Crazy how the way Junpei was written in vlr really solidified him as my favorite character in the series and how the big thing with him is he was put into a nonary game by Akane and then abandoned and became extremely depressed and centered his entire life on finding her again and got himself and his son in another nonary game because he was told he could see her again and at the end made peace with the fact that they had both changed too much and he had found happiness on his own without her. And then it’s crazy how in aini Mizuki lost her father figure, the one she had just gotten to stay and keep, and she had to grow up without him and she just like is not affected by it at all as a character

Shortly after your home settled down from those unexpected visitors, this doorbell rang once more.

Checking that RING camera again, you realize that Armando returned to the porch this time.

“What, did y'all forget something?” You barely opened the door, almost nervous.

“C'mon…” Aretas tried.

“What?” You don't even understand his point, not yet at least.

“I don't have much time before leaving, but we're doing this together.” Armando grounded reality.

“Say less.” You vowed, rushing to prepare for the battle yourself.

Outright monster James McGrath veiled his dark operations by working through one abandoned alligator park located somewhere deep in Florida.

“Armando's with Callie! Trail ‘em.” Mike Lowrey gritted his teeth amid crossfire and set your instructions for the mission.

McGrath just kidnapped Mike's wife Christine and even took Captain Howard's granddaughter Callie hostage. You fumed, raging from within.

“We're right here!” Callie lifted both palms for your vantage point just in case.

Yet wounds riddled Armando's body as this tree anchored his weakened presence.

“She…put me down by this tree. I'm okay…” His accented English struggles through pain, rightfully so.

“Kay…” Nodding down toward Armando, you're still protective despite everything.

“Hands up, Detective!” Marshal Judy Howard prompted your attention.

Raising both hands slowly, you turn around as expected.

“Mom, please don't hurt anyone!” Callie reveals tears, noting Aretas and you. “Armando saved my life and the detective looked out for us.”

“Move out of the way, Callie.” Judy continued staying armed.

“Mom, no!” Right when Callie shouted once more, Judy pulled the trigger.

Your body fell backwards as red dampened this tactical gear.

Yet, one lethal bullet pierced directly between your eyes, marking Judy's instant plan.

“Let me up, let up!” Right away, Armando wants Callie to help him stand from the ground, but immediately signals his father. “Mike, Mike!”

Seconds later, Detective Mike Lowrey joined this spot in the wilderness alongside Marcus Burnett as Judy keeps holding that firearm.

“What the fuck?!” Mike and Marcus shouted over this permanent view of your dead body.

“What happened?” Mike glanced toward Judy, both distraught and angered.

“I aimed for Armando but…”Judy revealed the truth about your death. “She wanted to protect him and Callie…”

“Aw, damn!” Genuinely crying, Marcus knelt toward your body this time.

“We can't call it in. Everyone will see Armando first.” Judy sniffled after holstering the firearm.

“What do you suggest?” Mike sought true guidance.

“Go. Leave with Armando before I change my mind.” Judy held her daughter Callie, but Mike understood this point.

Leave before everyone freaks out.

Despite everyone marking calendars regardless, time slowed down.

The Miami Police Department lost joy while Marcus and Mike stopped laughing together.

Even your pictures still greeted desks at the precinct, showing camaraderie and highlighting true friendship.

“Listen to this, man.” Bringing his cell phone, Mike walked toward Marcus one afternoon.

“Hey, Lowrey! It's my day off.” Your laughter chimed this old voicemail. “Are we still planning cookouts for the department? I'll be there, just don't let Marcus eat Skittles. See you later, bye.”

“She'd sit in the corner with a plate now.” Marcus almost chuckled to avoid pain.

That same night, you waited in the passenger seat of one vehicle and kept every window open.

“How did you die?” Detective Mike Lowrey questioned Aretas between veiled shadows of darkness while standing near this parking lot.

“Motorcycle accident.” Armando began. “Wore my helmet, but this guy crashed right into me. I flew off that bike and landed somewhere. Even paramedics called my case ‘gone from impact.’

“Who changed everything?” Mike gently wondered if the vampire idea stood with more.

