Random question, but do you have any Motorcity headcanons you'd be willing to share? Like, not for any AUs or anything, but for the canon verse. Not that your AUs aren't amazing 'cause they all are. But I'd love to hear your take on canon. Only if you feel like sharing, though. :)

omg I have soooo many! I know I do a lot of work with AUs atm (no idea why they've taken over my life the way they have) but I think about canon A LOT. I definitely can go on and on but here are the first few that come to mind (both stupid and serious) Mike would call Julie 'kitten' romantically (I know this shows up in my Bridgerton inspired AU, but this is a straight across the board thing) Tooley defects to Motorcity. Not because he "believes in the cause" or anything like that, but because as Kane gets crazier, he'd just turn more to Red who shares his violent rages. We already know Tooley thinks Motorcity has cool parties (which they do) and that he and Texas get along - so I think it would only be a matter of time until his need for validation overtakes him and he ends up in Motorcity to hang out with the cool people. Naturally, he and Texas become chaos bffs Speaking of Red - I have a theory as to why he hates Mike to the extent he does. This one is a little more complicated but stick with me on this. Let's be honest, if the surface level story (which is one we only know from the bits and pieces Mike put together himself) was the whole thing, then he could hate Mike to the same degree, but there's no way in hell he'd work with Kane either. So... there has to be more to it. Something to do with Mike's direct actions. Kane may have been the catalyst but it all has to come down to what Mike did or DIDNT do. I think it wasn't the destruction of the building that really did it. The building wasn't what was important (after all, we've seen Kane destroy buildings all the time. Not to say that it wouldn't hurt or cause anguish, but sadly, this is probably something many Motorcitizens have already dealt with). The important bit was who was in the building. I think that when Mike was helping evacuate the building, as it was being demolished, he missed someone. And whoever that someone was, they didn't make it out, and that person meant a lot to Red (parent, sibling, lover, etc. take your pick here really). Red's hate doesn't come from his home being destroyed, but that, as far as he sees it, Mike is the direct reason he lost this person. Now imagine on top of that the horror Mike would feel upon learning this. Okay back to sillier ones as a palate cleanser: Chuck can rap when he's drunk. I know this is dumb and super specific, but I once knew this guy who was similar to Chuck and somehow, someway, he knew every word to the hardest rap songs. I just need you all to imagine this: frail, lanky guy. Totally unassuming. Gets tipsy and starts spitting out all of rap g-d without missing a beat. This is one we've kinda talked about before, but I think Julie is musically inclined. She and Mike are the only Burners who's lives are just the Burners/we don't see them with independent hobbies. Mike makes sense because he went straight from one army to another. But Julie? She had to do something before the Burners. We know that Kane has a media team (those commercials haunt me I swear) and he absolutely has the vibes of a guy who twists the arts into propoganda. There's no way Julie was a kid who was good with just sitting still and with Claire being her only estabished childhood friend/confidant, she'd need to be doing more than just existing. So Kane threw her into a bunch of Kane Co extra curriculars and music stuck. She spent years learning to play instruments and singing in the Kane Co. choir. Her rebellion started when she got bored of the Kane approved music lists and learned to break into the systems to get into the restricted libraries to learn more. She gave it all up when she became a Burner. There was no longer any time for herself really and even when there was, it's been tainted to her and makes her question the amount she fed into the progranda machine. That being said, she does eventually start playing again, but it takes a long time for her to feel comfortable with it. I have soooo many more, but this feels like a good starting list to throw out there!

How did it affect your life? I have seveeeere sleep apnea. It's shocking, I never would've guessed it, though, so the diagnosis (I had a sleep study, so yes, it's legit) was an extreme surprise. I don't snore at all, nor do I like pass out in the middle of something, but I stop breathing A LOT. For a year or two (no, that is not an exaggeration), it caused consistent, horrible, and violent nightmares/terrors. It made sleep frightening to me, and I was never getting a truly restful sleep. Now, I have an APAP mask (like a less extreme version of a CPAP mask) that helps me greatly. I only very rarely am surprised by a more subtle nightmare now. Have you ever had food poisoning before? Describe the experience. No, thankfully. What are two things that you have no problem paying full price for? Quality tattoos, for one. And maybe uhhh... idk. We're the kind of family that buys off-brand foods and drinks all the time because it's cheaper, so I can't say that. Maybe health care? Writing Asks

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted

started in eighth grade after moving which fucked me up (i’m still to recover lmao) n i needed a distraction, reading had always helped but writing is what let me see what the root of my agony was. (im not trying to be pretentious i swear) i first started on wattpad (love hate relationship to this day) and beginning of lockdown this year gravitated to ao3 which has been my saving grace !!!

