honestly love how Spock would just silently mouth whatever illogical bullshit Kirk would say
“missionary”, “astronomical”
wonder if there’s more
#he's so done with him#this is one of those rarer mainly spock and kirk episodes where i don't find their interactions boring#the main reason is that they're on a different sides of the problem#but that's what they need. when spock just silently follows it's like is that even spock?#but overall this is a good mc/s episode :D#100% serious#(as a note i don't find kirk and spock's interactions boring when mccoy is present. or when there's trouble on the ship#it's just in episodes where they're removed from mccoy and from the enterprise#and kirk usually just steals the spotlight and spock is just there because... reasons#i think people tend to misunderstand this about me. just because i don't ship them doesn't mean i don't enjoy many of their moments. i just#find some boring. the same way i find some spock and mccoy's scenes badly written. i just tend to not talk about those scenes much lol)#maybe not badly written but... not following established patterns... and being over-exaggerated#tos nonsense#astronomical is from a piece of the action ofc#and i do in fact find their interaction in that episode boring on a deeper level… like it’s funny but not compelling enough
