i know ive said before in the past that i don’t particularly want jondami/damijon to become canon because i feel like the writers would ruin it but how would YOU guys want jondami to be handled if it were up to you how they become canon?

ill go first.

on damians side thats where itd be a little harder because i feel like damian would have to go through some stories and be in a place where hes fleshed out enough to start feeling normal human emotions, yknow? since he was raised as a weapon. he could just see jon as one of the few genuine friends that hes had and thats stuck with him. damian could also have a nice moment where he starts feeling simple emotions for jon like, comfort, adoration, missing him or jealousy but he doesn’t understand them so he acts out in a way that makes more sense to him, like the violence and rebellion pent up inside him. in my confession - if there would be a confession though, itd have to be in a safe setting for the both of then where they are just talking like i said. i feel like itd make sense for damian to even reject him at first, thinking his responsibility to the mantle is more important/ he doesnt have time for something like that. and he feels like he couldnt give jon emotionally what he deserves. then they could grow up (and in most people’s opinions i actually dont want jon or damian to become superman or batman, i want them to be their own thing. its the most boring part of their character and would be the biggest reason for the writers to not allow them to be in a relationship because that would mean superman and batman dated at one point or somethting) then after they grow up (it doesnt even need to be a long time after the confession, can be like months or so) and damian confronts himself he can go back and damian could be like “im not good at this type of thing, but i want to try” and then they could be together happily. because out of everything their mantles is the thing that pults them together but at the same time rips them apart. i ship them because they are polar opposites that have the same destiny but their paths are what damages the both of them the most and what holds together their relationship. theyd have to be friends or lovers more on normal terms, hang out outside of robin and superboy which we havent seen yet… at least not in comics where theyre hanging out JUST to hang out. then after they get together they can just be jon and damian, doing normal civilian things, perhaps they could also find different titles to bear as heroes like how dick became nightwing or something.

i also don’t want damian to lose his general, teasing and snide remarks to jon or anyone, keeping their dynamic the way it was as they were friends would be more fun but yeah thats me.

stepping on it, soonyoung drove as fast as he could to the place jeonghan needed to go to asap jeonghan didnt expect for soonyoung to give him whiplash

and when soonyoung realised he was stepping foot in a dark, eerie building, he figured that it was too late to call quits

his active mind thought jeonghan was an undercover murderer, ready to cut soonyoung’s limbs to sell them to the black market and ship them to germany, he wasn’t ready for his arms to be shipped to germany-

but he’ll never raise his children and grandkids to be like him, or live in his lifestyle because even though it’s fun, it’s dangerous, so he gets overprotective with his little stars and scolds his children when they arent doing something right, even if it’s minor

My top 5 favourite things about Voltron Legendary Defender so far.

Morning folks I thought I’d take the time to list some of my favourite elements of Voltron Legendary Defender so far from seasons 1-4.

1. Voltron’s Origin: 

As we know from season 3 we saw the very origin of Voltron itself in this incarnation which I think is a very good element to use. Whilst Voltron Force gave some elements of Voltron’s origin as a culmination of 5 planets it didn’t really depict the story of the original Voltron Force before Kieth and his team. In this version of Voltron it gives a more in depth origin story to the mighty Defender or the Universe, and its original Paladins. We even see how the 10′000 year long war and search for Voltron had begun and how the planets in the Altean system were once a coalition of planets working side by side.

2. Mystical Bond Between a Lion and its Paladin: 

One other element that I like was the spiritual element of Voltron and how the lions are essentially living beings in this incarnation guiding their Paladins and helping them when the time arises be it unlocking new powers or strengthening their bond. In elements like Voltron Force and Third Dimension they’ve tried to show the mystical element behind the lions and some are even referenced in this new incarnation such as the lions acting on their own without pilots or when testing them. Said bond actually helps to strengthen Voltron such as when Allura charged Voltron with quintessence on Nauxella or Kieth motivating the team to Form Voltron after falling into Lotors trap.