2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?

so far i’ve mostly written in louis’ pov. i’ve had to ask this question in the early stages — i resonate the closest to harry. most of my wips are harry centric for that reason. i mean, yes and no — i tend to take some part of me and fit it into the character but at the same time i don’t like seeing me on a page so yes and no.

3. where do you often find inspiration?

EVERYWHERE. mostly others’ stories be it in the way of songs, music, writing, art. usually it’s me coming across a vaguely aesthetic picture and my brain spitting out one or two random scenes and me trying to make that a story.

4. has quarantine helped or hindered your writing process?

both !!! i have new wips but also i lost a lot of motivation to do anything for a bit. school is sucking the soul out of me — it’s both easier and harder with it being online, the worst part is i can never truly feel like i’m getting a break from it. recently it’s been easier for me bc of the friends i made (ily all) it’s hindered a little bit bc i can’t go out and watch people and streetlights and the blur of cars and try to pour out that feeling into words and create something. at the same time it’s helped me gain more perspective on people and relationships which has been a massive help to writing in general.

5. do you listen to music/noise while you write or do you prefer silence?

depending on the number of classes i have/attend, my mental stability, the story and my sensitivity. i often can’t stand loud noises so there’s that but there is always some noise or the other so it’s never truly silent. i like it that way. sometimes i just play intense studying playlist on spotify and write, Lucida by Odin Sørlie and Haunted Heart by Dawn, Dawn, Dawn are my favourites.

6. what is your biggest writing pet peeve in your writing or in general?

excessive usage of the same word in mine. in general, i’m not a fan of stereotypical characters or romanticising harmful themes.

7. describe your ideal writing setup

2 am, in bed, music still ringing in my ears, three texts from my best friend about a story or about their day. under the blanket, the room smelling of chocolate or something sweet.

8. favorite time of day to write?

anytime but afternoon. those hours are for naps.

9. favorite genre to write + one you’d like to try writing in the future?

fiction? i’d love to write a fantasy au 👀

10. do you struggle with writer’s block? how do you typically overcome it?

yep yep. i just edit an old story or read my old works or other writers’ fics. i gave up trying to force myself into writing — i hated the end product and felt bad so.

11. what is the easiest part of your writing process and the most difficult?

probably the emotions? dialogue without a doubt — i dread writing it. it doesn’t come to me naturally. i can write lengths without dialogue tbh. also smut — it’s an eh eh aspect.

12. how do you come up with original characters? (if applicable)

my wonderful friends. they do dumb shit and i want to tell the world about their dumb shit so i make characters out of them.

13. what is your favorite and least favorite word?

as of now it is fucker — delightful word that one. least favourite is probably squelch — just no.

14. what is one thing about your writing that you’re really proud of and one thing you hope to continue working at?

the dreamy feeling i manage to write without a doubt !!!! dialogue and pacing. i don’t have the best dialogue or the pacing or the length for fics but i’m working on all of those !!

15. what work of yours has your favorite ‘verse/world building? how did you come up with it?

still a wip so i can’t tell you much except that it’s a proper treat. will write this once i’ve posted that fic !!

16. what font and size do you write in? single spaced or double?

*nervous laughter* the font changes from fic to fic — crush is comic sans, size 11. October was Lora, 11. Twisted in bedsheets is courier new, 11. stargazing is spectral, 11. so yeah — whatever the fic demands. single spaced !!!! except when i’m overwhelmed i do double spaces.

17. what is a typo(s) you find yourself making consistently?

I Cannot Type. if you think i can — congratulations you were fooled. autocorrect is the loml.

18. (if applicable) do you separate fic writing from fandom?

of course !!!! i basically do not exist out of my writing.

19. what emotion is your favorite to write? which is the most difficult?

pain, pining, longing. lust.

