She was my fav to design!! I gave her gloves and boots as well as pants under her dress so she's more comfortable doing archeology. Goggles n bandana were for fun, and she has her trinket!! Shelly is a sweet and caring toon who loves to talk about dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures/plants. She has a fear of being forgotten though, and being ignored doesn't help...

Maybe all she needs is some love and recognition...?

Sprout is an overprotective toon (especially to Cosmo) ever since the ichor incident, he's been a bit more closed off and bold, seeming less kind. Deep down, however, he's still the same cheerful sweet toon, he's just more focused on survival now. He often brushes off other's worries due to circumstances. He still loves baking with Cosmo when he can.

well Id say it's overall about dynamic and journey for me, and before you'll read the rest keep in mind theres alot of my personal writing going out here and LOTS of over looking into the old shorts

like honestly one of the reasons why I prefer fanny to ortensia is because shes just much worse in universe TOT

and let me explain that, fanny is a character who last time we properly saw got herself into real danger bc instead of openly showing oswald affection after he pretended to be a life guard she made up a whole plan of pretending to be in danger so he can save her and thefore she has "a proper reason" to show him affection and that got her in trouble on her own account, that tells us some fun things about her and already makes her have some similarities to oswald

i imagine fanny to be a character thats honestly as if not a bit more flawed than oswald and thefore is more on the same ground as him, also there more symiliar in many ways that arent just them both being rabbits like I said both pretty emotional, they make up plans they really coud avoid if they would just put their pride aside and id imagine them both being quite mean lol

I feel like theres more to explore with 2 characters that are matching with their bad attitutes, short tempers and pretty high pride than with one character like that and other being just a good influence on him

so while id imagine their relationship to be more of a slowburn and to not start out good and be not as fluffy and loveish and I full on imagine it to not be completly perfect i just see it as more intresting ya know, I think giving them similiar flaws could lead to fun exploration of their own flaws as they see them in eachother and as they get better overtime slowly rather than have one be just straight good influence on other

but in my overall writing there really isnt some in universe important reason as to why oswalds with fanny rather than ortensia Per se like, he just got with one and not the other, id say In TCC he has meet her very briefly and thats the main reason, and in my overall writing if he knows her but just isnt intrested

id just imagine her living with JP whiskers and homer sometimes helping them around and such, id say she's still single and childless maybe does some suff with that one guy she ended up in rival romeos

wellll for this one guy, he started off pretty well, took care what needed to b taken cared of, payed bills, seemed to care about curly, didnt hit his mom, bare minimum things. he even got along w angela (BARELY, but honestly plus everything else it was a milestone no other older guy has done so hey big bonus points for this guy). the one main problem??? he did notttt get along w tim at ALL, they r always at odds w each other, sizing each other up, talking badly about each other behind their backs (sometimes not, just acting like they werent there) things of that nature. the guy lets call him, idk john (no normal guy is named john, NOT johnny) is hostile towards tim cause HE wants to b seen as “the man of the house” like how tim is, but tim just wonttt give it up!!! tim is just tim, hes not doing anything wrong in this instance, he is genuinely just defending himself which john dont like at all. THATTTT is what makes curly hesitant to fully accept him, curly wants a happy family but he still puts angela and tim over that want at the end of the day, theyre the only thing curly has ALL guaranteed for himself.

everytime john tries to get curly to go against tim it leaves a bad taste in curlys mouth, so he “disobeys” him. tim appreciates it but i dont think he would put it against curly to go w john, he doesnt like it and doesnt agree, he would prefer if curly kept listening to him instead, but he gets curlys just a desperate kid looking to belong, as stupid as he thinks he can b. curlys gonna come back running to him in the end no matter what, thats what hes always done. ANYWAYS it would all boil over at some point when he tries to kick out tim out and it gets a lilllll physical, dishes r thrown, someones thrown outside, and then jacob threatens to kick tim out (like its HIS house mannn😭😭), which sets curly AWF. curlys like a lil guard dog for tim, so as soon as jacob lost all his “control” amongst those kids, he just dipped.

