Note
the thing is, you’re absolutely right! because what neurotypical people sometimes don’t understand is the massive difference between the average level of social interaction that they themselves vs other people get outside of organized or scheduled events like work or school, and also don’t understand the massive difference between what failure looks like, and how those two things overlap. i’m told that among the average neurotypical person, they’ll make a point to talk to people in their lives or hang out with friends or go on dates or chat with other people in public spaces, al to have casual interactions, multiple times a day, multiple days a week. meaning, if they have a failed social interaction, it’s buffered by the many successful interactions they’ll go on to have. failure most likely won’t mean complete isolation, because they have multiple avenues of interaction to fall back on. and, moreover, a failure in a social interaction when you have (on average) fewer than most means that now rather than that person going “oh that was a weird interaction, i talk to them a lot and it’s not usually like that, maybe it was an off day” they go “huh i don’t know that person very well maybe they’re just like that?”, which means that the odds are way different on whether relationships stay good after mistakes.
social skills are not actually as inherent as neurotypical people like to think. it’s just that when you’re always in practice, always getting back on the proverbial horse, the advice “just get back out there!” does actually work very well. but if you’re not able to do that for any variety of reasons, you can’t play the game the same way. my advice is not “try harder”, it’s “lower your expectations for yourself on what a good interaction and a moment of connection might be”. just as it’s possible you’re somehow unintentionally upsetting people, it’s possible you’re unintentionally making them feel happy, or valued, or heard, even in small, passing interactions. remind yourself that you’re working with fewer resources and a much more limited data pool. a lot of the advice being given is coming from someone who assumes they understand what the math looks like for you, because it’s very difficult to imagine that other side. so instead of trying to overlay a system made for someone who has resources that you just don’t have, you need to figure out what a functional system of interaction looks like for you, and adapt the advice given to fit your situation. my advice, bearing that in mind, is that finding communities and groups can look like a lot of different things, and getting your social needs met can come from a lot of sources, and ideally should! you would understand best what your situation is, and there’s no shame in changing tact to accommodate for your own needs and boundaries.
forgot to answer this for a bit lol BUT yeah, the post was a little bit more about the Conceptual argument than it was about me specifically, so I'm definitely already with you re: 'finding out what your Individual social goals are and working based off of those instead having high expectations based off of other people's metric' stuff. You definitely have a huge point with the "social buffer disparity" between NT people and ND people, where failures are both less demoralizing internally and less impactful externally when you're able to have a greater average of interactions generally also
but I really appreciated the "just as it’s possible you’re somehow unintentionally upsetting people, it’s possible you’re unintentionally making them feel happy, or valued, or heard, even in small, passing interactions" aspect of this message. I do definitely have a recurring problem of like, labeling Myself as an Uncanny Valley Person and automatically assuming that every interaction I'm involved in must be some level of uncomfortable for the other person -- it actually was kind of a revolution moment reading this and realizing that OH it does make sense that if I can unintentionally make people uncomfortable, it's statistically just as likely that I can unintentionally lift people's spirits in one way or another! So thank you very much for that!!
#like this is kind of tangentially related but i have been watching a lot of the smsh reading redit videos and#a story in one of them was this guy posting about how he had a coworker who Really liked Transfrmers and talked about it constantly#and it annoyed him so much that he eventually told her to Shut Up and That's where i tend to assume i push people socially#BUT the flip side to the story was that his Other coworkers told him off over it bc when she Did stop talking about Transformers#at work they really missed it -- like they had genuinely enjoyed listening to her and they wanted Him to apologize so she'd continue#and this ask was the thing that actually made that idea click in my head lol; that weirdness/intensity is not universally Derided#and plenty of people Can and Do appreciate it just as much as others might dislike it.#i wouldn't say i've been wanting to be More Social lately but I HAVE been thinking a lot about like. Talking More?#confusing phrasing. like i'm not particularly pressed/interested about Making Friends but i have spent years sort of holding my#tongue in ways i didn't when i was a kid; which is a habit i have been interested in breaking bc i miss being That enthusiastic#i've been like. trying to build up confidence with like 'i will be annoyingn people and that's Fine' but this ask is like a whole other#- more Positive - aspect of 'it's just as possible your enthusiasm would be a Boon to others' that i wasn't thinking about at all#it's nice to keep in mind! it's definitely more in the spirit of enthusiasm than being braced solely for negativity lmao

ohh if ali.cent ever took hel.aena to visit oldtown she would be vibrating with excitement at the chance to visit the citadel. if they let her enter the library she would read every single book on every single insect there may be. and maybe there wouldn't be many but i figure if there's Facts about insects it'd be on the greatest repository of knowledge in the known world. and she'd devour all of it and forget there is an existence outside of reading those books

𝑴𝒀 𝑮𝑼𝑨𝑹𝑫𝑰𝑨𝑵 𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑬𝑳.
♡𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒐 𝑹𝒊𝒅𝒅𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒇𝒇
- summary : Mattheo can’t help but wonder how he still didn’t get expelled from participating in too many fights, until he comes back to his lover to apologise for his lash out.
- warnings : i think none
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ever since you and Mattheo had been together, he was the only thing that was on your mind especially at evening. Mostly when you were praying.
Since your boyfriend LOVED to stress you by fighting almost everyday and was on every girls fuck list, you just couldn’t help but pray for him and for your relationship. Mattheo not once told you how a random girl confessed to him but he sent her away crying. Not once you’ve overheard girls insulting you from pure jealousy and saying how they are going to either just make him cheat on you with them or even going that far as giving him a love potion to make him fall for them. Not once Mattheo had come to you with bloodied face, broken nose or all bruised hands. This just gave you no other option but to pray for him, you couldn’t lost him to any other bitch or worse expelled by having too many fights.
Most of people thought since Mattheo was the son of Dark Lord, he had too many toxic traits. When someone would mention his name everyone would start to be judgy, saying he is too nonchalant, apathetic or arrogant. Truly, he was a loving boy, that was really caring about his loved one and would do anything for them.
Your boyfriend never knew about you praying for him. You thought he would find it ridiculous since he didn’t believed neither in God or praying. He just didn’t believed it worked. Even if he was sleeping over you still managed to loose your beloved.
Until one night…
In the day, Mattheo came back from yet again fight. Not admitting it loudly, you were a little tired of it. You could not count how many times in a month he came back to you, bloodied scaring and stressing the shit out of you. So you told him that while cleaning up his scars.
“Matty, you can’t keep getting into this many fights. I know it’s hard because of people and their shit talking mouth, but violence is not the only answer and you know it because i’ve told you this many times… i think it’s stressing me out more than you.” - You said while dabbing a cotton pad on a scare on the bridge of his nose. Mattheo rolled his eyes while looking on the floor, mumbling something under his nose.
You sighed backing up a long from him to look in his eyes that couldn’t meet yours. “I know this talk is annoying but-“
“Please Y/N, just… shut up for a second. It’s so fucking tiring listening to the same lecture every time i come to you from a fight.” - He said standing up from the toilet seat to finally look at you. “I come to you for comfort not for listening to act like you’re my fucking mother.” Mattheo looked at you with annoyance and fury in his eyes.
You could not believe what you were hearing. Everything you did for him seemed to go ruin from the things he just said. Looking up at him with teary eyes, the only things you could say without breaking down was “Get out and think about what you just said.”
Mattheo just chuckled and stormed out of the room. When he was out you couldn’t help but break down. You don’t really know how many hours you have been crying and how many class have you missed but eventually you managed to get into bed and take a little nap.
When you woke up you felt.. so empty. The things that your boyfriend had said earlier still hunting your mind. You got up, to freshen up and just do a little self care evening just to lighten up your mood. Even tho Mattheo had hurt you too much today, you decided to not give up your prayer for him and your relationship and for everything to find it way out so you can make today up.
When you started praying, you didn’t hear a soft nock on your dorm room since you were too focused on making sure Lord hears your prayers for your boyfriend’s protection. While the door opened you felt tears falling down your cheeks. Turning your head around to see who interrupted, you saw your boyfriend standing in the doorway. You quickly got up, sitting on a bed and wiping your tears away. You started to say something but he quickly cut you off.
“You were praying?” - Mattheo said coming to sit next to you.
“Um… yeah.. Actually i’ve been meaning to tell you for a while.”
“No Y/N it’s okay, i came here just to-“ You quickly cut him off.
“I had been praying for you. Every evening, even when you were sleeping over i always found time. Only for you. For our relationship. For your safety every time you fight but mostly for you to not get expelled from the amount of them. That’s why i always remind you to wind down with them. Because i’m scared i’m going to lose the only person i truly care about. I- i don’t know what else to say.. i love you too much for us to either fight or to lose each other because of your stupidity. I don’t pray for you for nothing, but i should’ve told you sooner..” - You said not feeling the hot tears falling down your flushed cheeks.
“Y/N… love.. that’s.. the most beautiful.. way for you to show me any love. I really fucked up and disappointed you today. I should have never ever yelled at you today or even start any argument, later i realised you were so right about how i relief my anger. Today i couldn’t stop myself, when i heard an asshole talking about you i just saw red. I’m sorry love, i will try and calm myself just for your final peace. So you can never stress like you have been after every fight.” - Mattheo said stroking your face and wiping every tear that fell down your beautiful face.
When you started sobbing, the only thing Mattheo knew could calm you down was pull you into his amrs and whisper you sweet nothings.
After a while you fell asleep again while laying on your boyfriend that was rubbing your back all the time and kiss your head from time to time.
“I’m sorry sweetheart for today…” - Mattheo whispered knowing you can’t hear him.
“Now i know how i’m still in this school…. thank you baby”
“You’re welcome” - You said kissing his neck smiling.
In the end you both fell asleep holding each other knowing you’re each other’s guardian angels<3.

Shopping with different OP characters!!
GN! reader, established relationship
warnings: stealing, doflamingo is an ASSHOLE
Includes: Crocodile, Nami, Doflamingo, Law, Kidd
My materialistic side really shows here💀
~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~ ~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~
Crocodile
You had been begging Crocodile to take a break and go out with you all day. He really wanted to get work done, but just to shut you up, he finally agreed. You get all dressed up for a luxurious private dinner and afterwards the two of you take a walk through the city for some shopping, which is always fun with Crocodile’s bottomless wallet. As you’re walking, cozy underneath his big coat, a beautiful top catches your eye. You run up to the store window in awe of the striking piece that looks like it was made just for you.
“Wow, look at this one…” you say, trying to avoid flat out asking for it. You give him your best puppy dog eyes, fluttering your lashes as you blink innocently.
He knows what you want and responds, “you have a strange taste in fashion, but I’ll tell you what,” he chuckles and pulls out his wallet, “I’ll buy it for you if you let me choose something I want to see you in.”
You feign surprise, widening your eyes as you answer, “Really?” He laughs and pats your back, leading you inside the store.
Nami
Nami always ends up spending too much Beri when she goes shopping, and it’s even worse when she’s with you because she just can’t say no. So when the crew docks at a new island, the two of you agree not to spend any money on new clothes. Of course, a high end boutique catches your eye and you give Nami a mischievous glance, communicating you were gonna go in whether she wanted you to or not.
“I only want to try stuff on, I swear!” You exclaim over your shoulder.
“Fine, but don’t even try to convince me to pay for anything!” Your girlfriend tries to act annoyed, but her wide grin reveals her entertainment at your antics. Every time you show interest in something, Nami takes it into the dressing room next to you. You thought it was weird because the two of you have fairly different tastes. When you eventually leave the boutique, She pulls you close and opens her purse with a giggle to reveal all the clothes she had shoplifted for you. “See babe, I told you I wouldn’t pay for anything!”
Doflamingo
It’s a lazy Sunday morning for you and the King, lounging in bed with silk robes and the finest quality coffee. You’re flipping through a magazine while he reads some book about war strategy. “Doffy, what do you think about this one?” You ask. You don’t even have to consider money, Doflamingo can afford anything.
“Hmm…” he thinks for a minute, “I don’t think that’s your color.” You sigh. He always has to control everything. “What about this?” He points out something much more pink and extravagant.
“Why does everything always have to go your way?” You whine, fed up with his ego.
“You need to look good next to me,” he states firmly, putting an arm around your shoulder. “I have a reputation to uphold. Are you seriously not willing to sacrifice your fashion taste in exchange for everything else I give you?” The last thing you want is a fight, so you just rest your head on his chest as he calls in an attendant to order his picks for you.
Law
You had managed to drag Law to the mall with you, promising to go to the pawn shop with him afterwards to look for rare commemorative coins for his collection. When you see the cutest, chubbiest seal plushie ever, you know you have to have it. The only issue is that you have no money. Holding it behind your back, you turn to your boyfriend. “Law,” You begin your pitch, trying to look as cute and convincing as possible. “You really, really love me, right?” You tease.
“Of course I love you,” he answers, “but what are you scheming?”
You reveal the plushie to him and squeeze its cheeks. “I need this.”
He tries to hide his amused smile from you - you look so cute when you’re happy and he suddenly has the best worst idea ever.
“No, you don’t need it. You want it.” He takes the plushie from you. “Maybe another time, sorry babe.”
After a long day with your boyfriend, you had forgotten all about the seal plushie. The two of you arrive home and when he shuts the door he turns to you with a wide grin.
“What’s that look for?” You question playfully. He reaches into the shopping bag you made him carry and pulls out the chubby seal. You grab it from his hand and give him a lighthearted slap to the arm. “Law! You liar!”
Kidd
“Kidd, look at this!” You call to him while adjusting a choker around your neck. “Should I buy it?” You immediately regret showing him when a mischievous gleam lights up his eyes.
“Buy it?” Kidd taunts, reaching over to fasten the choker for you before grabbing several more. You’re frozen in place as he decks you out in accessories.
“What are you doing?” You question, “We can’t afford this!”
“You look cool!” He ruffles your hair and grins before whispering, “Now leave quick while I’m distracting the cashier.”
“Are you crazy?!” You whisper-yell. (Even though you already know the answer is yes.)
A shopkeeper interrupts your bickering, making you jump. “No playing dress-up in the store! Either pay or leave!” He scolds.
“Okay, bye then!” Kidd says to the shopkeeper before effortlessly throwing you over his shoulder and disappearing out the door.
~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~-.-~~
Thanks for reading!! Sorry for the doffy part

