So far my endeavor to follow more blogs has been a 50/50 flop
#my posts#i have unfollowed half the ppl i followed in the last week bc of annoying posts or posts i fundamentally disagree with#and ive left 2 different blogs that i was about to follow bc they posted some racist shit#its so dire out here. i need a place where i can be politically on and i can still have disagreements and learn different perspectives#i just dont want to learn about perspectives ive already spent a lot of time with and have determined are fundamentally incompatible#w my values. like i love learning but reading opinions that i have already debunked is not learning#its not even educational like. its just sad and frustrating#and its especially frustrating bc my opinions boil down to i want everybody to be protected from abuse#so like to see people promoting certain types of abuse and mistreatment under the guise of being progressive or feminist#its such a downer and its even worse when ppl are promoting not their own abuse but the abuse of a group they are not even apart of#under the veneer of liberation and equality like. you dont even understand what youre talking about#youre out here promoting shit that is actively harmful to the group u claim to care about. jeez