and their mom was sooooo pissed and NOOOBBOODDYYYY took it harder than curly, his mom was going off on him especially bc he was the easiest target to hurt. curly spent weeks looking down on himself for it, for destroying “what couldve been” even though he knew its what he felt like was right!! hes not gonna go on a full blown depressive episode, but he cant look his mom in the eyes and doesnt even come home half the time, at LEAST to sleep. tim and angela have stood uo to their moms shitty bfs numerous times before but this is the first time HES specifically done it, so dare i say, i dont think tim and angela help curly much days after the fight!!! when they do it they move on quickly, but curlys not like them and they dont know what to do, they think hes overreacting and tell him to just move on from it already, whats done is done and hes gone, wallowing wont get him anywhere. they dont mostly feel bad for what curly feels, they feel bad that he feels bad for THIS long

i am unfortunately boring in the way that i’ll ultimately always wanna write Seto as the dominant one just bc of my own personal preferences. BUT that obv doesn’t mean Kisa wouldn’t have a fair amount of control over the situation, both bc a healthy dom/sub dynamic requires it in terms of consent and boundaries ofc, but also bc a) Seto is so extreme in his need for Kisara’s explicit permission to do basically anything to her (even the vanilla stuff) because he’s so painfully precious about her well-being and also constantly plagued by not feeling worthy of her and b) while i think Kisa wants to be dominated i think she also realllly enjoys the control of knowing she’s got Seto wrapped around her little finger and could make him do any depraved thing she wants to her just by looking at him in the right way. so yeah i think they both know who’s really in control behind the scenes lol

i’m also DYING to get into Seto’s inevitable mental struggle to reconcile his thoughts and feelings of “she is a perfect goddess and i’m a mere mortal unworthy of even looking at her let alone touch her” and “i’d die to protect her and if anyone hurts her i’ll fucking kill them” vs his desire to be the one who gets to take this perfect goddess and make her submit to him, kneel before him, own and control and ruin her perfectly (because if there’s one thing we all know about Seto Kaiba is that he’ll make sure the divine yields to him, and not the other way around). I guess the key things there is that he alone is allowed to hurt her and no one else.

On this note i do however think Seto would be so conflicted about physically hurting Kisa, even if she very clearly and explicitly wants him to, because he just struggles with being so overprotective of her and not wanting to see her injured or in pain. but this would also be delicious to write him being all conflicted due to the guilt of causing her pain vs the fact that doing so is super fucking hot and he can’t resist doing it, esp not when she’s literally begging him to. Taking all of his frustrations after a long day out on her more than willing body would be so cathartic and tempting but also associated with so much guilt and worry about getting too into it and going too far.

I also definitely see Kisa as being the more extreme of them, to the point where i can actually see her be just a little bit unhealthily masochistic because she doesn’t really value herself due to past trauma, giving her a self-destructive streak and kinda fucked-up notions along the lines of ultimately being deserving of pain and suffering, that someone hurting her equals caring about her and wanting her, and that the ultimate thing she can do to show someone that she really loves and trusts them is to just offer herself up completely to use and do whatever they want to, which Seto would have to try to handle and mitigate because he’s ultimately not gonna let her use him to actually really hurt herself (and you know it would also break his heart a thousand times over to realise just how little she values and cares about herself due to her fucked up past). But I could also write it kinda funny in that whole “sub suggesting increasingly violent/fucked up things while the dom goes ‘idk that’s scary’” lmao. I think Kisa is a bit annoyed that people (especially Seto) tend to see her as this fragile, porcelain flower and wants to prove that she is perfectly capable of taking a (consensual) beating.

Outside of strictly sexual stuff i can also see Kisa as very much an ‘everyday/domestic acts of service’ kinda sub who just wants to bring Seto his coffee when he’s working and a drink when he comes home from work and make sure to always wash and iron his clothes and put them out before he leaves in the morning, tying his tie before he leaves and untying it when he gets home and cooking and serving his meals for him (which tbh wouldn’t just be about her being submissive but also bc she just wants to make sure he actually takes care of himself with like, eating and taking coffee breaks bc you know that man doesn’t take care of himself if left unchecked). And I think this also ties in with her sense of self-worth being tied to being useful and helping others because she doesn’t really see herself as valuable unto herself, but also maybe acts of service is just kinda her “love language” too. i feel like this is the sort of thing i could maybe include in Temptation bc she’s already pretty much like this there, with to me pretty obvious undertones that her working as Seto’s assistant is definitely triggering a submissive side in her.