“She did.” Armando pointed to your car. “Pushed everybody out of her way, bit me, and when I woke up, we hunted down the asshole.”

“Where is he?” Mike probed the whereabouts of Armando's killer.

Taking out his cell phone, Armando dialed this call.

“What's up?” Zway Rodriguez picked up on the other line.

“On speaker. Watch your mouth.” Grounding Zway, Armando stood next to Mike and held this phone.

“Hey.” Zway barely pulled himself together this time.

“I'm with a cop.” Armando put his foot down. “Tell us your location or deal with us.”

“Cops? What's wrong with you, man? They'll lock y'all up, too!” Zway pulled so many emotions.

“Zway? You can't mess around.” Mike then interjected. “Just tell me where you are.”

“Fuck off!” Zway hung up immediately and Armando ran, speeding in this car with you.

Not long after Aretas made the phone call, you killed Zway Rodriguez.

And Mike would never cross Armando's path again.

I think it’s neat: Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, and Boris Karloff got their movie death numbers up by playing the villain in horror movies. Presumably lots of dramatic death scenes with fire and/or unstable architecture.

i learned that actor Danny Trejo has the most on-screen deaths of anyone in Hollywood history, with 65. Followed by Christopher Lee (60), Lance Henriksen (51), Vincent Price (41), Dennis Hopper (41), Boris Karloff (41), and John Hurt (39). (x)

Today is the most important day of Nanami's life. Today, he finally marries the love of his life.

Everything went perfectly. There were no complications, and everyone seemed happy. Most importantly, you were overjoyed, too, looking as divine as ever in your white dress. Nanami knew he would cherish this day for the rest of his life.

Well, everything except right now, maybe.

Currently, it's his wedding reception. It's warm with fairy lights and the sound of glasses clinking.

But this also means it's also time for his best man speech. Unfortunately, the best man just so happens to be Gojo.

The man in question grins widely. A little too widely.

"Today, we are all gathered here to witness the miracle of someone marrying Nanami Kento, a guy who once tried to resign from life because his favorite bakery ran out of his beloved bread."

People laugh. Nanami's eye twitches. He tries to take the mic from him. "Okay, that's enough."

Gojo waves him off. "Let me finish, Nanamin! You should be proud! After all, it takes real charisma to seduce someone via Google Calendar invites!"

You're nearly crying from laughter. Betrayal at it's finest.

"It's true!" Gojo, much to Nanami's dread, continues. "Their third date was titled "Possible Romantic Engagement (Trial 3)" and color-coded beige. The only spice was the footnote, which said 'hand-holding permitted always'."

Nanami, gracefully, lunges for the mic, but Gojo side steps as if he were professionally trained.

"Anyways, let's not forget his wild days. Remember, Thailand, Nanami?"

He narrows his eyes. "Don't you dare–"

"He was offered a lap dance. And he said, and I quote, 'No thanks, I'm saving for a rice cooker.'"

Before Nanami can get the chance to strangle Gojo to death, Yuji appears, with cue cards in hand.

"My turn! My turn!" The boy beams. "I just wanna say, I look up to Nanamin a lot. He's the dad I never had. The emotionally repressed dad who once broke his arm trying to iron his shirt while wearing it cuz he was getting late to a sorcerer meeting."

Nanami pinches the bridge of his nose.

"That was one time. I was sleep deprived."

"Let's not forget the PowerPoint proposal!" Gojo jumps back in. Where did he get the mic? Who knows.

"Title slide:- 'Statistical Reasons to Marry Me'. Slide three was a pro and con list. The only con? He won't tolerate mixing the whites with the darks when doing laundry."

You are now full on wheezing.

Nanami turns to you and deadpans. "I was being honest."

Gojo raises his glass. "In all seriousness... Nanami is a great guy. A little stiff. Deeply tragic. Probably haunted. But the most loyal and caring man I've ever known. Full of love, too, even if it's expressed through dry sarcasm and firm handshakes."

Yuji wipes a tear. "Yeah, we love you, Nanamin."

He exhales. Peace. Finally.

But then, Gojo adds, "Also, he cried during Finding Nemo, but not when Nemo got lost. But when the dad filed taxes."

"I am kicking you out of my wedding."
