OKAY but imagine dazai, shortly after oda’s death, taking over winter during his hiatus without anybody knowing. and as the previous anon said, he watches chuuya sleep. chuuya sometimes wakes up, but is still very much half asleep and he sleepily mumbles something and dazai just shushes him, tucks his hair in his ear, and plants a lil kiss on his forehead. chuuya curses his mind for haunting him with remnances of dazai.

dazai only stops taking over winter when he sees a newcomer slicing down ice floes (hmmm… i’m thinking atsushi might take this role! but its up to you! he volunteered as winter watch in my mind bcs he realizes that his inclusions arent particularly picky on which type of light they feed on! i think hed be a moonstone! because “beast beneath the moonlight” plus there’s a moonstone type called a cat’s eye! i also feel like ryuu and gin are both gonna be onyxes, sskk will both have a hardness of 6.5 and have. a weird rivalry… also dazai gets a whiplash when he sees a flash of someone wearing a white uniform suddenly roaming around the land except he hasnt seen this person before)

OH MY GOD. You doing the world building for me I love you for this.I was worried about making the characters fit, but YOU GOT IT DOWN. The Chuuya loving…Dazai would do this any universe, but this one is so bittersweet. Chuuya sleeping in his own secluded corner ever since Dazai left since they hibernated together and still being haunted by Dazai😭 he would hate sleeping then even more then being awake cause Dazai is physically touching him so the feeling is real, but painfully too far away for chuuya to recognize. I like to think dazai would spend days wasting away watching Chuuya spread out in his sleeping attire and tracing his figure with his eyes….ive got ammunition for you all now.

Atsushi would be the best bet too tbh. Dazai would look at him like he’s this strange kid at first because he’s sorta fucking old and atsushi is a little clumsy and not sure of himself. He would also swear atsushi to secrecy over the entire ordeal too when he finds it out. Dazai’s like “no one knows” and atsushi keeps it quiet for like as little time as possible cause he can’t, but chuuya would take it as him trying to start shit probably and get really pissed. moonstone is so real though YOU ARE SO SMART. Ssk rivalry 🤓 beating each others heads in and getting in serious trouble

You'd thought you got rid of this, you couldn't imagine loki julian reaction if he found out. You had that urge to reach out for that shining bright blade, that would soon be stained a warm crimson liquid. One of your hand was gripping your hair so hard you'd thought it would rip. Knocks on the door brought you back to reality, a sudden panic took over you." Dove are you in there?" You somehow managed to give him a clear answer" yea!" " Are you alright? Your voice seem shaky" " i-im okay!" " Are you sure? Im here if you need help" " it's fine! D-don't worry" julian bit his lips, he knew something was wrong, he didn't want to do what he was going to do, but he somehow knew something was not okay. He took a deep breath....

On the other side....

The knife was resting in your palm, cutting side pointed towards your skin. That to create a new scar between tons of others, each breath you took seemed like a mountain to climb. Before the knife could hit something it was gently taken out of your grip...

He took a deep breath" then you wouldn't mind me coming in, right?" He didn't await your answer and entered, the view that welcomed him was terrifying. You about to cut your flesh, tons of scars overlapping eachothers and covering all your limbs. He quickly walked towards you, he grabbed the blade gently, his gentle eyes sinking in your terrified and anxious ones. He distracted you, resting his palm on your face, he hid the knife in his pocket.

Before the knife could cut any skin, it was gently taken away from your grip. Your iris met gentle ones, one as gentle as a sunset, ones that contained an unending love for you. The male's palm came to rest on your cheek, you were too distracted by his gentle and captivating eyes that you didn't notice the knife being hidden away. He went from his squatting position to sitting down, pulling you closer to him, hugging you against his chest. Hoping to give you some sort of comfort, his hopes were fulfilled. Tears started trimming down your face, you hit his chest eith awfully weak punch. He felt your hit weakens more and more until it was just a contact, he felt his shirt being soaked in tears but that was not his concern. He cupped your cheeks making you look at him in the eyes, you had tears fighting for balance at the corners of your eyes. You sniffed a bit, waiting for what's coming next, like a slap or scolding but that never came, instead:

" Dove, whatever you're reason was, that it's the envy of blood, self dislike, negative thought in general. Whatever it is, don't do it again. I don't like seeing you hurt yourself, it shatters my heart seeing hate the one i cherish and admires the most. I don't want that someone to disappear, because that someone is you, Dove"

Your eyes widened at his word, tears trimming down again, you closed the distance between yours and his lips, searching for that comforting warmth that took all your issues away. When you parted, a tired sigh escaped your lips, you searched for that warmth over and over until you feel into a repairing slumber.

A smile tugged on julian lips, he got up eith a slight grunt, your passed out self resting in his arms. He carried you to your shared room, gently putting you down on the mattress that sank under your weight. He sat in the edge glad this was all over for now, it would take a ton of times for you to heal completely but he was willing to walk eith you along the way. He laid down next to you, wrapping his arms around your sleeping figure and held you tight against himself, you snuggled against him in your sleep.

He really was too kind for his own good...
