legal line. word count 1.3k. warnings degrading. not proofread.
Tumblr media
zhang hao + reader + hanbin
when hanbin told you about this thing he wanted to try in bed you accepted immediately, being in the same bed doing nasty stuff with your boyfriend and his hot best friend? an opportunity like this wouldn't happen again, and of course, you took it with no doubt.
at first, the situation was a bit strange, it turned out that zhang hao who is a nice guy (with a mix of sass too) enjoyed profusely being a mean dom, denigrating you by mentioning how desperate you seemed to be fucked by him, or if you wanted him that much you should do the work yourself, curiously he never insulted you with names as slut or whore, his words were enough to make you feel like one. with hanbin, it was completely different, this man worshipped you in every way he could to the point of venerating the ground where you stood, in bed it didn't change, always talking about how pretty, sexy, cute, and beautiful you looked while dicking you in the hardest but careful way possible.
this led to a situation where you, getting double penetration by them being your boyfriend on the back and his friend on your front, was having a confusing combination of sweet nothings with degrading words, “are two dicks enough for you?” zhang hao would ask while looking at you with a lustful gaze, “you're doing so good babe, taking both of us so well” added hanbin, his head buried in the crop of your neck with his eyes closed, being completely immersed in the act as if sinking his dick deep into your cunt could get him into a trance.
they did everything together and all the attention was directed to you, if hao was eating you hanbin would be kissing you while showering you in praises, caressing your whole body like you were some goddess he had to pray. if hanbin was fucking you, zhang hao would be lying on your side whispering nasty things to you, even saying things about his desperate friend, calling him a pussydrunk. it was the perfect balance.
jiwoong + reader + matthew
your relationship with matthew could be described as friends with benefits, even if he doesn't like that term and prefers to call it a “situationship”, the point is that you two fuck pretty regularly but he haves a few insecurities and doubts about what he can do for you to enjoy more, luckily for him! jiwoong usually helps him with all these doubts, as someone older, more experienced and incredibly hot he had more than one advice to give. but i guess that it was easier for him to do a visual demonstration, because there you are, being fucked by jiwoong while matthew admired everything with an amazed look.
“you have to do it like this, see?” said smoothly, his dick roaming into your cunt while his fingers stimulated your clitoris, your legs were positioned over his shoulders giving him more access to your insides.
“y-yes, jiwoong hyung” gasped, his eyes enchanted with the panorama in front of him, poor matthew was so worked up by just watching, his eyes didn't know where to look, there were so many options like your feet that in way of responding to all the pleasure were twitching, both yours and the other man’s body slamming together, your chest moving with every thrust and at the end, your face expressing all the emotions and sensations you were feeling throughout your whole body.
“do it yourself then” with this the tall man stopped his peace, switching places with his “apprentice” who now was penetrating your pussy and playing with that sensitive button, trying to do it as his hyung told him. jiwoong finds all this act somehow exciting, not only because of the situation of his friend recurring to him for guidance but also because having the opportunity of watching a full beauty like you being railed and having the opportunity of doing it himself was more than thrilling. now that he was lying at your side completely free he searched for a new activity to entertain himself in this show, “you should play with her chest if she likes it” advised, now twitching and pulling your nipples softly, more moans and groans were added to the already big amount of sounds that were leaving your mouth, proving jiwoong that you enjoyed it.
matthew was so invested in making you cum by doing everything his friend showed him that you ended up trying a lot of new positions (two times, because jiwoong had to do it first to do the visual demonstration of course!), finding new sensitive spots you didn't knew you had and having more orgasms than you thought was possible.
ricky + reader + gyuvin
you didn't intend this to happen, the three of you were just playing a little and being a bit handsy, it probably wasn't the best idea but it felt so nice and the ending turned out better.
getting fucked by gyuvin, your boobs bouncing with every thrust, and your legs placed on his shoulders so he could have more control over you and penetrate you better, harder, and touch all of those delicious points that made you see stars. on the other side, ricky was taking good care of you, making out until you ran out of air and manhandling your clit and nipples.
they probably wouldn't accept it if you ask them later, but there was an obvious competition between them about who would make you enjoy more, cum faster, moan louder, or even if one of them could make you squirt. if ricky kissed you, the moment he stopped to get some air gyuvin would take advantage of your lips being free to start a more heated kissing session, demonstrating he can do it better; you were sucking gyuvin’s dick? in his turn ricky is going to choke you with his, abusing your mouth until he comes into your throat; when fingering you both will try to exploit their abilities to make you cum fast, ricky knows how to touch you, and his delicate hands explore all your sensitive areas, exploiting your clitoris and making you crazy without introducing any of his fingers inside of you, it felt amazing, but let's not discredit gyuvin! he has such slender and big fingers you just desired them to be inside of you and when the moment came it was majestic, his fingers hitting that sweet point over and over again it wasn't any difficult for you to have your orgasm in a short time.
the conclusion is that this is gonna happen again and even if they have amazing and equal sexual skills, the competition is repeating itself too, it's not like you have any problem with it.

My Favorite Expressions in Love Sea Ep. 9
Holy shit I don't think I have ever felt more relieved watching the penultimate episode of a Thai BL than I did this week. I was expecting doom, I was expecting gloom, and while both were absolutely present, we did not linger there.
This is just my opinion but to me that alone is proof of how much Mame has grown as a writer because for a second there I was fearing another Don't Say No situation.
BUT THIS AIN'T ABOUT THAT LET'S YAP ABOUT MICROEXPRESSIONS
Tumblr media
I need to start with my baby because after the horrors last week, seeing her smile means everything to me. Gotta hold onto it as long as I can because we all know what's coming.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And speaking of smiles, this situation is TERRIBLE there are delinquents coming at my man with 2x4's but this feral smile from Mahasamut?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one is purely for Meena's benefit, to comfort and reassure her but it is genuine, Fort's eyes are very sparkly. He switches gears very quickly when the getaway bike arrives for the thugs though so however chill he seems, he absolutely isn't. He just wants to keep the baby (and Vivi and her friend) calm.
Tumblr media
It's very disconcerting to see Vivi this serious.
Tumblr media
We're 2/2 on smiles for other people's benefit. My poor girly.
*stares at Viviana* You did this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This look of pure murderous intent may be one of my favorite expressions Mut has had over this whole show, especially because it's paired with that clenched fist. And I'm going to give extra praise to Fort for it because he doesn't clench his fist until after Tongrak apologizes for what happened and he doesn't open his eyes until his hand is practically trembling from holding it so tightly.
This response doesn't come when Rak tries to blame himself for the beating; it happens when he apologizes for it. Mut isn't angry in the abstract and he isn't angry at Rak, he's angry for him.
Tumblr media
I don't like this face, Khun Tongrak. I actually had a moment where I thought to myself, "why can't I read your face right now?" and of course it's deliberate on Peat's part. Even without knowing what we know from the preview, this face would have told us that Something was about to happen.
Or maybe that's just me, I don't know. I've been staring very hard at Peat's face for the past two months.
Tumblr media
Watching Tongrak desperately try to steel his nerve after entering the snake pit that is his sperm donor's house is heartbreaking.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As much as I hate to subject you (and myself) to more of Jak's face, I'd like to point out that like last week, his face is in shadow while the face of the person he's speaking to, in this case Tongrak, is catching the light. Also worth noting that Rak's back is quite literally against the wall in this scene.
We see this play with light/shadow again when Rak has a flashback of him from his childhood. Jak has always been a vile, psychopathic snake and his true feelings and intentions have always been hidden behind shadow.
Tumblr media
It's horrible to say because there's so much anguish behind it but this is such a beautiful expression. There's a split second where he tries to look angry but it just doesn't work.
I think there's a tiny part of Tongrak that truly believed that tearing up the contract would be what made Mahasamut leave and on the flip side of that, a part that was afraid that the contract was truly the only thing making Mut stay.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
GODDAMN THIS IS THE SEXIEST THING MAHASAMUT HAS EVER SAID ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For people like Tongrak and for people who can relate to Tongrak in the sense that one or more of the parents we pulled in the great gacha of life are horrible and shitty, there comes a moment where you realize that they aren't actually these huge indestructible monsters. They're human.
