while we are on the topic of "danny doesn't have to be nice to still have moments of compassion for other ppl when it counts" is that sometimes supposedly nice ppl can be fake as hell and fucking bitches you wanna know how ik that look @ how fucking vlad acts around danny's parents vs how he shows his true colors towards danny in private

#meanwhile danny isn't afraid to be mean and open abt that fact #but can still have basic human decency towards someone who he comes to understand is hurting and needs help #THAT'S THE KEY DIFFERENCE #and imo as a poc i understand that nuance of nicety being fake bc of how white ppl can “compliment” ppl who look like me #but if u actually take a sec to realize what they're ACTUALLY saying it's a microaggression #it's not a compliment actually it's completely backhanded #robi rambles
