You had just got home from work. it had been a long day, now you just wanted to lay on your sofa and not move at all at least until tomorrow. so you slung your work bag on the floor and kicked off your shoes, and sat on the sofa, with your head resting on the back of the couch. you groaned as you felt your muscles en tense.

only now did you realise the missing android. he was normally there waiting for you. you shrugged it off, he was probably just updating or shouting at bing. you were taking your phone out of your coat that was lying on the back of the couch when the door opened. the blue clad android, shut the door and took off his shoes and coat. you turned behind and you smiled at him.

he gave you back an emotionless stare as he took off his hat. the hat gave you some good memories, you had convinced him it made him look more normal, and it was such a surprise that he listened to you.

"where have you been, google?" you asked him

"ive been to the shop. would you care to assits me unpacking the shopping" he asked. you nodded and got up. you followed him into the kitchen, no one was the other than the two of you. he was carrying two shopping bags which he put on the counter top. he started to unpack his, while you did yours. he finished his first, so he stood there and looked at you. his gaze waiting for your next command. he fixed his glasses. your bag was filled with normal things till you took out your favourite hot and cold drink, which had been sold out for goodness knows how long, and a wave of excitment just coursed through you.

a huge smiell took over you fave as you looked at both containers. he coulnt contain you excitment, you flung your arms around google and squeezed him. "thank you! thank you so much!", your momentum knocked him over a bit, but he regained balance, he didnt hug back till you pulled back slightly, you didn't think till you, planted your face to his and kissed him. He felt warm.

you let go instanly. you pushed back. it rushed over you. you just kissed google. you just kissed GOOGLE! blood rushed to your face, your ears burned and your heart was about to burst from your chest, you played with your fingers to try and get rid of some nerves.

"i-i'm so sorry google! i i dont know what just happened, uhm" he looked at you and fixed his glasses, he seemed embarrassed?, he looked away from you and cleared his fake throat.

" i knew you liked those drinks, and you had been stressed as of late. i'm glad i made you happy" he looked back at you, and put his infont of him, clutched together. " i wouldn't mind doing that again later. properly though" he said.

you almost choked and looked at him, you started to try and speak but you just opened and closed your mouth like a fish. you nodded and a small shy smile appered on your face.

I'm just going to do a proper post for this. But here is a small doodle of my boy Ray and a potential future design. It's not the best as I just made it on the spot but I like it! I especially like that his hair is now longer and not tied as tightly, it's an idea that has been floating around my head for awhile os being able to get that on paper is really nice. I was going to give him more details and layer his skirt but I coulnt make it look good and as I was drawing this in the middle of the night i didn't have much energy for it. And I did not have the energy to design a trident, so I found a random one on Google and took the outline of it. hi so my s/o is fuckign great (i won’t reveal their gender on thisw post, or probably ever, and thats on being insecure ab my sexuality uwu)((i hate myself)). they always write these long ass google docs for me and they make me so happy. they range from calculating the total seconds from when we first met to songs that remind them of me. sometimes they can be funny since most of them are written in the middle of the night. so here’s an appreciation post for all the funny shit in those docs.

RESEARCH

even though i have played portal like 200,000 times (accurate statistics) i still wanted to look online and get as much inspiration as i could, as it could develop a different idea or even improve my own. 

i yet again, made a pin board!

i didnt catch much, as believe it or not there wasnt that much on pinterest for portal... suprising, but anyways, its something. 

i looked on google for previous portal posters as i couldnt recal of any, and to my knowlege, there atually wasnt many from the actual devs. 

all of the photos you can see, are mainly fan art. although i came across something i really liked and wanted to do with my poster. 

the poster is cool and all, but i really like the boarder. think im going to steal this idea and make one for my posters once they’re made. 

for the posters,  itried to think of what made the game popular, and what is memorable within the game. This photo i think is a good representation of whats popular within the game. 

now, obviously i just dont have enough time to model a perfect to scale version of glados, rig a version of Chell the character etc etc. But one thing i think could be very do able, is to model my own take of the companion cube. ITS A CUBE. and it could be very useful with my ideas. 

i also like the room. hahah, yeah out of everything i chose, i choose the room. but its very adaptable which, sounds good to me. 

Lastly. i would just like to mention that i have no intentions of actually using nor showing the portal gun. i yet again do simply not have the time. and also to get a physical portal gun would cost roughly £500.... yeah, maybe one day ;-) 

i would love to do my own portal short film though, so... you never know :D

anyways, i did think of a 3d model tracked into footage, but yet again, even a good 3d model could be expensive although i dont think id be allowed.. id probably have to make my own.. which is do able, so something to consider. 

i did have an idea of having an object in my hands with track points, and then i would be able to use that to track my gun onto.. i looked to see if there were any videos on that sort of thing, although i coulnt find many as im not sure i was tyyping the right thing in. 

this is the only video i found but its in blender so its not that good to me. good to know however.
