At first Osomatsu won’t understand, and will fall into a wild stupor when you just hug him.  he'll make a joke like, "Ooohh shit, haha! you really like me, don't you?" but when you kiss him on the cheek, it won't be so easy for him. But when he learns about the traditions of your country, he will laugh awkwardly, scratching his nose with his index finger in a familiar gesture. but he will still be a little awkward to hug you and kiss you on the cheek, after all, he has never had such intimacy with beautiful girls like you.

Karamatsu will be taken by surprise, because he has never hugged strange girls! he will try to regain the look of a confident hot guy, but he will look like a red awkward virgin. Todomatsu immediately knew this fact, after all, from the very first meeting, he scrolled through all your social networks, looked through all your photos and extracted every information from you, as usual, using the cute face of an innocent little devil. He will make the most of this fact, never missing a chance to hug you with an innocent giggle and smell your hair while the rest of his brothers glare at him and want to kill him. It does get irrational sometimes but she just can't bring herself to see any sort of critters in pain 💔💔💔💔THIS LADY HAS A BIG HEART OKAY???) She tries her best to make Lord Victor bend to that and be kinder to animals, even if that asshat is a lost cause.

The videogame adaptation also mentions she is a vegan, so she def gets massive discomfort from eating anything animal related

Her kind and forgiving, sentimental nature sometimes makes her stress herself out and put her energy to people who don't deserve it. It's clear that she is not happy with Victor, but she stays and tries to make it all work with him, because she wants to believe she can change him and bring out a kind man in him. (Girl please, your "I can fix him" game is off the charts) And she only dumps him for good once he crosses a line and tries to kill Wallace. Heck, maybe she does not have many genuine friends, also due to her noblewoman status being intimidating to many :( And that's also why she stayed with Victor, and it wasn't until meeting Wallace and Gromit that she was able to get out of the toxic relationship.

Victor clearly sees her as naive and annoying for her autistic quirks and personality during the movie, and is only after her because of her status, money and looks. Reducing her to a trophy. If that ain't a relatable autistic experience I don't know what is

In my hc universe she does not get romantically involved with Wallace. I know Aardman likes to shiptease them as canon and I don't have a problem with it, it's cute! I just personally prefer them as platonic friends, especially since the Were-Rabbit movie subverted the "love triangle" and "nice guy gets the girl" tropes where the whole punchline was that Totty in fact did NOT marry Wallace after him pining for her the whole movie, and it was so refreshing to see. Especially since Wallace was not upset at all about being rejected!! We stan a king 🫶🫶🫶

The whole scene of Totty going "I have caught feelings for you" was, in my hcs, Totty being comphet :''') 💔💔💔She has grown fond of Wallace because he is the first man in a long time who does not treat her like a pretty prize like Victor. And poor Totty, being the affection starved girlie that she is, who also has grown in a heteronormative British noble society, thinks that it means automatically romantic feelings. PLUS she is very touchy and affectionate when it comes to interacting with people she likes, so it's easy for people to mistake it for romantic interest

The Matsu's preferred weapons (Medieval AU)

There's a Hesokuri Wars set about this exact topic. I wanted to share my thoughts on it!

Osomatsu

Osomatsu is the one you'd expect to have a normal sword by default. I mean, why wouldn't he? He doesn't come across as the kind of person who'd be too strategic or picky about his weapon of choice. As long as he gets to do stuff, he'll roll with whatever!

So... the staff gave him a lance. And, you know what? There's really nothing wrong with that. It's different from the usual "Osomatsu gets the basic option" trope that HW had going on. It looks cool and it makes sense that he would use a weapon like that, but... Come on.

Osomatsu is a simple man. I think a standard sword is perfect for him. He can even have a shield, too. As a treat.

Besides, I have my reasons (it's only one) to give the lance to someone else.

Karamatsu

As for Karamatsu… Yeah, the long sword is perfect for him. Completely agreed with the (kinda? Is HW canon?) canon choice. Of course he'd use something big and eye-catching. Maybe he'd even try to customize the damn thing. Make it sparkly or have his name inscribed into the sword's metal.

Alternatively, I think double swords would also be a great choice for him. He'd get to do some sick poses with his swords while he fights. Surely he'd use some convoluted fighting style that looks like a dance; exaggerated, but deadly... Or, at least, he thinks it looks like that.

Also: Two swords, he's the second son… Yeah. It checks out.

Choromatsu

Remember the lance? Yes, the one I mentioned like 10 seconds ago. I just happened to have the perfect excuse to hand the thing to Choromatsu.

You see, the name "Choromatsu" comes from the japanese onomatopoeia "choro-choro." It apparently means "the way children and small things move around quickly". Can you already see where I'm going with this?

I can just picture this 5'3 king, ramming into battle with a pointy, sharp lance. I'm pretty sure running away from his problems is Choromatsu's favorite thing to do, so he'll have no problem using this weapon since it involves a lot of running!