20. what is one thing you hope readers always take away from your works?

we’re all fucked up but we’re trying and trying sometimes is enough. you shouldn’t spend your life carved out around one person. it’s okay to ask for help and need a shoulder to lean on. i hope these come across in my future fics !!!!

21. what is the best and worst writing advice you’ve ever received?

bold of you to assume i’ve ever received advice.

22. which one of your works would you most want to see turned into a film/television show?

a new fic. will update the answer once that fic is out !!!!!

23. do you write scenes chronologically or out of order?

chronologically. i can’t do out of order. i do have a page full of scribbles but they are to tell me the order sjakmd.

24. how do you handle criticism?

if it’s constructive then well. no thick skin tbh. makes me feel as if i need validation from someone else on my art which isn’t necessary but my brain is wired to seek it and it’s a hassle.

25. what is the advice you would give to someone who is looking to start writing?

write everything you would want to read. write it bad, don’t worry about the quality. don’t worry about the audience. end of the day, it should be something you can turn to for comfort not something that makes you feel bad.

26. what kind of feedback on your work always makes your day?

people telling me they like my writing and it could take them out of this world for a few minutes !!!!!

27. which fic ‘verse of your own would you most like to exist in? which fic’s characters would you most like to befriend?

probably crush verse !!!! harry — his is probably the one character where i dump most of me in.

28. what do you always enjoy getting asks about/wish people would ask about more?

rant to me about anything. i enjoy talking. ask me about wips so i can take the little guilt and write more.

it’s nice to let go and express things and create characters with a better situation than mine.

I have had 11 sleep studies done, because my breathing will just stop randomly, which luckily my brain wakes me. it doesn’t really affect my like severely.. I function normally. but shoooooot, if I got normal levels of sleep i’d be a force to be reckoned with.

Have you ever had food poisoning before? Describe the experience. Yes. It was AWFUL. vomiting for 2 days straight. it was so gross.

I think there have been times where i’ve let people have more access to me than they should have had. or there have definitely been times I’ve been used in school groups. Every single track and how I feel as of today on it, which I will keep updating as times goes on, with dates as to when I do update per song, just for my own personal reference to look back on. I wish I had written down the first 3 songs before today, but it is what it is.

I Forgot That You Existed  - (8-16-19) My initial thought is that things song is about her haters maybe? Like she doesn’t even think of them anymore? She’s so happy, she forgot they exist? OR her past loves? Like none of them matter now that’s found her love that she was looking for all along? (8-23-19) This song is literally exactly what I assumed it would be about, but the sound and the exact way she went about it is just perfect. I love it oh so much, and it was strong a strong way to start the album, and the PERFECT transition from Reputation. “It isn’t love, it isn’t hate, it’s just indifference”

Cruel Summer - (8-16-19) Track 2′s have historically been THAT song for me, so I have high hopes for this song. I can’t wait!!! And I deff think it’s about the summer of 2016. A cruel summer for Taylor and all. (8-23-19) - The way she says “He looks up grinning like a devil” just ehurtehguerghre. It’s almost very Halsey like, that one part, but I love it. I love the way it’s said, the emotion behind it, and the entire bridge is what makes me love this song as much as I do. This song is truly bridge city. 

Lover - ( 8-16-19) The last line of the verses give me actual chills each time I hear it, and I teared up completely the first time I ever listened. It just shows how happy she is, and truly in love she is as well. This song screams LOVE in the loudest way possible. In a way that is explained in the way it makes you feel when you listen. Her voice is so smooth on it, and I hope I always have the reaction to this song I did upon my first listen. I get emotional even just thinking about it. (8-23-19) - Still such a strong song. So glad it was released early and is a single. It deserves it. It’s truly her most romantic song she’s ever had. It’s perfect.

The Man - (8-16-19) I’m very curious to actually hear this song. We know the basis of it already with her saying that it’s about if she were a man how she’d been treated differently, but the actual song, and how it will unfold, I’m just curious to see. (8-23-19) - It’s sad how true this song is, and how she says so much, in such an upbeat manner, about a topic that is so serious. I enjoy the beat, and the overall song, even if not a complete fave. It’s a bop nonetheless. the part where she calls out Leo is amazing, and I’m so happy it’s there.