Falling in Love on the Fourth Floor - Part 5
Summary: Out of an act of desperation, you move in with a guy you kind of know who happens to have a really hot brother who lives next door.
Author’s note: We’re setting things up, baby!! I’m not sure about this part tbh. It’s been a bit since I updated, so hopefully the length of this will make up for it!! 💕
Warnings: slight drinking, mentions of sex, I almost had someone order a sweet tea before I remembered that doesn’t exist much outside the south
(Part 1) (part 2) (part 3) (part 4) (masterlist)
Tumblr media
It was quite impressive, really, how Rhysand took half an hour to eat his bowl of cereal just to piss off his brother. Azriel was pacing, wanting to see you as soon as possible. Truthfully he had been waiting since you left their apartment that morning, inviting him and Rhys to come out with you and Feyre.
Azriel thinks he deserves an award for the patience he’s harboring over Rhys’s movements.
They eventually walk into your apartment, much to Rhys’s delight, to find you and Cassian bickering in your kitchen over his inability to turn the tv off at night.
“Cassian, please, stop leaving the tv on at night. I woke up at 3 in the morning and was blinded by the idle Netflix screen.”
“I’ll try, but it’s a big ask. You want me to find the remote when I’m very sleepy and just shut it off?”
“Uh, yeah that’s what I said,” you respond, leaning against the counter, waving to Rhys and Az. Rhys elects not to comment at the way you perk up at the sight of his brother. “Somehow I don’t think it’ll be the end of the world.”
Cassian mumbles out, “I’ll try,” before acknowledging his brothers. Him and Rhys start talking about something but your phone vibrates, distracting you from their conversation.
Feyre: I’m here
“Awesome, Fey’s here - let’s go.”
The four of you head down, taking the elevator down. Cassian thought about pushing all the buttons, but he knew it was a surefire way to find an axe imbedded in the side of his head within the hour.
You all head down to the parking lot, spotting Feyre leaning against her car. The second you point it out Cassian yells, “shotgun!”
You retort back, “how old are you again?”
Cassian responds, having reached the passenger door, “the laws of shotgun are anti-discriminatory, they’re not bound by age.”
You roll your eyes at him, as Azriel holds the door open for you to get into the back. You sit in the middle seat, squished between Azriel and Rhys. And if you lean further into Azriel, his thighs pressed against yours, that’s between you and Feyre’s silver prius.
The five of you walk in and find the place nearly empty. After signing consent forms and paying, you notice that there’s a bar. You and Cassian immediately get drinks, a beer and a seagram’s, and head over to the lane the owner told you to go to.
“Maybe having alcohol and an axe to throw isn’t a great idea,” you mutter, taking a sip anyway.
Cassian saunters up first, putting his beer down before grabbing the axe.
“I’m sure I’ll be a natural at this,” he tells you all, before swinging the axe back and throwing it, all of you watching as it bounces off of the target.
You snicker, but it’s Rhys who says what you’re all thinking. “Mmm, a natural. I see it.”
You all take turns in the two lanes provided, throwing a few times until eventually you all get the hang of it.
Rhys and Azriel fare much better than Cassian with their initial throws, but you and Feyre were struggling for a while, until eventually you guys began keeping score as you went. Feyre began shooting better, telling everyone that she just “needed a few practice swings in”.
In between your turns, you kept finding yourself next to Azriel, joking and poking fun at everyone else’s shooting. You were too busy with Azriel to notice Feyre and Rhys swapping phone numbers as Cassian was throwing.
Cassian turned from the lane, noticing both of his brothers having paired off with girls. He’s slightly annoyed at the fact that no one congratulated him on his bullseye. He places the ax back where it belongs and clamps down on Azriel’s shoulder as he sits next to him.
“Your turn,” Cassian grins. Azriel wants to object, peeferring to stay in your company, but decides against it, walking over to throw. You turn to watch him, but Cassian starts speaking.
“So you have the hots for my brother,” he says, voice low, causing you to choke on your drink. You turn to him, spluttering as he looks at you expectantly.
“Uh, Rhys is very nice but I don’t-“
Cassian’s raised hand interrupts you. “Not that one, sweets.”
You debate whether or not you should deny it, but Cassian looks at you and you sigh. You start ripping the label off your drink and nod your head just slightly.
Cassian grabs his beer and stands up. He looks at you over his shoulder before saying, “I think it’s mutual.”
You don’t have time to mull over his words. Your phone buzzes, and pulling it out, you see Mor’s contact lighting your screen. You answer, putting the phone to your ear. Az sits back down next to you, watching you answer.
“Hello?”
“Hi sweetie,” Mor’s smooth voice crackles over the phone. “Do you wanna get dinner?”
Az looks over at you, the sound of Mor’s voice familiar to him.
“Uh I’m out with Feyre, Cassian, Rhysand, and Azriel.”
Mor huffs, “without me? You go out with my favorite guys and don’t invite me?”
You scratch the back of your head at her admonishment, “uh well it was kinda spur of the moment.”
Az takes a sip of his water as he watches you on the phone, curious about your friendship with Mor. He knew Mor somewhat well, actually. Rhysand brought her around fairly often, and Cassian brought her around somewhat regularly. He can’t believe the blonde would hide you away from them for so long and why she especially wouldn’t try to set the two of you up at some point.
Mor was, above all, convinced she was a matchmaker. No one escaped her clutches of trying to pair people up.
“Okay, whatever. I’ll forgive you if all of you come out to dinner with me tonight.”
You laugh, “ah a guilt trip. Where should we meet you? And when?”
Mor thinks for a minute, “meet me at that Mexican restaurant out on Main street. In an hour?”
You nod, even though she can’t see you. “Okay, but I can’t guarantee everyone will come. I haven’t asked.”
You know she’s rolling her eyes as she responds, “just tell them I said pretty please - they’ll come. And tell them that I’ll pay.”
Your eyebrows raise, “are you sure? I live with Cassian - I’ve seen that man eat a rotisserie chicken as a snack.”
“Well I won’t be paying, I’ll put it on my lovely father’s credit card. I’ll consider it payment for that awful dinner a few weeks ago.”
“Well, let me ask them and I’ll let you know.”
“Okay, I gotta go. Bye, love youuuuu,” Mor’s drawn out affections end as you hang up, coming back to your surroundings. Feyre has an axe in her hand, and you hear Rhys cheer as she hits a few feet from the bullseye.
“Do you guys want to get dinner with Mor? She told me she won’t forgive me if you guys don’t come.”
Azriel and Rhys share a look, but you continue. “She did say to tell you all “pretty pleasaaase.” You bat your eyelashes in a fairly spot on impression of Mor, “and that she’s paying.”
Cassian comes up next to you, slinging an arm around your shoulders. “Lead with the free food next time, sweetheart.”
Leaving axe throwing behind a bit later, Cassian is grumbling about how Azriel outscored everyone substantially. Rhys leads the group outside and grins at Cassian declaring, “shotgun.”
Cassian huffs but trudges to the back with you and Azriel. The backseat is even more cramped, seeing as Cassian’s thighs could take up a seat of their own. You’re practically having to sit on both of them, and Azriel is pressed against the door to give you as much space as possible.
Between no one paying attention to him during your group outing and the fact that he lost, Cassian was overcome with the need to stir something up, so he turns to you and asks, “the world is ending and you have to sleep with one of us to save the world, who do you pick?”
You turn to Cassian, shock on your face. Azriel perks up in his seat a bit, wanting to hear what you’ll say. Feyre and Rhys even stop their conversation up front to hear.
“What kind of apocalyptic event is this, Cass?”
“A horny one?” He asks, not really sure himself.
You all laugh, “okay so I sleep with one of you and the world is saved?”
“Yeah, exactly.”
“I’d pick Feyre. She’d be a gentle lover,” you say, looking towards your friend as she drove. Feyre gives you a wink through the rearview mirror, and Cassian groans.
“Nope, it can’t be Feyre.”
“Well you didn’t say that earlier,” you point out.
“Well I’m saying it now.”
“Why don’t you just tell me the parameters of who I can have sex with to save the world,” you say, a bit exasperated at this imaginary scenario.
“Me, Rhys, and Az.”
“Cassian,” you say, matter of factly, and Azriel feels his heart fall through his chest. He tries to even his breathing so you don’t notice him shattering next to you, but your voice picks up again as Cassian is cheering.
“I wouldn’t have sex with you, even in a world ending event.” You pat his shoulder. “I’d let all of us die before doing that.”
Rhys throws his head back laughing and Cassian crosses his arms, leaning back in the seat, huffing. Azriel smirks slightly, and he notices that you don’t actually answer the question Cassian posed. He also notices your eyes nervously glancing in his direction every few seconds.
The restaurant comes into view as Cassian keeps grumbling, his unanswered question long forgotten. The five of you pile out of the car, and Azriel offers his hand to you to help you get out. His hand is a little cold in yours, but you hold it a little longer than necessary, soaking in the contact.
You all walk up to the front to find Mor aggressively waving her hands at you all, trying to make sure you see her. You chuckle, and Cassian starts waving back just as dramatically.
“It’ll be about 20 minutes,” she tells you all, texting someone. You all hear the ding of Cassian’s phone right as she’s done talking, but none of you point it out.
Mor and Cassian huddle together talking, leaving the four of you to mingle. The presence of both of them and Feyre makes everyone pause, uncertain of what to say. You had never really realized how much easier talking was with Cassian nearby.
Feyre asks, “so what do you guys major in?”
“Computer science,” Azriel says.
“I’m a double major with business and engineering.”
Rhys’s major does not shock you at all. The well-tailored clothing he wears every day do nothing to combat the business major stereotype. The engineering part does, however, surprise you.
Feyre asks him about his classes, and you perk up when he mentions the organic chemistry class you’re a TA for. The two of them keep talking, bur you turn your attention to Azriel.
“Why computer science?” You ask Az, curious. It suits him, you think. It’s easy to see him behind a computer, developing websites.
“I like software development and coding.”
You groan in disgust, “I don’t know how you like coding. I have to do it for a research project and I hate it. It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
“What about it doesn’t make sense?”
“It’s just like a new language no one taught me.”
“I could help you,” he says, hesitating to be too forward, “if you- if you want, of course.”
“Yes, I’d love that!”
The two of you are so enraptured in your conversation you don’t notice the looks Rhys and Feyre are sharing at how obvious the two of you are.
The looks between you and Azriel, and Feyre and Rhys, are interrupted by Mor’s chiming. “It’s ready!”
The six of you walk towards a booth in the back, you, Azriel, and Feyre on one side, Cassian, Mor, and Rhys on the other. The waitress provides you all menus, and before she can walk away Cassian asks for “enough queso to make a grown man cry”.
You’re looking at the menu when Azriel nudges you with his elbow. “You never said what your major was.”
“Oh, uh I’m a biology major.”
“Biology?” He asks, a bit surprised.
“Yeah, I really like evolution and ecology. I like the diversity of life.”
“And what is your project that requires coding?”
“Oh- it’s a population survey. For the past two years I’ve been reviewing trail cam footage around the campus for what kinds of animals live on campus.”
His eyebrows raise, “you started research as a sophomore?”
“Yeah, I set up the trail cameras in August that year. They’re in the more woodsy parts of campus or areas where there’s freshwater like the fountains.”
“So you have to view thousands of hours of camera footage?” He sounded genuinely interested in your project, a response you hardly received.
You laugh, “no, it’s motion activated. But it’s still a lot to comb through.”
“If you ever want any company while you do it, I could bring some of my coding assignments and we could just work together.”
You’re about to tell him you’d love to, when the waitress comes by, taking everyone’s drink orders and dropping off chips, salsa, and queso. Cassian, who had been grumbling about how hungry he was, gives his drink order through a mouthful of chips.
After you ask her for a water and a soda, you tell Az, “I’d love that.”
Cassian pulls you into a conversation between himself and Mor, but you do catch a glimpse of the little smile Azriel gives you as you tell Cassian about the time Mor streaked across the football field during a game in high school.
The dinner is fun, made even moreso by Mor picking up the check. You all wish a Mor good night as you head back to Feyre’s car. Once the doors to the restaurant open, Rhys and Cassian yell out, “shotgun,” at the same time, and both begin sprinting to Feyre’s car, pushing each other as they run.
The three of them trudge ahead of you and Azriel, as you two walk in step next to each other. He pulls out his phone, his screen lighting up his face in the night. He turns his phone to you, an empty contact page facing you.
“I-uh just realized I don’t have your number,” he swallows hard, looking down at his phone, watching as your fingers gently grab his phone and begin typing.
He watches you click ‘send message’, watching you type something out before handing it back to him. He chuckles as he reads the message you sent yourself.
Az: oh beautiful, stunning, wonderful woman, thank you for blessing me with your phone number
His phone vibrates in his hand as your response comes through.
You: oh, Az. Flattery will get you very far.

the thought of reader teaching peacekeeper!coryo how to eat pussy and please her because he’s a selfish lover and never done it before !! at first he was hesitant at the idea but when his sweet gf cums he just wants to watch her do it all day - please blurb this PLEASE 😫😫
nsfw | mdni | fem!reader | oral (f)
you and coryo hadn’t really done much in regards to being sexual with one another. more often than not, peacekeeper snow only came to you when he needed a quick blowjob. and honestly, you were quite sick of it. you need relief too! so when coryo had come to your home late one night asking for a blowjob, you said no.
“what?” he asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
“i’m not going to give you a blowjob until you can make me cum, coryo,” you said, rolling your eyes.
coryo frowned, realizing the position he was in. really, all he wanted was head. you’re the only girl in district 12 that he didn’t find repulsive so he only went to you for his own sexual pleasure. but if you’re requesting you be pleasured too then if he wants to keep getting head, then perhaps he should make you cum. but he wasn’t too open about the idea of eating you out. weren’t vaginas gross?
well he didn’t quite know, truthfully. blowjobs are the farthest he’s gone with a woman. he’s never eaten anyone out before nor has he fingered someone.
coriolanus sighed. “how shall i make you cum?”
“eat me out.” you replied, shrugging your shoulders.
coriolanus mentally cursed himself. “just shut up and suck my cock.” he said, rolling his eyes.
you scoffed. “no,” you said back. “i’m not touching your cock until you’ve made me cum,” you exclaimed.
coriolanus bit the inside of his cheek, annoyed by your behavior. of course this would happen. he rolled his eyes once more before finally replying. “fine.”
you grinned, taking a seat on your bed. you grabbed your panties, pulling them down and tossing them to the side. “well, get to it private snow,” you said, spreading your legs for coriolanus.
looking at your glistening pussy in front of him, coriolanus couldn’t help that his cock instantly hardened. coriolanus swallowed, dropping to his knees in front of you with a hand on your thigh. he looked down at your pretty pussy before looking back up at you. “what would you like me to do first?” he asked.
you tilted your head. “have you ever eaten a woman out, coriolanus?”
coryo hesitated to respond. he could lie and say he has or he could tell the truth. regardless, he would seem weak and pathetic. eventually, he shook his head no.
and in return you smirked. but you didn’t say anything that indicated you judging him. so coriolanus took that as a good sign. so you guided coriolanus through it. you told him about licking a strip up your cunt and about wear the clit was, how his tongue may dip into your hole and it will feel good.
coriolanus listened carefully, taking in all of that information before putting it into practice. he tentatively licked a strip up your cunt. your juices were foreign on his tongue, very different. but not entirely bad at all. though he wasn’t willing to admit that at all. coriolanus brought his tongue over to your clit, teasing the nub with the tip of his tongue.
you let out a soft whimper, looking down at coryo. his eyes were looking up at you as he teased you with his tongue. coriolanus then brought his lips around your clit, sucking on it. you moaned, bringing a hand to his head.
and that’s when coriolanus realized he liked it. being able to make you feel good, there’s a power to that. he began eating you out properly, making you realize that coryo was indeed a fast learner. his face was buried in your cunt, making you whine and moan. he dipped his tongue into your hole, his nose rubbing against your clit.
your orgasm hit you hard and fast, causing you to clench your thighs around coriolanus’s face. and oh my god was coriolanus in heaven. but rather than stopping after you finished, coryo continued, eating you out messily as his tongue continued its attack on your cunt.
you were whining from the overstimulation but you absolutely adored it. because coriolanus truly was a natural at it. and clearly, coriolanus was enjoying it too judging by the fact that he was rutting against your mattress.
it was safe to say that it quickly because coryo’s favorite thing.

