hermann gottlieb WOULD play magic the gathering
#theres so much fuckin math in mtg if you want to get into the math#i think mostly stats? in commander anyway#i feel like newt would be less into it generally but would get into it just to compete with hermann#hermann would either have a mono-blue deck or a blue-white deck#i dont know about newt. maybe red-blue?#ive only played like 3 times ever#once with someone else's deck that i think was maybe blue-white? and then twice with mine which is blue-green#a friend made it for me and it kicks ass#i need to fine tune it but it's like. slow build stuff and then big stupid wrecking ball cards#anyway i love blue im bad at deciding how to attack so it works best for me to have cards that are like#fuck you i have a clone army now. fuck you im stealing your creature. fuck you im going to win by accumulating +1/+1 tokens#thats what i mean by wrecking ball cards. get symic ascendancy'd idiot#long-ass games though!! thats the main downside#and if someone plays a really aggro deck im probably fucked#anyway anyway anyway. i think hermann would like it#he needs more Nerd Interests besides just math#unscientific aside