The Archer - ( 8-16-19) This is 100% a both earphones in kind of song. The almost haunting sound of it is part of what makes it work so well, and the heartbeat sound behind it just adds so much to it. The lyrics “Who could ever leave me darling, but who could stay” just hit in a way that I did not ask for. (8-23-19) - This song stands out so much on the album, as such a different type of love song. A haunting, beautiful song, that is such a unique part of the album, that I am glad she included within it. The more I just digest the lyrics, the more it breaks my heart.

I Think He Knows - (8-16-19) My mind 100% goes to this being about Joe, and him knowing how much she loves him, without her having to tell him in all these songs or at all? He just knows. That’s what I am assuming. (8-23-19) - Another song that the title did say exactly what it was, but my gosh, the way she sings it, the beat, the quickness of certain parts, and the way she delivers lines. And just. Her saying what pulls her into Joe, and also her “He better lock it down or i won’t stick around” Tehtrghre. Taylor is like “marry me or bye” ALSO He’s so obsessed with me and boy I understand. She loves herself, and I love it.

Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince - (8-16-19) I honestly have no idea at all what this could be about. My thought process has gone from something to do with Taylor and Joe, to somehow just being about a friend of hers or something? I guess it could be like call it what you want 2.0? Just about what people perceive about them? OR is it about like her past relationships, and playing off of what people said about all of them? I’m just excited to see what it is! (8-23-19) - Call it what you want 2.0 seems to be kind of what this is, in a certain way? idk. I enjoy this one so much though. I love her going back to 16, and the picture she paints of life as homecoming, and high school, and it never really changing, and just the way the world is painted so vividly, in such a different way. And god, her voice. It’s just. Amazing. It’s such a cool concept for a song. I just love that about it more than anything else. It’s such a vivid image in my head. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes are some of my favorite lyrics on the album. ALSO, It's you and me, that's my whole world. She’s literally hiding from the entire world with him, because he’s it. He’s her world. wrhweuhreguhregu.

Paper Rings - (8-16-19) Did they make papers rings in their living room? Because she’s not wearing any formal ring publicly? You know, if the whole “they could be engaged/married” angle is at all right lol. That’s where I’m going with that. Something to do with rings that just made. Clearly, that’s too obvious, and it’s not that, but it’s all I can think atm. (8-23-19) - OMG, this song makes me so happy. It’s so old school, and happy, and makes me feel like I think Shake it Off and Me! do for so many. I just can’t help but smile and love the beat soooooo much. I LIKE SHINY THINGS BUT I’D MARRY YOU WITH PAPER RINGS!!! Just. I love this song so much. It’s the song I did not know I needed this much. I needed it oh so much, and how much it makes me smile. Every single part of this song just hits me in the best way. It makes my heart feel so much, and it’s just hard to explain how much things song already means to me. My reaction the first time hearing the shiny things/paper rings line was just me being ewuhreuhgeurgheur. I was just so in love with it from the first moment, and awwing so much. She’s so cute and in love.

Cornelia Street - (8-16-19) NEW YORK!! I can’t wait to hear this song!! I might be most excited for it? I love New York so much, my favorite city in the world, PLUS it’s name is my fave character from my childhood (From W.I.T.C.H.) And so this song just pulls me in already, and I can’t wait to see what it’s fully about. (8-23-19) - I had no idea what to expect, but what I got was not what I thought, with the beautiful flowers as an easter egg. This song is so heartbreaking. Just the thought of losing someone who means so much, you could never go somewhere again. That honestly hits me hard and is probably why this song means so much to me. I understand that oh so much. ALSO, her voice is so beautiful, and those lyrics. And this song will forever mean a lot to me, from here on out. And now I want to go to Cornelia street, when I visit NYC again someday and just sob. This song really means a lot to me, and I've noticed the more a song means to me, the hardest it is to put into words. The shake of her voice during one of the ending parts, just hits me so hard, and I’m so glad this song was so different from what I imagined in my head. I got emotional on my first listen through. Just thinking of how much it hurts to lose someone who means everything to you, and how much Taylor loves Joe.

