#context: it was a 2008 high fantasy concept musical that got internet cult popular #the original (it was a puppet show?) is functionally lost media but the album is still in all the usual streaming places #and was very niche beloved for a while. the lyrics are not well written at all and are unrelentingly awkward #but it's very well composed and the melodies stick with you for a long time #and the overarching narrative is compelling even if its brazenly and bold facedly just doing an abridgment of the silmarillion #actually maybe i like it BECAUSE its just the silmarillion. as a weird charmingly awkward cult operatic musical #if you want to check it out but arent sure if youll like it start with the track 'holy the sea'#its the best music the album has to offer and it also gives you an accurate first impression of the overall feel to the musical #if you like it then start back at the beginning and listen through. if you dont like it then you wont like the rest #anyway #hi these are my designs that ive had for like 5 years. i think they should be little guys #razia's shadow #my art #also. brendon urie jumpscare warning. and also. oldschool high fantasy type misogyny

I’ve seen more posts about mizurui and ohh how will rui comfort mizuki in this situation what’s Rui’s reaction gonna be how will rui take this rui rui rui than mizuena since mizu5. do we have to make everything about one of the four guys in the game. Including an event heavily focusing on the relationship mizuki has with another girl. Serious contender for funniest (in a bad way) responses to a post I’ve seen in a while was the qrts to someone saying “it’s nice to see an implied sapphic transwoman in media bc it’s so rare. This is why I don’t like mizurui.” (benign and valid opinion). Someone said “Ena is just mizuki’s friend her relationship with rui is really romance coded you’re just an idiot.” Someone else said “can we stop posting our opinions on the internet” being 100% genuine. Another person said mizurui would have killed themselves in middle school if they hadn’t met.

Biggest folley of Motley and why it got so difficult for me to write was because I kept getting so caught up on trying to represent every aspect of their stories all at once anytime there were on screen, when really I need to remember that they are in fact Just Little Guys

#aaah. the difficulty of writing ocs youve had since middle school #to me they are at the end of their story. but to you ..... they are just random characters by a stranger on tha internet #i need to break them down to their core essentials again ..... work backwards #first few chapters are gonna get some minor edits to the art and dialogue #but i have a clearer view of what the next few chapters will be #glad i paused for a few weeks to work on far out (which is also looking super good. i love jane and galactica. theyre so funny)#its nice to make new characters fron scratch #the first few motley chapters are gonna get punched up and future ones will be overall funnier #kept trying to make it serious but it needs to be funny. otherwise this shit is gonna get depressing real quick lol

laying face down on the floor wondering if I am not seeing certain characters' relationships to the core themes of the game because I don't appreciate them enough/correctly or if they genuinely aren't super central to the core themes of the game

#shut up me #look as the number 1 gonta fan on this side of the internet #I can admit that wrt overall game's themes relevance... he is NOT high on the list #I truly feel like all v3 characters can easily hold their own in a character analysis essay #but in trying to think and write about the game's overall themes... there are definitely some more important than others #imo Shuichi is central. He's the beating heart of v3 #Kaito and kokichi esp as narrative foils are also essential #Kaede and Kiibo are important in a very specific way too #tsumugi too. obv #but I am really worried im missing something with Kaede + Maki + lesser extent himiko #because in looking at my current thoughts on kaede for game relevance.. it has me cringing and truly understanding that she was fridged #and my current thoughts on maki for game relevance are only THROUGH kaito.#And im like. staring into the mirror clutching at the sink.#Can I not see their significance because of misogyny or is it just that the game is like that #Anyway. if you need me i will be pacing circles into the floor thinking about my v3 essay

Unlike most of you all I wasn't a 1D fan when they were still together, I was marginally aware of them but never tried to truly pay attention. I was way into my twenties when Harry released his first album and I became his fan in a way that made me go back to listen to all of One Direction and watch everything I could find online, videos of concerts, interviews... And I got it™, I got why you all loved living through that and why you all loved the boys, and I loved them too even if in a different way.

It's impossible (or it has been to me) to be part of the Harry Styles fandom and not to pay attention and know what the other guys were doing (and parasocialy who they are), and my friends can testify on the fact that I had been worried about Liam for a while.

Liam was a lot of things for a lot of people through the years, and one thing doesn't deny the other, the boy he was when y'all remember him, when he helped shaping you as teens and children was still him, but he was also a much more complicated man than just that.

As always with fandom the most important thing is the friends you make along the way. I will always be thankful to One Direction because I owe them many friendships I have as an adult that are invaluable to me. And One Direction wouldn't have been without Liam.

I encourage you all to be kind to each other and to feel your feelings, as complicated as they might be, without shame 🩷

I had her for a very short time as almost all my sisterly villagers except Faith , since she left I have no sisterly villagers at all for the moment. I love her so much she missed me dearly as all my sisterly villagers I had. I have others pictures of her in my Canberra folder.She is so underrated as 80% of the animal from this game. How sad ! listing stuff for resale online and i'm just... so tired of taking pictures. cropping pictures. taking measurements. weighing out postage. finding boxes. writing descriptions. i'm so tired.

#i've been putting stuff up on mercari for like idk a year and a half ish now #started with mainly just stuff from the two book box subscriptions that i have if they aren't something i really want to read/keep #and then i started thinning out my bookshelves a little and listing those (standard edition) books #and now lately i've been putting up clothes that i've been decluttering from my closet #and those i've started cross-posting on poshmark too #and like i don't really have anything fancy other than some of the special editions from my book boxes #so i'm getting like two or three dollars for most of my sales #and it does add up. not to a lot. but. you know. better than nothing.#it's just... so tedious... for the two dollars...#buttttt also i've had several unexpected Big Expenses pop up #(tree damage from the tornado. hit and run car repairs. new insurance year so i haven't hit my out of pocket max for med expenses. etc.)#and it would be very nice to have a bit of extra cash coming in #like i'm okay overall #this isn't a dire situation by any means #i would just like to soften the blow a little ya know?#(and also complain on the internet while i'm doing that)
