Lost Boy

Wally Darling & Reader.

You're visiting your elderly neighbor and she's found some old tapes from her cartoon collection! An old children's show called Welcome Home.

"Oh, what perfect timing you have, Dear!" Grams exclaims as you nervously peak into her apartment from the door. "Come in, come in! I'm sure this is something you'll be interested in!" 

You do, quietly shutting the door behind yourself and shuffling over to the kind of smaller box your elderly neighbor is looking through. 

Grams isn't your actual grandma, you've never met either of your actual grandparents from either side of your family. Though you can't say you've met too many people in your short five years on this planet to begin with. But Grams just told you to call her that, since saying her actual name was proving difficult for you. She's a sweet old lady, who lets you stay for days on end in her apartment when things in yours are getting a bit too much. Says you remind her of her own kids and grandkids in every way except personality. Mostly. 

She actually enjoys having you around, unlike your parents. 

"This is all from an old show that was on back in the 70s," Grams tells you, pulling some things out of the box. You lean on the arm of the couch to get a peak, seeing it's a few old VHS tapes. A lot of Grams' cartoons are recorded on VHS though, so it's not much of a surprise. "I liked watching it with my kids when they were just young babies. I'd say my oldest was even younger than you when the show first started airing. I had forgotten all about it!" 

You know Grams likes cartoons, her hobby as she tells you. She has a lot of cartoons recorded on VHS tapes, which she first got into so she could record shows for her kids. She has old Winnie the Pooh cartoons, Looney Tunes, Mickey Mouse shorts and the House of Mouse, Tom and Jerry, Josie and the Pussycats, old Betty Boop cartoons, the retro My Little Pony ones, Scooby Doo, The Powerpuff Girls, and just about any oldie cartoons you can think of. She's apparently gotten some off of some network called Boomerang, the Hanna-Barbera cartoons. She's also collected some of the stuff they'd sell for them over the years, toys and mugs mostly.

She's watched some of the newer cartoons too and said she's found quite a few of them rather entertaining and good, but the oldies will always hold a special place in her old heart. 

It's surprising she'd forget about a cartoon with how much she loves them. 

You lean a bit closer to peak into what else is in the box, but jump back when Grams looks over at you again. 

"Would you like to watch this today?" She asks. You timidly nod, Grams shakily standing up with the help of the couch's arm. You come around and climb onto the couch while she puts the VHS into the player. 

You glance towards the box in curiosity, but quickly look away again while sitting up straight. Grams shuffles back to the couch, a kind grin on her face as she settles on the couch again. The VCR whirs a familiar comforting sound you've really begun to associate with this apartment that helps you relax just a bit more. 

The show's title card fades onto the screen once the "snow" disappears, bright and colorful and inviting. The show's called... "Welcome Home" apparently, spelled in bright bubbly letters. The title card fades, the view then panning down to a house with eyes in the window and someone stepping out of the house. 

"Hello, Neighbor," a guy with yellow skin, big blue hair, and lidded eyes greets, a warm smile on his face. His voice is soothing to you as well, helping you relax just a bit more. 

You're... a bit enraptured by the colorful cast and the calm nature of the first character, watching the episode with rapt attention. This episode is about Sally, the one shaped like the sun, putting on a performance with everyone else and it not exactly going as she planned it. It's... fun! 

All too soon the episode ends though, much to your disappointment. But you try not to let that show. Grams still grins at you though, chuckling just a bit. 

"Did you like it?" She asks. You're hesitant to say you did, even if you know Grams wouldn't make fun of you for it or stop letting you watch the show if you did. You force yourself to nod, making Grams smile even wider. "Well, then I say we watch all the episodes I've got in my collection. Doesn't that sound fun? I think I've got some snacks we can munch on while we do. I can make some popcorn too!" 

Grams gets up again and hobbles towards the adjacent kitchen, beginning to rummage through the cupboards in there. She calls your name after a second. 

"Could you come in here and help me carry everything out, Dear?" She asks. You jump up to help her, taking the various bowls and bags she hands you. "What would you like to drink, Dear? I've got apple juice, lemonade, and milk. Oh, I might need to call up Ashley later to get me some more groceries." 

"Apple," you answer, a little quieter than you meant to. You say it again louder, knowing that Grams' hearing isn't as good as it used to be. In her words that is. 