Death By A thousand Cuts - (8-16-19) My heart aches just thinking about this being about her being cut from so many different angles, and then she’s saved by the fans and Joe. Like that’s where my mind is with this title. I want to think it’s still like a happy song, but has sad things about it? Like finding the light through all those cuts? I can’t wait to see how wrong I am about 90% of these lol. (8-23-19) - This song sounds like a Christmas song to me! Like in parts, the beat and the way it sounds, it just does. Which is such a good thing tbh lol. Also, the lyrics are amazing, and this is another fave. Tbh it’s 3 faves back to back. 8-10 are some of my faves on the entire album. Such a strong trio within the album. This is such a good heartbreak song. “But if the story's over, why am I still writing pages?“ And ehrtuehtuerhguerher. ALSO the way she sings it is probably one of my fave vocals. I just really enjoy the sound of this one, on top of the lyrics oh so much. And the bridge. Wow. I can’t even pick a favorite part, because the entire song honestly is. Besides Lover, this song is my #1. And I was so nervous when this song started, because of the song before it, and the title, and just, I wasn’t emotionally ready.

London Boy - (8-16-19) If this is not just a song about Joe, then I will be really shocked. Just about her falling in love with her London Boy.  (8-23-19) - It’s a cute song. I think it’s sweet she has such an obvious song about Joe, and their life in London, but I also can’t say it’s a fave. It’s cute though, and I do hope to see it live, and get to see what visuals she would put with it. I’m sure it would be adorable. It’s also SUPER catchy, and I just know it’ll get stuck in my head! I also spent quite a few long minutes freaking out, trying to decide if that was Joe at the start, and being way too happy thinking it was, then I saw that it was Idris Elba. Still exciting, but not quite the same lol.

Soon You’ll Be Better - (8-16-19) A song about healing if of course what I think with that title. About getting through something tough, and just knowing that soon it’ll be over, and everything will be better. There’s always a light at the end of a tunnel, and clearly, Taylor has found it, and that is what I think this song is about. (8-23-19) - One of the most heartbreaking songs I’ve ever listened to. The only time I’ve ever had to actually step away from an album before I could finish it. It just broke me. I couldn’t simply sit there and listen to it after that song played. I had to step away, and take a moment to gather my emotions. My mom is everything to me, and it just hits a bit too hard and close to home. And I’d rather not listen again anytime soon. It’s beautiful, but a one time listen for sure. My heart can’t take much more.

False God - (8-16-19) I think of quite a few men when I hear this song. People who think they can say and do whatever they want, and just get away with it. Kanye, Trump, Scooter, etc. They think they are invincible, and that’s 100% where my mind goes with a title like that. (8-23-19) - Honestly, my least fave on the album. Which doesn’t mean it’s horrible, but it’s not anywhere close to what I would say is a Taylor Song I adore. It’s just... the beat is weird, the lyrics are not my favorites. And I just can’t get into it.

You Need To Calm Down - ( 8-16-19) So the first time I heard this song, was a very memorable moment. Sitting in my room, hearing Taylor Swift sing “Shade never made anybody less gay” was such an etyrtewhrrt moment. This song is my fave upbeat of the two released by far. It gets stuck in my head 24/7, and I really love the beat, meaning, and fun nature of something as serious as how cruel people can be to others. And the video! OMG. It’s amazing, and so colorful, and just. WOW. ALSO, the way she sings the bridge is my favorite thing, I can’t even explain why it just is.  (8-23-19)

Afterglow - (8-23-19) The only song I did not post about before release, and I don’t know why. I think I just forgot about it? For some reason... But honestly, it’s also that on the album for me. It’s good, but it’s not a complete fave. I think it’s interesting to see this side of Taylor, admitting that side of her, and where she pushes people away, and how she reacts to things. I do enjoy that she included a song like this, about a fight that did not end in goodbye. She paints such a vivid picture so well, and I can just close my eyes and see it all so easily. And I do love that oh so much. 

Me! - ( 8-16-19) Is this my favorite Taylor song ever? No. But I deff recall the day, and even the week it came out, how excited I was, and how it made me feel. It makes me smile so much. It’s such a feel-good song. And to see Taylor in such a good place, and accepting that she’s important to everyone as HER and all that is amazing. I think it doesn’t hit hard emotionally, but that doesn’t make it less of a song. Some songs should just be fun to sing along with and fill you with joy, and that’s what this one does for sure. (8-23-19) - I found a newfound love for this song, when I needed it oh so much after soon you’ll get better, and it gave me such a good little dance break with my sister. It was such a happy moment, following not long after that heartache, and I loved having it.