I can also see him using a bow, which is as much, if not more, of a classic weapon than the lance itself. But let's face it, Choromatsu with a lance is way cooler (and it's unique and meaningful, too).

Ichimatsu

A crossbow is an interesting choice for a person like Ichimatsu, who is often portrayed as someone of very low energy. I like it, yes… But consider, whatever the hell is this:

Ichimatsu can be lazy sometimes… But not when it comes to violence, I think. Is this anything? I'm pretty sure he'd enjoy the absolute carnage that comes with using a weapon like this.

Jyushimatsu (no way, there's no yellow?! I'm sorry, Jyushi!)

The HW staff gave this man an axe. A giant one at that. He is an absolute unit and I can totally respect that, I love me a good axe representation, but… It seems a bit out of character to me. Am I the only one?

Jyushi can be violent, yes… But an axe? That feels excessive. Also, I just don't understand how the staff missed the opportunity to give him something like this:

Look at it. Now, look me in the eyes and tell me it doesn't resemble a baseball bat even JUST a little bit.

This was the obvious choice for him, so why did they not give him a [whatever the hell this thing is called]?

Perhaps it was too gruesome? I mean, it can't possibly be more gruesome than an axe, right? Also, this would have made for a excellent visual gag. It would have been perfect! Oh, how it hurts to have such big brain that only has objectively correct ideas!

Todomatsu

Finally… Totty. Oh, Totty. What a sneaky little rat you are.

I'll admit that a shield with spikes is an amazing choice for him. The thing is heart-shaped! Very cute. Very cute, Totty… While the combo of a sword and a shield is an absolute classic and doesn't look bad on him at all, I must say…

Let's give this man a dagger and see what happens.

"Ah! Oh, no, I've fallen!" Todomatsu whines, curled up on the ground of the battlefield. With fat tears in his eyes, he tries to shield his body with his arms. "And I don't have a weapon, oh! Whatever shall I do!"

He'd be an absolute menace with a dagger. Maybe the staff knew this. Maybe it IS for the best that he doesn't have a dagger.

Osomatsu-San Weed Headcanons

From someone who works in the industry and consumes a lot of weed

Osomatsu: Second most frequent smoker, loves every consumption method, is the dab KING! Loves everything, doesn't matter the kind, really loves the stuff that makes him kinda hazy and horny ngl. Looooves the high potency stuff that'll fuck him up, make him a silly ass mess. He will not turn down anything, he'll take a hit of that bong or joint, he'll do a big ass dab, anythinggggg. He likes edibles the least tho because they take too long to kick in for him, and he wants that instant high so much more, he's very impatient like that.

Karamatsu: Third most frequent (3 way tied with Jyushi and Totty) I think Karamatsu, as always, strives to look cool, and I think what he thinks is the coolest looking is joints and blunts, so I actually think he's spent a lot of time practicing how to roll really good. His shit NEVER boats... Also is an enjoyer of edibles, likes the baked goods more than the gummies and candies.

Choromatsu: Least frequent smoker. Sativas and hybrids gives him anxiety like you would not believe, it's gotta be a puuuure indica, and even then he can only take one or two hits before he is couch locked. And with shit that's only at like a 12-15% TAC or something soo... I think maybe I could see him every once in a while doing a small microdose edible to help with his mood, chill him out every once in a while!! Maybe even a higher CBD ratio like a 5:1 or a 10:1

Ichimatsu: Most frequent smokerrrrr! Loves hitting that bong, smoking those joints and blunts!! Likes taking dabs less than Oso, but likes them well enough! I think he's also up there with the potency because he's just smoking so frequently. He likes vapes the least, doesn't like the way they make his throat feels. The dude is constantly high, and you can always smell a very faint weed smell on him, it helps his anxiety a lot too. Sees it more as self medicating, but also good funtimes. You would not believe how great it feels when you're high as balls and a cat rubs up on your face, literal heaven.

Jyushimatsu: Third most frequent (3 way tied with Kara and Totty) He is the edible king, he loves edibles! I think he's one of those cases where he has to also eat a lot to get high, like 300mg is when it kicks in, but he likes it. He looooves being extra silly and wiggily. I don't think he likes the way the act of smoking feels all that much, that's why he sticks with edibles, BUT he'll take a hit every once in a while.

Todomatsu: Third most frequent (3 way tied with Kara and Totty) He's a vaper... I just... I get those vibes. He has a few different batteries, all blinged out and super cute, loves twirling it in his fingers and just holding it, looking cute, feels like he's holding a magic wand that makes him feel magical! I think he's more of a sativa smoker but will use indicas to help him sleep.