Temptation also has the whole thing with Seto secretly enjoying Kisa wearing her KaibaCorp pin while working because it marks her as his for the world to see, and I definitely feel like that’d be a thing for him too. Branding her, either by things like visible bite marks/hickeys that she’s not allowed to cover up or something like a discreet necklace that is actually a collar (although tbf, with the fashion we see in the Yugioh universe, would anyone even blink at a BDSM-style collar? Like Yugi’s already wearing fetish gear as his everyday clothes lmao). I mean, Seto’s already pretty big on putting his branding on literally everything, so Kisa would be no exception (also imagine the ridiculous extravagance and amount of money and care Seto would put into a collar for Kisa).

While I’m not really into the idea of Seto being submissive per se, I do think both he and Kisa could easily have praise kinks because they both crave validation in their own ways and for someone to telling them that they’re doing/being good (Seto wouldn’t admit that though, but if I allow for some submissiveness on his part I think being called a good boy could fix him). But with him as the dom it also totally tracks for him to make Kisa worship him and stroke his ego in that way. On that theme, however, I could also imagine him making her allow him to worship her as a kind of ‘punishment’ bc he knows she has a hard time accepting that but that it’s also something that’s good for her to hear.

Also I can totally see Kisa being a little bratty as a sub sometimes because she likes to talk back to Seto and be deliberately cheeky, disrespectful and provocative (both because she enjoys the control of getting him riled up and because she knows that the more she gets him worked up the more forceful and intense he’ll be about putting her back into place afterwards).

I JUST SAW THIS but yes i loved aoki so much, i think he's definitely one of my favorite characters in the yakuza series. spoilers spoilers but i think the reason why i felt so connected to him is because even though he seems like some who has his life together and is someone who basically everyone loves, behind it all is just an insecure helpless kid who wants nothing more than to be seen. and it's really interesting to see how "fame" or more like, attention i guess? affects someone. the way he had people around him that cared for him and would support him but he threw it all way because he thought the only way to feel love is to be seen, to feel love is to be number one. i really do believe that the people who are the loudest and look down on others the most are some of the most scared people to exist. they're scared of someone seeing them that way so they do it first. and i think it scared aoki to see that ichiban TRULY cared for him. not his power not anything else, him. masato arakawa. the him from years ago that was still wheelchair bound, the "weaker" version of him. but in your last fight with him, when it's just ichiban and aoki fighting alone without all his bodyguards, you can see that he really hasn't changed. he thinks he's become so much stronger and developed this entirely new persona but in reality he's still the same aoki that ichiban had tended to. he hates being vulnerable and being seen in that light. that's also the reason why that particular fight is also one of my favorites in the entire franchise. just the entire contrast between ichiban and aoki, how much down to earth and sympathetic ichiban is and how much more trusting and loyal he is in comparison to aoki really sells it all. aoki really does just feel like a lost kid who lost his identity. doesn't know who he is doesnt have a grasp on himself.

and since i just finished kiwami, im gonna try to tie it in w nishiki, bc they are quite similar. to me the difference though would be that nishiki acted out of envy/jealousy of kiryu, meanwhile aoki just hated being disabled and "useless". which i personally prefer narratively bc it's a very internal fight aoki has with himself, not with anyone else. and THEN it can tie back to family, and how family will always see the real you and support the real you. no matter how weak. it's just too bad that aoki realized that a bit too late. but yes i really really love him

i think i prefer to write longer one shots? i looooove my multichapter fics like they’re my children but sometimes they can be tiring to write :/ (especially seeing red omg). actually i guess i dont mind writing shorter one shots either but at some point i accidentally convinced my self that longer = better which is so dumb bc a lot of my fave fics are 1-2k words so why am i forcing myself to write 6k+ for everything? idk im actively unlearning that one but yeah i prefer writing one shots