Summary: When there is a need for supplies, a select group goes to the city. Shane and you are forced to be together. How will this play out? Will you find a way out savely out of the city with the others? [series]
Tumblr media
Shane slammed his hand on the hood, alarming everyone they were set to ride. Rick kissed Lori goodbye and gave Carl a hug before joining Shane by the car. Glenn already stood by it, wanting to drive. Shane came standing before him with a glare. Glenn swallowed nervously getting the hint. He moved to the backseat as Shane got in the front. Rick joined Shane on the other side. Daryl was by his motorcycle with Carol. Carol was speaking to him, telling him to be careful.
He listened half, finding her motherly concern a bit overrated. You tossed an empty bag in the trunk, shutting it. You were about to get into the car when Daryl whistled loud. It made you look back at him, seeing him ask you over. Smiling, you went up to Daryl. The car door opened as Shane set one foot out, standing up. – “In the car!” – he ordered. – “She’s riding with me!” – Daryl called back.
“Y/n! the car!” – he made clear. Daryl let the engine roar of his motorcycle to overpower Shane’s overrule. You went over to Daryl anyways, grabbing his back as you swung your leg over the motorcycle. Shane puffed annoyed getting back in the car. Your hands were on Daryl as he took them, wrapping them tighter and closer to the front around him.
Daryl rode off, passing by the car. Shane easily caught up with him, riding past him. Shane then slowed a bit down so Daryl and you were still close by. Daryl wasn’t speeding much to not attract any walkers with the noise of the motor. You were leaning against his back, watching the trees pass till it would eventually make way for the highway. – “Hey Y/n.” – Daryl said catching your attention. It made you lift your head up from against his back. – “Yeah?” – you answered.
Daryl turned the steering a bit, getting closer to the woods as you were confused to what he was doing. – “How about a little detour?” – he chuckled out. – “Daryl!” – you called out slapping him against his back. Daryl steered back to the middle of the road where the car drove a few meters up front. – “Shane would go feral.” – you told him. – “I don’t care.” – Daryl answered back.
“Yeah cause having him drive after us like a maniac with Glenn and my brother in the car is so thrilling.” – you teased with a roll of your eyes. Daryl chuckled already picturing it. – “It’s not funny!” – you called out giving him another slap against his shoulder.
Wrapping your arms tighter around him, you snuggled closer against him. – “Just enjoy this.” – you mumbled out. Daryl kept tailing the car till they made it up to the highway. There they started to speed up knowing they had to have daylight at their side. If they would be stuck in the city by night, it would be hell. By the edge of the city, they parked. Not wanting to attract the walkers that roamed the city. Their city now. Fallen a few years ago.
You got off Daryl’s bike as he held you in place by taking your wrist. You turned confused at him. Daryl pulled out a gun, putting it in your hands while his gaze was on Shane up ahead with the car. – “I don’t want my girl to be unarmed.” – he told you, pushing your hand closer to your body. You turned your back to the car, putting the gun away out of eye’s way.
Daryl knew Shane would never let you have a gun. It was even a surprise that were allowed on this run for supplies. You leaned down resting your arm over his shoulder. – “I always have you to save my ass.” – you told him smirking. Daryl inhaled deep bringing his hand on your back down to your bottom. – “A fine one too.” – he answered making you snort.
Daryl and you kissed quick before he got off his motorcycle. You went over to Glenn, taking an empty bag from as well. Glenn stepped away when he saw Rick approach you. – “Nervous brother?” – you asked when he slid his arm over your shoulder. – “Only for you.” – he responded. – “I’ll be fine. I’ve dealt with walkers more than you.” – you laughed out patting him against his cheek.
Rick chuckled giving you a little shove. – “Hey you’re the newbie here.” – you teased giving him a bump with your hip. Shane came walking around you and Rick having a little comment to say. – “Try not to scream at a walker Y/n.” – he said making you smile sarcastically back at him. You left Rick’s side going after Shane wanting to reply to that. – “Try keeping him alive now.” – you commented hinting your brother.
Shane’s eyes widened briefly but before he could reply, you had joined the others. – “Here you go.” – Glenn said offering you a machete. You accepted it, looking over at Daryl. You didn’t think you would be given a weapon. You then looked over to Shane, wanting to see what he would do about it. He didn’t comment on it, so you got to keep the machete.
Glenn took the lead as he knew some good routes to a nearby store. Daryl and you walked at the back, keeping a good eye on your behinds. The streets were silent. Papers and trash scattered around. Some moving with the wind. Glenn stopped at the front of an alleyway that led up to the main road. Shane and Rick right behind him. Daryl turned his back at you, holding his crossbow up to the other end of the alley in case one would dare to sneak up.
Glenn overlooked the main road, seeing some walkers stand mindlessly still. Some wandering a bit at the slowest pace. Almost unactive from not having eaten so long. – “And?” – Shane asked keeping his voice low. – “It’s a risk.” – he answered seeing a walker sniff the air, making him pull back into he alleyway. – “The stores are up ahead across this street. I don’t think we can make it across unnoticed.” – Glenn spoke lowly looking at Rick and you.
“What if we distract them with noise?” – you suggested making everyone look at you. – “This way we’ll clear the road for you all to cross.” – you finished. – “And who are you suggesting to sacrifice themselves?” – Shane asked with crossed arms.
“It’s not a sacrifice if you do it right.” – you replied with a glare. Shane puffed loud. He then pushed Glenn forwards amidst you all. – “He’ll go.” – he put up. Glenn stared angry at him. – “No, Glenn is the fastest runner, besides he knows the place.” – you countered, backing Glenn up. – “I’ll do it.” – you proposed. – “Y/n no!” – Rick let out, shaking his head. – “It’s not up for discussion.” – you told your brother. Daryl joined having been on guard the entire time. – “I’m coming too.” – he said.
Shane shook his head, pinching his nose bridge. – “We need focus, not more distractions.” – Shane let out. Daryl came up to Shane. – “You got a problem?” – he asked. Shane puffed up his chest to appear larger. – “Enough!” – you shout-whispered coming in between them. Now was not the time and place to argue and fight.
“I don’t care who comes with me, but if we stay here any longer there will be an army of walkers feasting on our flesh!” – you said frustrated. Shane grabbed you by the elbow, pulling you away. Apparently he was coming with you. Daryl wanted to go after you but Rick held him back. – “We have to be ready when they clear the road.” – Rick told him.
You pushed Shane’s hand off you. The two of you rounded the back of some abandoned houses. Shane knocked some wooden planks off that boarded up the broken windows. – “After you.” – he said gloating. It made you roll your eyes. You gave him a little shove out of the way so that you could crawl through the window. Shane got in after you. With his gun up, he sneaked through the dark room to scout for any walkers.
You heard some faint groaning sounds walking up to it. Amidst the rubble was a walker. Stuck underneath parts of the ceiling that had crumbled down. The walker started to groan louder, reaching out to you to grab. You stood in front of it, shoving your machete down in it’s head. Giving it a twist so it surely was dead. Shane found one as well stuck as he knelt down, taking out his knife.
He stabbed it in the head. Blood spattering up. Shane wiped his knife clean on the walker’s dress. Shane and you rejoined in the middle of the room. – “All clear.” – he said making you nod. The two of you started to search for something to cause noise. – “What do you see in him anyways?” – Shane asked from across the room, going through some stuff.
“You mean what don’t I see in you?” – you responded back. Shane’s eyes widened brief, stopping his search, caught off guard. You came over to him. – “That’s what you want right? For many years now.” – you added finding something useful in a dusted box. An football horn, you so hoped still worked, but didn’t want to test out now. You showed Shane the horn as he came over to you.
Grabbing you tight by your arms. The way he stared at you, made you feel uneasy. His hard stare with that struggle deep inside of him. For a moment you thought he was going to kiss you forcefully. Having wanted nothing more. Ever since you were teens perhaps. The making fun of you, the teasing, always coming around.
It was clear now that he liked you but never dared to show it openly because of your brother. Now that he was older, his methods might have become more violent. Cursing at you and threating you bad just because he knew he never had a chance with you.
“What are you going to do.” – you dared him feeling him squeeze your arms tighter. – “Why can’t you just…” – Shane began nearing with his face. It made you gulp, thinking he might actually kiss you now. He kept coming closer with his face as it made you turn your head away. Shane’s forehead came in contact with your side as he shut his eyes hard. Then he tore himself away, taking the horn from you.
Letting out a loud breath, your heart was pounding. This could’ve taken a different direction. You followed Shane back out of the broken window. Jogging after him, you went further down the street to head into one of the next alleyways. Shane looked around and spotted a few cars parked in the middle of the road. He ran over to it, you right behind him.
Shane got up on the car, standing on the roof. He pressed on the horn as it let out a loud sound. Shit you thought, opening the car door and trying to see if the car worked. The walkers were alarmed. Groaning and calling it out as they collectively all turned towards the sounds. Shane horned again and long to lure them over. You kept turning the key, trying to start the car.
Looking briefly through the window, you saw the others carefully look before running across. This car was no use as you got out and went over to another car. Shane horned again, firing at some walkers that were coming near. Anxiously you were trying to start the next car. It was great that all the walkers were coming your way, but you still needed to escape. This car wasn’t working as well as you got back out and checked the hood. The engine stolen.
“Shane!” – you called out. Shane turned his head to you. – “None of them start!” – you yelled at him. Shane aimed his gun your way as you thought for a moment he was going to shoot you. His gun fired making you jump out of your skin. Then you heard a body drop to the ground. Looking over your shoulder you saw a walker down.
Gasping loud, you saw more walkers come from alleyways or hit their heads against glass to get to the noise. With no other way out, you climbed on the roof of the car with Shane. Taking out the gun Daryl had given you. You noticed Shane taking a moment to stare with wide eyes at it. – “Shut up.” – you said not wanting to hear complaints.
Some walkers were below at the car, swaying their arms around to grab for your feet. You started shooting at them. Each hit right through their skull. Shane blew the horn again luring more walkers to you. A walker threw himself on the hood, snapping his mouth around. Shane moved his arm over your shoulder, shooting at him. You shot a few by the trunk as their dark blood splashed the car. The space on the roof was just manageable for two if you didn’t move too much. You gulped feeling a hand grab at your ankle.
You felt yourself slip back off the roof. Before you could fall down reacted Shane. He had taken a hold of your wrist, holding you in place as your back dangled over the walkers. He pulled at your wrist, pulling up against his chest. With an arm around you, he continued to shoot around. Your heart was pounding still trying to recover from your almost fall.
The walkers were snapping their jaws at you and swaying their arms around. Gurgling loud with their calls. You so hoped they raided the place quick. Not sure how much longer you could hold them off. You fired at them one by one. They dropped down like flies but kept coming closer in tenfold. Shane stepped on a walker’s fingers as they reached the roof.
“Give me that horn.” – you told Shane. He gave it to you as you took a hairband from your wrist. You pressed the horn in, wrapping the hairband around it so it kept blowing. You were about to throw it away yourself, but offered it to Shane instead, knowing he might throw further than you. Shane accepted the blowing horn from you, throwing it further down the street. Some walkers were drawn to it that hadn’t smelled your flesh yet.
The others staid around the car, snapping beastly at the two of you. Shane and you fired at the remaining one’s. You furrowed your brows seeing a walker slide down the car side with an arrow in his head. Looking up, you saw Daryl, Glenn and your brother up ahead. They had come back from their raid. Rick was shooting as well, clearing a way for the two of you.
Walkers dropped down lifeless with each hit. Shane jumped off the roof first. You jumped after him, falling through your knees. Shane jerked you up by your arm. He then started running with you. The two of you met up with the others as Shane let go of you. You ran straight in Daryl’s arms, hugging him tight. Daryl exhaled relieved, hugging you back.
“Let’s go.” – Glenn called out knowing more would come soon. The five of you started to run back towards the alleyway. You were hallway through when a few walkers appeared on the other end. It made Glenn stop, you bumping against his back. – “Go back.” – he called out as you already turned around. Shane took about a few steps before he stopped. From the other side walkers now as well. They were closing in, having cut off your escape routes. – “Up!” – Rick called out seeing a ladder hanging a few feet above the ground.
Rick grabbed you, picking you up for you to reach the ladder. You grabbed it, pulling yourself up by your hands before your feet could touch the first step. After you, Rick helped Glenn up. Daryl didn’t need any help as he jumped grabbing the first step with his hands. Rick and Shane joined last climbing up to the roof. Up, you helped Glenn from the ladder.
Daryl, Rick and Shane joining moments later. Glenn looked down the alleyway, seeing the walkers cramped up together, arms up trying to grab for you all out of reach. – “How are we going to get to the car now?” – Glenn panicked with his hands in his hair. Rick stood by the edge, overlooking the town from above.
You looked around the rooftop trying to look for a way out. Daryl joined your side, pulling you closer to him for a moment. Over his shoulder, he glanced at Shane close to Rick. Wondering what had occurred when he wasn’t near. You checked your gun, seeing how many bullets you had left. It wasn’t enough, perhaps to kill a few walkers. Rick whistled loud to round you up. – “We either wait for it to calm down or we take a risk.” – Rick suggested.
“If we wait they’ll just keep roaming below mindlessly cause nothing attracts them anymore.” – Glenn answered. – “Glenn’s got a point.” – Daryl spoke in agreement. The five of you set out to look around the roof top for anything useful. You neared the side of the roof towards the back, feeling that the foundation beneath your feet didn’t feel stable.
Rick was nearing as you stopped him. – “Stop!” – you called out, standing completely still. Rick stopped confused, setting his foot back. – “It’s unstable.” – you explained standing in the middle of it. This part of the roof probably rotten from damp and rain. It wasn’t sturdy cement. The others neared as well, standing by Rick.
You tried to set a foot down back towards them, but felt the foundation crack underneath you. – “Careful.” – Glenn called out. Perhaps if you ran, you could outrun it crumbling away. Eyes locked on Daryl, he knew what you were going to do. He nodded holding his hands out to catch you if he needed too.
You started running towards him, feeling the foundation crack underneath you. The foundation sunk below you, making you leap for Daryl. Daryl sucked in a breath holding his arms further up to you. Your hand touched his hand, swiping down it as he couldn’t catch you in time.
The foundation gave way beneath you, getting sucked into the building. – “Noooo!” – Daryl called out as you screamed loud, disappearing into the gaping black hole. Swallowed by the gaping gap left by the rotten foundation. Your back hit the ground, leaving you in complete darkness.

