Authors note: hopper is alive. Will and el are siblings. El and mike already know. Its a year later. If this gets attention I'll do more of these.

• It happened during a sleep over at Mike's

• It was the usual Friday night thing. Since it was summer they did it a lot more

• They decided to watch Jaws. Will was so excited. He had suggested it and mike said yes instantly

• The order of people getting there went like this:

1. Will was already at Mike's house. They had been hanging already bc will and el were up for a visit. El was with Max somewhere

2. Dustin arrived first, throwing his bike on the lawn. He brought ice cream in his bag. "Hurry put it in the God damn freezer before it melts. My mom spent good money on that thing."

3. Hopper drove max and el to Mike's. They got there looking tired but happy. El had a scratch on her knee from learning to skateboard and max had her nails painted green. They went inside and greeted everyone. Mike and El had decided to just be friends. They still loved each other but in a sibling way. "Wow, I'm always surprised by the new do Will." Max says ruffling his hair. It was cut much nicer now. he blushed a dark red.

4. Lucas showed up late carrying pizza boxes on his handle bars. He was sweaty and excited to watch Jaws.

• Now everyone was there they all got some pizza and settled down for the movie. Will and Mike sat together on the couch. Dustin to the other side. Lucas sat in a chair that he'd pulled away from the table.

• Max and el sat together on the ground.

• el jumped at all the scares and ended up in Max's lap. thank God it was dark or the whole party would notice the bright red tinted in her cheeks

• Dustin screamed and threw the popcorn everywhere

• will watched quietly. very intent. mike watched Will with the same intensity.

• Lucas had already seen Jaws but he enjoyed none the less.

• anyways, when the movie ended everyone laid down in their pajamas. they usually just talked until the early hours. playing truth or dare or would you rather

• they had talked for awhile and everyone was tired. Dustin had already fallen asleep but Lucas shook him up.

• mike returned to his sleeping bag beside Wills after flipping the lights off

• max and El came out of the bathroom trying to maneuver through the still forms. they hopped on the couch and snuggled up

• El didnt mention the fact that will and Mike had their hands interwoven. she could see the hands from the moon light that shone through the window.

• "um..." will cleared his throat "theres something I need to tell you guys." he said it quietly not looking at anyone.

• "okay. what is it willy?" max said. she had taken to using the nickname just to annoy him. she shifted so that she could see will in through the darkness. her arms were wrapped around els waist. both of them looking at will.

• I- um.. I'm- I... uh. I'mGayPleasedontHateme" it came out in a single breath. he tightened his hold on Mike's hand. mike gave a reassuring squeeze and he was pretty sure el was smiling.

• "oh. okay" Lucas said. he scooched over to pat will on the should. "we would never hate you"

• "yeah." max said she was beaming. "I'm really proud of you dude"

• a small short came from Dustin "that's it?"

• will let out a shaky breath nodding his head. he finally looked at all his friends smiling about how great they were. "good night you guys. I love you all" will said and their was a chorus of replies, such as "I know" "who wouldnt?" "we all love you too" "gosh this is so sweet"

• and that's how he came out to the rest of the party

i still cant get over the fact that this body count means junko bothered to put. mondo’s.... remains.... in one of these morgue freezers. one of these just has a tub of butter in it

also she puts on a phony Posh Accent for this persona and it was momentarily very alarming bc this is the first appearance of Real Junko and i was just like oh god please tell me thats not her voice 

this persona’s voice is my favorite and im very very gay 

i dont remember being nearly this completely in love with her before but here we are 

ok but if the entire world is in this level of chaos who’s even watching the hopes peak broadcast anyway???? are there people enslaved and being forced to watch it or something 

i COMPLETELY forgot this plot point, junko wasn’t the one who locked everything up, it was a defense strategy, this was supposed to be a shelter, she just commandeered it (and probably added all the cameras) 

which could explain why some people still have personal stuff in their rooms, it actually was their room before all this (hence how yamada got the camera, where their clothes are coming from, etc) but the fact that nobody brought this up before is still weird 

and why naegi’s room doesn’t have any personal items in it at all, but i guess maybe its supposed to be like ‘hes SO ordinary he doesnt even have any personal things here’ or something

also the fact that junko (herself, not mukuro in disguise) was their classmate and presumably was friends with them all before this and specifically chose to do this to her own class, figuring their despair would be that much worse if they realized their friend was the one who betrayed them, is. also fucked up lmao

and that also means she KNOWS them, she’s the only one who remembers the lost two years, she probably planned the motives knowing exactly who would be most likely to be affected by them 

its entirely possible she could have even picked up the “secrets” for the blackmail motive by like... getting close enough to them that they just told them to her in confidence. not realizing that she was keeping notes of it all to fuck with them later

its wild to me that they’re all talking like “well guess this is it, goodbye everyone” like if the world really is that big of a fucking mess outside they’re the people most equipped to handle it and take down the. despair club. whatever the terrorist group was called lmao. so like why WOULDNT they all stick together at least until they figure out what to do

i mean maybe they’re all just heading off to try to find their families and of course togami would go do his own thing immediately but