And when you realize that and look at them, it's like you're seeing for the first time. There's a weird sort of pity and whatever the opposite of awe is that you feel that's hard to describe. It's a feeling of "...Is that really it? Is that all there is to you?"
That is what Peat is portraying so incredibly in this scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BLINDING LIGHT OF LOVE LET'S GOOOOOOO
WILD HORSES, YA'LL! WILD FUCKING HORSES!
Tumblr media
Pouty Tongrak face, as a treat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mook and Mahasamut were talking about Tongrak and what Mut would do if he got rejected when all was said and done, but Mook's face when Mut says he would accept the rejection tells me she's also thinking about herself and Vivi.
I actually really wish she would've talked to Mut about it directly because god knows girly pop needs to talk to someone about Vivi. Or better yet, Vivi herself.
As for the preview next week, do not even sweat it babes because you know what?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THERE ARE COLORFUL PATTERNS ON TONGRAK'S BODY!
I LOVE GETTING EVERYTHING I WANT!

Hello! First I want to say I really like your fae story! The world building in it is insane and I'm so glad Buddie is finally together. Second, you don't have to answer but why have you been posting stuff with tommy? I don't understand why any Buddie shipper would like him, he's such a pos in the begins episodes...why write him with Buck? You don't have to answer, but there are lots of Buddie shippers switching sides and I don't see why.
Hiiiii.
So, first off thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying Come Away, and I hope the ending coming up satisfies :) Second, ngl, I did consider not answering that question cause I really don't like wading into fandom drama...but that was a super respectful ask and I DO quite like the character so...fuck it, we ball.
This is probably gonna be long and rambly but the TL;DR is I think the fact that Tommy Kinard IS introduced as a piece of shit makes for really interesting nuance to the character and also I'm a multishipper...just cause bacon and pineapple is my favorite pizza flavor doesn't mean I DON'T like pepperoni or have decided never to eat it again (also, I have less than 10k words of BuckTommy on AO3 and, like, almost 300k of Buddie, so I don't think I've switched sides, lol)
As for why I can like Tommy and specifically Tommy and Buck together despite the aforementioned POS'ness, sure I'll cop to part of it being I am just so damn excited for bi!Buck, I'd have been happy with just about anyone awakening that in him. But also because Tommy, to me, is a fucking interesting character and DOES make a lot of sense as someone that Hen and Chim could forgive and be friends with, and that could be good for Buck.
First off there are some things I think we have to acknowledge about Tommy that are factual or can be inferred as factual from the show. 1. For his timeline to make ANY sense, he can generously be in his late thirties to early forties. For it to make sense without him being some kind of prodigy in a couple areas, he has to be in his mid-to-late forties. 2. He was at LEAST partially raised by someone who reminds him uncomfortably of Gerrard, a CARTOONISHLY boorish, evil, bigot. 3. He was closeted for a very long time.
All of those factors together make for someone who honestly, it would have been nearly IMPOSSIBLE for them NOT to be a piece of shit, and a textbook example of how patriarchal systems, toxic masculinity, and white supremacy are also harmful to the people who benefit from them.
Let me preface this by saying I don't think the harm Tommy suffered was anywhere near as great as what Hen and Chim (or any person of color) go through. And, of course, Hen and Chim don't owe him shit. Forgiving him or not is entirely up to them and the right choice whatever they choose.
My point is, Tommy almost certainly grew up in an environment where his worst flaws and character traits were just...normal. I think a lot of people don't understand how much LARGER the world has gotten with the modern day internet, how much easier it is to be exposed to things outside your own bubble. I'm either right around Tommy's age or a little younger, depending on the estimate you use and guys...I just don't have words for how INSULAR my worldview was growing up compared to now. How much everyone around you, even in larger cities, tended to be Just Like You. You had to live in true sprawling metropolises to be exposed to the kind of diversity that we take for granted now. It is a terrible thing, but when everyone around you, everyone you look up to, everyone you love and care about, and who is supposed to love and care about you thinks the same thing, you don't tend to question it. You don't even notice it. My own loving, wonderful, give-you-the-shirt-off-her-back grandmother, who was educated af in a time women really weren't as a rule, and spent her life as a teacher was racist as FUCK. And the really insidious kind...the "I don't hate them, but why can't they just stay on their side of town?" kind, the passive-aggressive comments that only sting the people they're aimed at so no one thinks to defend the victim kind. It's the weirdest cognitive dissonance to know someone as kind, loving, and moral and ALSO realize that the kindness, love, and morality only included certain people. If my parents had not moved around so much, exposing me to different environments (or if they'd been a little less lenient with my internet access when it started exploding) I honestly can't say whether or not I would have ended up just like my grandma. I like to think I wouldn't have, but that's the point...it's a frog in slowly boiling water situation. I think we can all safely say a parent like Gerrard was not creating an environment in which it was safe or even possible to question the hate.
And from that homelife Tommy had to have gone straight into the military during the heights of DADT, wherein hiding your true self from everyone around you was the acceptable compromise to just straight up having your life ruined (if not completely ended).
Now. Does any of this EXCUSE Tommy being a pretty racist, sexist piece of shit in the begins episodes? No. But it is an EXPLANATION and a true-to-life example of how those systems that everyone has to operate in are harmful no matter what. At the time, given what was almost certainly his background, Tommy would almost certainly have to have been INCREDIBLY self-aware and self-actualized (and honestly, really, REALLY fucking brave) not to have been molded into...precisely what he is. A pretty racist, pretty sexist piece of shit who is throwing anyone and everyone he has to under the bus (consciously or not) to divert attention from his own deviation from the "norm".
Okay, HocusPocus, you might say, so this still begs the question why the hell you think Tommy deserves to even breathe the same air as your favorite blorbo.
And let me again preface by saying I acknowledge the show leaves a lot to inference here. As 911 is wont to do, extremely important character moments are handled "off-screen."
That being said, we do get to see Tommy acknowledging he was wrong about Hen and Chim and getting to a place of mutual respect, if not friendship (personally, I think the going away party when Tommy leaves the 118 shows they've made it to friendship...I don't care how much you respect someone, cake, balloons, and a surprise party are strictly friend things). When Chim calls Tommy to take them out to the cruise ship like...Tommy's risking his life AND his career there, if not outright jail time. Just on Chim and Hen's say-so. Again...that's FRIEND level actions, not just "I respect you as a colleague". We see, either right there on screen or through deleted scenes, that everyone around Buck trusts Tommy with him. When have we ever seen the 118 be shy about expressing their displeasure over one of Buck's LI's? If Hen and Chim still harbored resentment towards Tommy, and didn't truly believe he'd changed and was good enough for Buck, do we REALLY think that wouldn't have been expressed?
Are there valid criticisms of the character? Sure. I think a lot of it can be explained by the rushed nature of season 7 with such a large ensemble cast, but yeah, Tommy's not super developed and a LOT of the issues between him, Hen , and Chim are left to inference. That's fair.
But I think the show MEANS us to make those inferences, that Hen and Chim's actions and interactions with him show that Tommy has done the work to change, and they accept that he's changed and it also says a lot about them that they can forgive him and be friends with him (which, again, he is NOT owed and they would have been perfectly valid in denying him).
So, yeah. I like him. I think he's interesting and while Buddie remains my OTP, I am very interested to see where Tevan goes this coming season.
Also, Lou is fucking pretty ;)

When Zoe-oneesama was still mapping out her plans for Scarlet Lady, she made an observation that two of canon!Sabrina’s biggest issues with her own personality are that she operates on both Mean Girl Logic AND Sidekick/Assistant/Slave Logic, which I agree with. This is evident in how, like you said, there are just as many moments — especially earlier on in the show — where Sabrina is gleefully going along with what Chloe wants as there are where she’s shrinking away or scared. Zoe also pointed out how this is highlighted in Evillustrator when Sabrina is trying to switch to being Marinette’s best friend and immediately tries to ingratiate herself by suggesting that they tell the teacher on Chloe and that she does Marinette’s homework. How would you handle a redemption or even just character growth arc for Sabrina with these main flaws in mind?
