I hope this isnt rude to ask but I see you talk about ocs but do you ever write about them?
it’s not rude to ask. i do write about them only i don’t post it anywhere. from what i’ve seen people are kind of weird about non tarnished ocs and to be honest it makes me a little anxious lmao
#every fan base has shitty people but for some reason this one is just annoying as fuck#the fanfic side of this fandom is small and yet can be so very judgmental and mean#like literally for no reason#so i keep shit to myself and one of my friends who knows fuck all about elden ring and therefore won’t judge me harshly#she just nit picks my actual writing and not necessarily what i’m writing about#i feel like everyone writes a similar storyline with a few differences#and if you dare deviate from that they’ll be in you inbox telling you to kys#maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to post it#perhaps once the dlc comes out and things die down again#anon#asks

[ - ] LORD OF HEART [ - ]
A Lord of Heart is a terrifying thing. Both to be and to face, though the latter is more likely to have an impact overall. They’re defined by their commanding nature, becoming irate when things don’t go their way - not that anyone would have any cause to deviate, given the Hero’s overwhelming influence. They can twist and shape the world around them in their image, striking fear into the hearts of those who dare oppose their views as they see fit. They’re natural-born rulers, and even though they’re less formal in their ways it means little. Look into their eyes and you’ll know, within seconds, just how driven they’ll be to crush you if you do wrong by them.
Placed outside the game, the Lord of Heart is uncompromising and harsh to be around. They understand the suffering of others, but only see it as an annoyance, or a tool to be used to further their own goals. They’re influential whether or not they come off as someone to *want* to be associated with, and it’s all because of their own will. They respond well to those who give them power, and find glee in taking it from others or having it be surrendered because of their connection to Heart. The aspect allows them to hold near-total command over others, whether or not they can fully understand their capabilities.
When inside a session, however, they are merciless. They’ll team up only to tear those around them down, often taking on a previously hidden penchant for trickery and displaying themself as trustworthy, if only to make connections. But the only thing they’re focused on is themself, and the Lord will command whoever and whatever they must in order to reach the end that most satisfies them. They have literal command over emotions to some extent as well, that which strengthens with exposure, so the longer they can be around an ‘ally’ that they’re draining of emotion (or changing the perspective of) the better. They’ll discard whoever doesn’t fit, because the world has taught them they can always get their way.
The Lord of Heart is a true ally to no one. They may hold a grudge against Space and Light for their knowledge, but do not fear them, for their mind can tell them nothing will go wrong. They clash most with Life and Mind players, given their stubbornness and unwillingness to fold. If they ever encountered their Muse, the Lord would clash with them heavily, but their self-assured nature wouldn’t let them step back and they may end up working themselves to the bitter end.