SHE'S BACK
[THE BATFAMILY SERIES]
Summary: a few months ago Y/N left for university, leaving her family to begin something new, but now she's back.
Word count: 3621
Warnings: mild swearing, (not proof read)
"And there it is..." Y/N muttered, shutting the door of the taxi behind her, slinging her duffel bag over her right shoulder with an exaggerated huff. Her bright orbs trailed over the manor before her, wavering over the vines that travelled up the sides of the building and momentarily glancing at the windows which had no source of light seeping through. To be honest it wouldnt be expected at this hour, it had just turned four o'clock, in the morning that is. "My humble abode."
The girl walked up the pathway, hopping up the steps of the front porch area. Her left hand slid into the pocket of her jacket to pull out a worn metal key, slotting it into the hole in the dark oak door, she wiggled it slightly smiling once she heard the churning of the locks before an audiable click sounded into the silence of the night.
Pushing down onto the silver handle, sighing in relief when the warmth of her childhood home hit her right in the face. She had missed being at the manor, she missed everyone she had left behind- not purposely. In the early summer, a year ago to this day she had recieved a letter from one of the biggest universities globally, it was one of the best ones around- at first she hadn't at all planned on leaving, not wanting to leave her father, her grand-father figure and her brothers behind.
Her youngest brother Damian ended up finding the letter when he was snooping through her room one night, she told him plenty of times that he wasnt allowed to do that but he didnt seem to understand privacy nor did he bother to listen to anything he is told to do. The next day Damian took the letter to bruce and informed him about how she had been accepted.
When she was confronted about it- basically being cornered on the couch by not only her father and youngest brother but also her other three brothers and the family friend Alfred who worked as the butler in Wayne manor, she was eventually persuaded to take the offer after denying and pushing it off many times, the others had told her that it was a once in a life time opportunity that she couldnt give up and assured her that they would be perfectly fine without her, which wasnt exactly a lie, though there were some struggles once she left.
Bruce had gotten so used to the morning visits from his daughter, it was the sake routine running- he would get a knock at his office door, not even being able to respond before the door was opened in in walks Y/N in all her glory, a tray full of food in her hand that also with held a glass of orange juice, without pulp just the way he liked it. Then he would get a mini lecture from her where she tells him how it's important that he doesnt over work himself and that he gets a break or how he shouldnt skip meals because it wasnt good for his health. He always got annoyed at this but when she was gone, he sure did find how much he missed her.
Alfred had taken her leave better than the others, of course he did but that didnt mean he didnt miss her. The butler had been in her life ever since she was just a small child, they had a kind of tradition where they would bake once a week and test out making new baked goods, sometimes it went awfully wrong but that didnt stop the fun, it was a laugh.
Dick was only older than her by a couple of years, he didnt like the fact that his, what he liked to call 'baby sister' was venturing off into the big wide world, he knew that nowhere was safe no matter how nice it looks but he had to trust that she could look after herself and although he had seen her fighting in action many times, he still couldnt come to face the fact that she could always help herself, he was her protector and no matter what she said he would always be there to protect her.
Jason was her first younger brother, he looked up to Y/N alot and was worried that she would forget about him when she left, she was one of the few people he didnt want to loose and now she would hours away from him, not being there to 'annoy' him and be on his back 24/7. Tim knew that this was what's best for his older sister, she would be able to succeed and achieve what she needed to in order to create the best life for herself, he missed her but he knew this was what's best for her.
Now Damian had made it look like he wasnt at all bothered or affected by the fact his oldest half-blood sister was leaving but deep down her really was. Nobody knew that ever since she left he would sneak off to sleep in her room at night and cuddle up to her teddy bear that still slightly held her citrus scent- atleast he hoped nobody noticed. He respected her, she was always there even when he didnt need her and he had only just gotten used to her being around that now he was at a lost without her.
Y/N's eyes squinted, closing the door slowly behind her as not to make any loud sound. She looked to the end of the open hallway, smirking when she noticed the kitching light was on. That only meant one thing, she wouldnt have expected any less from Alfred, he was always the first one to be awake in the house, it was like he didnt need sleep- when she was younger she thought that he was some kind of metahuman or alien. It's funny if you think about it.
She strolled towards the opening to the kitching, peering through, eyes meeting the butlers back as he was turned away from her. She smiled to herself, coughing lowly making Alfred spin on his heel, hand coming up to his chest subtly, eyes wide when he spotted the girl.
"Miss Y/N. What are you doing here?"
"Its winter break, decided to come home. Kinda missed this place." The duffel bag slid from her shoulder, slumping to the ground. She rushed forwards and embraced the man in a much needed hug, he chuckled light heartedly returning the gesture, patting at her back.
"You could have given me a heart attack." They pulled away from one another, Y/N letting out a laugh at his statement while his face turned stern, arms coming up to cross among his chest.
"Your an old man Alfie, they might get more frequent." She laughed harder, hands clutching at her stomach. The butler rolled his eyes, shaking his head at the girls antics, this would be one things he hadn't missed, her humor and comments. The girl looked up immediately letting her laughter die down when she spotted the look on his face. "I'm joking, I'm joking."
"It's a pleasure to have you back Miss Y/N." A smile broke out onto his features, one just as sincere being returned.
After her interaction with Alfred she picked up her duffel bag and lazily threw it over her shoulder, making her way out into the wide hallway and towards the stairs. She hopped up the in a rhymatic motion, skipping a couple steps ever now and again- making it to the top she spotted her room, the one she had accustomed since she was a child, the door was open ajar, a hint of light passing through the gaps.
Her eyes squinted slightly, a small smile crossing her features.
She crept towards the room, pushing the door open- eyes immediately trailing over the navy walls that were covered in band posters and paintings she had created herself. Her Y/E/C orbs landed on her bed, which had an odd lump in the centre, her brows creased as she let her bad slide from her shoulder and plop to the ground before making her way to stand beside her bed.
Out-stretching her hand, she grasped at the corner of the dark sheets, tugging it back to reveal her youngest brother curled up in a fetal position, arms wrapped tightly around her Teddy bear.
"Oh Dami." Y/N chuckled, sitting down on the edge of her bed gently as if not to wake the boy. She reached out a hand, gliding it through his dark spiky locks, humming in content when she felt him move under her touch, leaning up into her hand, she grinned whispering- "Not so big and bad after all huh?"
She watched as he stretched out, eyes peeling open to show off his ocean blues. At first he seemed to still be in a half-asleep state, eyes wandering around until they set on his older sister, widening in surprise as his body jolted up from the bed, scooting backwards away from her for a split second, hands coming up to rub at his eyes.
"Y/N?" His voice croaked hoarsly. "W-when did you get back?"
"Hmmm." She looked down at her wrist, eyes oogling at the watch that layed on her lean wrist. "Arrived in the city about an hour or so ago, got here say twenty minutes ago."
"I-I..." Damian stuttered, internally debating whether or not he should hug her- he had missed her dearly, not at all wanting to show it as he had a reputation to uphold but he hadn't seen her for what felt like forever- to her utter surprise his smaller form launched at her, arms wrapping around her shoulders, head snuggling into the crevice of her neck. "I-I urm- I missed you."
"I missed you too Dami." Her arms wrapped around him, pulling his body closer to her own, near to the point he was sitting in her lap. A few seconds passed, a nice and peaceful silence falling between the two, the girl ended up pulling back to look down at the boy who had a ghost of a smile tugging at his lips- which was indeed rare. "Aw Dami, you miss me so much to give me a little smile."
"Tch, in your dreams Wayne."
"Not at all have you changed but I guess I wouldnt have you any other way." She pulled him back in, placing kisses around his face to which he tried struggling away from her, making laughs erupt in her throat at his reaction to her teasing.
"Get off of me!" Damian pushed ta her shoulder, a loud thump sounding in the room when she ended up falling to the floor from the impact while he boy stayed on the bed, on his stomach as his head dangled from the edge.
"Ouch." Her laughing ceased, arm crossing over her chest to lay a hand hand on her now throbbing shoulder.
The sound of Y/N falling from the bed, caught the attention of the lightest of sleepers within the house- The girl stared at her youngest brother, eyes squinted, brows furrowed and mouth a gape. As she went to stand up, the sound of her door creaking open caught both of the siblings attention, Y/N again falling back to the floor.
"What's with all the-" In walked the eldest adopted son, fisted hands rubbing at his eyes as he let out a longing yawn- his sleepy demina instantly switching to a more lively source of emotion when he spotted his 'little' sister sitting on the floor, hand clutching at her still throbbing shoulder. "Y/N?!"
Dick launched himself forwards, hands reaching down and clutching to her arms before her pulled her up into his embrace to which she let out a slight yelp at the rushed movement, harshly being lifted from the carpeted floor.
Oh how he had missed his sister, she was always on his mind- he tended to worry about her alot and had actually at some point contemplated driving to the university to snatch her up and drive her back home where she would be in his sight at all times, though in reality it would be him clinging to her and definetly not the other way round.
"D-dick. Air. I need air." Y/N stuttered, hand patting at his bicep. The male instantly let go, holding her at arms length, letting his eyes skim and check her over. A giant grin etching over his features as he pulled her back in to give her one last squeeze before letting go. "Damn do you have a strong grip boy."
"Dont you 'boy' me. What happened to answering my calls, hmm?" Dicks hands came to rest on his hips, his foot tapping on the floor impatiently. Y/N could only look up at him in confusion, her mind going to only a day ago when she last spoke to him.
"I-I spoke to you yesterday morning."
"What about last night, I called before patrol." He consulted further, eyeing the girl up and down as she scoffed out a chuckle.
"Oh yeah silly me, I'm not aloud to sleep now. I thought this was a free country." She rolled her eyes, shooting damian one last glare before storming towards her door, walking out into the dark halls of the manor making a beeline for the door to the left hand side of her room, barging inside like she owned the place.
There she spotted a bed, in the middle layed a slight bump under the covers, a tuft of raven hair showing from the corner as light snores echoed the room. Y/N grinned curtly, waltzing over towards the bed where she pulled the covers down slowly, humming at the content look that plagued her younger brothers face in this vulnerable state- it was a rare sight indeed, for Jason to look so calm and collected, he always carried this cold and hard exterior, he liked it that way and had been the same ever since she could remember.
"Jay..." she coo'd, one hand reaching out to run through his hair lightly, in an almost motherly way. He let out a low groan in response, turning his head to the side to burrow into his pillow away from the touch so he was able to get back to his slumber.
"Five more minutes Y/N/N, s'too early." Y/N rose an eyebrow at the boys antic, pursing her lips when she felt him tense, halting his sleepy movement. His body suddenly turned fully towards the girl, him still laying on his side as he stared up at her wide eyed. "Y/N?!"
"Hiyah Jay." His lips twitched when he noticed she was really there, his arms slanting behind him so he could push himself up and against his head bored, hands rubbing at his face and ruffling his hair.
"Si-(yawn)-nce when were you back?" He croaked, looking at his sister with tired eyes although a now lazy smile hooked his lips. He reached out an arm, bending it at the meltdown around the back of her neck to pull her into his side making her chuckle and push against his torso to get away from his hold, accepting defeat when he kept her beneath his arm, a loose strand of hair falling in her eyes to which she blew at.
"Missed you too." The girl grumbled, poking his ribs. "Got back earlier this morning."
"Such a softie." A voice echoed from the doorway making the siblings heads turn to see Dick and Damian standing there. Damian had his arms crossed with an eyebrow raised, his face contorted into his usual sour tone and Dich held a hand to his chest teasingly, wiggling the fingers of his other hand towards Jason who scowled and pushed Y/N away.
"Shut the fuck up Dickwad." Jason growled lowly, standing from his bed and stretching with an audiable hum and groan in relief at the stretch of his achy muscles.
"Hey, wheres Tim?" Y/N questioned looking towards the eldest who shrugged, looking down to the youngest who tutted, rolling his eyes in an obvious sign of annoyance.
"Probably in the cave, may aswell live there at this point." Damian pushed off the door frame, putting his weight onto his left side, hand coming to be placed on his right hip as he nodded behind him in ignition for his sister to follow him.
"You do know I know where the cave is, right Dami?" She laughed, walking towards him watching as he turned on his heel and stormed away with a huff. She stayed standing on the spot for a second with a blank look on her face before blinking with a shake of her head and speeding in the same direction Damian had.
She walked down the dark hall, turning at the stairwell where she spotted the spiky haired broody boy standing at the bottom with the same sour look on his face. Also taking note of the pattered steps of her two other brothers behind her as they followed along. She sped down the oak steps, hopping down the last two with a smile as she turned to Damian who looked to have already turned and started walking towards the knight statue in the corner of the foyer.
He pulled down on the arm, waiting for the bookshelf to move away from the wall to reveal the circular gap where another stairway was seen, leading down into the infamous batcave. He lead the three down the length of the opening, and into the main area where a couple of couches could be seen around the coffee table in the dimly lit room and in the centre at the back near the jhettbrick walls was a podium where a whole computer and tech system was located.
In the chair was a lean body, hunched over the desktop.
"Hey replacement?!" Jason's voice boomed, echoing through the cave- said boy jumped from his seat, falling to the floor with a pained groan and a bunch of curses.
"Jason Peter Todd!" Y/N turned to slap at the boy, hitting his chest then his arm and then the side of his head. Jason jumped back, arms coming up to shield himself from her as he grumbled. With one last glare sent in Jason's direction, she pointed at him sternly, turning on her heel to look at the boy on the floor, staggering her way up the small slope to crouch down by him, placing a hand on his back.
"Hmmm wha-" Tim's head lifted slightly, his eyes being blocked by the loose strains of dark locks that had fallen down messily, one of his hands swiping them away to allow him to see his surrounding clearly, though all he could actually see was his sister, who he hadn't seen in what felt like a lifetime. "Y-Y/N."
"You alright Timbo?" And within seconds she was taken back by him shooting up to wrap her in a hug, his head resting tightly on her shoulder, hands grasping at her jacket.
"Your back." He whispered, trying to move more into her embrace, near enough sitting in her lap.
"Yes Tim I'm back." She breathed out, giving him a final squeeze as she pulled away, holding him by the shoulders at arms length giving him a full serious look. "And what did I say about looking after yourself Hm?"
"I-I well I-urmm..." under the harsh gaze he stuttered, looking towards the ground guiltily, scratching at the back of his head muttering out a 'sorry'.
"Mhm, well I suppose I can forgive you." She squinted her Y/E/C eyes, piercing through the boys shard ocean blues but couldnt hold the cold, stern look for any longer, letting a large smile break onto her face, messing his hair up with her hand before pushing his head away gently. "Seriously though, are you okay? You took quite the fall there."
"Y-yeah I'm good." He smiled.
"Good now i just gotta find-" she hauled herself up from the floor, dusting off her trousers, spinning to face the others only to find a familiar face staring right back at her, the boys standing behind the figure. "Dad."
"Y/N." He sent her a half smile, eyes following as she rushed over towards him, hurling her smaller form into his bigger one, arms wrapping around his waist to which he returned only his were placed around her shoulders, one hand resting on the back of her head. A singular tear slipped down her cheek as she nestled her head further into her fathers chest, she felt his chin atop her head, as he squeezed ever so slightly she could hardly feel the move. "You've grown."
"Y-yeah. I couldnt stay small forever." She stood away from him, hands clasping infront of her as she chuckled. "I was only gone for a few months."
"A few months?!" Dicks voice suddenly tuned through, going from his normal tone to a high pitched one as he dramatically pushed by Bruce and took Y/N's face in his hands, looking at her intently, orbs switching between each of her features. "No no no- A few months too long. It felt like forever!"
"Get off of me." She slapped at his hand, scowling up at the taller male. "Always the dramatics with you. I'm back now arent I?"

