#nosferatu#the lighting was gorgeous too#absolutely stunning#I could see breath ghosting in the air and cigarette smoke#even one guy’s spit as he spoke at one point#and let me tell you that kinda lighting is HELLA hard to archieve#if I remember right you have to light from above#without letting on to the audience you characters are lit from above#IT’S IMPRESSIVE OKAY#but oh the sound design#THE DETAIL#hearing the hounds barking and rats chittering#the wind howling#the dozens of instruments they must have used to give chills#the CRESCENDO of choir#I am frothing at the bit#I am feral for this piece of art#I haven’t been this inspired since I watched the Batman#WHY DONT THEY MAKE MOVIES LIKE THIS ANYMORE???#filmmaking
