#Star Trek#Star Trek picard#also the whole spacedock thing#that was pretty but I'm not sure if that's a nice callback or trying to hard#the musical themes were nice#and i could hear bits of TOS Star Trek 2 and Generations te all in the music theme#inclusion of a legacy character's suddenly grown child piloting the ship#really again#you mean Geordi actually had good luck with settling down#wow go Geordi#and setting raffi back to square 1 where she was in season 1#im aware that people in real life fall off the wagon all the time#but this felt lazy as a storytelling mechanic#ill keep watching out of curiosity but i was already unimpressed at the end of the first episode#are you fucking kidding me