first of all anon i'm sorry you're having to deal with this, continually, it is legitimately a bleak situation, all around. i agree with you that those kids have their heart in the right place, to an extent, and raising the issue at all is far better than coping by claiming nonsense like "patrick probably doesn't know what gabe has been saying because he's not online" but it all reads as so incredibly self serving that it is difficult for me not to feel disdain for most of the individuals (those who reside in the west with no tangible connection to the region, to be clear) involved in this conversation right now. this is also, partly, because all i've seen is people fighting with each other over patrick/fob's culpability in their public support of gabe/cobra rather than proposed solutions (attempting to get the attention of their PR team, etc) or support of anything that would be materially beneficial to people in palestine and lebanon right now

i will go ahead and say that i think the only real way to let them know that their silence specifically is unacceptable (i don't think they will ever drop gabe but i do think it's realistic for them to make a statement of some kind) is to comment on fob's official insta/twitter/tiktok and to not support them monetarily; not going to shows, not buying merch, etc. i've made posts about this in the past but didn't reiterate it because it doesn't seem like anyone wants to do this and unless it's executed on a fandom wide level (at least among the twt/tumblr fandoms) i don't think it's going to make much of a difference. my posting has turned more mocking this time around because, and i'll be honest, i am increasingly growing deeply disillusioned (as i'm sure you might be as well, to an extent i could not even begin to fathom) with the way the modern left, at least in the west, is filled with grifters and conmen. of course this has always been a problem but it is quickly becoming more of one on a mass scale and imo the way fandoms, all fandoms, not just fob, react to the moral failings of celebrities they idolize has seemed to me to reflect this problem in miniature

Trigger Warning: Religious stuff obviously, other than that just Fluff!

Alfred supports and loves you completely! His country was supposed to be a land of religious freedom, and he will defend that right to his death, goddamnit!

He has some basic knowledge of the Jewish faith, but most of the information he’s been told is horribly Christianized. A lot of is inaccurate, but rarely downright offensive. So when you correct him, he’ll end up asking a million follow-up questions. Maybe just bring him next time along you go to synagogue…

Now, anyone whose friends with him, is gonna know just as much as he does. If any religious thing gets brought up, he’s immediately trying to educate the rest of them on Judaism. It’s cute but… he’s also maybe a bit too enthusiastic. It’s like trivia night but the trivia is just things you’ve told him about your faith.

As happy as he is to spend time relaxing during Shabbat, he may get a little antsy… and a little annoying. It’s probably all that capitalist wiring messing up his brain, he’ll get used to it eventually.

Arthur has never delved deep into any religion since… well… not since the BCs. So your religion plays no part in his feelings towards you, he’d love you the same no matter what.

Even if he develops some affection for your faith, it’s unlikely he’ll be open to converting. Nothing personal, he supports you completely, it’s just… he’s just found that being religious leads to much more conflict than he prefers. 

But… if you want a wedding soon, he’s all in from the start. His country is known for their weddings, remember? And now the two of you will have to somehow throw the biggest Jewish wedding in the whole of Europe. Under your guidance, of course. Really, it’s just that Arthur wants to prove something about the two of you. But at least your family will have fun. Maybe.

Most of the holidays you celebrate, he won’t join in on unless you beg. He tells you it’s because he’s a protestant (he’s not,) but really he just feels like he’s intruding on your culture. But the days spent deliberately relaxing, doing nothing but eating traditional food? He can get behind those pretty easily.

Francis sees your Jewishness as nothing more than another fascinating piece in the painting that you are. If something is important to you, it’ll become important to him too!

Depending on your devotion level, he’ll try to support you as much as possible. But if your life revolves around your faith, he may get a little concerned. I mean,  being devoted is great! But your health and safety should come first as well. At least, that’s what he believes.

He himself, subscribes to no religion. Throughout the centuries, he’s passed from one to another, even being Jewish for a decade or two! But… that was also in the 200s… and he didn’t really commit. But if you want him to commit this time, he is absolutely ready to.

Oh, and the holidays? He would love to join you in observing them. Even the one which involve worship, he’ll happily do it as well, if you would want him to. He’ll even make a bunch of food to bring! Having such a strong community is something that’s really important to him, so he’d love to share that with you.

Whatever you believe in, it makes no difference to Yao. As long as you don’t think he’s going to hell, he’s cool with it… oh, you don’t believe there is a hell? Even better then!

He has seen many different belief systems rise and fall, so he’s never been that religious himself. The only thing he’s ever truly believed in were the things taught to him at birth, and even then he questions. But whatever makes sense to you, he’ll go along with it as well.