She's 5 ft 4 in (i hc the matsuno bros to be 5 ft 7 in, so shes 3 inches shorter than them ^^)

Her outfits come in different colors! Her shirt and socks can be either black or white, and her dress can be blue, red, purple, pink, yellow, green, or black! :) (also her shirt can be short sleeve or long sleeve, and her socks can be thigh high, knee high, or ankle high!)

Initially did not intend for her to have connections to the moon (part of her last name 'Tsuki' means moon, the bunny charm on her phone) but in the middle of making this ref i was like 'eh why not'

Dekapan is the one that created her, so hes kind of like her weird dad

She has a big crush on Ichimatsu, but to be honest she has a crush on all of the Matsuno bros hehe

She moved away from Akatsuka to go to college, but moved back to do some of her studying and assignments back home (also she was feeling very homesick)

A running gag is that her major changes each time she talks about it (in the beach episode she says her major is photography, in the super detergent episode she says her major is painting, continues ad nauseam)

Her favorite season is winter! (fall is second, spring is third, summer is fourth)

I'm mainly refering to her with she/her pronouns right now, but she also uses they/them and it/its!

Her relationships with the characters:

Osomatsu: He just loooves hanging out with her lolol whenever they all hang out in a group Osomatsu is the first to try and take a spot next to her. They're usually on the same wavelength, always able to connect with each other, but sometimes Ai can get pretty fed up with whatever antics he tries to pull. He always ends up getting nervous whenever they have one of their deep one-on-one talks.

Karamatsu: Ai loves his "painfulness", but she sometimes has her limits lol. Usually tries to help him write songs, and they like to sing together. They're both very supportive of each other, playing off of each other's energy.

Choromatsu: He tries to be so polite and formal in front of her despite knowing her since they were kids. Ai tries to get him to loosen up, and he's gotten a bit better at being himself in front of her.

Ichimatsu: They're in loooooove, they wanna kiiiiiiss~ ehehe, but besides that they both connect with the fact that they love their quiet time, and also cats. Ai is very understanding and patient, and that both comforts ichimatsu and freaks him the hell out.

Jyushimatsu: Ai cannot keep up with him, but she tries. At least he helps her stay active! They just both like making each other happy, whether that means going out to play baseball, or staying inside and doing some paper craft (with Ichimatsu's assistance)

Todomatsu: Besties :3 they message each other a lot, and Todomatsu is always lowkey asking her out to do things with him. Usually though, either just the two of them go out or Totty's older brothers end up tagging along. They mutually vent to each other sometimes just to let out some frustration, and they trust each other enough to keep secrets between them.

Totoko: Good friends, though they don't always see eye to eye. But thats mostly because of confusion on Ai's part at the antics Totoko tries to pull. She thinks its really cool that Totoko is an idol, and Totoko always insists that Ai could be one too, but they both dont want her to be one for different reasons (Totoko thinks that Ai would be more popular than her, and Ai doesn't like the idea of singing in front of big crowds)

Iyami: She thinks he's skeevy as hell, not much else to say. Always finds a way to get angry at him, even if he hasnt done anything wrong (at the moment)

Chibita: Also good friends, they both admire each other for what they do. She always leaves a big tip whenever she eats at his oden stand to show her appreciation (and to hopefully make up for the sextuplets' tab they have yet to pay)

Matsuyo and Matsuzo: They love her, don't know what their sons did to deserve such a nice friend who is also a girl (kind of). They simultaneously hope that she could maybe start dating one of their sons, and also think that she could do so much better lol Ai is always bringing them gifts and helps around the house, she almost gave them a heart attack when they came home to a squeaky clean kitchen after Ai and the sextuplets had made dinner together for them ^^

Dekapan and Dayon: Her creator and his weird maid/friend/lover? They're basically her weird estranged dads. They barely interact, except for rare moments when she needs emergency maintenance

Atsushi is very much a gentleman; holding doors open, paying for all meals. He's polite towards his close friends and partners, but he's not boring.

He likes to go out to eat whenever he can, despite being a fairly good cook. He works the best with veggie dishes since that's what he likes the best.

The man makes a lot of money, but he's not a millionaire. He's very good at money management and doesn't splurge too much... unless it's buying gifts for others.

Personally, I have the hc that he helps pay for Todomatsu's things since they were highschool friends. Though they'll make fun of each other and fight, they are still friends.

Sometimes Atsushi will just drive his car around at night with the windows down to relax. He loves the feeling of the cool air on his face in the dark sky, with the city being nice and calm during those times. He'll play chill music and just drive aimlessly for an hour or two.

When he does that, sometimes he finds odd places in the city. He's very knowledgable of the areas around him since he does it so often, and always enjoys when he finds a new place to show others (or maybe keep to himself if he wants some alone time there)

Though I said he was a gentleman, he can be very teasing. It's al in good fun, and he tries not to take it too far. Though his calm and collected way of doing it sometimes has a much bigger impact than he intends.