CAL AND ANDRE HEADCANONS! Finally! I feel like there's some I have already said b4, but idk. Enjoy!
⚠️Triggers⚠️: SA, SH
- Andre furrowed his brows when he was concentrated, Cal poked his tongue out
- Andre was actually a great student. That's why most of the people didn't like him either, whether being because of envy or because they saw him as a nerd and annoying. But bro had +A on everything
- Cal on the other hand, was pathetic at studies. His best ever grade was a C
- They didn't actually hold hands most of the time, just intertwine pinkies unconsciously
-Cal always followed andre everywhere. It was not even a conscious act.
- They both talked shit abt their siblings
- Andre=bpd + psicopathy
- Cal= adhd + depression (duh).
- Andre paid attention on the smallest details and had rlly good memory. Like, something stupid Cal said years ago, andre remembered it like it was yesterday. Or he knew what things Cal liked or not, even if Cal hasn't told him, he knew it because he paid attention to what Cal was doing
- Cal was a chronic nail biter. Rachel tried putting nail polish on him to make it better, because Cal reached the point where his whole finger was covered in blood
-Cal has had many addictions in his life. It was all because his depression, he couldn't get happiness (dopamine) in anything in his life so he tried to get it somewhere else. That's why he started doing weed at a young age, well, until the possession charge. After that, he went straight to cutting. It wasn't as good as to get high, but at least it worked and wasn't illegal. He used to get blackout drunk too, trying to get dopamine from where he could.
- U can't tell me they didn't explore each other's bodies. Ofc they did (I like to think they would refer to that as "favors"), but they never rlly knew what the fuck they were. Were they boyfriends? Were they just friends with benefits? That's actually where the term "the army of two" appeared, trying to give what they had a tag or a "name". But they knew rlly well they weren't just friends. They knew each other too much, they were too similar and too connected to be just friends.
- Cal was sa'd from when he was 7 years old until he was 14 by his cousin, who was 8 years older than him. He never told anything to anyone, not even Andre, but he eventually figured it out. He was paranoid and very protective with his siblings (even though he didn't like them, it doesn't mean that they weren't siblings, Cal cared for them a lot), making sure his cousin NEVER approached them. And if someone older talked to them he would get rlly anxious and freaked out.
- Andre always cared too much about Cal. He knew the state of Cal's mental health and physical health (anemic ass) so he always was there for him. And I like to think not only andre, but his family too. Feeding him until Cal couldn't physically bring the fork to his mouth (I'm sure Andre's mom would be the one to say: "Cal, you have to eat more! You're so thin!")
- Andre was not always seen with the Gabriel's (because Cal's sister HATES andre with all her guts) but Calvin was ALWAYS seen with the kriegman's. Andre's dad always knew that when he mentioned "family vacation/trip", Cal was tagging along.
-Cal learned to stay calm when Andre had his bpd splits (extreme anger most of the time). There was a time when he actually felt rlly bad when Andre said what things to him or just screamed and pushed him around, but as time passed, he learned it was just another normal thing on Andre. That's why in the car scene, he at first didn't take him seriously, he then shut the fuck up and tried to get out of the situation as quickly as he could afterwards.
- Andre never really knew what the fuck was wrong with him. He wasn't like Cal, he didn't get diagnosed with shit and didn't even went to a psychologist. He thought he was just really aggressive and nothing more.
- Andre was low-key an alcoholic. He never got blackout drunk though
- The only thing Andre didn't clean, was his car. Maybe once in a month (or a week if there where a lot of empty beer cans in the back seats)
- Cal rlly liked sour candies.
- Andre slept A LOT.
- idk if I said this b4 but Andre's hand was always on Cal's thigh while he drove
- most of their hangouts were sleepovers. They seriously couldn't live without each other
- OF COURSE the reason why andre didn't like Rachel it's because he was EXTREMELY jealous of her. He felt like she was taking Cal away from him. He also felt that she talked shit about Cal when he wasn't there. The night Cal ditched Rachel for him, Andre's ego was 100% fueled
- Andre had migraines. Yeah. He didn't throw up though
- Following, andre NEVER puked. Like, he probably just threw up 1 time in his life. Cal on the other hand, every time he got sick, he vomited.
-Cal ALWAYS forgot his things EVERYWHERE. His parents didn't even make him his own keys, because they knew Cal would probably lose them too.
- As kids, Cal adored sharks and Andre lions and bears. (Cal adored sharks all his life though)
- Andre's grandparents who lived in Germany, had a bigass house with a garden. They had ALSO, a bigass dog. Of course Andre as a kid spent most of the time in the garden, playing with his brother and the dog.
- The only thing that made Andre calm down when he was angry, was changing the situation, making him forget about it, talking about another thing or doing another thing that isn't related to the reason he's mad. Distract him and make him forget why he was mad in the first place.

i’m absolutely obsessed with grumpy x sunshine ship dynamic so i would love to see if you could write about mizu having a partner who is super energetic and excited while she’s always annoyed.
maybe at first mizu didn’t care for the reader at first but ringo insists on having reader tag along (maybe they are a healer or archer? it doesn’t matter to me!) then mizu slowly starts liking the reader the more she gets to know her? but reader is oblivious and doesn’t pick up on the hints even though it’s obvious mizu like her
sorry it’s so long 😭 i’m so in love with mizu it’s not funny i’m in the trenches right now
a/n: oooh alright!! 🫶 i love this ideaa
.
“The Sunshine to the Darkness”
warning(s): swearing
summary: poor mizu has been dropping hints here and there but you, my dear reader, are oblivious to them.
——————————————————————————
You stumbled across Mizu that very day she was fighting the Four Fangs. You were an archer, a rather good one at that. But what were your arrows to their swords? So you stayed in the distance, raining down arrows upon them when they got too close to Mizu.
Mizu could not tell who was helping her, distracting the Four Fangs long enough for her to attack them off guard. Yet she was grateful for your help, you managed to save her from quite a few blows that would’ve put her in a much worse condition.
You were doing fine staying back from the fight, that was until you saw a man (Taigen) approaching Mizu just as she killed Bloodsoaked Chiaki and badly wounded. You thought he was going to kill her the moment she fell unconscious from her injuries and blood loss, so you jumped into action. You shot at him, sending an arrow his way, in which he managed to dodge at the last minute.
Ringo appeared just then, tackling Taigen to the ground and demanding to know what happened to Mizu. You hopped off the rocks you were standing on and jumped onto the ground, running over to Mizu and checking her injuries.
“Is my master okay?! Oh no, he needs medicine and help!” Ringo said as he lifted Mizu onto his back. He told you to come and follow him and keep Mizu sitting upright on the horse while they went to a nearby abandoned temple to tend to Mizu’s injuries. You sat on a horse, Mizu behind you with her arms around your waist.
Her eyes opened weakly, finding herself now on a horse and her head lying on someone’s shoulder. You. Mizu looked down, noticing the bow on your side. So you are that archer Mizu thought. And then her tired eyes closed once again.
Mizu woke up once again, this time on a bedroll with you hovering over her with a concerned look. You gasped, realizing she’s up. “You’re awake! Oh my goodness, I thought you were dead!” You loudly exclaimed, helping her sit up. Mizu groaned, both from the pain and your loud voice.
“Gah, shut up, will you? So loud..” Mizu grumbled as Ringo walked over to her and handed her a bowl of medicine to drink. You sheepishly smiled, whispering a soft ‘sorry’ before you stood up and walked over to her clothes. She looked at you. That smile, that little smile. Why did it make her stomach do jumps and flips?
“Here, I sewed up your clothes again. They were ripped and in bad condition so I thought I’d fix them for you.” You placed her clothes, neatly folded, beside her. Mizu looked at you, but didn’t say a word. You hummed, waving Ringo goodbye before you walked outside to see what was Taigen doing.
Ringo looked at Mizu, who was drinking her medicine with a disgusted look on her face. “Master, I think they should stick around with us! They would make a great addition to the team, and they can use the bow and arrow!” Ringo was excited, if you joined the team, you could travel with them and help Mizu! Mizu looked at him, a bit annoyed he’d suggest to drag another person when she could barely stand him.
But somehow, Ringo managed to convince Mizu. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed, allowing you to tag along. Ringo was ecstatic since he liked having you around. Mizu acted like she was annoyed and tried not to pay attention to your shenanigans, but the thing is, she did pay attention. To your smiles, to the jokes you told, to the way you would squeal when you find some cute little charm, and how you were so eager to move in the morning when everyone was still drowsy.
“Hey,” Mizu says while you were looking at jewelry a local stall owner had on display when you and the group were passing by a village. She held out a hairpin, a beautiful one with blue flowers and small diamonds on it. You looked up at her, a bit confused by the gesture. Or why she’s looking away with her hand hiding her flushed cheeks. “I got it for you. You were staring at it very intently..”
You squealed, taking the hairpin and holding it up with a big smile. “Mizu! You didn’t have to! Oh my lord, it’s so pretty!” You smiled, wrapping your arms around her tightly. Mizu’s eyes widened, caught off guard by the sudden hug. Sure you hugged her plenty of times, but this one just hit different. She put on hand on your back as she muttered ‘you’re welcome’. “You’re such a good friend!” Oh, you oblivious little— That hit her a little bit.
Taigen walked over just then, busy eating something until he noticed you hugging Mizu. You, the sunshine of the group and probably the loudest beside him, were allowed to hug Mizu? The closed off, cold-hearted Mizu? Oh there was something fishy.
“The fuck is happening over here? You two getting ready to go out and party or what?” Taigen walked over to the two of you with a suspicious look. You looked at Taigen, clearly beaming as you showed him the hairpin Mizu bought you. Taigen looks back at Mizu, who was pretending to be looking at something else. He connected the puzzle pieces together and— OH. Mizu liked you. He almost smirks, looking at Mizu who was clearly side-eying him with poison in her eyes.
You were so oblivious, so dense. Mizu would never let anyone touch her besides you, much less buy a gift with actual sincerity behind it for someone.
Poor Mizu has been attempting to drop hints for you, yet you never catch on. She lets you sleep on her bedroll, carries you on her back when you complain you’re tired, buys you things you like—hell she even lets you touch her and cling onto her. And you unfortunately did not catch on. How is someone so smart like you yet so oblivious?
“Are you this dense?” Mizu asks out of the blue one day while the two of you were sparring. You looked at her weirdly, confused by what she meant. How did that have anything to do with what you two were doing now?
“Is this your way of calling me dumb or..?” You’re re puzzled, confused by what she means by dense. She’s the one that’s dense, right? You keep trying to show that you like her by doing things like sewing her clothes, buying her charms to carry around on her sword, and taking care of her when she’s sick yet she doesn’t get the hint. You snapped back to reality, jumping off the ground as Mizu aims the wooden blade towards your legs.
Mizu groans, both from annoyance of not being able to hit you and you also being far too oblivious. “No, I’m saying your ass is oblivious-“ she says as she blocks your wooden sword from swinging at her face. You took a step back. Oblivious? About what?
“I dunno. Is there something you need to tell me?” You asked, to which she replied with a soft huff.
“God you’re dumb. You idiot, I like you!” Mizu yells as she stabs her wooden sword into the grass below her feet. She runs her hand over her face, flabbergasted at how oblivious you were. These past few weeks, she’s been passing numerous hints, giving you special privileges, even doing things with you that are a tad bit too friendly to be considered ‘just friends’. And you don’t fucking notice!
It took you a few moments to process that. That it hits you. Her being extremely nice to you were actually hints and little clues! “OH- I thought you were being a good fri—“
Before you could even finish that line, Mizu tackled you onto the ground and slammed her lips against yours. Your hands immediately went to her waist, while her hands ran all over your body. The kiss was rough, almost like she was starving.
Finally she pulled away, out of breath and her face red. “Don’t even think about saying that line ever again. I’ve heard enough of it.”

dabi with a user who gets cold easily? :33
Awwww this is gonna be so cute okay <3

“You’re shivering again”
“really?”
“Yeah, you’re shakin’ like a drug addict”
“gee, didn’t notice”
You shivered again, glancing around the room at the heater. It wasn’t out, but it was crappy and old and didn’t seem to work well. The league had found this place on a rather cold night, snow billowing over the sidewalk just outside, and here you were still freezing your butt off even inside. Everyone else seemed to be fine, especially Dabi, but when wasn’t he? And now here he sat next to you with that dumb grin on his face teasing you as usual. He couldn’t help it, really, not when you looked just adorable shivering like that.
And yet, his little playful jabs hit the wrong nerves, and you pouted and crossed your arms, the latter being less of a sign of agitation and more of you trying to keep yourself warm. Dabi looked up at the other members- all busy either talking or gaming or scrolling on their phones- before rolling his eyes.
You see, the two of you had been seeing each other for a while, and he had no intention of making this fact too public. He knew the rest of the league (Toga) would pry, and he didn’t want it ‘getting in the way’ of his missions (a doubt planted by an unknowing Shigaraki)
Still, watching you shiver with that pout on your face, he couldn’t help but let that smile melt into something far more real as he moved closer and wrapped an arm around you. It almost startled you how much heat radiated off of him; every time he touched you it was a shock, but this time, a well welcomed one.
You looked up at him- not missing that soft gaze that held yours- before smiling yourself and settling in under his arm. He scoffed, trying to sound annoyed despite the smile on his face. Eventually he leaned his head back against the back of the couch, his eyes shutting. Something about feeling you under his arm that made him feel…safe, in a number of ways. Before he knew it, he was falling asleep.
You noticed, looking up at him, nervous to move for fear you’d wake him. You knew how little sleep he got, just what his physical trauma had caused him, and so you stayed quiet and let him sleep, smiling to yourself at not only his warmth but the soft smile that still lingered on his face.
Dabi’s sleep was rather gently disturbed sometime later. The heater had sputtered out and died, and despite him not noticing as much, he seemed to be the one carrying the load of the machine, because when he opened his eyes the remaining league members in the room were huddled around him.
Shigaraki sat next to him with his arms crossed, shrugging. Toga lay across the back of the couch with her head on his shoulder, twice was rubbing his hands and sticking them towards Dabi in a rather dramatic attempt for warmth. Magne was over by the heater attempting to repair it with Compress, both of whom were huddled in blankets and looking over at the warm pile around Dabi rather longingly… and then there was you, fast asleep under his arm. He blushed, rolling his eyes once more
“you people are such daisies…” he muttered, glancing around at them.
“bet you didn’t say that to y/n!” Toga teased, practically in his ear, causing him to flinch for a moment, scoffing. “No. No I didn’t. Gonna sue?” He retaliated, nudging her head off his shoulder. “Nope, just gonna tell ya that y/n told us we could huddle around you like a campfire after the heater went out”
Dabi’s eyes widened slightly as he glanced down at you, but soon his expression softened when he saw how peaceful you looked.
“Of course they did..”