If you’re uber-devoted, it’s one of the main things he admires about you. It shows your courage and the strength of your ethics. Both traits he shares with you! Just… about different things. But if you’re not super into your faith, that’s totally fine too. That just means he doesn’t have to do as much.

As much as he loves taking things slow and enjoying the little things in life, he’s  quite the workaholic at heart. After a few Shabbat weekends, he’s itching to just spend time working on his home projects. All of which are…  pretty intense.

This is absolutely wonderful! Ivan would love a Jewish S/O, as he really respects the religion and culture surrounding it. 

Surprisingly, for an Orthodox Christian, he’s very familiar with the faith. Especially its history with his own religion. He rationalizes the differences between you as simply different ways to worship the same thing. Whether or not that’s accurate is up for debate, but either way, he supports you fully.

He’d love to observe Shabbat with you! Setting aside time, specifically just to enjoy the peaceful, domestic beauties of life… he completely understands why this would be a holy practice. He’s a little upset his own people haven’t caught onto that yet… why doesn’t everyone do that?

He’s… very enthusiastic about the concept of marrying you. Regardless of whether his church approves or your synagogue, he believes you two can mix traditions and have the most wonderful wedding. After all, nothing about the two of you is conventional in the first place!

While Feliciano may be devout himself to another religion, he has nothing but love in his heart for yours. Your differences only bring you two closer!

Always the romantic, he’s already planning your wedding in his head. And he wants it to completely align with your faith’s traditions! He’s had plenty of his own weddings before now, so he’d love to make it special for you and your family. He’s been saving just for a grand wedding like that!

Considering how strongly Catholic he is, he knows quite a lot about Jewish history. Religion has always been one of his little fascinations… so he’s very enthusiastic about learning about your faith. He’ll be a little awkward at first, not knowing which questions are ok to ask, but eventually, he’ll figure it out.

If you ask him to, he’ll observe some holidays with you, but most of the time he goes out of his way not to. Just in the same way that he tries not to involve you in his own practices. He doesn’t want you to feel like he’s overwriting your faith, and he’s careful not to intrude. He’s a bit overly sensitive in that way, but it means well.

While Ludwig himself does not care for religion, he respects your devotion greatly! Your beliefs harm no one, so he’ll happily support you in any way you ask of him.

Frankly, he’d probably be the most likely person on this list to convert. It reminds him of the faith his rulers have tried to instil in him, but in a more peaceful and traditional way that appeals to him. It wouldn’t take much of a push to get him all in-

Even if he doesn’t convert, he’s still nothing but happy to come along with anything you bring him to. He’ll be a little awkward, feeling out of place, at the start. But as long as you’re inviting him, he might as well get as much experience as he can!

Regardless of his current convictions, he’s unlikely to join you in observing any of the less vital holidays and practices. He’s still young for a nation and he’s quite the workaholic, so he’s always running from one place to the next. But if you get him to settle down and connect with himself more spiritually, it’d probably do him some good.

Kiku trusts you completely, so whatever religion you believe in, he’ll be right there beside you. Not in converting, per se, but he’ll gladly join you in any open celebrations or gatherings!

He shows his support for your beliefs in a… very Kiku way. He won’t bring it up often, but he’ll do a ton of research on his own time. You never have to remind him when an important holiday is coming up! He knows. And don’t worry, he’s got everything you need already. But will he come to synagogue with you? Well… maybe.

Frankly, I can’t imagine him being a marriage person. If that’s what you want, he’s totally up for it, but don’t expect him to do much planning himself. The one gripe he might have is just that he wants a small wedding… so hopefully, you do too.

Do they have any motifs?

Luther has 2 kinda. One was a little intentional the other just kinda came as a bonus. His main one is like, angelic imagery. That’s mostly from one of the first scenes of the story I came up with, where Ezekial is first brought to see Luther, who’s standing above him with light shining from behind him, and that with his hair kind of creates a halo kind of look and Ezekial remarks to himself that he looks like an angel. And yk, that whole like, white/light blue being angelic/pure idea with his color palette also kinda reflects that, which is both reflective and subversive to his character. Reflective in that it shows how he likes to be extremely clean and put together, but subverts how he’s involved with very dark things. His other motif only just occurred to me, that being space/moons. His planet and moon earrings weren’t really meant to be anything more than a cool design choice, but I realized that a lot of scenes I’ve pictured where he’s more vulnerable and open are at night and/or under the moonlight, so that motif has become a bit important to his character. You could also definitely draw some sun and moon imagery with him and Ezekial from that.