Here’s the OG post for reference (just for the Sabrina parts, not necessarily the SL parts since a few things were altered for the actual comic): https://zoe-oneesama.tumblr.com/post/180211248479/i-only-have-one-question-about-scarlet
(Link to the post that spawned this ask and a clickable link for @zoe-oneesama's post, which I'll also schedule to reblog the same day as this one if you don't feel like clicking a link)
Zoe is wise and makes excellent points. I've really enjoyed her comic's take on Sabrina and fully agree that people-pleasing Marinette is a poor choice for the character to help Sabrina be a better person in most situations. Marinette is great at standing up to those that she doesn't like, but once she cares about a person, she can be a bit of a pushover, which is a deeply relatable struggle. It's much harder to stand up to people when you care about them and want them to like you.
Adrien would be an even worse person to redeem Sabrina since he's even more of a people-pleaser! Marinette will at least stand up to her enemies, Adrien struggles to stand up to anyone.
This makes it hard to redeem Sabrina in canon because these two are our main characters. We want the plot and most of the subplots to revolve around them or the people close to them. We don't want Sabrina eating up screentime and elevating her narrative status to that of main character or major supporting character unless it benefits the wider story because the show isn't about Sabrina. She's an extremely minor character with zero ties to the leads outside of her role as Marinette's bully. No matter how much you like her, it makes no sense to give her serious narrative weight based on her established role in the narrative.
This means that Sabrina's path to the good side needs to either be very quick or somehow involve our leads and/or their core friend group without making them feel out of character. You could also somehow tie it to the villains and use it to develop them, but I really don't see that working for a redemption.
In spite of all of these issues, there are still a few ways that you might be able to make this work. Here's my pitch list. Note that the first three ideas could probably be mixed and matched into variants of each other where, for example, idea one's setup lead to idea two's plotline. I'm just keeping them separate to keep things simple and avoid repetition.
Idea 1: Remove Chloe and see what happens
Have season three end with Chloe leaving Paris because everyone blames her for Miracle Queen and Andre wants to protect his daughter. Without Chloe to be her leader, Sabrina is left adrift, so she looks for a new leader. She's already clung to Marinette once, so have that happen again, but with Alya more involved. Marinette will feel bad for Sabrina and Alya will be there to call Sabrina out on her bad behavior because you need a character who is willing to do that for this to work. Someone who won't try to sugar coat things like Marinette might if she's feeling sorry for Sabrina.
This path only works if you stick with the show's gender segregation issue where the girls and the guys don't interact much as it doesn't fit a setup where Sabrina is the fifth member of Alya, Nino, Marinette, and Adrien's little group. I don't even think it would work well in the larger group of girl friends. This plot line needs to really focus in on Sabrina and you simply can't do that with a large cast. The end result will probably be Sabrina becoming a pretty major character, pushing the guys even further into the background, so I don't really like this one, but it would work since canon is already giving Marinette and Alya way more importance than Adrien and Nino.
Idea 2: Self-Reflection After the Breakup
Have Chloe dump Sabrina. This could happen in several ways such as Lila not wanting Sabrina around as a witness or Sabrina failing Chloe in some way, leading Chloe to decide that she's better off alone. The cause really doesn't matter. What matters is the fallout.
This separation will play very differently from the one in the first idea. The separation is no longer forced on them, but an active choice made by Chloe, leading Sabrina to go into a full breakdown as she tries to understand what she did wrong. She may even try and fail to fix things. Chloe's continued presence will also make people wary of Sabrina, leading her to really have to face the bed her choices made.
Eventually Sabrina will reach a stage of self reflection where she wants to be better on her own. She will approach the rest of the class from the perspective of wanting help on her self-improvement journey, then someone who isn't a main character - and who hasn't suffered much from Sabrina's actions - will "adopt" Sabrina as their pet project. Sabrina's redemption will now no longer be a real plot line, instead it will be something we see hints of in the background. I liked the idea of this being Alix, that's a good fit. She would be very good at drawing lines in the sand. You could even make this a rabbit thing where Alix knows who Sabrina could be if she really works at improving and so Alix wants to help make that future happen.
Idea 3: Expand on Season Five's Speed-run Redemption
Stick with season five's plot of Sabrina switching sides because Chloe has gone too far, but instead of it being a one-episode thing, make it more drawn out. Make her and Marinette actually work together over multiple episodes and let Sabrina see what it's like to work with someone who cares about others. Someone who has lines that they won't cross. Marinette having a task to focus on will make her much less likely to baby Sabrina and give her Ladybug side a chance to really shine, which works since that's the side that inspires people to be better.
Idea 4: Paying it forward
Redeem Chloe, elevating her narrative role to someone who can have their own subplot, then have Chloe redeem Sabrina. Let their complex, but close friendship become a healthy and even closer friendship. This would let Chloe show how much she's changed and is probably the only path where I could buy Sabrina getting a miraculous as I just don't think that it makes sense for one of her main victims (Marinette) to give her magic powers. Just like Adrien should have picked Chloe, Chloe should pick Sabrina. "I know she's done wrong, but so did I and you still let me be on the team. Plus there's no one on this planet who is more loyal than Sabrina. This miraculous should be hers. She won't let us down."
You can also get real crazy and have Chloe pick Sabrina pre identity reveal so that Sabrina's redemption comes with a level of removal from the bullying baggage, making forgiveness much easier post-reveal. Identity shenanigans don't need to be limited to humor. They can be dramatic, too!
Personal confession time, that last one is my favorite. I just really love the power of love and friendship. I also really love the idea of the secret identities being used for more complex identity shenanigans such as easier redemptions. It's a lot easier to believe that someone has changed when you've become friends with their alter ego and seen the change first hand without the weight of the past hanging over you to bias your judgement. Option two is also pretty solid. Keeps Sabrina in her canon role while allowing her fans to see her grow into a good guy. Very best of both worlds.
I'll also note that the issue from my original post remains true: if you want to redeem Sabrina, then you need to stick to the version from the first three seasons. As soon as you add things like Derision to the mix, it becomes nonsensical to make her friends with her victims. She's simply gone too far with no complicating element to make her victims want a relationship with her.
For all Gabriel's awful actions, it makes sense that Adrien might want his father in his life, so you can potential make that redemption work if you handle it with extreme care, but Sabrina is just a random mean girl. There's no greater connection that would make the heroes want a relationship in spite of all that she's done. The only way to change that is to make Chloe a hero too because Sabrina is Chloe's best friend, so it makes sense that Chloe would want to keep Sabrina around (or at least these two were best friends in the first three seasons. I don't know what they were after that. It seriously felt like season four started with the introduction of Chloe's eviler twin).

I got some assorted headcanons for Nightmare's henchmen because I've been thinking about how many chronic issues those guys are bound to have non-stop lately...
Killer:
He doesn't take care of himself properly, even after he starts taking care of the others. Meaning my guy is most likely gonna have some issues with chronic dehydration, which, in my experience, leads to "fun" things like: long-term and short-term memory issues, struggles with focus, difficulties regulating emotions (meaning, the longer this goes on the more often he might flip between different stages), difficulties sleeping, frequent headaches, chronic fatigue, dizziness and vision blacking out when he gets up from a sitting position, and joint pains.
Being dehydrated also generally makes pre-existent mental issues worse. So the struggles with guilt, self-hatred and all that stuff that is very present at Stage 1 are probably all accentuated by his lack of proper self-care.
Horror:
His skull and empty eye socket both cause him pain often. Especially with switches in temperature or humidity. Because of the positioning of those wounds, that often leads to debilitating headaches and often teeth pain too. He pulls on his bones to try and alleviate the pain because the pressure does help in the moment, but the strain he puts on them always leaves him far more sore after.