He has dealt with Totty's outbursts on multiple occasions, so they don't really scare him as much as Totty wants them to, or as they used to.

Sometimes he can be a bit stubborn, and when pushed he can be rather snarky, but he's never cruel. He doesn't have it in him to be cruel towards anyone.

Because I just finished watching the full dub (Before, I'd only ever seen clips) here are my thoughts:

It's pretty good for a dub, all things considered. I do have some little qualms, but its highs are high and its really funny from time to time.

-Maybe its the lack of titles (Niisan, -chan applied to self for some sextuplets or to Ichimatsu by Osomatsu) or just the fact that I've been mentally ill about the show since 2016 and that is heavily influenced (obviously) by the original voices, but the sextuplets feel less close in the dub. This isn't something I can point out that many specific examples of, it's just an overall feeling.

-This is a problem that I think a lot of dubs probably have, but the dub doesn't like to let serious moments be. They often toss a joke in during moments that were previously solemn, either pre-punchline solemn moments or just normal ones where there's some amount of build up to it. Because I like the original, this feels bad from an artistic intent standpoint.

-Characters say things they did not or would not say in the original audio, which is something that also would naturally happen in a dub and I understand this, but at times it felt like low-hanging fruit (easiest example I can think of is when Ichimatsu says he's going to go jerk off to cat porn or something. I don't remember the specific dialogue, it was in the Ichimatsu and Choromatsu skit)

-While at times slang is used well, at other times it just seems strange and is like. No one talks like this. Like the amount of times they say "for reals" out loud is insane.

-Jyushimatsu is played as sillier and stupider than he originally was. This was kind of the biggest bummer for me since as a Venture Bros fan when they had announced the dub casting I was SO hype at Jyushimatsu's voice being the voice of Dean Venture, and he does a really good job, but I don't like the way the character's been written all that much...

Basically each voice actor/actress did a fantastic job but some of the localization decisions (that often feel typical of dubs) were just not the right call for me personally.

Some of the dub's best moments are these really simple things where a character just goes "Okay" or "Alright" instead of tsukkomi'ing, I actually liked that a lot (easy examples: In the car in the second episode, Choromatsu just goes "Okay" instead of "Who are you?" and the delivery is fantastic; When walking Jyushimatsu (in "Tell Us, Hatabou"), Ichimatsu is like "...and you're alright with this?" and Jyushimatsu is immediately like "OH YEAH" so quickly its really funny, and then theres a pause and Ichimatsu just goes "...alright.")

Anyway Totty fan moment, they changed his middle school essay to be more queer and I like it lol

"I want to be a cheerleader, by Todomatsu" Todomatsu: NO, WAIT! THIS IS WAY TOO HELLISH! STOP IT! "Cheerleaders are pretty. Cheerleaders are popular. Cheerleaders get to wear skirts and carry pom-poms around." Todomatsu: I WAS JUST A KID! EVERY KID SAYS THAT! HEHEH RIGHT? HEH? "I want to talk about boys with the other girls" Todomatsu: IT WAS JUST A HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION!!! "And then in the evenings, we could sing campfire songs together" Todomatsu: OH COME ON THATS ENOUGH! "And, best of all, I'd look forward to shaving my legs-" Todomatsu: Oh this can't be happening "and feeling the breeze going up my skirt." Todomatsu: So I got a little curious! So what! All kids do! Nothing weird about THAT!

All this said, while I think it'd be cool to see the movie(s) or season 3 dubbed, I'm not sure what they'd do about Osomatsu's voice (Rest in peace, Billy Kametz). I'm cynical and I think if they thought enough money was in it, they'd probably recast, but I don't know.

Anyway, in this instance Harry would basically be Timmy's brother wich means that they would not only share parents but also fairy godparents and...you guessed Vicky! so while Mrs and Mr Turner would treat them with love on the few ocasions in wich they are present they would also be absent more often than not. Uh....this Harry could fit into basically any house and date anyone,much like Timmy so... the sky is the limt.

.like in the first prompt Harry would have to face Vicky...only now he would face her pretty much 24/7 only being free from her in the brief moments were she leaves to babysit/tourment other kids so....Cosmo & Wanda would not be his fairies,'cause they would belong to Timmy at this point but he should probably get someone else.....or not,choice is up to you. This harry would definetly be a griffyndor 'cause he would resent his parents for being so coward. Pretty sure he wouldn't favor readheads 'cause they would remind him of Vicky.

3.

Harry would basically be Remmy's brother wich means he would share Juandissimo and the extreme emotional neglect so...he probably be starved for affection of any kind and cling to Remy and any friends that he makes. This Harry would probably be a huflepuff and as for ship...pretty much anyone besides Percy, Severitus and Hermione is ok.

4.

