one of the things i love about Hobie's character that i think the writers did incredibly, is that he is on Miles' side almost as soon as he meets the kid. from giving him advice, to reminding him about said advice when Miles' was trapped, he judged Gwen for lying to Miles and showed a lot of disappointment about the fact that she lies, he set up a scheme to help Gwen to get back to Miles' universe to try and help him, this kid is literally doing so much to make sure that Miles not only gets away from HQ but also saves his dad. he's Miles' only ally during this time where basically everyone was trying to get him to just accept what was gonna happen and those people were willing to do Anything to make sure that the canon event happened.

i'm so excited for the next movie bc there's rumor that they will explore Hobie's universe more, which is. So Awesome. i hope they bring in his friends from the comics (Karl, Kamala, Riri, literally anyone from that universe i am desperate to see in the third movie) i wanna see the Spider-van from the Spiderpunk comics and hear the words "Spider-band" AT LEAST ONCE. it's obvious that a lot of people underestimate him, but this is honestly working in his favor because it means he is just doing shit and No One notices.

anyways there's my little rant. i just Really love that fucking movie and all of the details in it. holy shit.