It’s Nice to Have a Friend - (8-16-19) Joe? Her parents? Selena? Fans? There are so many people this song could be about. Those who were there for her through all the tough times, and actually were there for her and didn’t just leave. ORRRRR it could be very sarcastic, like TIWWCHNT, and be about those who leave, and just being like ‘oh it’s so nice to have a friend’ in the worst way? Now I’m curious to see how this song actually goes lol. (8-23-19) - This sounds like a final song on an album if that makes sense. And it’s odd that it’s not. It’s a cute little song, but that’s really what it seems like. Just a short ending song, to round everything together. I enjoy it though, for exactly what it is. And just to see the progression of friendship with love over the years. It’s such a cute transition, from childhood love to marriage. And I love it. It’s adorable.

Daylight - (8-16-19) Step out of the dark and into the daylight. I am picturing a slow, beautiful song, about leaving behind the dark and finding the light in life, and I’m so ready for it!! (8-23-19) - What an amazing song to wrap up the entire album with. It’s so beautiful, and the perfect summary up of the entire album. It’s about happiness, and her love, and not the people who hurt her as the album before was so filled with. And I love that so much. I love the call back to Red, and how much her life has changed since that heartbreak way back then. I love the imagery she paints within this song, and how bright she paints her world, even if it’s just the two of them, and the rest is still the darkness of Reputation. It’s beautiful.

1. Are there any tropes you’d like to see more of in pro fic (aka… traditionally published books)? If so, which ones?

tbh, I haven’t really picked up any books lately. whenever I feel like reading I feel like a v specific set of characters and setup, and fanfic is perfect for that while traditionally published fiction is not.. but ??tropes?? idk. are they all tropes? who ever cares. STUFFS I love include: 

COFFEE SHOP/BOOK STORE AUs (geonncannon has some p cool published fiction with similar content; also Ferry Tale... dudes and dudettes... pls read that. I know I say that every year but I really do mean it), CROSSOVERS of any kind, when I feel sentimental SOULMATE AUs (but mostly the less traditional ones. like.. friend soulmates are v cool too),  anything SUPERNATURAL like GHOSTS!! or vampires/werewolves (teenage me was v into those and sometimes still gets to run around and play), ANYTHING KINDA TWISTED AND MESSED UP tbh (don’t ask me to explain that pls omg.. imagine dub-con, ppl fucking themselves up bc they’re messed up and need years of therapy, all of that. 2. What art and/or craft would you like to pick up but haven’t for whatever reason?

anything I’m into and haven’t picked up is bc I tried it once, wasn’t good at it right away and promptly decided to give up on it, lol but if we’re talking as if I could do it, and do it well - hm.. I guess I’d love to be better at building things from scratch (think furniture, houses, the like) and also engineering abilities... I admire people who can do that shit and make sth cool, even if it’s shitty robots (SIMONE, YOU PERFECT JELLY BEAN - ILY)

3. What is your favourite cold/iced beverage?

there’s this one non-alcoholic cocktail... Mosquito I think? that’s p dope. but if we’re going all basic then it’s prob a tie between vanilla coke and cocoa idk

4. What is your preferred spice level? How hot is too hot for, idk, chili or curry or hot sauce or wasabi?

look, I so pale... I like spicy foods, but my body hates them. and they make my mouth burn and my eyes water and it’s nice when I’m sick, but otherwise I think I’m prob p bland in my choices of spice. the whole stereotype of white ppl and pepper+salt being their only spices doesn’t exist without reason, lol. I wish I could tolerate them more, bc I like chili and curry and loads of pepper, but it just hurts and I’m all about keeping my body (and asthma) on safe levels.