This Harry would have everything he could ever ask for and a best friend for life in the form of his own sister Trixie who would use his status as a boy to make her dad buy a shit ton of boy stuff like comics wich they would then share, with Harry hiding everything in his room. Harry would be pretty happy overall but he would often wish that their dad never forced them to uphold the image of distant popular kids (and yeah...pretty sure it's their parents 'cause Trixie definetly dosen't pay the securty guard herself). He would be pretty sympathetic of Timmy and even act friendly towards him on ocassions where they do talk. This Harry would probably be either a Gryffindor or a Sytherin and i think he would be better suited for a slytherin due to his upbringing.

Harry would basically be Aj's brother, thus he would basically HAVE to be science Genious in order to fit in...or you could go a different route and have him be an art genious instead...but he'd have to be a genious of some kind. This Harry would probably fit in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Recomended ships: Hermione, Percy, Neville or Luna

This Harry is Chester's brother and would probably bond with the Weasley's more than anyone else,due to their similar upbringing. I think it would be funny if... Despite being a Mcbadbat he was actually awesome at baseball. He would probably be Slytherin or a gryffindor. As for ships, the sky is the limt.

Ok so...they basically either raise Harry in the Anti-Fairy world to be their godson or turn him into an Anti-Fairy so that he can be their son by blood (choice is up to you). Regardless of your choice though, Harry would probably end up as a goth...and probably a bookworm due to Anti-Cosmo's influence. He would be much less of a goody goody, taking active joy in watching his parents (whom he would view as such regardless of your choice) cause bad luck on friday 13th.I'd imagine he would be more drawn towards Percy, Hermione, The Weasley Twins or any slytherin that is not Crabbe or Goyle and his house would be either slytherin or ravenclaw.

Ok so...the reason why this is "in between Eras" is because this prompt, like the one's that follow would happen in the movies timeline meaning it would be set in the 200's rather than in the 90's like Hp actually is. Harry would be a baby during the envents of Foop, only going to Hogwarts during Tammy & Tommy's era. being the son of who he is Harry James Skylark would have an amazing singing voice & dance skills wich would probably be what atracts his romatic interest to him. He would probably be Gryffindor or a Ravenclaw and as for shipping....i think anyone who dosen't view him as an idol for the get go.

Tammy and Tommy's Era:

this prompt in particular is what inspired this whole list and it was created based on the pixies last line on the following episode:

So in this pompt Harry is adopted by the pixies who raise him...pretty much the same way they raised Flappy Bob meaning Harry is...basically raised to be a brilliant executive who legit thinks desk job is fun. This Harry would probably be a Slytherin or Ravenclaw and....TBH out of everyone i think he would be most Drawn to the Weasley Twins, who would hate his parents instantly for how they raised him and show him new ways to have fun.

This would be the only instance where Harry would still go by his birth name for no reason other than the fact that, while he would very much view Cosmo & Wanda as his parents and they would with time view him as a son, he would still be raised at the Dursley's. Cosmo and Wanda would be assigned to him as soon as Albus Dumbledore leaves him on their doorstep and they would be the one's who actually provide Harry with the love and care that he needs. This Harry would be no different than canon Harry so...the sky is the limit on both houses and shipping.

Upcoming a very-much-not-perfect headcanon regarding the matsus and colour theory, inspired by the question: "What if the Matsus were colour coded in Highschool?"

I'll mention why it's probably unlikely later on, but for the sake of pondering this idea I'm thinking it happened a bit before their 2nd year, when they've already shown distress at being treated like a single entity, and wanting to set themselves apart in order to blend in better among their pears

Interesting things I think a mother/teacher would think when color-coding her children, after taking into account the personalities they've already shown so far:

Red for Osomatsu, the leader. Good luck, strong. You'd probably want to continue to encourage that. We're kind of socialized to think that whoever is the red in a set is the leader, and since he's the eldest... Once again, seems like a boring decision, but it'd show how Osomatsu continued to be defined by his birth order.

Blue for Karamatsu. Karamatsu, who was apparently a crybaby in Ososan, and continues to be very obviously sensitive during highschool. If we think of tears as emotions overflowing, and pursuing artistic hobbies as an emotional outlet, wouldn't it make sense to soak that child in blue? Almost as if hoping it'll calm him down, almost as if telling him to chill (This ofc has funny outcomes after graduating, as he literally tries to embody coolness better). He's the second son, it'd do him good to keep a cooler head and cooler heart anyway, to be more of a traditional guy.

Green goes to the kid that as a child had the shortest temper and was the most prone to violence. Green, which we find in Nature, and has calming properties to itself. Nature, which embodies a delicate balance, which follows so-called natural laws that you'd expect everything to adhere to. In interior design they advise to have plants in rooms where emotions run high, and when you're anxious or angry you're often advised to take a walk through nature. You'd hope greener hues help him remain grounded, and funnily enough he ends up (cough performing) actively trying to fit into the laws and dynamics of the environment around him.