Ezekial doesn’t really have concrete motifs in the same way Luther does. There’s a couple reoccurring ideas that surround him, like scarring, loneliness, and loyalty, but I haven’t really given him strong specific motifs. I guess the main one that you could argue for that I’ve been thinking about lately is kind of like, wearing over time. That applies to the story and their dynamic at large, but specifically with Ezekial, there’s a lot of focus with him having to accept that things are not the same as they once were, as well as visually, his design changes and wears with time, both with him getting more and more scars and with his clothes gradually becoming more scuffed and dirty with the more experience he has. This also juxtaposes Luther, whose design is very clean and sharp and put together.

Describe their voice. Do they have a voice claim?

I always struggle finding voice claims for my characters bc I have such a specific vision in my head that nothing feels completely right for them, but I’ll try to get as close as I can.

For Ezekial, my first thought was Aoba from the beastars dub (I think. I was specifically thinking of the “hey, legoshi already knows her name!” line and I’m pretty sure that’s aoba but idk). Looking up a couple voices, I think also a bit of Ash from fantastic mr fox, though very slightly lower for both of those. Also also a smiiiidge of mk from lmk. Just a bit. The idea for him is to have a voice that’s very smooth and nice, pretty average tbh, and usually very bright but occasionally able to slip into a darker tone. Idk though, I feel like he’s really hard to place and I don’t even know if I really like any of these all that much for him, but it’s the best I got 😭

Luther’s voice I imagine closer to the lower end but also not particularly deep, very soft and level, kind of that back of the throat kind of sound. It’s really dumb but specifically I thought of that one clip that’s like “SHUT UP. SHUT UP. IM GONNA KILL THE NEXT PERSON I SEE I SWEAR TO GOD” but JUST for him yelling. The line I was imagining him saying in that tone was “Don’t you get it!?” and it works oddly well. Otherwise, it’s kinda like a mix between lilac cookie’s eng voice and sal fisher. Another one I found specifically looking at voice claim compilations that’s random as fuck is Wesley Gibson from wanted??? no idea who that is or what that’s about but I think his voice fits really really well for Luther.

Are they a dog or a cat person?

Ezekial likes both and he wouldn’t be able to choose, though probably leans a little more to dogs.

Luther you’d think would be more of a cat person, given his everything, but he actually prefers dogs because they’re easier to train and more obedient. He doesn’t dislike cats though.

Have they ever fallen in love and with whom?

I mean, there is a LOT of longing between these two, especially on Ezekial’s end. He’s been in love Luther since they were really young but I think he didn’t really realize that for a long time. At some point it kinda registered for him but even then I don’t think he ever really said it out loud to himself. It was never really some big revelation or anything, just kind of putting a word to a feeling that’s always been there.

And I’m not gonna lie and say the feeling isn’t reciprocated, but that’s something Luther hasn’t thought about in years and still hasn’t yet to really understand himself. The mix of emotional suppression and catholic guilt made a cocktail of self denial and inability to really accept that thought when he was younger, and in the present it’s far worse and far more repressed, and he has a long way to go before anything begins to change with that.

It’s actually interesting because this is also a scene I thought of pretty recently. After their reunion, once the tension has settled past the initial Luther-being-willing-to-kick-Ezekial-across-the-floor-without-a-second-glance phase, one of the conversations they end up having is Ezekial asking Luther if he’s dated anyone since he last saw him, to which Luther respond “I don’t think you could really call it that.” He asks the same question back at Ezekial and Ezekial responds “Yeah, I don’t think those really count either.” And that surprises Luther and he give a little “Huh.” And Ezekial asks what that’s about but Luther just says it’s none of his concern (really he’s surprised because Ezekial’s always kinda been a romantic, and he’s dated a couple people before when they were younger. “And I mean, Ezekial’s an attractive guy, and he would probably be a good partner, how has he not had any good relationships since high school?” (<- clueless))