๋࣭⭑────୨ৎ────⭑๋࣭
The first week of marriage was like walking on glass - painful, slow and every step precise and calculated. Mornings were silent. You both ate breakfast in the same room, but not together. The house was too quiet, to big, and every day you wondered how long you could last like this.
Wonyoung called you everyday. Her voice was a lifeline.
"Did he speak today?" she asked, chewing something on the other end of the call.
"Nope. Still the same as yesterday," you replied, your eyes fixed on the large window overlooking the garden. "He's either at work or in his office. It's like I don't even exist"
"Sound like you're having the time of your life," she said sarcastically. "I told you to poison his coffee."
"Noted," you laugh softly, the first real laugh you'd had all week. "If i go to jail, you're bailing me out."
"Duh. Obviously."
When the call ended, much to your disappointment, you wandered through the house, fingers skimming over the polished wood banisters and the cool marble countertops. It was all so beautiful. Beautiful but hollow. Just like your marriage.
A knock at the door interrupted your thoughts.
You frowned. Visitors were rare. You opened the door to reveal Felix, grinning like he'd won the lottery.
"Surprise!" he said, holding up a bag of takeout like a trophy.
You blinked, still holding the door half-closed. "What are you doing here?"
"Chan told me you were home alone," he shrugged, pushing the door fully open and walking past you without waiting for permission. He placed the takeout on the kitchen counter and started unpacking boxes of fried chicken, rice cakes, and soda. "Figured you'd eventually get sick of eating rich people food."
He wasn't wrong.
You stared at him for a moment, unsure of whether to feel annoyed or grateful. "You're...a weird one," you muttered, finally closing the door and walking over.
"People tell me that all the time." He cracked open a soda and slid it towards you. "Come on, sit and eat. I promise I don't bite."
It was strange how easy it was to talk to Felix. He didn't treat you like an outsider. Not how your husband did. He told you stories about Chan in college - how he was the guy who made sure his friends were okay, the one who stayed behind to clean up after a party.
"He doesn't seem like that now," you admitted, picking at your rice cake with your chopsticks.
"Yeah, well," Felix leaned back, eyes drifting towards the window. "Pressure changes people."
๋࣭⭑────୨ৎ────⭑๋࣭
The house was never as quite anymore. Felix started visiting regularly. Sometimes, he's show up just to nap on the couch all day, calling it his 'second home'. You didn't mind. His presence kept the loneliness at bay, and sometimes you wouldn't even notice he was there.
But Chan noticed.
One evening, he came home quite a bit earlier than usual. His tie was still neatly in place, but his eyes were colder than usual. He found Felix sprawled on the couch, in front of the TV, eating chips like he owned the place.
"Comfortable?" Chan asked, his tone icy.
"Absolutely," Felix replied, grinning through a mouthful of chips. "This couch was definitely worth the thousands of dollars you spent on it."
Chan's jaw tightened, his eyes darting towards you, who was sitting on an armchair nearby, before looking back at Felix. "Don't you have somewhere else to be, Felix?"
"No, not really." Felix didn't flinch, his smile only getting wider.
"Out." Chan's voice was low but firm.
"Alright, alright." Felix stood up and grabbed his bag, but shot you a playful wink before he left. "Call me if you get bored, Y/N."
When the door shut, Chan turned to you, his expression unreadable. "Are you seriously letting him be here all the time?"
You crossed your arms over your chest. "He's my only friend here. And he's one of yours too. What's the problem?"
"Don't be naive," he muttered, tossing his keys onto the table.
"Naive?" Your tone sharpened. "What the hell am i being naive about?"
He exhaled sharply, dragging a hand through his hair. "You think people are just 'nice' for no reason? Everyone has ulterior motives."
Your eyes narrowed, shocked that he views one of his friends like that. "Is that how you see me too?"
Silence.
He didn't answer, and that's what hurt more than any insult.
"Got it," you said, your voice colder than intended. "Thanks for clearing that up, husband."
๋࣭⭑────୨ৎ────⭑๋࣭
The next day, you get a call from Wonyoung, her voice frantic.
"Y/N, I think someone's following me," she whisper-shouted.
"What? Where are you?"
"I'm at our coffee shop," she said. "There's a man in a black suit. He's been watching me for the past twenty minutes."
Black suit? Your heart started racing. "Stay where you are. I'm coming."
Before you could grab your shoes and coat, a knock came from the front door. You opened it to see Minho standing there, his smile too sharp to be friendly.
"Good evening, sister-in-law," he said smoothly, his eyes sharp as knives. "We need to talk."
Every instinct inside you told you to slam the door on his face. But he stepped inside before you had the chance.

Hell on Earth: Chapter 1
words: 2.7k
pairing: Steve Harrington x ex-friend!Henderson!reader (eventually romantic- could be called a slow burn I guess, but they're not together right now, there's some bad blood, just read it man I suck at summarizing T_T)
summary: Things do not seem normal in simple, down-to-earth town Hawkins, Indiana. With Will Byers missing, tensions rise while the mystery claims another victim.
timeline: set in season one right after Will goes missing
warnings: language, bending of canon, fic from reader's pov (3rd person will be there as well, will warn before a pov change if there is one)
a/n: hey guys! so, I see you have found the first part of Hell on Earth :) This is a Steve x reader, yes, I promise we will get there and it'll be awesome when we do, but as much as it is a reader insert Steve slash fic, this is also an actual Stranger Things spin-off story that I'm writing, meaning there will be a lot of focus on the actual plot along with steve and reader's relationship. Also yes, reader is Dustin's older sister.
Tumblr media
Reader POV
Will Byers was the kind of kid you wouldn't know was missing until you looked for him. He didn't bother anybody, just kept to himself and his little group doing whatever it is kids these days do, you know? He was a simple, soft-spoken kid, the last person you would wish danger upon. So when I heard that he'd gone missing, I was as confused as I was worried.
"And he was with you when you cycled back home?"
"Yes, Jesus Christ (Y/n), for the millionth time. Yes."
"Don't get annoyed you little shit, I'm trying to help you here."
"Oh, excuse me for getting worried because my best friend is freaking missing."
"Dustin! Don't talk to your sister like that!" I heard Mom scream at us from the living room, oblivious to any context. I mean, he was right to get annoyed with me. His exasperated look at Mom's comment told me he thought the same thing. I just shook my head in understanding. What more can I do?
"Listen, I know you want to go looking for him, I would too, but you can't go on your own. I need you to promise me you won't go on your own, okay? Wait after school, and we'll go together."
"You get off school like two hours after I do, what am I supposed to do, sit and scream his name from my room and hope he shows up? Come on, man. That's bullsh-"
"Dustin."
"What?"
I stared at him, hoping my disapproving-but-concerned-older-sister look told him what he needed to hear. It did.
"Fine. 2 hours. A minute late and I'm going off on my own."
"Deal," I said, knowing full well that I'd have to ditch Algebra II. I wasn't complaining, though. Staring at a newly painted wall and waiting for it to dry would be more interesting than Algebra II.
Later that day
I had exactly 5 minutes to bolt before Algebra II started. I went to my locker and hurriedly rammed all my shit inside when I noticed my locker neighbor Barbara coming towards hers. We'd make conversation when we're at our lockers and smile and wave when we saw each other in the hallway. Outside of that, I didn't really know her all too well.
"Algebra II?"
"Nah, I'm ditching. I promised my brother I'd help him with some stuff."
"Lucky," she sighed. "I can't believe I need to sit through Mr Treeger's bullshit for 2 hours."
"You are welcome to join me if you'd like," I offered with a grin. "Algebra II can be soul-sucking."
"Thank you, really, but I can't leave Nancy hanging. Besides, we've got this thing later as well and, yeah, it's a whole thing, don't bother," she explained.
"Suit yourself, Barb." I shut my locker and almost left before I heard her voice again.
"I mean, if you need notes or anything, I could- uh- I could take them for you? If you want?" she said, almost like she wasn't sure I would take her up on her offer.
"I would love that, actually. Where do you live?"
"Uh, I think I’ll be at Steve’s party later. At the Harrington's. You know the place?" She shifted her books like they suddenly weighed too much. Her expression said she wasn't entirely looking forward to this.
Hearing Steve's name threw me slightly on edge. When you grow up with somebody and you fall out with them, you don't exactly forget things about them. I practically spent half my life at his house. I practically spent half my life with him. So, yes. I definitely knew the place.
"Y-yeah. I do"
"Great, I'll have it ready, then."
"Barb, you are literally an angel." I hurriedly gave her an impromptu hug and rushed outside to get to my car, where I saw Jonathan Byers handing out missing posters. His shoulders sagged under the weight of the stack in his hands and he looked like he hadn't slept in days. I can only imagine what he and Mrs Byers were going through.
I hesitated for a second before walking up to him. I knew Jonathan from Dustin hanging out with Will. We weren't close friends or anything, but someone had to say something. His hands trembled slightly as he stapled one of the posters onto the community board near the lot, his eyes darting nervously like he was waiting for Will to suddenly appear and tell him it was all a joke.
"Hey, Jonathan."
He flinched at my voice, turning to me with an exhausted half-smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
"Hey," he mumbled.
I nodded at the posters in his hands. "Any updates? Are the cops, like… actually doing anything?"
"They found his cycle a few minutes from Mirkwood. So that's... yeah. That's it, I guess?"
"What are they thinking?"
He hesitated, glancing down at the posters like he thought they might hold some kind of answer. "They think he might’ve run away, but that’s not Will. He wouldn’t just… leave."
I nodded slowly. "Yeah, I don’t buy that either. Will’s not the type to just take off. He’s… dependable, you know?"
Jonathan looked at me for a moment, his expression softening just a little. "Thanks."
I shrugged, kicking at a loose rock on the ground. "For what? Telling the truth?"
"For… caring, I guess," he said, turning back to his work.
I watched him for a second longer, the weight of the whole situation sinking in deeper. "Let me know if you need help. With the posters or anything else."
Jonathan nodded, his focus back on the board. "Thanks," he said again, so quiet I almost missed it.
I didn’t know what else to say, so I just turned and walked back to my car, leaving him to keep stapling the same plea for help over and over.
I drove back home and Dustin was practically at the edge of his seat, looking like he was at the verge of explosion.
"What the hell took you so long?"
"Jesus Christ, I'm right on time. Give me a break."
He continued to yell at me about how time is of the essence. I held up a hand to calm him down. "Relax, I’m here now, aren’t I? Anyway, listen. They found some stuff near Mirkwood."
That got his attention. His eyes widened, his mouth snapping shut mid-rant. "What kind of stuff?"
I sat down across from him, leaning forward so Mom couldn’t overhear from the kitchen. "They found his bike. Just abandoned on the side of the road. No tracks, no clues, nothing else. It’s like he just… vanished."
Dustin’s face fell, his usual confident bravado cracking under the weight of what I’d just told him. "His bike?" he echoed, voice smaller now.
"Yeah. Cops are calling it ‘strange circumstances.’ I’m calling it suspicious as hell."
He nodded, jaw tightening as his brain started working overtime. "Okay. Okay, so that means he didn’t run away. Someone- or something- took him."
I flinched a little at how easily he jumped to "something." This was Hawkins. Strange wasn’t on the table.
"Dustin, don’t get carried away. Let’s stick to facts. We know where his bike was, and that’s it. But you promised me you wouldn’t do anything stupid, remember?"
He rolled his eyes but didn’t argue. "Fine. But we need to check it out. Together."
I sighed, knowing there was no talking him out of it. "Together. No sneaking off without me, got it?"
"Got it," he said, though I could tell from his tone he was already planning something.
A couple hours later
"So that was fucking useless."
"Dustin, come on. Don't be like that."
"We found nothing, (Y/n)! He's out there, probably being tortured for all we know, and we found literally nothing."
"Don't jump to conclusions. Yes, we don't know anything now. But we are not the only people looking. Okay?"
"I'm telling you. We should look for him right around when he went missing."
"No way I'm letting you go out there at 10 pm unsupervised. Mom would gut me."
"I won't be unsupervised if you're with me."
"Dustin," I sighed, slightly annoyed at how he wouldn't level with me at all. "Whatever happened to Will could be bigger than us. If it's something we can't handle, I don't want us to go all in with literally no information."
"Oh, come on! but-"
"No buts. Sit this one out. I am begging you. At least until we know something."
Even though he begrudgingly agreed, his words stuck with me. I hated the idea of him sneaking off on his own, but I also couldn’t shake the feeling that he was right. If there were answers out there, they wouldn’t come to us- we had to go to them. And if I knew Dustin at all, I knew exactly what that meant. He’d go anyway.
The only way for me to deal with this was to either find something before he did or supervise, just in case. And both those options required me to be out in the woods in the dead of the night. Perfect. I remembered that I had to stop by to see Barb so it won't all be for nothing.
The glow of streetlights flickered against the windshield as I pulled up to the Harringtons' house. The faint hum of music and muffled laughter carried through the warm night air, the telltale signs of a Steve Harrington classic. For a moment, I hesitated, fingers gripping the steering wheel. It had been a while since I’d set foot here, and it felt strange- nostalgic in a way that made my chest tight. I didn't like it.
I stepped out of the car and walked around the side of the house, avoiding the main door. I wasn’t here for the party, and I definitely wasn’t in the mood to exchange awkward hellos with people who probably didn’t even remember my name. Also, I might punch Tommy and Carol just because.
The backyard was bathed in the eerie blue glow of the pool lights. It was quieter here, the party sounds muffled by the distance. Sitting by the pool, her legs dangling lazily in the water, was Barb. She was hunched over slightly, fiddling with the strap of her watch, looking as out of place as I felt.
"Hey," I called softly, not wanting to startle her.
She looked up, her face lighting up with a small, relieved smile. "Oh, hey! You made it."
"Yeah," I said, walking over and sitting beside her on the cool concrete. "Figured I’d pick up those notes before your night gets too crazy," I said before I noticed her poorly bandaged hand bloody hand.
"Holy shit, you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, it's... nothing. I'm okay."
"Partied too hard?"
Barb scoffed, glancing over her shoulder at the house. "Yeah, not exactly my scene. Nancy’s inside with Steve. I’m just... taking a break."
I nodded, leaning back on my palms and staring at the pool. Nancy's inside with Steve. That didn't bother me at all. "Can’t say I blame you. These things get out of hand quickly," I said, slightly regretting my hand pun.
She laughed at my poorly timed joke and reached into her bag to pull out a neatly folded piece of paper. "Here you go. Sorry if it’s a little messy. Mr. Treeger was really on one today."
I took the notes with a grateful smile. "You’re the best, Barb. Seriously."
She waved it off like it was no big deal. "It’s nothing. So, what are you up to?"
I reached into my bag and pulled out a worn paperback with a cracked spine and dog-eared pages. "Actually, I thought you might need this more than I do right now," I said, handing Barb my copy of The Shining.
Her eyes lit up as she took it, carefully running her fingers over the cover. "No way. I’ve been wanting to read this forever."
"Well, now you’ve got no excuse. It’s a classic. Just don’t read it alone at night unless you want to start hearing creepy voices in your house."
Barb laughed, flipping through the pages. "Thanks, (Y/n). This is awesome. I’ll take good care of it, promise." She looked up at me, her expression softening. "This one your favorite? "
"It's my comfort book, honestly"
"The Shining is your comfort book?".
"Hey, don't knock it till you try it. Besides, no matter how bad my day is going, everyone in that book is having a much worse, more horrible day."
She laughed and looked at me with a smile extending far beyond her eyes. "But seriously, why do you always have the best recommendations? Like, do you just spend all your time reading?"
"I wouldn’t say all my time," I joked, leaning back and shrugging. "But books don’t talk back or ditch you for better plans. So they’ve got that going for them."
Barb chuckled, but her smile faltered slightly, and she hesitated before asking, "Speaking of people ditching... can I ask you something? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to."
I glanced at her, curious. "Shoot."
"What happened with you and Steve? I mean, if you don’t mind me asking. You two seemed really close back then"
I froze for a moment, caught off guard by the question. It wasn’t exactly something I loved to think about, let alone talk about. Barb’s expression wasn’t nosy or judgmental- just genuinely curious. I hesitated for a moment, debating whether to say anything. But Barb was easy to talk to, and I felt like I could trust her.
"It’s... complicated," I said, exhaling sharply. "Before his, you know, 'coronation', King Steve and I were best friends. We practically grew up together. You stick with someone throughout middle school and still want to hang out? That's true friendship, right there."
She nodded like she related to what I was saying. "High School came and he changed. He wanted to hang out less, which was fine with me, you know? People change and everything," I paused for a second.
"It got bad only after Tommy and Carol started hanging out with him. He became this mean jerk, this person I could barely recognize. And I never got along with Tommy or Carol from the beginning, he knew that from the million times I have told him that I hate their guts. Hell, I've directly said it to Tommy and Carol. I just... I guess you could say we both grew up and became distant or whatever, but the fact is, he's just a colossal asshole now.
Barb frowned, clutching the book tighter. "That sucks. I’m sorry."
I shrugged, trying to play it off. "It’s whatever. We’re not kids anymore, and I guess we just outgrew each other. Besides, I’m not exactly missing out on this." I gestured toward the house, where someone let out an ear-piercing whoop, followed by the unmistakable sound of something breaking.
Barb laughed, shaking her head. "Yeah, I don’t think either of us belong here."
"Hey, misery loves company, right?" I teased, bumping her shoulder lightly.
She smiled, a little more at ease now, and held up the book. "Thanks for this. I mean it."
"Don’t mention it," I said, standing up and brushing off my jeans. "Enjoy the book- and maybe steer clear of the creepy twins in the hallway."
Barb laughed again as I started to head back to my car.
"You sure you don't need a lift? Your house isn't too far, I don't mind."
"Really, it's ok, (Y/n). I'll just go whenever Nancy leaves."
"It's almost midnight, Barb, you sure?"
"I am. I really am."