The years of starvation also left his bones far more brittle and prone to breakage. He's gonna be extra careful even while doing things like getting out of the shower or sitting down. He would benefit from getting braces and several different kinds of mobility aids, but it's not like he's got access to any of that either in his world or at the castle, so he learns to make do without.
Dust:
Because he's got a high LV and yet his soul is still inside of his body, he experiences a lot of side effects from that. Things like: chest pains, frequent headaches, auditory and visual hallucinations, memory problems, frequent blackouts, disorientation, and bone fragility (though, unlike Horror, his bones aren't more prone to breaking, they're more prone to dusting).
The thin layer of dust that constantly covers his bones causes frequent rashes and irritation. It's not unusual to see red blotches on his bones. Massaging his bones with oil or cremes would help relieve some of his discomfort and I'm sure that Killer does his best to find and steal some for him, but their resources are still limited and his access to it is only temporary. Also, that scarf he always wears doesn't help, what with it being covered in dust. And having his hood always up doesn't help either, since fabric rubbing against his already sensitive and irritated bones is probably Hell. Wearing some lighter and breezy clothing would do wonders for him. (Yes, this is part of my propaganda to put all my faves in pretty dresses. It would look cute and it makes sense, I swear).
Cross:
Old badly healed fractures from his time in the military probably cause him a lot of general pain he's grown used to in the years. But, by far, the worst of his problems come from his and XChara's unusual soul situation. Sharing a soul cannot be easy, and it probably leads to a great deal of disorientation and confusion around their memories and identities.
Not knowing where one ends and the other begins makes social interactions with outsiders to their bond rather difficult. It most likely led Cross to develop a great deal of social anxiety which is why he often tends to isolate himself and suppress most of his emotions. Truly, he tries to minimize the amount of meaningful social interactions he gets because the panic attacks afterward are just not worth it
All skeletons should immediately be put in loose pretty dresses /hj
But honestly I love these very much, they seem very probable. And I can honestly relate to Killer’s dehydration and Horror’s teeth problems, those things suck. (For me tho it’s often because water is a boring drink.)
Also do you think that whenever Killer decides to take the others on his responsibility, does he do things like help Dust rub the cream on his bones, especially with those hard to reach places or extra painful spots? Maybe this is something they’d have to work up to, as doing something like that is a rather vulnerable thing, requiring trust.
I think itd be a cute image though, and maybe if we go with the headcanon that horror is or grows to be a little bigger or taller than Murder and Killer, he offers Murder some of his clothes since they’re bigger and looser. I’d imagine that Killer would have to frequently steal and horde painkillers and numbing medications for the gang, and perhaps manage it all carefully to avoid overuse.
And Dust probably wouldn’t want to wash his scarf, but I wonder if he’d accept a cleaner version of a scarf that looks just like it and just keep the old one as a comfort somewhere in his room.
And I’d imagine that Dust and Horror would have to frequently remind both Killer and Cross/XChara of who they are, where they are, the time and the year.
And very likely have to remind Killer about things multiple times either because he forgot something, or because he was asked to do something but didn’t realize if that experience was real or not. Perhaps they create a little system of asking if they can hold Killer’s hand (or let him hold their hand), to anchor him in reality whenever it seems like he’s not really present or sure.
{ @stellocchia }
Honestly id love to hear more about all of your headcanons. They’re all so detailed.

Okay but how would Anakin react to a short ass trying to top him. Because i cannot shake the need to dominate Anakin. Like i just wana pounce and wrestle him into submission before fucking his brains out. I want to ruin him. But i know even without the force its physically not possible as a 4'9 ankle biter but my god the thoughts wont stop 😭😭😭
LEEEEEEET'S TALK ABOUT IT, and I apologize if this ends up being a long tangent, but as a 4'11 switch who's had more submissives than dominants, I feel you! While there are always exceptions, the reality is we will likely never be able to have a dominance style that relies on intimidation or physically overpowering people, but that doesn't mean dominance is an impossibility!
Thinking about this from an Anakin-centric perspective, I'm gonna be honest, even if you WERE taller, stronger, aided by the force, you still wouldn't be able wrestle him into submission because that's Anakin H. Skywalker, that's Darth Vader, that's the Hero With No Fear, it's a losing battle regardless. But like I said, there are other ways to dominate, and what you have is the benefit of a misleading appearance.
Anakin is a cocky man who is often blinded by his love and desire, with that it'd be more of a game of easing him into submission and not showing your cards until he's on his back with his eyes rolling into his head and no clue how you got him there.
If it were me, I'd start playful, right. Distract him from whatever little droid or trinket he's modding in his spare time with a deep kiss and strategic brush of his jaw that implies more. Pull away, but only a little, enough to make him want to close the gap again and when he tries to, pull away entirely. It's bait and you'll see it in his eyes, intrigue for what exactly you're playing at. With your fingers tucked behind his belt, pull him with you; lead him to the bed and kiss him again, stripping off his outer robes and tabards, leaving nothing but his base layers. Before he can get you on your back, make sure his legs are right up against the bed so you can push him against it and climb on top of him.
Understand that, while caught off guard by this, Anakin still probably won't take you seriously at this point, but he's playful when he wants to be and he'd be amused if anything, so you're in a good spot. Keep an unsuspecting ere about it for now though, like you don't quite know what you're doing yet, like you're playing dress up. He'll put his hands on your hips and guide you back and forth against his hardening dick, "explaining to you" with his body what comes next when one is on top. Keep grinding, run your fingers against his skin, kiss his neck and jaw and what little of his chest is exposed while you rub yourself on him until he can't help but grind back. Pull his trousers low on his waist until his cock is exposed. Get him so hard and wanton that he begins digging his dull nails into your thighs, itching to flip you over and put himself on top. When his fingers curl under you, shove your hands beneath the hem of his shirt.
Tease your fingers over the expanse of his body and gyrate faster on his bare cock, as if you're the one losing control. Scrape the side of his ribs with your nails and listen to how the biting pain makes him purr. Kiss him through it. Bring his shirt higher until it lifts over his head and up the expanse of his broad shoulders, his biceps, then his elbows and that's where you spread your hands out over the fabric, locking it tight against his arm and putting your whole weight down on the bed.
It's an awkward restraint position to be in. I honestly think his initial thought would be that you meant to go for the wrists but aren't tall enough, however, you're exactly where you need to be. At his wrists, he'd have the option of using the full strength of his arms to break free; simple pivot from the shoulder is all it would take, but in this position, all he has is his upper arm strength and the awkward flailing at anything below the elbow. Could he break out of it? Oh absolutely, but the chains are the easy part, it's what goes on in here that's hard, Mentally you've already got him halfway there anyway. I personally think he'd be so intrigued from the moment he realized you're serious about this, that somehow you got him locked down with your pretty chest in his face, that he wants to see you go through with it now. Remember how hard you made him, remember that he's already dripping to be inside you.
Before his amusement runs out and he uses the full extent of his power to flip you over and have his way with you, get up close to his ear and make sure he knows "if you try to get free, I'll stop. Now put your cock in me." He'll have just enough range of motion in his arms to guide it into you with the force.
Now have fun fucking his brains out ♥️
Never underestimate your ability to be dominant, to take control of a scene. In my opinion dominance and submission is less about inherent power, but rather how power is transfered from one person to another, is it coaxed? Is it given on a silver platter, bent over in supplication? Is it won, is it bartered for? Everyone has their own way of getting and giving.
Contrast, unconventionality, the mental game of it, that's what's beautiful to me about BDSM now go forth and be a tiny Dom ♥️♥️♥️💖

I don't have a complete opinion about 423 because one, it ain't really out yet. And also, I'm waiting for the whole story to be finished, you never really know what Horikoshi would do.
With that said...
It's wild to me how switched up this fandom is when it comes to Izuku.
Sometimes, y'all hate it when he shows even an ounce of empathy or sympathy for a villain and now that he states that he won't forgive Tomura, keep that name in mind now, it's a problem?
