I love the difference between Pen and Colin. She’s loved him for years, silently but unwavering. While he’s just come to the realisation that somewhere along the line he’s fallen completely head over heels for her and he is UNHINGED about it. I'm scrolling through some ambient noises to help me write, and it got me thinking. Y'know those white noise machines people use for sleeping?

Do you think there's a very specific brand marketed at Gothamites?

Like everyone else has rainy nights on the beach, whale song, the crackle of the campfire, and everyone's all-time favorite "rickety fan about to oscillate off your shitty ikea desk at four in the morning."

And then there's "The Sounds of Gotham," a nighttime ambiance made up of heavy thunderstorms interspaced with the wail of police sirens and the occasional smattering of gunfire.

between them all, the guys at Watcher have made a lot of content effectively for free for all of us for many, many years. there is plenty of backlog to catch up on if you haven't already

if there is an enemy here, it's youtube. something like Watcher should be able to make a living on that platform. youtube has long abandoned it's creators and it is only getting worse.

paying money to smaller creators who put their all into making content you love is always going to be more worth it than paying for streaming services like netflix or hbo 🏴‍☠️

if you can't cover the cost, sharing accounts is the way to go. OR you can chip in a month here and there and catch up when you are able

was randomly reminded this morning that Leo canonically hung out in the walls of the Argo II and never slept in his room (which he used for storage instead).

I feel like we don't utilize that information enough, as a fandom. Where is the content of Leo sleeping in weird spots around the ship and constantly being in the walls.

thinking about tommy who's had a bad day, nothing serious just one of those my grocery bag ripped and I forgot my headphones and the store was out of my favourite and I stepped in a puddle kind of days, and he comes home to buck puttering away in the kitchen, and he just sits at the island with his head on his folded arms and oh so casually brings up some obscure topic, like how he did a mountain rescue and aren't there some special salmon or something in that stream up there that all the hikers want to see? and then just lets the rambling wash over him and buck takes the topic and runs with it
