Its Not even just in his appearance, just in general. Thistle's entire story is EXPLICITLY a poc experience. It's obvious yeah i know, but i dont think (white sorry not sorry) people understand how essential his poc identity is to his existence as a character.

Like. His anger and rage are because he's brown. His mindset and worldview are because he is brown. His dynamic with delgal is because he IS BROWNN. Everything. His place in the world is because he is brown. Its not because hes an elf or that he lives long or thay hes nd or whatever the FUCK. But because he is BROWN. IM SO SERIOUS.

This isn't even like. A dungeon meshi fantasy racism thing. He may be an elf who's born in the northern island, sure, but im gonna be so honest that it doesn't even matter lol. his discrimination being due to his elf heratige is to prevent the narrative from spewing actual real-world racist rhetoric.