For one, Izuku is still a child. A lot of his decisions are influenced by the adults around him so all the blame can't fully be placed on him.
Second, why forgive Tomura Shigaraki, let alone save him? Tomura Shigaraki was the monster that All For One forged. Tomura Shigaraki was the creation that the LOV knew. Tomura Shigaraki wasn't Tenko Shimura.
That's who needed saving.
Here's the thing, and this is just me, Tomura put to rest meant All For One being put to rest. Tomura getting this end, if it really is the end for him, seemed fitting to me somewhat because how would it be fair for Tenko if the warped version that All For One groomed got to live on?
I noticed that even after the reveal of knowing Tomura's real name, he wasn't really referred to as such. He wasn't referred to as Tenko Shimura.
Izuku is still a child who could only do so much, but in the end All For One did too much damage. Tenko was long gone the moment he killed his family by accident and even when there were chances to save him, AFO got in the way.
The thing is the fandom hates it when Izuku does too much but also hates it when he does so little. With Tomura, it was never going to be enough.
Tomura was just a monster to AFO's Frankenstein. He was just some false image created by AFO's own benefit. Tomura Shigaraki wasn't the real persona Tenko would have been.
I don't blame Izuku for not saving Tomura or forgiving him. Tomura, again, was monster. He did hurt the people Izuku cares about. He did everything AFO wanted him to do. None of those things was something Tenko Shimura wanted to do.
Tomura Shigaraki, with AFO gone, would have survived, he wouldn't have a place in the world. Again, he was created with a purpose to fulfill what AFO wanted. Even if he got the villains by his side, it still wouldn't mean he would be complete. Let alone meant Tenko got to live how he wanted.
For Izuku, this doesn't mean it's an overall victory for him. He will have to go on with this as a failure. He might feel guilt over this because Tenko is the person who should have gotten the happy life. Even saving Tenko, it would take time for him to find a place because his family is gone and with the villains? They only knew Tomura.
That's all I really have to say about this and I don't care who disagrees. I just feel it wouldn't have been right for a figment AFO created to still be around when he would be so lost. This wouldn't have been a total happy ending.
While there is success, failures are also just as important. Izuku's journey as a hero really only started and this is a failure he's going to have to learn from.

I just reread your Cloud Guy post and I would love to know, what are your thoughts on Crimp?
To me it's very obvious that they cut out her other scenes and left her in this weird middle ground of not really being part of the antagonists team fully but she also doesn't read as 'good'. If anything she's morally grey?
Why Crimp is with Velvet and Veneer can only be assumed to be by her own free will, at least until she's thrown into the closet near the end of the movie. She's an assistant. This is a job. She's not captured like Floyd, she's not blackmailed. She is receiving some sort of pay (money, credit, a good name on a resume as an intern) in return for fulfilling this job. Perhaps there's a good reason. A need for money for her family, a lack of job security in the fast-paced city of Mount Rageous. The movie doesn't establish a motive, which makes it really hard to figure out her intent and morals.
Crimp was verbally abused and belittled by Velvet and Veneer, but the movie does not give any particular reason why she simply did not quit or leave. If she morally objected to the kidnapping and torture of Floyd, why did she stay? What were her intentions?
I've seen people bring up the shoulder pads as evidence either way and to me they don't deserve mentioning because from what is shown, she was not aware of what they would be used for so they're not indication of her being an accomplice, but her lack of knowledge does not absolve her guilt.
When Crimp places handcuffs Velvet and Veneer she listed the kidnapping and torture of Trolls as recognized crimes. Meaning either 'kidnapping' in their law system can extend to trolls or there is a specific crime of 'trollnapping' as in kidnapping a troll. Crimp has been aware for two months that Velvet and Veneer were engaging in criminal activity. Not just troll related, but fraud. At no point did she seemingly attempt to contact the police. Again the movie does not give us a reason why. Was she scared they wouldn't believe her? Was she being blackmailed into silence? Was there any reason she could not or believed she should not contact the police?
So we're looking at a person who is keeping a job that requires her to be complacent in the continued unlawful restraining and life-threatening torture of a person. There's seemingly no reason she should be stuck doing this. She's not, to the viewers knowledge, made any attempt to call for help or report the crime to the authorities.
For someone so quick to call out Veneer on broken laws, she doesn't seem to be aware of aiding and abetting.
Here's where things get interesting. Poppy and Branch free her from the closet and Crimp shows up in time to mute Velvet and Veneer's mics so Brozone can save the day. Crimp helps the heroes... at the last possible second. She seemingly switches sides when it's clear that Brozone is about to do something to turn the tide. Crimp only assists the 'winning' team. Crimp only helps rescue Floyd when someone ELSE shows up to do it.
A lot of her dialogue seems very self-focused. By which I mean when she arrests Velvet and Veneer, she cheers that it's "liberating". She's getting one over on her bosses that were mean to her. Not once can I recall her apologizing to Floyd, checking on him, or really talking to him about himself in anyway. The only time they directly communicate is Floyd tells her that her ukulele is coming along and she thanks him. She does tell Velvet that the vacuum will kill him. "If you use too much, you’ll kill him." She doesn't say 'Stop', just warns Velvet that the results are lethal. A warning that could easily be for Velvet's benefit if death was not her intention. A warning that the vacuum would use up the talent far quicker than the bottle.
Crimp to me reads as a character whose only interest is her own life. This isn't necessarily bad, but it means Crimp only does the "right" thing when it benefits her most. Freeing Floyd would put Velvet and Veneer out of work, which would leave her without a job. She allowed what was essentially a drawn out murder attempt for at LEAST job security and at most... some possible blackmail reason or her own family's wellbeing that was not mentioned in the movie so it's at best a headcanon. She's not innocent in the matter at all. If it had been revealed she was being say, blackmailed, like most movies there would have been a scene where there heroes say 'Don't you see what you're doing? Help us, there's still a chance to turn things around and do the right thing.' It would have been portrayed as a bad action. Here it's not addressed at all.
That's my opinion on Crimp!

A yandere alphabet for Sigma from Overwatch????
I love him sm... sure! Banner may be low quality because I had to put it in a Google Doc, when I'm able to edit on mobile you'll get a better version.
Yandere Alphabet - Sigma
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Oblivious yandere, Multiple personalities/DID (Sigma), Manipulation, Kidnapping, Murder/Death mentioned, Violence, Trauma, Sigma was used as a weapon so it's expected, Overprotective behavior, Jealousy, Possessive behavior mentioned, Stalking implied, Forced relationship.
Tumblr media
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Sigma may be a broken man but he can be sweet. He's still rather nice to talk to, even if half of the stuff out of his mouth is nonsense. In terms of how he'd show his love… well I think he'd get along with you in conversation first then it goes from there.
He starts by just showing he cares by listening to you and expecting you to listen to him. He acts very curious of you and the feelings you give him. He's very subtle at first but during chats with you or others he expresses respect and even adoration for you.
I'd say he's in the middle of intensity. He treats his feelings as another curiosity he must explore. He also isn't aggressive (usually), often just an eccentric scientist who cares for you.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Usually Sigma isn't aggressive. Although he is shown to have three different personalities due to his blackhole incident. So while he is primarily in a personality that isn't violent…
The third persona, the one Talon often utilizes, doesn't mind getting messy. Especially if it means protecting you and keeping you to himself. You make his mind feel more at ease….
Can't he keep you for comfort?
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Sigma, despite his fractured mind, manages to prioritize your comfort and needs when he snaps and takes you. He's soft with you and often polite. He often likes to ask you questions and seems to be exploring how you make him feel.
He doesn't mock you, he cares for you too much for that. Instead he treats you like a personal experiment. Every chat and touch he offers is a way for him to understand you and himself.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Unintentionally he might but he doesn't mean to. Part of him seems oblivious to the fact keeping you with him is wrong while another part continues his little experiment. The crueler side only really appears when you fight him or others try to take you.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Quite a bit, actually. Sigma finds himself opening up to you quite a lot. He seems like he just wants someone to ramble to and you happen to be the perfect candidate to him.