Purple goes to the child they apparently was the most serious, comparatively more practical and level-headed (note: I'm taking this from the wiki lol I've not read Osokun). He can be difficult when swayed by others, but in its own don't you just get the feeling that he'd be an easy kid? Since he comes across as more mature, you can give him a darker, more adult tone, that still carries some positive connotations like "royalty, ceremonial color, rare in nature". It's special.

Here between us, I think Ichi would be the most likely amongst his brothers to feel the weight of expectations that were developed on his early personality alone, even moreso than Choromatsu (who adopts the responsible act later on). You change the context, and the purple that was full of promise starts looking more and more like a bruise.

From my understanding, Osokun Jyushi had even less of a personality, though he'd get some visual gags that really stood out, the type that make it laugh and realize oh, he's a kidder. Mama-matsuno probably could see the if not smart and not a leader, he was at least funny, happy, energetic like he was made of thunder, and gave him yellow to preserve that. She'd be on point later in life, but during high school the yellow came to embody more a warning ⚠️ then anything else. (Unrelated but something similar happened to Oso, troublemaker that he's always been).

Finally, Totty, which ngl alongside Kara and Choro is who got me thinking about how you'd try to expose a child to a colour in an attempt to influence traits of their personality. Being the other crybaby of the family, Todomatsu has an even bigger crutch named "older brothers". He was babied too much as the youngest, and now you can tell that he's come to rely too much on them. He's also a bit shorter and softer, so even within the set he stands apart.

Apparently part of the reason why pink became so popular to give to girls was to "encourage them to be more outgoing and assertive, but of course not too much, so watered down red it is". Doesn't sound like too bad a thing you want for your youngest son. Besides, that way Matsuyo will always have a cute child she can dote on (because who'd expect the NEET rate from 6 out of six to be 100%). Took a while, but it worked, Totty really managing to work out his dependency issues to a degree while retaining his right to be cute and get support if needed.

Now wasn't that fun!? I started thinking about that because some of these guys CHANGED TOO MUCH AFTER HIGH SCHOOL AND BETWEEN OSOKUN!

it would've been easy to make them all Osomatsu, who at his core has always been the same, but instead the Ososan Team went on a different direction. The way characters like Karamatsu and Ichimatsu change is incredible between highschool and Ososan, Choromatsu is very different in the movie from Osokun, and Jyushi really had the most puzzling development across eras if you look at it chronologically.

Totty is great to look at too, because you'd think "ah he's still cute" but his development is probably the most straightforward AND positive AND impressive of all the sextuplets. He went from riding Choromatsu like a kangaroo to climbing the Everest and getting employed first, how's that for the baby of the family?

Reasons why I'm aware this theory might just be me trying to get more meaning from the movie but forcing convenient analyses on the sextuplets, that explain their development:

I guess colours here kind of work as a stand in of how the Matsuno's social environment started expecting different things from them, taking whatever it could grab to set one twin apart from the other and either trying to encourage it or correct it. I mean, I guess colour symbolism is by definition vague, open to interpretation and dependant on context... It's evocative, not factual.

It's fun to think about it in terms of storytelling, kind of as a way to trace a personal development path for a child and see if it worked well or not. But again it's most likely just me trying to answer things that aren't even questions in the first place. Like, it IS a gag anime after all.

The Shooting Range

Yeah my St Trinians fics are basically me looking at small scenes from the films and wondering how does that chaos work

Summary: Miss Cleaver's shooting range finds the girls to where the clay duck hats in a couple of ways.

One thing which no visitors actually knew about, or ever had much of a clue about unless they're a parent curious over their daughters unexpected knowledge of weapons, was Cleaver's shooting range. The sign was covered as soon as any visitors were sighted on the drive and the ducks set out as if they were props for a school prank.

The only time it wasn't was when a new teacher was joining the school and even then the girls would ensure it's covered until Miss Fritton has started the tour. Then Miss Cleaver opens the shooting range again with business as usual.

Currently the sign said:

Welcome to Cleaver's Anger Management Shooting!

If you just need to shoot something, we've got a range of options from clay duck to mannikins dressed in your enemies clothes.

For dart boards with photos of your enemies please see Miss Fritton.

It wouldn't be long before it was changed again, likely to ask for the clay duck volunteers, or people to make more of those hats.

Chelsea couldn't get her hair right. Normally all of the posh totties helped each other, but for some reason Bella had vanished that morning.

“Bella has to do a forfeit again? Does she get one vodka a month just to be put in the forfeits?” Chelsea exclaimed, grabbing a comb to do another adjustment to her hair.

Saffy moved to finish her own hair with a few grips to hairs that weren't staying in place with hairspray alone. “I think she misses getting shot at regularly. Nobody threatens pretty girls around here any more.”

