"oh the family dinner went well" (not even 8 hours later my mom and grandma get in a blowup fight about me not getting inviting and my mom not pushing for me to go to this bridal shower)
#like i literally dont care???? me and the cousin getting married didnt grow up close together like we are literally just the same age#i just feel terrible that they fought at her shower like based on the handful of convos i had with her she really doesnt deserve that#and like it was a limited person party cause like the dinner seats were like $300 per person like dont get me wrong they got money#but im not going to forcibly impose myself in this lmao#and like im realistic like if i get married i highly doubt id invite this family not out of spite but because i want a small one#and like i do have a giant ass family on this side like you gotta make cuts somewhere ya know#and like realistically i dont think i would be able to afford to host a full wedding with that whole family thats how big that shit is#like my maternal side they can throw these parties cause they got the money to do it at the end of the day not the case for my household