He can be vulnerable and up front with how he feels. He wants you to feel the same so you may both be happy. However… he is still unaware that he is scaring you and just wants you happy.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
This is where the crueler part of his mind shows itself. He appears to express irritation at you trying to fight him. To the point he may even use his powers to hold you still until you stop.
It's quite pointless to fight a man who can harness gravity for his own benefit in his eyes.
Once you stop fighting he acts like nothing happened and goes back to coddling you. It's really odd and unnerving with how fast he can switch.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Not really… at least not in the sadistic sense. He hates seeing you escape but finds fun in learning about you.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Well… I'd say seeing his crueler side. Instead of being oddly curious, oblivious, and polite… he's cold. This side really reflects that fact he's a weapon used for Talon.
This side reminds you that he has killed people. He really isn't some eccentric old scientist. He's a weapon… and it scares you when he shows that side.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
He isn't sure. All he really cares about is learning why you settle his unstable mind. The melody in his head goes quieter when he has you.
He knows he wants to stay by you… forever. He just isn't sure how he wants it. He's just happy with you.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Maybe he does and tries to hide it. Most of him is content with silently trying to cope. Yet another part of him finds pleasure in the idea of simply crushing whoever is causing the problem….
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
He tries his best to be polite and affectionate. He expresses his feelings in odd phrases that you can only assume he means as flattering. He also enjoys holding you and allowing you to float with him.
He is genuine in his feelings. It's just his fragmented mind has altered how he thinks. He knows he loves you… he just ends up destructive when trying to show it.
He often sticks around you when others are around. It's clear he shows some sort of possessive behavior over you. Sombra, who knows him well, often relays how he's doing to you as a warning.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
Conversations and observations. Like researching some sort of scientific phenomenon he tracks every detail about you. He's of course going to befriend you first before falling for you.
Then it starts as him happy that you entertain his thoughts. Although, as time goes on, his thoughts get darker.
His obsession causes a whirlwind within him as he tries to discern how he feels towards you. Soon he may just snap and decide he needs you. You help him… so he'll be selfish as life has treated him poorly.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Not really. Although your presence certainly makes him more… (un)stable?
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
Using his powers to suspend you is one way. He controls gravity, after all. He doesn't want to hurt you, you're his starlight.
So his punishments are rather tame compared to most.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Before abduction, little to none except social instances. After abduction? Your freedom is taken then.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
He is surprisingly quite patient.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
Probably not. Losing you may actually make him completely lose it. Sombra actually gets quite worried when she sees the scientist go eerily silent and unstable.
He probably couldn't handle it… the melody is just too loud.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Not really and probably not.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
The event that made him split his mind was most likely the starting point before he met you.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Wrong. He feels what he's doing may be wrong in a way. Then he tries to comfort you… despite refusing to let you go. He's too selfish to let you go but doesn't want you to cry.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Maybe, not sure what though.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
I supposed playing into his interests and feelings. Even then it's a shot in the dark.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Unintentionally.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Quite a lot, actually. He likes that you make him feel more… clear. As a result he often praises you… albeit in odd phrases and compliments.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
Hard to say, he can either take a long time or snap rather quickly.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Unintentionally.

When someone tries to downplay how important Sonic and Tails* are to each other I just . . . on the one hand, I can understand it depending on what Sonic media they grew up on. Shows like Sonic Underground or SatAM (and likely the comics that spawned from SatAM), or even more game-accurate ones like Sonic X, were shows where Tails' importance was greatly watered down, or Tails wasn't present at all. Even in the "dark era" 3D games, the cast was often too robust to focus on Sonic and Tails' relationship. If these shows, games, and comics were someone's first exposure to the series, I can kind of understand thinking that Sonic and Tails don't really have THAT close of a relationship.
But just because it can be understandable . . . doesn't really make it right lol, especially if you look at other things surrounding the "dark era" and the current iteration of the characters.
SatAM shoved Tails to the side, but AoStH had him as a main character Sonic would let the world burn for, and the OVA had him as an important character, too. 8bit Sonic 2 is all about Sonic collecting the Chaos Emeralds as ransom for Tails's safety, and the second scene in Sonic's story in SA1 has him bolting to Tails's side after a plane crash. In both Colors and Lost World, Tails was used against Sonic by their enemies; in the second movie, Sonic panics when Tails is injured and switches rapidly between begging Tails to wake up and yelling at the G.U.N. soldiers to get medical attention. In the IDW comics, Sonic yells at Silver to release him so he can make sure Tails is okay after a crash, and Tails protects Sonic from Kit and Surge more than the other way around. Oh, and lest we forget, the Chaos Emeralds gave Sonic a vision of West Side Island to make him go there in Origins (and the Sonic CD ending implies Amy also predicted this meeting with her fortune cards), and Ian Flynn has said, "Sonic needs Tails, and that's just a cosmic truth."
So I don't know, man. I can understand if you grew up on media that downplayed their bond that you don't care about it as much, or maybe you don't like Tails very much so you have trouble seeing how important he is to Sonic's story. But it always kind of just boggles my mind a little bit, when people downplay it. And saddens me, too, because it's one of the few actual examples of a platonic love story in media, and I love that. We don't have nearly enough platonic love stories in media.
But those are just my midnight musings. It's sleep time now 😴
(*I seriously mean how important they BOTH are to EACH OTHER. Sonic needs Tails every bit as much as Tails needs Sonic. They each have their own hobbies and their own individual relationships with others in the cast, but they're each other's family and best friend and they mutually benefit from their relationship the same amount. "Tails idolizes Sonic while Sonic just sees Tails as another friend" just isn't true on either side. Tails hasn't idolized Sonic for years and years; the only characters who still mistakenly think he does are the villains, and Tails HIMSELF says in Frontiers that he KNOWS Sonic isn't perfect. In that same game, Sonic expresses how weird it feels not having Tails with him and shows hesitation over letting Tails go solo that he quickly tries to cover so he can support Tails instead, because he knows this is important. Additionally, in the IDW comics, when Sonic's feeling antsy before the showdown at Angel Island, he flat out says that the one person he wants to be with when feeling that way is his wingman: Tails. Theirs is a mutually beneficial partnership. Tails deserves to have that recognized. He's earned it.)

Ninjago's power scaling is ridiculous because like. I get not wanting to constantly escalate the threat more and more after each season, because then you'll suffer massive DBZ-level power creep.
But on the other hand, this means you have the ninja, who have conquered wave after wave of world-ending threats, struggling against some random jobber whose only gimmick is having two flamethrowers. That's it. She doesn't have any special training or experience, nothing compared to what the ninja have amassed. We've got the Masters of Fire and Water, as well as a titanium robot with Ice powers.
Gee, who would win in Season 12; Nindroids built using Zane's upgraded schematics, armed with laser guns, the chosen army of the embodiment of all evil? Or some regular human thugs fresh out of prison... I get that the good guys aren’t allowed to reap the benefits of antagonists because the heroes always have to struggle so villains are nerfed when they switch over to their side but jeez. Ronin and the cops should be a complete non-issue for the ninja, especially by Crystalized.
Watching the finale of S7 is kinda hard to take seriously because like. Acronix and Krux don't have powers when they're fighting Kai, Nya, and Wu inside of the Iron Doom. It'd be one thing if being inside of the Iron Doom allows them to re-access their powers, even without holding the Time Blades directly, but no. They're just two regular guys with swords. Meanwhile we have Wu, who is already enough to defeat one of said guys when he's powerless, so really he should be doing that while Kai and Nya gang up on Krux and use their I dunno ELEMENTAL POWERS AND SPINJITZU. You're telling me the Hands of Time have them at sword-point and Wu has to make a big sacrifice to save them???
Like. I can't help but feel like clever writing can be done to avoid these situations by making the enemies actually fantastical enough to be a reasonable challenge, but not the biggest baddest thing the ninja have encountered yet. Or we could even have some decent-looking villain show up and talk hot shit about how they’re undefeated, only for the ninja to just immediately obliterate them within a few seconds and just move on because guys like that are a dime a dozen at this point.
