so like. they're obviously very wrong about this having anything to do with accumulated sacrificial servants but i do agree that there's a reason this could only have happened during the family conference.

#umineko liveblog #next thing to ask is if this could only happen during *any* family conference #or if this could only have happened during the *1986* family conference #there are a couple of unique quirks to the 1986 conference that might be relevant #it's battler's first conference back after rejoining the family #it is a conference during which kinzo has likely been dead the whole time #1986 is most likely kanon's third and final year as a servant excluding any shannon-esque weirdness #and baby ange is not present on account of being sick #i feel like the ange/battler thing doesn't matter much #because on a normal year without battler ange would easily have been person 18 #so i think it's down to this being kanon's final year as a servant or kinzo's death #and i think the true answer depends on which culprit theory you subscribe to
