What do you order at a café? If I feel indulgent (or it's raining), a latte - a london fog or dirty chai; if it's a good coffee place or I'm being miserly, an espresso or black coffee; if I feel nostalgic, a café au lait. With baked goods my allegiance must first be won by trial but than I will loyally order that item from that cafe forever. Which season do you feel at home in? A mild and sunny summer, a prairie winter, or spring anywhere it gets cold enough that you notice that first day you can smell earth again.

If you were to cultivate a fruit orchard, what would you grow? I am cultivating a small fruit orchard! I've got half a dozen fruit trees right out my window :) I inherited Bosc and Comice pears, and a truly tragic cherry⁠—can't remember the cultivar off the top of my head—and planted myself last spring: Italian prune plums, and two apple cultivars: Cox's Orange Pippin, and Kerr, a crabapple cross.

I also cultivate dreams of growing citrus in a geothermal greenhouse <3
