namine kingdom hearts is like. the softest possible version of a vriska™️. she actually 100% qualifies! but she has basically none of the grit that makes other vriskas dig in their heels. she had just enough to kill a boy that she loved and that loved her, albeit one that she had forced to do so. it was out of necessity, and then she cried about it and had to very much be forced to keep doing any awful things at all.

even from the start, namine was forced by circumstances and direct threats to do horrible and fucked up shit, and she did a little more than she needed to, wanting to make someone, anyone, love her, because she was hurting. she knew it was wrong even then and basically collapsed into a (subtextually suicidal) puddle of tears at the first opportunity. same starting point, but she cut herself off at the pass WAY earlier than most vriskas.

for other examples see armsmaster parahumans, catra, vriska herself, azula, and of course ianthe tlt, roughly in order of how quickly and easily they managed to arrest their descent on the slippery slope and/or allow themselves to be held back by others. only an alternate timeline version of the blueprint really managed it, azula is still working on it (maybe), and i’m pretty sure ianthe has strapped a jetpack to herself because gravity wasn’t enough to push her down the slope as fast as she wanted
