wow new reason (to me) to hate ai: destroying environment
#so like for the past six months there have be so many workshops etc about ai advertised at my work#and like i haven't seen anything about environmental costs until i like stumbled upon some articles like literally five minutes ago#and its like.. okay university library that supposedly cares about sustainability.. why has this not been mentioned??#anyways... adding this to my list of things to learn more about and like bring up at work when given the chance#actually tech influence on environment is something i want to learn more about anyways cos very interesting and not talked about that much#where people actually are talking about this in library world (i'm surethere are and i just don't know)#at least not in any of the fields i'm involved in and like i really need to expand my understanding of this and find out#anyways add it on top of all the other stuff i want to learn about lol