This is why Kai making a fool out of Cinder was peak, it made actual sense given everything Kai has faced and he even brings it up, and Cinder needed a special magical power-up to win afterwards. But once they’re on equal ground with Kai getting his own power-up, he goes back to thrashing Cinder.

...okay. I'm still trying to get my thoughts together so this might be a bit rambly, but bear with me.
The more I look at the black shulker investigations that Cellbit did around the time of the election dinner, the more I believe the Federation intercepted him rather than manipulated him.
The information that was discovered through the mission was a lot of stuff that was super private to the Federation: he found evidence that the Federation knew about the Code Sword prior to Etoiles even knowing it existed, he saw mention of the Federation doing experimentation and tests long before Baghera or even Jaiden's plotlines came to light, he found Project A0 weeks before we heard about Egg A1. (And none of this is me bashing on other plotlines; don't twist my words.) [The ultimate culmination of the investigation was the Code Sword, so it seems as though there may be a tie there—which, if the Codes are currently using the black concrete, would make sense.]
When he got to the final coordinates that the shulkers led him to, however, there was another book inside that shulker with more coords. This struck me as weird at the time, and still bothers me—because the final book had told him to leave the evidence at the coordinates; so why say that only to give him more coordinates?
But the final shulker was out in the open: it would be fairly easy to find and drop a book inside. If you knew what you were looking for.
Switching gears a bit—if I'm not wrong, all of Bagi's childhood lore fragments have also come in black shulkers, not chests or white shulkers. All of her information has been stuff I'm absolutely certain the Federation would not want her to know about or remember, especially if/considering they had something to do with it all.
If the Federation is order, control, and perfection—white—then this new...thing is chaos, luck, and confusion—black.
I think those black shulker investigations were just an exceptionally early introduction to whatever the third player in this island's chess game is. One of the books Cellbit received then said that they "share[d] a common enemy," and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. If it was from the Codes, would that be referencing the Federation? If it was truly the Federation tricking him the whole time, would it mean the Codes? Why would they say that; acknowledge the Codes in private like that? Either way doesn't really seem to fully click into place. Not to mention he was investigating both parties at the same time: the Code Sword and the Federation's tests/experiments.
This...black shulker association(? ksjdfg) doesn't seem fully aligned with either the Federation nor the Codes: I think they're a "neutral" third party. They might be working together with the Codes at the moment, what with the Codes helping the eggs to communicate(??? still not positive that's what's happening) but I don't think they're the same entity.
The black organization seems to simply be committed to giving out information the Federation doesn't want people to know.
To add another piece to this puzzle, look at Hombre Misterioso and ¿?. (Which I consider two different people—one being the mysterious figure that was torturing (/lh) Cellbit, one being the man that gave Maxo the plans for SOFIA.) If we consider that both of them are also a part of this black concrete association(? skfjg), then they are also doing things that don't quite benefit the Federation or the Codes. The ¿? man seemed wary of the Federation (he told Maxo to "be careful, the Federation may be watching") and just had these masterplans for a giant supercomputer on hand, for whatever reason. Hombre Misterioso seemed to have his own still unknown reasons for torturing Cellbit, but he didn't seem fully aligned with either side either.
Neither of these people really...strengthened the fight for or against the Federation at all; all they did was give us more questions. More confusion. More information. More chaos.

So I was going put this on my dual destinies post but it got long so. I enjoyed the mason system but I think the gimmick let's it down a lot. 4-4 is a great trial and I loved it a ton but it's messy as fuck in places because of the non chronologically story telling and it fucks up putting us in Apollo's head because it gives us information he's not privy to and doesn't explain what he actually does know. It gives us the dumb sibling loose end that just shouldn't be there. I think Apollo and Trucy being siblings is a cool idea and a good twist but there is absolutely no reason to leave them in the dark about this. So here is what I would do.
We start in the lobby just before the second trial day with Phoenix there. He says something like "ok Apollo. I've asked you to come here early to show you what I've been working on. I think it's finally time you learn. I've been waiting for you to discover most of it on your own but now it's time to show my hand. Are you ready to know the whole truth?" Then we flash back to playing Phoenix like we did to playing Mia in 3-4. It can either be its own case and act as foreshadowing for the final case or honestly preferably it can be a flashback within the case same place it is currently. And it goes chronically. All we've lost is the gimmick of bring the present information into the past which was confusing as fuck for actually tracking how this happened in universe because phoenix wright isn't a time traveler. Phoenix had enough information to interegate people in the past so he can do it the way he actually did. Then we flash back to the present. We get to see Apollo's reaction to this information and tie up his arc with losing faith in phoenix on screen instead of through implied dialogue. The Thalassa reveal needs some altering but you could just have her be around because she's a juror and then have Apollo notice something when he looks at her picture.
But now the jurist system is without a mechanic which sucks so instead I propose a bar at the top of the screen instead of the health bar where you try and sway the opinion of the jury. It could look like the judical scales with a procecutors badge on the right and a defense attorney badge on the left. You present the wrong stuff and it goes towards guilty because you look incompetent. When it gets to the end of one side you get either guilty or not guilty. All the other switches are scripted for when Klavier or Apollo present convincing evidence, but there's like 3 points buffer on Klavier's side that show your lives. If Klavier gets a big turnabout while you're on less than 3 lives you're in trouble. It's 3 now not 5 because I think there should be the ability to gain them back at certain points where Apollo is doing a really good job. Like a mini check point. Kristophs breakdown does so much to tip towards Apollo that it eliminates the previous penalties and you win. This will have the added benefit of making the way you play the case as Apollo actively feel different to the way you play other ones instead of just being told it's different now. Have it move a ton on Klavier's side when he plays air guitar, it'll be cute. Main issue with this is that if you lose all you lives after a recharge point but before Klavier gets a turnabout it will mean you have to play a ton while you already know you're dead so maybe add something in where the judge says you don't know what you're doing after the 3rd life and his comment move the scale solidly into Klavier's side.
My only worry would be space but this is a very easy thing to code (we're talking like one extra variable that needs adjusting and some very basic visual assets) but given we're now losing the graphical effects for mason and also the Thalassa reveal cut scene which all look pretty data intensive I honestly think we're saving more space than we lose.
AA doesn't need gimmicks. They can be fun but the are not what makes the games good. That's the narrative. And as much as I like the mason section it does fuck that up quite a bit to the extent that people are still debating what actually happened.
This is Apollo's game, it doesn't make sense for there to be information we have that he doesn't.
And honestly as I said in my last post I think the fact that AA4 is a genuinely great game with a confusing ass narrative at points has actively hurt the series going forward. People don't want to blame this game for Apollo's confusing ass plotlines because it's a lot more charming and likeable and compelling than it sounds like that later games are but it really is where I think a lot of the complaints originate. Why are his loose ends not tied up? Because AA4 was vauge as fuck about which ones were and weren't cleared up and there isn't really a good reason for them to come up again.
Look at the trilogy. All the lose ends are tied up nicely at the end of each and then the next game builds on the foundation of what was there before. AA4 is a great game. I love it. But it's a bad foundation because of the ambiguity of the Mason section because building on it requires very very specific reference to the past cases which is difficult to do in a sequel.
Like honestly sit and think about how much reference you need to do to tie up the sibling reveal in a completely new case where you have no guarantee the player has played AA4. You need to establish some basics that you would have to already. Apollo and Trucy have perceive, the bracelet is how Apollo senses it, Trucy is Phoenix's adopted daughter. That's a given. If this isn't the first case they should know this already. But then you also need to establish who the Gramaryes are, who Lamoiror is, what perceive actually is, that Thalassa used to have the bracelet, that's she got shot and lost her memory, that Apollo's an orphan, probably some stuff about Zak and Trucy, what Phoenix used to be like during his disbarment, that he got disbarred in the first place, that will bring up questions you'll need to answer about why he did and how he got reinstated, and that he is aware of they're siblings and Apollo and Trucy aren't and that him and Thalassa are waiting for the right time to tell them. That is a shit ton to ask. Aa4 only just covered it in its entirety and it took like 2 cases. And be aware this is stuff you have to recap without boring people who have played AA4 and already know. Its a really really big ask for one loose end.