Kati Morton - for mental health stuff and just having a caring person talk about stuffs Peter Draws - bc he does what he says and he’s a p cool, p weird guy but he also cares about you and wants you to do you, and I dig that. (also his voice is super calming and sometimes I watch his stuff so I can doze off when I’m having a hard time falling asleep) Cooking with Sros // Rural Life (I think that’s where I first started watching her videos) - bc it’s calming to watch her cook super neat dishes that are traditional where she lives (also - sometimes she walks around in her garden and just PICKS STUFF UP bc IT GROWS THERE and I just think that’s the coolest bc you couldn’t even get some of those ingredients here, so like... that’s an entirely different thing I’ll prob never know enough about Simone Giertz - bc she’s awesome and so FUNNY!! and cute and awkward and hella smart, and... before the whole brain tumor thing I would have said I’d love to have a peek around in her brain, but now.. if all goes well she’ll have an actual picture of it to look at, and maybe it’s not cool to be excited for her..?? but yeah, she builds stuff WITH HER OWN TWO HANDS, and she has to know SO MUCH to do it, and just... 6. Do you keep mementos of old relationships? Why/why not?

HAH! FUCK. I do. have. will? sometimes I ask myself why I keep them and don’t just burn them or whatever (throwing them away wouldn’t be nearly cathartic enough an experience for me), and maybe this is still the grieving part of me that’s looking to haunt itself? idk

all I know is that so far I’ve kept letters. I’ve kept hoodies. and.. idk what I kept out of that one relationship.... can’t remember atm, but that one hurt far too much to keep a lot of reminders around.

7. What sort of music do you put on when you do chores, like dishes or laundry?

my go-to song used to be Eye of the Tiger, but these days it’s mostly podcasts or the music of the mood/day/week (those songs you listen to on repeat for hours after you’ve (re)found them.)

8. Is there any scent you particularly love? Which one?

it used to be musk, like.. those scented burning sticks..(that’s prob not the right English name for them, lol) but I guess... the good rain smell maybe? (not the bad smells-like-snails-and-slugs-and-dead-worms rain smell). also some roses and some paeonies.. I’m picky tho. and forever fave LAVENDER

9. Do you like to cook? What’s your signature dish?

I do, actually. when my kitchen doesn’t look like shit bc my emotional state and therefore life has derailed

and eh.. it’s like a paprika bellpepper tomato soup.. with salami and feta cheese and sometimes corn, sometimes rice, sometimes minced meat. always depends on the mood and what I have lying around. not so much a signature dish as it is what I make most often, mostly for myself. 

10. What’s your fave ice cream flavour that you can’t get in most places?

it’s gained in popularity, but - after-eight. for sure. anything minty with chocolate is amazing to me.

11. What’s your current favourite outfit?

uhm.. I don’t really have favourite outfits, I just have favourite articles of clothing (THEY’RE MY FAVOURITES. THEY’RE ALL MY FAVOURITES. ALL OF THEM) and I tend to mash them together without a care in the world... well, mostly I care about temperatures and sun exposure bc I burn like a crisp in the sun, it’s not pretty.

but lately I’ve been wearing the european tour shirt from the My Favorite Murder live show bc I WAS THERE AND IT WAS THEEEEE SINGULAR BEST THING OF THE YEAR (aside from getting through my final exams). also, I love my old pair of Chucks, the blue leather kind, and the soles are falling apart and it’s all kinds of battered and worn out, but I love them. they make me happy. also there’s some striped black and white socks and some white dotted black underwear and some super comfortable black shorts. but what really is just LOVE still. and prob always. until death do us part - I have this super soft, super floofy, sways around in the wind, lets all the wind through the knitted structures of it, blue-ish, button-able long swishy swooshy ...jacket? apparently it’s called a cardigan, AND YES I HAD TO GOOGLE THAT. Appearance:

I have long brown and blue hair, brown eyes and a long thin nose. My face is quite rectangular, and I have olive skin tone (but pretty light compared to others). I am chubby and well-proportioned I’d say. My nails are always short (except for holiday season because my nails won’t constantly break like during work) and usually some kind of varnish is on it. 50% of the time I wear clothes with some kind of pattern on it or colourful stuff, 25% of the time black and 25% pink shit, and always my casio on my wrist. I have 2 tattoos and 4 piercings, one stretched earlobe. Usually I wear make-up, and everyone knows me for wearing colourful eyeshadow.

