My 72 year old Japanese father is currently complaining to me about a new coworker who just started working with him, apparently the guy is great, but he's young and part Japanese so he looks at my father as an old wise mentor type figure, which if you knew my father the way I do is just utterly ridiculous to think about 😭😭

Like I love him so much, but this man is the definition of arrested development, he may be 72, but internally he's like some 25 year old dipshit who binge watches cartoons and K dramas in between gulps of diet mountain dew and World of Warcraft raid nights, sitting at his desk at 4am working on some random lines of code and logging in work hours when everyone else sleeps

This man may look like a wise old 72 year old Asian man (when his white hair isn't dyed purple or blue or pink or green or etc etc) with all of his shit together, full of a bunch of wise mentor wisdom to share with the youth, but give him five minutes and he'll start talking about the genius of Phineas and Ferb and the nuances of the romance in his most recent K drama binge 😭😭😭