“Actually I had a guy last weekend ask how long I'd been at St Trinians. He seemed ready and willing to threaten me until I mentioned it's my final year. The guys in the area know we get more dangerous with time.” Chelsea sighed, straightening her stockings. “And Cleaver should just waive that stupid height restriction.”

Saffy smiled at her, “Why? So we don't have to listen to Bella making the worst comments ever all accurate to how guns work?”

“Those are some conversations I pretend never happened. Who knew the wealthy have such weird things they're into.” Chelsea pretended to wretch, immediately checking her lipstick was okay.

“Chat line woes. Have you spoken to Lucy about getting the options and which of us callers get through to expanded?” Saffy commented. “Maybe letting a few princesses from Cheltenham call us would help plot their schools downfall.”

Chelsea shook her head at her, “If you want to hook up with guys from there we'd need other methods.”

It's crawling or nothing for you older girls. The matron and first aid cadets are ready for when the shrapnel grazes you.” Miss Cleaver stated, looking over the group pulling on the clay duck hats as well as some knee pads to help reduce pain kneeling and crawling on unpadded flooring.

Bella frowned up at her still. “Have you even reminded the girls that you're opening the range today?”

Usually the targets for the day would have an audience of girls ready to shoot them, checking the equipment while they got ready. None had shown up yet that day.

Cleaver glanced around seemingly noticing this for the first time. “Must have forgot.” She muttered, before bellowing out the door “The Range is open.”

OMG WAIT YOU WRITE FOR OSOMATSU-SAN??? Is it alr if I ask for headcanons of the bros supporting a trans reader? (ftm preferably but it can be more open if you want it) You don't have to write write all of them if you don't wanna, I just kinda need supportive stuff atm

Admittedly, this is kind of a new concept for the sextuplets. Ichi, Totty and Jyushi (and maybe Kara) are the only ones that have seriously looked into the LGBTQ+ community prior to you coming out, but all 6 are fairly sure they identify as their AGAB, so this is brand new territory. However, they all think it makes sense. If you don't feel like the label that was slapped onto you at birth is a fitting one, you should absolutely be allowed to find and use a better one! It's just common sense, right? It should be common sense, anyway.

Oso doesn't treat you any differently after you come out to him. He won't make it a big deal if you don't want him to. Take it from somebody who is completely the same person now as he was in high school: people change all the time, right? Small changes, big changes, doesn't matter. But you're still yourself when you change. Even if you're completely different today from the person you were yesterday. And that's why he still loves you, because you haven't stopped being yourself. You're just becoming a happier version of yourself, and that's pretty kickass.

Kara gets all poetic about it, like he does for many things. Lots of cute, slightly painful metaphors, like comparing you to a butterfly, or the moon, or a flower blooming, or any other thing in nature that changes phases. Even if it's kinda pretentious, you can't help appreciating how far he goes to make sure you know he loves you no matter what. All the cliche flattery is completely sincere, he means every word. He's just dramatic as hell.

Choro is a little freaked out, not because of you but because he's super worried about saying or doing something wrong and totally ruining everything between you. You have to admit it's cute to watch him fumble over his words and get all worked up, but eventually you reassure him that it's okay to make a mistake here or there. As long as he isn't purposely misgendering or deadnaming you, it's understandable to mess up a few times at first.

Much like Oso, Ichi doesn't feel the need to make a big deal out of it and won't if that's not the energy you're looking for. He's more the kind of person to show his support in small ways. If he manages to find anything with trans pride flag colors, whether they be there intentionally or not, he'll probably get it for you. He'd also be really excited to go to a pride parade or other pride event with you, he's kinda always wanted to but never felt like he had a real reason to before... which is silly in retrospect, he absolutely could have gone if he felt like it. But now he can also go with you, which makes it even more special.

Jyushi is much better than his brothers at parsing out the kind of response you're looking for, his emotional intelligence in general is a lot higher than that of his brothers. So if you're looking for a big, excited reaction from him, he's gonna throw you a coming out party. If you're looking just for acknowledgement, he can also do that. He and Ichi are probably the most likely to Choose Violence when it comes to addressing transphobic assholes, as well.

Y'know, it's kind of a funny coincidence, but people occasionally mistake Totty for a girl. Especially if he's not with his brothers. Sure, he is a bit of a twink and he does care about fashion, but it bothers him that people immediately label him a woman just for those things. Anyway, his point is that people are so weird about gender roles and all that. Like, it's completely baffling what things people will attribute to being Inherent and Exclusive to One Gender Only™️. Having a larynx? Oh that's only for men. Being creative? Oh that's only for women. And so on and so forth. Again, it's baffling. All that to say, try not to let it get to you too much. If people misgender you or are transphobes, they just have bizarre, socially ingrained notions about gender that don't reflect reality. You and him can be cooler, happier individuals than those who are so damn invested in goofy societal expectations.

