teletubbie clarification: i didn’t wear it every day it was only on special occasions
#my middle school was wildly small. like my grade had 30 people#and they also had houses for some reason. so if you showed up in your house colours on house game days whoever was most spirited got points#and in 6th grade I was like ‘oh I’m gonna fuckin win’ and rolled up painted purple and in a teletubbie suit#and everyone was like ‘I’m obsessed with this. what the fuck is wrong with you’#and the school was small enough that the girls who would be popular in a larger school didn’t really have the same status#but i was known for being kinda nuts and it all started with the teletubbie costume#but yeah turns out if your school is small enough popularity is decided by who seems fun rather than who has the popular girl/popular boy#skills#other middle school exploits included me playing the sultan in Aladdin jr and basing my characterisation off of starkid’s ‘twisted’
