Bragging about graduation rate being small is always so weird to me. Not just medical schools but 1 semester classes. Like you're just saying you suck at teaching

the way it just makes the institution one that punishes the students rather than help them learn. pisses me off

#like this isn’t just med school too #i have heard about how 1st year of most law schools are just professors purposefully making a class difficult #like no babe #the whole point of education isn’t to gatekeep #and the whole point of teaching people MEDICINE is so that they understand how to ducking help them #and it’s wild bc undergrad university brag about their HIGH grad rate #WHICH MAKES SENSE #because that means it’s a place where people felt they could stay and complete their education but whatever #what do i know #i’m not a med student #just an observer watching people she love get more and more stressed by a grad school so focused on perfection #people who adore the subjects their learning. are fascinated by it all and want to use that knowledge to help #but whatever it is what it is 🙄#(it’s really shouldn’t be. like at all. & this whole forced competitive nature and perfection have led to so many issues but whatever)#asks