Guess who's brainrotting over the Kareedom proposal again-

(I'm writing the chapter for it in my Karamatsu journal and now I'm ascending, so please deal with me for a minute here)

It's just... that damn proposal is such a perfect summary of their relationship, isn't it?

Like, I kinda had that thought going into it; it overall represented that despite the hardships and piss-poor luck the universe threw at them, they still persevered, & in a way it only strengthened their love.

But like... there's so much more to it. Like, completely accidentally. I did NOT mean for any more symbolism, but it's just so perfect.

In general, their relationship defies the status-quo; they're painfully poetic and cheesy, and the things they find sentimental or deep don't always correspond with the... I don't know... stereotypical idea of it all.

Case in point, the original plan for the proposal was a classic proposing-in-the-middle-of-a-restaurant shtick; Kara thought it'd be super romantic and cute and he'd be able to show Freedom off to everybody! But that didn't work; Totty reminded him that public attention wasn't Freedom's style. So Kara had to change his plan. And really, if Karamatsu went through with it anyway, would it really have worked in his favor? Like even if Freedom was cool with being in the spotlight? Knowing his luck, a customer would've yelled at him to be quiet, or literally everybody would've ignored him when he tried to announce it. A fucking light could've fallen on him right when he was about to pop the question, and then the credits for that skit would've started rolling.

The important thing is that Kara didn't propose at the restuarant; he still took her there, but that wasn't where the question was proposed. You know where he did propose though? At some ordinary, sketchy bridge. By any other standard, it is just some random ass bridge, but to the couple, it was their bridge. They were chilling on this bridge during a cold, rainy day, and yet that's STILL where they had the most fun. They got to engage in their cheesy banter freely, they got to use the inconvenient weather as essentially romantic atmosphere, they got to really shine as themselves. They twisted this ordinary, dare I say negative atmosphere into their perfect romantic playground!

It's not like the two don't genuinely enjoy the normal romantic stuff, right? I mean Kara's whole shtick is him trying to be suave in some sort of a stereotypical sense, and Freedom's an artsy type so of course she appreciates the "normalized" expressions of love. But their personalities also warp the normalized expressions of love and turn it into, like, a sub-breed of it, if that makes any sense? Karamatsu's attempts at being stereotypical romantic turns into him bastardizing the stereotype, and Freedom's artsyness makes her see aspects of love/romance/romanticism in things that aren't normally associated with them, or perhaps even shouldn't be! (I mean, I think this entire post can be a slight example of that, lmao-)

Anyways, there's also the minor aspect of subverting expectations? Mainly just with the weather, I guess. Ya know, the standard "rain is used to hint at tragedy in media" sorta shit, except that was a lie and it actually worked out! Hell, it's like a positive mirroring of Jyushi's confession to Homura.

I think I at least sort of got my point out. But oh well; I gotta get back to finishing this chapter lol.

Last night I had a big panic attack break down bc i mentally wrote out a giant plot that would have made contextual sense, would have intricately tied together up lots of themes and honestly would have been a great ending for an ongoing overarching plot.

But it involved totty rejecting me and saying he didn't love me and like, I legit freaked out about the possibility bc literally I wrote it and he'd be aware I wrote it, and it was ridiculously meta, and I kept thinking why is it hurting me so much, it's not real

So I spiraled for a long time, none of my normal coping mechs worked either. I was too scared to actually look at him, or like read any of my other works and I started freaking out more because have I written anything where he's just wholly nice and in love with me, or have I been writing him as if he's just tolerating me?

Anyways the whole thing felt stupid, and I felt stupid, and I was already in a cycle of mentally berating myself all night long anyways. It was a bad relapse because I haven't done something like that in years. I haven't just sat down and dissociated enough to tell myself how much I hate myself and the things about me, and I've literally never used him as the vehicle to do it.

I turned on my sunlamps, I got in the bed, I ate candy, I kept telling myself it's summer right now and I'm in the window and everything feels peaceful, I'm safe.

And it didn't work. I just kept crying, and I guess I'm thankful I didn't start hallucinating or having incoherent thoughts, but idk. I didn't know how to reach out to anyone either, it felt like if someone didn't reply within that minute an hour had gone by and they were indirectly telling me how annoying I was.

Which then fueled more self derogatory thoughts. I think I finally snapped out of it by reading other stuff I'd written that wasn't ososan or todo related until I calmed down enough to go to sleep.

I guess I'm writing all of this out rn when I should be getting ready for work and eating breakfast is to say something. I'm not sure what yet. I'm having a lot of issues this winter and I'm positive if I had the mental energy i could put all the pieces together and explain it.

But these days I keep thinking about how much I want to be alone, but how much I care about my friends. I don't want to be alone, I want to hang out with my friends. But I do. It's almost as if they have to live without me, or if there's moments where I can't reach them I'd rather run away. Idk.

I think I just need to go offline for a while.