Personality:

I am quite outgoing and like spending time with my friends and family and partner, but as much as I love having people around me, I need time to be alone. I just need to. I try to have an open ear for other people’s problems, but be prepared I might cry along with you because I am a very emotional person (like on Friday I was in a concert and started crying because the song was so touching lol). I’d say I am quite confident, but I need time adjusting in a new environment before returning to my confident self. At work I am the most patient person, but with my family I tend to be impatient a lot and I hate myself for it, but it’s getting better. I am very creative and love dwelling on details on random stuff (like I could tell you for an hour why I like a particular song for example). That’s also a reason why I can’t get shit done sometimes because I daydream a lot. Like… a lot… one person told me I remind them of Luna Lovegood because I seem trapped in my own bubble. I love arts. I used to be super tidy as a child, but now I am quite messy. I am often late (sorry to anyone affected by this v.v°). I love travelling. My bag is always ready for my nomad life, as I am always on the go.

I speak 3 languages! Also I draw and make jewellery. Experiences:

Well? I don’t know what this refers too… Maybe some random shit: -I used to do traditional greek dance as a kid. -I’ve never left Europe (sadly), but I’ve travelled to London, Vienna, Paris, Berlin and other cities. -When I was a smoll bean, I went to the central plaza of my dad’s village in Greece and returned with a puppy in my arms. My grandmother kept the pupper. -I love freaking LOVE technology, when I used my huge ass multitalented wireless printer for the first time and printed something via my phone I almost cried in excitement. -I can stop reading a book if it’s boring. -Once on my way home I sat in the tram, and there was a group of friends, drunk, pretty loud and happy, they were wearing traditional Bavarian clothing (Tracht), and they were …deaf! And one of the girls sat opposite to me, and complimented my hair, like we talked without using words, only by using our facial expressions and our hands, and she grabbed on piece of her hair and pointed at mine and we laughed, and then she offered me some of her vodka and I was so yolo at the moment I accepted, although I don’t accept drinks from strangers usually. I had such a blast these 10 minutes we spent together on the tram, I often think about her, and hope she is doing fine :’) - I remember as a young girl, I was sitting on an old faucet which was built in the short wall framing my grandparents’ house, and I was starring at the sky in disbelief. There I was, a young city girl, born and raised in Munich, sitting on an old faucet somewhere in an small village in Greece starring at the beautiful nightsky, seeing something I’ve never seen before. There were so many stars, just…so… so many stars… thousands and thousands of shiny dots across a black canvas. And they seemed to be alive. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Till this day, I remember this night, and I hear my mom asking what I was doing out there alone, surrounded by the wild noises of thousands of bugs around me. It has been more that 10 years, and this night is so vibrant in my memory. I will never forget this moment till my dying day. Still, I often spent time in Greece watching the stars, always in the back of my mind what my grandma told me once: don’t count the stars, it brings misfortune. - I pierced my ears on my own (…stupid). - I pretty much had my hair dyed any colour of the rainbow (except yellow, but I guess blonde counts?). - I’ve been to A LOT of concerts.

(I have some negative experiences too of course, but I don’t want to dwell on them) My life:

I still live with my parents, because I cannot afford anything on my own atm, but also due to other circumstances. Till the end of September I worked full time, now I started studying sociology (BA). I have been employed in the company I work for for 10 years now, and I love my work although it’s tough :’). I have a little sister who I love dearly, and she is making me a proud big sis:). My parents are the best parents, seriously you could not wish for better parents. I am super grateful to them for all I’ve been able to do in my life and all the love and support they have given, and are still giving me. Also, I’m so proud of them. The thought of what my parents have gone through makes me cry. I used to think I don’t have a lot of friends, but I do! And they all are beautiful unique personalities, I love them! I live the nomad live, as I feel I’m rarely home, always on the go. My co-workers are the sweetest people, I love seeing their faces light up when they see me :’) (ILY!!!) And my partner… there are no words to describe what sweet of a person he is. A puppy is nothing against him. I want to cuddle him forever. I am online a lot, but I don’t get involved with a lot of people online, safe for… 2 :’D Rach and Mine! I usually admire from afar, and fangirl in the tags for example. Overall I wake up everyday being thankful, my life is good! I appreciate every moment. I am blessed.