3.Characters and their developments:

What I liked more was how the characters develop within the seasons of Voltron such as Kieth beginning to develop as a leader or learning more about his origins, Lance being less of an arrogant lover boy and into Voltron's right hand man, Pidge becoming more determined and open minded be it finding her family or learning to work outside her tech junkie zone. In terms of Hunk he's becoming more smart and big hearted in the group and whilst yes theres still the vomiting issue (which I hope doesnt stop as its dead funny gross but funny) Allura is learning to be a better leader and diplomat just like her father and progressing as a strong Paladin of the Blue Lion and being the overall heart of Voltron, Coran I’m not sure about but he knows when to give guidance and wisdom to Allura or even the Paladins in his own way of course, and when he's not being tricked by space pirates in a swap shop. One element thats been a very emotional is the bond of family that the Paladins share such as the brotherhood between Kieth and Shiro, and Lance’s rivalry with Kieth be it in the Garrison or on the team, and Allura shares a bond of family with the Paladins ever since the loss of her farther and civilisation even when knowing about Kieth’s Galra heritage she looks past her anger and who knows later in the series she may even care for him. 

4. Villains and their motives:

As we know in the past incarnations of Voltron the villains have motives such as galactic conquest or revenge on Voltron using a dark power that can defeat him. However in this version we see more darker motives in the villains intentions to capture Voltron and use it to travel to other realities and gain unlimited quintessence. What I like about Zarkon and Haggar is their origin of being a former Altean alchemist and the former Black Paladin of Voltron. What makes a good villain in my view is not how cruel they can be or what schemes they hatch its their origins and who they were before they were corrupted by evil which shows their intentions and how they took the wrong path just to achieve them. In terms of Lotor its still hard to understand his motives since as far as we know he’s trying to succeed where his mother and farther failed without the need to chase after Voltron and be blinded by an obsession.

5.Amazing storylines:

In terms of the series itself the storylines are very well wrote and give more story and origins to the characters such as Kieth’s Gara heritage or the hidden secrets of Voltron. One thing that was interesting is how the story’s impact the characters and our understanding of what may happen in the future such as Keith standing down as leader so that the Paladins would have strong leadership in Shiro but later he may realise he's made a mistake pushing his friends away and that its not his friends or his Galra side holding him back its himself. Also the cliffhangers that the producers have at the end of each season be it the Paladins being sent to different corners of the galaxy and not knowing if they survived, Shiro’s disappearance, Zarkon’s potential return or even Lotor declaring a truce with the Voltron Coalition. This for me gets the adrenaline pumping in my veins and everytime theres a cliff hanger I just yell “ YOU CAN’T STOP IT THERE!!!! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?”

Thats some of my favourite elements of Voltron so far and who knows come seasons 5 or 6 I may find even more elements that I like beyond what I know so far.

#i think sabos risk assessment is like#broken#hes probably very impulsive in the heat of the moment#problems with impulse and inhibition are known effects of traumatic brain injuries#and i think it would be cool to write him with other symptoms than just his amnesia#also once again my complaint of how everyone says sabo is insane and then never actually elaborates or specifies#i think koala should be MEAN#like shes an escaped child slave it had to have fucked her up she should get to be an asshole as a treat#also i do think sabo actually comes up with plans before hand and theyre good ass plans and does try to follow them#but if he sees an opportunity to do something ill advised but cool or funny during the mission#hell usually take it#and if the adrenaline is pumping he doesnt think he just acts#also he probably is a bit of a kleptomaniac#he sees something cool in a shop and it ends up in his pocket#whereas koala is naturally kind of paranoid and deeply aware of the consequences of being caught#meanwhile sabo has never gotten caught by anyone but garp#mine#koala one piece#sabo one piece

People like to make koala sabos keeper in fanon and while we haven't seen much of her in canon it's the same mom friend/pure lesbian bff thing fandom does to women close to their male blorbos and it's kinda misogynistic

I think as an escaped child slave koala should be even more vindictive and violent than sabo. She just yells at him because hes impulsive and going to GET THEM CAUGHT YOU ASSHOLE
