he already feels the warmth radiating from you and his racing heart. he earns a breathy chuckle, catering his words—you grab the thick, fluffy blanket on the left edge of the bed with your feet, diagonally your leg up before grabbing it with your hands and drift it to cover the both of you “that better ‘samu?” humming, he snuggles impossibly closer to you.

your smile widens. your fingers wander his brown, messy hair in a waving motion, massaging his scalp in a snail pace. you can smell the fresh vanilla shampoo he uses, only faintly. a smell that feels so home to you.

dazai has a tight feeling in his chest, a delicate, gentle feeling he thought he could never experience truly; love. the saki feeling that he could just indulge in this, live like this, with you.