It didn't take long for some of the drivers to catch on
Others were completely oblivious
Oscar and Lando both found it incredibly entertaining when she struggled to filter her thoughts
Her opinions and comments about things making them laugh hysterically
When someone told a joke she didn’t understand and gave them a blank stare, the reaction to them was funnier then the joke.
Oscar always swooped in to save her
Explaining what everyone found so funny in a way that made it all click for her
Max became close with her easily
She listened intently every time he started Maxsplaining or info-dumping
It was obvious to her when he was joking
He appreciates her laughing at his jokes
Charles is absolutely clueless
The two often staring blankly at the other
No thoughts, head empty
Until they figured out their shared interest in music
Then they wouldn’t shut up
Lando appreciates her tastes in food
Specifically the lack their of
Finally he could go out to eat with someone who understood him and his pickiness
Much to Oscar’s dismay
Daniel is very sweet with her
He tries his best not to shout in her ear and if he knows he’s going to be loud he’ll make sure to warn her
He gets defensive whenever someone gets insensitive
He’s always ready to tell someone off if they aren’t listening to her and what she’s saying she needs
Lewis was always wanting to know as much as possible
Learning to help make people aware of the hurtful stereotypes
It was refreshing to see and she openly answered any questions he asked
The reporter and journalists on the other hand, had yet to learn their lesson
It became a game among everyone who was regularly in the paddock
A game they called “which journalist would be getting a blunt answer today”
They always wanted to know why she did the the things she did
In which they would either receive a blunt and unfiltered answer
Or a sarcastic remark
“Is this the new style?”
“Sure. But I just find it comfy.”
“Do you ever get annoyed by things around the paddock?”
“That’s a stupid question. Don’t you have a degree for this stuff?”
“How do you and Oscar celebrate?”
“We party really hard. Drink a lot… of water. Lay on the floor. I’m always exhausted after.”
Speaking of the floor
She had a habit of always being on it
She determined that some floors were better then others
Oscar loved to indulge in her experiments
Rating every floor she was willing to lay on
They once were judging to tarmac on the circuit
Other drivers were doing track walks
Eventually they joined in
The journalists were confused at why half the grid was laying in the ground determining if they could sleep on it
It was a nice change, being around people who didn’t label her and accepted all of her quirks
Oscar was glad she felt at home around the paddock
He loves her for who she is
So seeing her smile about her environment and being accepted into his grid family made him smile too

