and I especially loved this part of Rolin's interview. that's a very solid advise imo.

Somebody sent me the link to the full interview on Wednesday, but I haven't had the chance to watch it yet (all of my jobs have been unexpectedly hectic this week!), so I really appreciate the little snippets, anon, thank you!

I love hearing Rolin talk about the show too - I actually really missed him on the little episode footnote videos with s2 - and you're right, that that is really good advice. As someone who semi-writes professionally, I lowkey think having a dumb, no stakes thing I can play around with creatively is why I write fanfic still, haha.

#although i can't lie the serotonin hit from comments is also nice hahah #i've had short stories and a novel published #and i sometimes get nice emails about the latter but short stories get rigorously edited and then just go out into the world and you #never hear about them again #and that's even if you're lucky enough to get them published #i always like that stephen king quote where you're not a writer until you can wallpaper your house in rejection letters #which i definitely feel like i could at this point haha #but that kind of goes back to what rolin's saying there in that resilience and not being precious about your writing is so important #rolin asks #iwtv s2 press