Compare it to the recaps in the trilogy and it's even more clear. There you basically just need to explain DL6 and it can be done by saying "Edgeworth thought he shot his dad in an elevator but didn't. It was actually his mentor a ruthless procecutor called Von karma. Misty fey lost her credibility as a result," that covers like 90% of the references to past games.
Not only that but with the art style change you have to make completely new assets for it instead of just reusing the ones from the old games the way the trilogy does. like I get why they just decided to not touch it and invent some new stuff for him.
Hire me capcom. I'll fix this for the AJ trilogy release

He stated, "soft and pale...just how princes should be. It shows how you've spent days inside, lounging and spoiled -" He touched his cheeks with just his fingertips."Even your hands are soft...shows they haven't had a hard day in their life..."He brings his boyfriend's hand up to his lips to kiss each finger and then the center of his palm. "You even got a nice round face, too. it means a prince well-fed. Princes should always get their full. " He looks at him, waiting for him to respond." Isn't that right, Prince Min?" He asks him with a sly smile…….”

STWG Daily Prompt (Nov 19) - ADHD
✏️ pairing(s): stonathan
Tumblr media
🖊️ Steve can't really focus or accomplish this task he doesn't even want to do. Of course, it's something he needs to do. Jonathan steps in to help in a few ways that really benefit Steve.
📄 content/trigger warnings: fire, house fires (hypothetical)
✏️ word count: 1343
Tumblr media
“All you have left is the essay,” Jonathan said, shaking blank notebook pages in the air. They crinkled with anger his voice didn’t have.
“I’ve tried to write it, like, fifty times! I sit down at my desk and I think ‘yeah, this is it, I’m going to write this!’ and then I think ‘wow, when was the last time I washed the bath mats’ and then I’m downtown grabbing pizza with Dustin. Robin says it’s classic fear of failure. They can’t reject me if I don’t apply.”
“So glad she took Psych 101.”
“She’s kind of wrong though, right?” Steve stopped his pacing to look over at Jonathan, who still wore the same disappointed look that Steve so desperately wished had left by now.
“Uh, yeah.”
“I mean, we know they’re going to reject me. I don’t have to be afraid of it.”
And there the look goes. It’s replaced by this sadness Steve usually only sees sent Will’s way when he’s not looking. It doesn’t feel like an improvement.
“I just want to do something meaningful but I could, like, get a job at a pet shelter or something. That’s good. Old people need read to…okay, yeah. I see the problem with that one but you know what I mean.”
“Or you could do this and follow your dreams or whatever.”
Jonathan tossed the paper down on Steve’s desk the same way Steve’s dad did back when he helped with homework. All of it brought up this feeling of failure. Not of not knowing because Steve knew the stuff but yet he couldn’t sit down and get it on paper. Something that came so easily to other people, he couldn’t do. It frustrated his dad, mom, teachers, exes, and now Jonathan. A tradition Steve didn’t need to carry on.
He didn’t know how to distract Jonathan, how to switch the subject, and find something else to focus on. It wasn’t like he could bribe the guy or tempt him with a swimming pool they both avoided like the plague. Maybe Steve would get lucky and he’d be hungry.
As Steve ran through his choices, Jonathan was off doing his own thing. Something that collided when he put a Rubix Cube in Steve’s hand. “What the hell is this for?”
“Solve it,” he said simply.
“It’s impossible. You think I haven’t tried?”
“It’s not impossible.” Sitting down at Steve’s desk, no doubt rolling his eyes first, Jonathan looked back and silently added, “Get on with it.”
“Seriously, I’ve had this thing forever. It’s never going to be solved.”
“Okay, well Jim got one whole side green except the corner and it sits on our mantel like a Nobel Peace Prize. I never really thought he was smarter than you but maybe I was wrong.”
“No, no, no. I’m way smarter than Hopper. I can’t be–”
“Show me what you can do then.”
This almost felt like bait and Steve stared across the room through narrowed eyes, trying to figure it out, but decided it was the distraction he was looking for. Jonathan could do whatever and Steve had a fun but old problem to solve because he was definitely better than the former chief of police.
Wandering around the room, Steve shifted the block a couple of times as he studied what was where and what moved to where. He started to get a bit of plan when Jonathan perked up from what he was doing.
“If your house was on fire, like, right now…what would you save?”
“Am I the only one here? I mean, you, obviously.”
“Obviously,” he said with an eye roll Steve got to see this time.
Blowing a kiss back, Steve looked down to make sure he’d connected the two oranges.
“I think it’s safe to assume the people are out of the way. You and I were cooking, grease fire sort of thing and we got out in plenty of time. The fire department is on the way but things are catching fire fast.”
“Okay, just as easy. Mom would die if her photo albums didn’t survive. There are ones in there of when SHE was a kid. So I’d grab those but I feel like I’d also have time to grab some clothes. At least for you and I but maybe for my parents. Just, ya know, so we had something.”
“Clothes?”
“It’s kind of stupid but even if the firefighters put everything out before it wrecks our closets, the stuff is going to smell like smoke so it’s all gonna need cleaned. You know as well as I do how much changing into clean clothes makes things feel better.”
“You’re not wrong.”
“So, yeah. I’d grab us stuff like that. How much time do I have? I could get toothbrushes. If Mom and Dad are on vacation, they’ll be fine. It’s just me and you and mom’s pictures.”
“What about all these trophies?”
“What about them?” Steve scoffed, looking up and back down to work another orange onto the face he was working on. “A bunch of achievements that mean nothing, especially now. No one is impressed by this. Least of all me.”
Steve had resumed pacing in a circle at the foot of his bed. As he clicked the cube in all directions, he’d started to figure out how it worked a little better than he ever had before. A line of three was already beating his personal record but it was also giving him confidence he could complete the whole thing.
Jonathan was scribbling on paper and as much as Steve wanted to know what, he was too focused on this stupid cube.
They continued like this for a while. Jonathan asked a bunch of weird questions, they talked back and forth about the answers, and Steve wandered his room. Orange didn’t pan out but he was now halfway to a white face.
It was trying to get the sixth one in that was really starting to boil Steve’s blood. He knew how it needed to happen but wasn’t able to get it to work. Not wanting to mess up what he had too much to get the rest.
That was the same time Jonathan stepped up and placed and hand on top of the now messed-up side Steve had just clicked into. Looking at him to ask if he was looking to be murdered today but met with the softest smile. Immediately disarmed, Steve was left with comical annoyance.
“So you have a whole essay here. One that shows who you are and how you obnoxiously don’t think about anyone other than yourself. Not that it's worded that way, though. It’s good and any college would be stupid not to take you. You’re not bad at this, you’re bad at sitting still though.”
“Gee, thanks.”
“It’s not a bad thing.”
“You don’t say it like it’s a good thing.”
“Well, you’ll have to do a lot of it for a while if college is where you want to go. Starting later tonight, okay?”
“What! Why?” Steve’s head drops backward as he whines.
“Because I can’t write it for you. It’s gotta come from you but I got you a whole outline, quotes to work off of, it’s going to be turning it all around to get the cubes right okay? Make the puzzle work, it's easier than starting from nothing.”
“After dinner?”
“I don’t know, I might try and tire you out after dinner. See if that helps your focus.”
Before Steve’s brows can completely furrow everything clicks and his eyes go wide. “I have a lot of energy right now, I think.”
“Go for a fucking run then.”
There wasn’t any bite behind that but Steve was willing to play around and let Jonathan think he was hard to get. Tossing the Rubik’s cube to the desk, Steve played the game and he played it well. They had loads of time to “tire him out” before dinner. And maybe…if he was lucky, they could drag him through this essay too.