Tumblr media
As you followed Hongjoong’s instructions, you slowly began realising how drunk you were as you sloppily climbed up the steps. After what felt like an eternity, you made it to the final step, sighing with relief as you caught your breath and looked around.
Just a few steps in the front of the stairs, a girl crouched on the ground with two of her friends comforting her as she sobbed and swore herself off men. A little farther than that, a couple was making out very loudly against a wall. You grimaced and turned to look down the other way of the hall, finding one of the bedroom doors open and deciding to check in there.
As you approached the door, a different couple ran out of the room, a slightly drunk and stern-faced Yeosang stepping out behind them as they fled down the stairs. His eyes landed on you and it took him a second to realise why you looked so familiar—squinting and leaning forward comically as you approached him—but when he did, his eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas.
“Y/N!” He called out to you happily, stepping towards you as his voice was slightly louder than it needed to be.
You matched his giddy smile, “Yeosang!”
His eyes moved down from your face, taking in your appearance as you assessed his. You completely missed how he blushed and looked you up and down, suddenly a bit breathless.
His blond hair had grown long enough to be swept into a half-up-half-down hairstyle that tied together his outfit made up of a green sweater and blue trousers, fitted on his hips with a black belt.
Yeosang’s breath caught in his throat as his gaze travelled down to see your exposed thighs, the hem of your skirt gently brushing against the soft skin he’s always wanted to touch. He shook away any inappropriate thoughts he had and stepped closer to you, enveloping you in a warm hug.
“How much did you drink?” He laughed softly as the two of you separate, leaving you stumbling slightly.
You shrugged, a goofy grin on your face. “Not sure, I lost count.”
“Let’s get you some water?”
“‘m fineee!” you slurred once again but wrapped yourself around his arm and leaned against him for support, your feet tired. You flinched when another song came on downstairs, much louder than the rest as the beat boomed throughout the house and left your skull pulsing.
Yeosang furrowed his eyebrows and frowned full of concern, “You okay, petal?”
He wasn’t sure where that pet name came from, but feeling a little brave with the small amount of alcohol in his system, he didn’t care much. It was you that had to hide your blush as you shook your head at the question.
“This song… gives me a headache.” You told him, clamping your eyes shut as you buried your face in his shoulder.
A tut left his lips as he looked around, pulling you into the bedroom he chased the couple out of earlier and closed the door behind you. It was decorated very plainly—a large bed, a desk with a chair, a closet and no personal objects in sight. It made sense though, considering they rented this house just for tonight.
You sat on the bed and watched as he closed the door carefully, shrugging off the white shirt since it was getting a bit warmer in the room, exposing your bare arms and shoulders. When he turned around and saw your full outfit without the annoying white shirt, leaning back on your hands as you looked up at him, his breath caught in his throat for a second time, eyes glazing over as he tried to collect himself. You looked so inviting and he had to fight himself internally to not devour you right then and there.
He sat next to you and hitched a knee up on the bed to look at you better, tentatively moving a little closer and watching to see if you’d protest but when you didn’t he relaxed a bit. “We can stay in here until you feel better.”
You opened your mouth to say something but a noise beyond the window above the head of the bed distracted you. A familiar, obnoxious cackle rang through the glass and had you perking up slightly, kicking off your shoes to climb further up on the bed (Yeosang tried his best not to look at the way your skirt rode up your hips, ever so slightly exposing a sliver of the plump flesh of your upper thighs). Once you got the window open, you leaned forward, kneeling on the bed and poking your head out the window.
Your confused face was quickly overrun by a bright smile as you watched the commotion down in the garden. There weren’t many people outside so it was easy to spot Wooyoung, San, Yunho, Jongho and Seonghwa. San and Jongho sat on the ground, separated by what looked like a crate, using it as a platform for them to arm wrestle on. Yunho stood behind Jongho and Wooyoung behind San, each of them cheering on their fighters while Seonghwa acted as a referee.
You called out to them, waving one of your hands around mildly aggressively as you used the other to prevent yourself from falling down. All of them looked up, smiles stretching onto their faces as well.
“Y/N!!!” Wooyoung was the first to call out to you. “Come join us!!”
You giggled, nodding your head and leaning back on your knees and into the room. Yeosang had settled down on the bed next to you, laying on his side as he watched you communicate with the guys outside, face full of adoration.
“They want us to go down and join them,” you told him once you made yourself comfortable kneeling next to him.
He didn’t answer you right away, nor did he make any moves to get up. “You look so beautiful right now…” He breathed.
You blushed, looking away and hitting his shoulder playfully.
“I’m serious, you look beautiful… now and always.”
“Yeosang, you’re drunk…”
He gently caressed your arm, leaving trails of goosebumps in his wake. “I don’t have to be sober to tell you the truth. I think you’re beautiful, petal. The prettiest flower I’ve ever seen.”
“Yeo…” you whispered, “I could say the same for you.”
It was his turn to blush, the apples of his cheeks swelling as he gave you a small smile, his hand slipping further down your arm to intertwine your fingers. “You think I’m pretty?”
A chuckle left your lips as you nodded.
A beat of silence passed between the two of you and he sat up, leaning against the headboard of the bed with his legs stretched in front of him, looking into your eyes as you watched his perceptive ones. His hand never let go of yours as he angled his body to face you, his thumb tracing light circles on your skin as his gaze flicked down to peek at the way your hand fit in his. Your gaze roamed all over his face, lips parted slightly as you took in the soft angles of his features. Yeosang revelled in the way you looked at him then, basking in the warmth of your gaze.
“I want… can I…” He hesitated, but you nodded at him, silently beckoning him to continue as you waited patiently. He glanced down at your lips. “May I…?”
He didn’t need to elaborate, his question clear enough for you to understand just by watching him. Your breath hitched as the hand that was holding yours grazed just above your knee. A tiny nod was all you needed to give him before he was leaning forward.
His hand let go of yours, featherlight touches trailing up your side until it rested on your jaw softly. You copied his movements, bracing your hand on his thigh as you leaned forward to brush your lips against his. His breath shuddered against your lips as he leaned forward, deepening the peck slightly before pulling back. And then you watched each other for a second. He adored the way your cheeks were slightly dusted with pink, flustered.
A moment later, you both dove in again. This time, there was more heat behind the kiss as your mouths worked against each other, setting an almost bruising pace. His hand moved up your thigh to rest on your hip, pulling you forward to straddle him on his lap before the hand moved down again, gently massaging your cushiony thighs. You sighed softly against his lips, your hands trailing up his body, one resting on his shoulder as the other played with the soft hair on the nape of his neck.
When you felt his tongue swiping along your bottom lip, you didn’t protest as you parted your lips, letting him explore your mouth as your noses nudged each other. Tongues bumping against each other, he faintly tasted of mint and whiskey.
Eventually, he disconnected his lips from you, loving the slight swell of your lips and the way a tiny string of saliva connected his and your lips as you parted, only snapping once you leaned too far back as you heaved breaths. His hand continues caressing your thigh, occasionally slipping under the hem of your skirt before slipping out just as quickly, and your hand continued brushing his beautiful blonde strands as you both caught your breaths.
“That was nice.” You finally spoke up, shoulders drawing up a little as you giggled.
Your words combined with your actions brought a smile to his face, the hand on your jaw slipping down to rest on your waist. “I agree…”
“My lipgloss got all over your lips.”
“Why don’t you clean it for me then?”
You blinked at him, not used to this kind of boldness coming from him. Your hand on his shoulder hesitantly moved, hovering over his surprisingly soft lips for a moment before you used to thumb to rub off the gloss. Before you could pull your thumb away once you finished, he pressed a light kiss to your digit.
Another beat of silence passed between the two of you, though it wasn’t awkward.
“They’re waiting for us downstairs.” You reminded him, leaning forward to press a short kiss to his lips before leaning back on his lap.
“They can wait a little longer…” He leaned forward to capture your lips in his one last time but was cut off by a shout from outside the window.
“Y/N PLEASE COME DOWNSTAIRS I MISS YOU IT’S BEEN YEARS.” “Wooyoung, it’s been a few hours-” “I don’t give a fuck, I miss her.”
Another laugh escaped you as you smiled against Yeosang’s lips. “Let’s go?”
He groaned and give your waist a squeeze, lifting you off him gently before getting off the bed and offering you a hand. “I’m gonna kill Wooyoung one day.”
“Please wait a few weeks, we still have to finish our project.” You brought your hand up to pat his cheek after getting up, turning to leave the room but suddenly feeling too dizzy to walk. Your ministrations with Yeosang had made you forget you were exceptionally drunk.
He laughed as he watched you collapse back into the bed, shaking his head slightly as he leaned his head out the window. “Can someone more sober than me please come get her?”
And before you could register it, Jongho was carrying you down the stairs and across the very busy living room to get to the garden where the other guys were waiting, one hand under your back and the other under your knees. As he walked outside, you missed the reactions of them as they finally laid eyes on what you were dressed in, your face affectionately nuzzled into Jongho’s bicep.
Seonghwa’s jaw just about dropped as he heard a sharp intake of breath from his right, where San was pouring himself a glass of soda next to the barbecue. Yunho nearly dropped his glass while Wooyoung showed no shame in the way his gaze travelled over your body like a predator, suddenly regretting the fact he was so drunk and would probably forget this delicious image the next morning. Jongho set you down on one of the two couches they dragged outside, still blushing over how you pressed a kiss to his cheek as a thank you when he scooped you up into his arms earlier.
“What took you so long?” Wooyoung pouted, throwing himself on the couch to sit next to you, pulling you into his chest with his hands around your waist.
“She was too drunk to stand up and I tried lifting her a few times, but turns out I’m too drunk to do that without running both of us into a wall.” You looked at Yeosang over Wooyoung’s shoulder as he spoke, nodding him a thank you.
As you leaned away from the embrace, you looked around and observed the guys. San was in a tanktop that did nothing to hide his muscled and blue jeans, Yunho in a ripped camo sweater and grey ripped jeans while Wooyoung dressed himself in wide-cut black trousers with a black t-shirt tucked in and a large denim flannel on top. Jongho was dressed in a fluffy lilac sweater with denim pants. But the biggest change in appearance came from Seonghwa.
What was light pink hair was now dyed black and neatly swept back from his forehead with gel. His outfit was a lot edgier than you were used to when it came to him—a short-sleeved white dress shirt, a loosely done tie, black leather pants and, to top everything off, a strappy black harness pulling his shirt to his chest and accentuating his perfect waist. You willed your eyes to stop trailing over his figure so desperately, but you were only human after all.
Two hours later you were still outside, comfortably sandwiched between San and Mingi as you all laughed at a story Yunho was telling. At some point Seonghwa had thrown a blanket over your legs, your heart warming as he explained it was so you wouldn’t be worried about anything showing. Occasionally you’d stand up or go inside with one or two of the boys, feeling the need to dance every time a good song came on—which was quite often because Hongjoong had impeccable taste.
At this time it was nearing three in the morning. Most people had already left and the people still at the party were already passed out in various areas of the house. Your friends had come over to let you they’ll be leaving in case you wanted to join them but you assured them you’d be fine staying and San—the 100% sober one, was unable to handle alcohol very well so he opted to not drink that night—promised to take you home. Minseong handed you your phone before he, his boyfriend and Sangmi left (Daniel had gone home with some girl already). Hongjoong turned the music down on the speakers and left a softer playlist running as he and Mingi joined the rest of you in the garden.
Snuggled in between the large bodies of San and Mingi, you yawned, hugging your knees tighter to your chest. A quiet rumble of laughter came from Mingi on your right as he gently rubbed your left shoulder, his arm slung over you as San’s was looped around your waist and toyed with the waist chain.
“Are you tired?” San leaned his head down, speaking into your ear lowly and sending shivers down your spine. Not trusting yourself to speak just yet, you just nodded with a pout, to which he chuckled. “Do you want me to take you home now?” You nodded again, this time looking up at him with wide, tired eyes. He let out another short chuckle as he turned to address the rest of the group. “Our little lady is tired, I’m gonna take her home now. I’ll be back in a bit.”
They all nodded and wished you a good night, Mingi absentmindedly leaning down to press a quick kiss to your hair before San picked you up from the couch. He carried you the same way Jongho did, one hand under your knees and the other under your back. He wrapped you in the blanket a bit more securely before lifting you up, knowing you’d die of embarrassment if you accidentally flashed any of them.
“Don’t rush, I can drive the rest of us home, too. Just get her home safely.” Seonghwa called after the two of you as San went around the house to get into the car.
Soon enough you were seated in the passenger seat of San’s car. You mumbled out the address of your apartment building and he soon began driving as you dozed off. Once you arrived a few minutes later, he gently patted your knee, coaxing you to wake up.
“Wake up,” he muttered, careful not to startle you. San smiled when he noticed you were beginning to stir awake. “We’ve arrived.”
You stretched slightly in his seat as he got out and rounded the car, opening your door and extending his hands to help you get up. You obeyed him quietly, the blanket falling to the ground of the car as you step out. A rosy tint dusted the tips of his ear as you leaned up and embraced him over his shoulders, clinging onto him tightly as you stood on your toes. After recovering, he reciprocated the hug by wrapping his strong arms around your waist and pulling you closer.
“Your awfully clingy when you’re drunk.” He joked, leaning back to look down at your tired face. “Come on, let’s get you to bed, yeah? Do you want to be carried again?” You waited a moment before nodding, a small smile on your lips when he laughs again. “Well, as you wish, princess.”
He winked playfully before turning around and leaning down a bit more, gesturing for you to get on his back. Once you did, he placed his hands under each of your thighs to secure you better. He listened to your instructions carefully as you leaned your head on his shoulder and murmured into his ears. Since it was so late (or early might would be a better fit), the lobby staff was nowhere to be seen as he entered one of the main elevators.
When you got out on the fifth floor, you directed him to the apartment you shared with Sangmi. Since you didn’t bring your keys, you pulled out your phone from where you tucked it into the waistband of your skirt, quickly pulling up your chat with her to ask her to open the door. But your face drained of colour when you saw the messages she sent you half an hour before.
minnie <3 – 2:37 am I’m going home with a guy from the party I think the spare key is where it always is
You groaned and dropped your head on San’s shoulder, making his head turn to look at you as best as he could. “What’s wrong?”
“My roommate isn’t home,” you sighed, not wanting to get off his firm but comfortable back quite yet, “Can you let me down for a moment, Sannie?”
He set you back on your feet and watched as you crouched in front of the door, flipping over the corner white doormat to reveal a key taped to the bottom. It didn’t take long for you to unlock the door and let the two of you in, taking off your shoes and making a beeline for the bedroom as San looked around the entrance area and living room before following behind you.
He wasn’t sure what he expected your room to look like, but if someone asked him he could confidently tell them that your room feels like you. It was a wonderful display of organised chaos. Not messy at all, but rather full of personality. Posters hung on the wall and a variety of sketchbooks and pencils littered your desk. The large window behind your bed was covered by sheer curtains and then a layer of more solid ones, drawn close to give you some privacy. A slim bookshelf full of books and other trinkets was placed in the corner opposite your closet, two different guitars and their stands leaning against the furniture piece—one white electric guitar and one acoustic.
He inspected the room, his gaze finally falling on you as you switched the much too bright lighting from the overhead lamp to the lamp on the bedside table, giving the room a softer, warmer glow. You sat on the bed, turning to look at him.
You weren’t exactly sure what made you say it, and you definitely knew it was a bad idea. Hell, you’ve only known San for, what? Three or four months? Sure, you’ve formed closer relationships in a shorter time and you were already very comfortable with him, but as soon as your words left your mouth you were fully aware of the consequences if he didn’t reciprocate the same kind of comfort.
“Can you… can you help me change?” You asked quietly, hoping the dim lighting would hide at least some of your flushed face.
When he didn’t answer immediately, you were sure he was ready to walk out and never talk to you again. But he didn’t. Instead, he stepped closer to you and crouched in front of you to face you eye-to-eye.
“Are you sure? Would you be comfortable with that?” You nodded and he held up a hand for you to stop. “I need your words. I need you to say you’d be comfortable with me doing this for you.”
You weren’t sure why he needed such concrete permission for just changing you, but you nodded again. “Yes, I’m comfortable. I think I’m too tired to do it myself.”
He cracked a smile and nodded, standing up and turning around to take some steps to your closet. He opened the drawers you told him to—the first and the third—and pulled out an oversized white t-shirt and wide sweatpants and walked back to you. He set the clothes next to you on the bed and kneeled on the ground.
First, he took one of your legs and placed it on his knee, carefully taking off the thigh-high sock and then setting it down and doing the same with your other sock. Next, he grabbed the sweatpants and pulled them up your leg and under the skirt so he could slip the skirt over the sweatpants without exposing your most intimate parts. He did the same with the shirt, pulling it over your corset after unclasping the waist chain. With the large shirt covering the corset, he reached his hands under the fabric and wound them around your waist until he found the zipper.
With his eyes on you, he began pulling down the zipper, at first a small tug to see if you’d change your mind and push him away, but when he saw no insecurity in your soft gaze he dragged it all the way down. His gentle hands grazed your bare sides as he removed the clothing item, causing your breath to hitch. If he noticed, he didn’t say anything as he got up to neatly put all the clothing he removed on top of the dresser.
Minutes later, he helped you remove your makeup and was now guiding you into your bed, pulling the covers over you. As soon as your head hit the pillow, you were nodding off into your dreams, barely registering San tenderly caressing your hair before moving to the door to let you sleep for the night.
“Thank you, Sannie.” You told him as you grabbed a hold of his hand.
He looked down at you and smiled, leaning down and pulling your hand to his lips, your skin tingling in the spot where he kissed it. “Anytime, princess. Good night.”
“Good night…” You covered half of your face with your blanket, your words slightly muffled. “I had fun today.”
“Really?” He smiled wider, a dimple surfacing on his cheek.
You nodded.
“Good, that’s all we cared about really. We just wanted you to have a good time.”
“I… Thank you, that’s very sweet of you. Of all of you…”
A look passed over his face and you had the feeling he was thinking about something, contemplating something. The mystery was soon solved as he leaned down again, this time placing a chaste kiss on your forehead before straightening himself out, switching off your lamp and leaving your room with a final “Good night.”
A smile lingered on your face even and you fell asleep as soon as the door of your room clicked shut. The next morning you stirred awake, moving to lay on your back to sit up with a groan. As you rubbed your eyes and your vision cleared, you looked around, distantly remembering a figure in a tanktop crouching on the ground.
Finally, your eyes zeroed in on your nightstand, a white pill and a small water bottle with a sticky note stuck to it were placed on top. You shuffled forward on your bed, gently peeling the note off the plastic and reading it, placing it in between the pages of your favourite sketchbook that you keep in the drawer of the same nightstand.
Take these when you wake up and make sure to eat well. - San

Hi! I saw your requests and you’re a great writer! I was wondering if I could request redson with a fem shy clumsy reader who falls for him first but he’s annoyed with her at first but slowly started falling hard.
Glowing Spark (Red Son x Fem! Shy! Reader)
When Red Son first met you, he didn't like you much
Your shy nature was annoying to him, the prince preferring people of 'stronger mentalities'
He thought you were weak with how you tripped over your own feet and bumped into things that were nowhere near you
While you were head over heels for him, he wanted little to do with you, often avoiding you or ignoring your words
As mean as he could be, Red Son still felt inklings of worry towards you
After all, you were close to his friends, and by default, you were also his friend even if he didn't care for it much
He didn't like how often you got hurt and how you could barely raise your voice, he hated how easily you could be overshadowed by a louder crowd
So, he taught you how to 'hold yourself to the way you should'
He wanted you to speak up more and to work on your general balance so you can prevent getting hurt as much as possible
First he was a stranger, then a mentor, and eventually, he grew closer to you all while you continued to love him more
His lessons became genuine advice, and your shy nature became endearing
His dislike faded into interest while your clumsiness became a part of what you are
Red Son stopped trying to change you after a while, instead becoming a shoulder for you to cry on and a semi-practiced healer for your scratches
You still bumped into things and could barely find room for your voice, but Red Son made space for you, speaking when you needed to heard and pulling you closer to him when you were going to bump into a particularly sharp table
In the end, Red Son saw past the clumsy shy girl you are, seeing true colors shine in you as he talked to you more
"Mouse girl!" Red Son's voice boomed in the distance as he walked calmly to you. "I've read your message. What do you need?"
You swallowed, trying to hold back the way your fingers trembled. Red Son had taught you about how to stop the shaking, but never about how to prevent it. You'd have to ask him sometime, but now was for something more important.
"Are you alright? Do I need to count breaths for you?"
You also had to remind yourself that Red Son sounded sarcastic every sentence he spoke--which certainly didn't help your apprehension. With a deep breath, you looked at the flame prince directly in the eyes, his body tensing slightly at the sudden eye contact.
"I love you." You held your back straight, trying not let your eyes waver as they burned with each second you looked at Red Son.
The prince was silent, blinking.
You felt your stomach drop as Red Son simply...stood there. You lowered your head slightly, taking another steady breath before you walked closer to the startled fire demon.
"I--I've loved you for a while now, and--and you told me to speak out more, so I want you know to know that, and that even if you don't like me back, I still want us to be friends."
With a pregnant beat, Red Son closed his gaping mouth, his eyes shutting as he sighed. "I should be proud of you."
"I should be proud of you," Red Son repeated with a growl, eyes burning into you. "But, now I'm just--ticked off!"
"What?"
Red Son groaned, hands in his face. "I've done all this work to help you boost your confidence and walk like you have a purpose, only for you to use my teachings against me?"
Red Son's hands clasped around your shoulders, his face contorting between anger and a shaky smile. "You dare have the strength to confess your love before I could myself?"
You blinked before laughing in your shock. Never in your lifetime did you expect to see the demon prince, red in the face with anger and embarrassment yet a joyous smile contradicting his expression.
"I could do without the humiliation, thank you." Red Son huffed, rolling his eyes.
You wave your hands apologetically while stifling your laughing. "I didn't expect you to say anything back honestly--you caught me off guard."
"Really? How come?" Red Son tilted his head.
You sighed, shoulders slumping from your elation. "You always seemed really angry with me. I never knew why, but I kind of thought you hated me."
Red Son stiffened, nearly hugging himself as his arms crossed.
"I...must admit I was," Red Son lowered his gaze in shame. "I never hated you per se, but--I was irritated with your lack of confidence and the way you attracted danger with every passing second."
"It was--annoying to see you get so hurt by the people around you and by your own hands, that...I had to do something." Red Son looked back at you, his eyes filled with a mix of regret and reminiscence.
"In the end, I grew fond of you...Fond enough that--I'd like to see you in my life more, forever."
You felt your face heating up, your eyes wide as Red Son finished. He walked up to you, his face as red as yours.
"My behavior was most unbecoming of the prince of the Demon Bull family, as such," Red Son choked slightly, clearing his throat from his nerves. "I want to apologize to you, and if I may be so bold, I ask that you allow me to court you, mouse girl."
You chuckled, covering your mouth as Red Son progressively became more flustered. "Of course, you silly thing."
"Really?" Red Son perked up before quickly composing himself. "Well then, excellent. Expect to see gift in your mailbox by next week, and...Thank you."
You smiled widely, hugging Red Son who sputtered slightly before hugging you back weakly.
Dusting himself off, Red Son stepped away. "Right then, I--erm--I should probably--"
"Would you like to go on a date with me next week?"
Red Son's fair flashed, sparks crackling through the air as he flustered once more, nearly yelling at you for taking him back once more. You merely smiled happily, seeing Red Son eventually smile back as well, his sheepish grin as bright as the sunset before you.
