#I've been having thoughts about how much gender is no only a part of language#but mentality. I don't think word processors are enforcing gender as much as the AI for#the autocorrect is created by referencing decades of previous works#the same way AI art is really just a smoothed combination of a hundred different artworks with some random integers thrown in#now we have writing programs that can autocomplete and even shift tone of the writing#but in the end it's just regressive#Its just using the cadence and style of a hundred other writers#and along with that#the notions of#when They and It and Her and Him and where those fit best. They/them is a part of linguistic evolution#and its so critical for writers to write as wierdly as they can and even use that#we cant let our writing become this airbrushed#pleasant#sterile thing. Its supposed to be art#Never neatly corrected into some false dichotomy#poetry#gender#they/them#it/its#writing#some thoughts
