i haven’t seen this a lot but like i’m rereading aftg bc im about to read the sunshine court for the first time and it shocks me so much how much andrew changes in his relationship with kevin. like at some point they were each others shadows and then in book three andrew chokes him out for keeping secrets about neil… like i get it andrew had a deal with neil and another deal with kevin and they both are about andrew keeping them safe and like something was bound to happen in that relationship considering what it was built on but like. they were something to one another and andrew promised him to keep him safe. and andrew didn’t. andrew put him in danger for the sake of neil. do yall ever think that kevin for a split second saw riko in the place of andrew? that he saw another brother hurting him bc of something out of his control? something he Told neil to run away for? he knew it was gonna end badly and yet for the sake of neil, he still taught him. ugh and like it’s not on neil that andrew chose to respond with violence but it must make kevin feel some type of way