Yeah the "vampire bites you and suddenly you're a vampire" didn't really make sense to me either (especially in this story, bc some members of the Council, especially the older ones, still feed on humans sometimes- it's treated as a matter of preference/convenience, rather than ethics. Basically, as long as you don't accidentally reveal the existence of vampires, it's fine.) The venom definitely isn't an effective self-defense method haha, I'm just gonna say they evolved it in case the population drops and they need to make more vampires? Idk I'm not a scientist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly I don't have that much to say about the ghost? It's just something I made up impulsively one day, when I was working on backstories. Mia wasn't super experienced in all that witchy stuff yet, so it took her a couple weeks to figure out how to un-summon the ghost. She and Bailey were roommates at the time (this was before Mia moved in with Erin) and they kept finding flowers in weird places around the apartment, usually right after a weird noise or an object moving on its own, typical ghost stuff. One time they found a bunch of daisies arranged in a smiley face on the kitchen counter :)

I went to a.. light show/light garden thingy? (idrk how to explain it lol) and decided that Felix and Bailey need to go to a light show/light garden thingy. First of all, it's cute, and second, Felix is pretty far behind on modern tech- he's normally the serious/calm one but he would absolutely lose his mind over this haha

I added Devil Doesn't Bargain to my daydreaming playlist for some of the backstory scenes. Alan was pretty manipulative and made Bailey feel guilty for leaving him, and this song makes me think of Mia supporting Bailey after the breakup and reassuring him that it was the right choice

as for your relationship thingy going on: cards say that it’s really on you to choose, bc regardless you’re going to feel down or face a heartbreak. you’re not going to be in a good emotional state as it goes on, and all three might even end up hurting your heart. you’re being called to find balance in yourself first, practicing patience with yourself, and self-control. doing things in moderation. but if i were to choose, even knowing that i’d get hurt in the end, i would choose the most balanced person of the three. but still, i think the focus is more on you balancing out yourself and your life. it might be too early to be with any of them.

(i don't even listen to that much solo morrissey - or solo johnny for that matter - bc i have this silly thing where i get upset that morrissey's lyrics aren't being set to johnny's music and vice versa) I sort of see Speedway as a Boy With Thorn 2.0 if that makes sense? like you said, the "behind the hatred..." line really shows you some aspect that is quite personal to morrissey. in the same way, Speedway is so revealing about how he perceives himself - and whilst i don't think he's a reliable narrator or that it's even an accurate perception (which is lampshaded by the song!), it sure is fascinating. And the last verse is such a powerful declaration of unwavering loyalty (whether you think it's about johnny or not, they're still some very powerful lines). Nowhere Fast is such a good pick!!! It's a very very good demonstration of "fun but still depressing" smiths music lol, and I 100% get what you mean by it giving you energy!! Also I think "I think about life & I think about death and neither one particularly appeals to me" is the superior version of "I'm not happy & I'm not sad" lolll.

Last Night I Dreamt... makes my top 5 on most days, I've said this before but it's so so so so unfair that some twenty-year-old just went "oh im sad" when he was sitting on a bus and wrote like the most fucking beautiful hauntingly sad chord progression to ever exist in the history of music? and yeah i've heard a lot of people complain about the lack of a radio edit to cut the beginning and i disagree so much with them - this song is an EXPERIENCE and that includes the heavy opener, without it the rest would not hit as hard for sure

I'm...not actually a huge fan of London sorry! (lol watch me get obsessed with it a week later) Wonderful Woman is lovely though, but I do think it's instrumentally stronger than it is melodically (sometimes i wish morrissey would have left this one alone and written lyrics to oscillate wildly) In terms of tracks i'm crazy about that I think are under-appreciated, I'd say probably stretch out and wait (it makes me so relaxed and hopeful), paint a vulgar picture (this one is absolutely devastating to me, probs could write a whole other paragraph about it lol), maybe unhappy birthday to an extent too (the voice crack at "from the one you left behind" makes me fucking cry)

and How Soon is Now!! not basic at all, classics are popular bc they're GOOD, and this one is LEGENDARY. it definitely captures the youthful anger and bitterness so well, and sonically achieved something really unique!!
