of. Let the past stay in the past now that it’s not relevant anymore.
“>I think we mostly started on the path to where we are currently… Around two years after we met, when life had settled down. In a fit of sleep deprivation he accidentally slipped up and called me mom, which. I don’t know how I would describe it other than just… making me feel like I could have a real purpose again in looking after him? As cheesy as it may sound. It reframed my view of things from “living with and helping out a stranger who showed up out of nowhere and didn’t leave” to the found family situation it is now. I can’t speak for him, but I imagine he probably feels better about things too; I haven’t pressed for details about his personal life, but I know from things he’s said that he left a loving family behind when he took off with me. I’m just hoping I can at least fill some of that void.”
Lord Farqaad pointing memes. The boat has fallen in love with the idea of being a loving family to Magolor because she knows what it’s like to feel like an outcast surrounded by people who don’t like her due to poor choices that seemingly nobody would let go at all! The boat has fallen in love with the idea of finding solidarity with someone else who was also navigating an unexpected brand new life that is so different from how things once were! Found family can be something that is so important.
“>There’s of course some negativity sometimes, but that’s just normal for relationships. Not everyone gets along all the time, as great as that would be. I think the worst of it was a few years ago, when I found out about all the important information he hadn’t told me. Specifically, why he excavated me and the events that took place after he crashed me here in Cookie Country. Up until then all I had known was that he made some bad choices, there were traumatic consequences, and people really didn’t like him. To put it lightly, after that conversation I was… considerably angry about how much he had kept from me.”
Her tone of voice doesn’t really hide the fact that, evidently, the subject still stings. Maybe it was just the sense of not being trusted enough for him to say something to her? Or the thought that he might have never said anything had someone else not brought it up in front of her. Regardless of the what-ifs, it’s an experience the Starcutter doesn’t remember fondly and something she’s glad has been sorted out.
“>However, I’m not the sort to hold grudges, and while it did take a bit, I’ve since forgiven him. Dwelling on being wronged after it’s been righted as much as it can be just seems unnecessary; in most cases there’s a point in the healing process where you just have to accept that something happened, deal with the emotions, and move on. Granted, I am biased, because if he hadn’t done what he did, I would still be sitting in a volcanic cavern collecting dust back on Halcandra’s original island. I also wasn’t one of the ones he personally wronged beyond lying by omission, so I have an overall very different perspective.”
The ship pauses… That sure deviated from the original question, huh? Tangents can be very easy to follow when you have so many words in your you.
“>… Uh, to get back on topic. I’m not sure if there’s anything I would call intolerable? He has a habit of lying that’s pretty annoying, but at the very least I know it happens less when I’m around. Elsewhere, though, I’m not sure. After all I’m a boat mom, not a helicopter parent. I hope he’s more honest but at the end of the day that’s his choice, and his consequences to deal with if he chooses poorly. On the other end of things, I think you’d have to ask him– he’s the sort to just sit and be annoyed instead of letting me know when I’m getting on his nerves. Which I guess is another thing, communication can be difficult sometimes. But it’s nothing we can’t handle together.”