"Alright. Apple juice it is," Grams nods, pouring a cup for you. You take the snacks out to the coffee table, setting it all down while Grams comes back in with two cups of juice. She sets the cups down, switches the VHS tape after rewinding it, and then settles down on the couch again to watch another episode. 

She continuously hands you treats while watching as many episodes as you both can well into the night. But she eventually has to turn in for the night, getting you a nice soft pink quilt to cuddle underneath on the couch. 

"So, who was your favorite character?" Grams asks, pulling your hair up into a bun for you before heading to bed. 

"....I like Wally. He's soft," you replay, quietly. You figure you don't sound very confident in those statements, you don't think you did. 

"I think you two would get along very well," Grams nods, backing up. She heads for the box, looking around inside of it. "I always liked Julie myself when I first watched it so many years ago." 

She turns again when she seemingly finds whatever she was looking for. It turns out to be a toy of the titular character himself, with that soft grin and everything. Old looking, a bit worn, but still in good shape. 

"Here. I'm sure he'd be happy to keep you company tonight," Grams grins, you hesitantly reaching for the doll. She doesn't pull him back and lets you pull him into your lap, hugging him tight to your chest. "There, he looks happier already. Your hugs are a lot warmer than a dusty old box." 

You giggle a little, hiding your smile behind Wally's hairdo. 

Grams then heads into her bedroom, leaving the kitchen light on for you. You lay down on the couch, cuddling the Wally doll under the cover of the cute white and pink quilt. Looking down at the plush, you run your fingers over the soft sweater it's wearing, looking up again at the soft cat-like smile of the character. 

You let out a little squeaky hum, hugging the toy closer to yourself while nuzzling into the pillow. You fall into a pleasant, restful sleep for once. Belly full and, while you still ache all over, content.

"Hey, Grandma. I got your groceries." 

You jump, startled from your focus on the Welcome Home episode playing on the TV to look over at the woman walking in through the front door. She pauses just for a second at the sight of you, but then goes and puts the reusable cloth bags on the counters and starts putting things away. 

"Oh, thank you, Dear. Are you going to visit for a bit?" Grams asks, turning to look at the woman. 

"Yeah, I will," Ashley confirms, nodding as she slides a box into one of the cabinets. Her curly hair bounces with the motions of her head, her leather jacket squeaking before she's sliding it off and tossing it over a chair. 

She finishes putting things away before she's walking over and leaning against the back of the couch. 

"I see the squirt is visiting again," she comments, looking down at you. You hug the Wally toy Grams let you keep a bit tighter. Ashley just ruffles up your hair. "Nice to see you again." 

She then plops down in a chair and turns her attention to the TV. 

"What're you two watching this time?" She sends a confused and curious look to the TV at the completely unfamiliar characters on it. 

"An old show I nearly completely forgot about. I used to watch it with your mother and uncles all the time when they were just kids," Grams replies, looking back at the TV herself. She motions to you, grinning easily. "She's been completely taken by it, and we had more episodes to watch." 

"Huh, neat," Ashley hums, tilting her head a bit more. "Does the little yellow guy always stare at the screen like that?" 

"He's often looking at the screen, yes," Grams nods, looking back at the TV. "He's the one that interacts with the audience the most." 

"I see." Ashley still doesn't look very impressed, if anything she looks a little disturbed. You don't mind it, returning to the colorful characters on the TV.

Ashley stays for a while that night, only getting up to grab things for Grams. But later she goes into the kitchen to make dinner, Grams getting up to head into the bathroom for a moment. That leaves you with only the doll and the TV.

You look between the bathroom and kitchen for a moment to make sure the adults are out of sight, breathing a sigh of relief once you notice they are. You set the doll aside, then pull up your shirt with a bit of a wince. You carefully check the big bruise on your ribs, then the cloth you taped on your side to soak up the blood from the cut underneath it.

Your side really hurts when you move, but you're really sore all over anyway.

You quickly pull your shirt down again at the sound of footsteps, grabbing the Wally plush and looking back at the TV again. You blink when you see Wally frozen on the screen, staring, but then the episode resumes like normal.

"Oh," Ashley hums, pausing right behind the couch. "I thought the episode had stopped for some reason, since the sound disappeared. Guess it worked itself out or something."

She turns and goes back to what she was doing, Grams coming out of the bathroom a moment later. The three of you have dinner in the living room, Mac'n'Cheese with cut up hotdogs. You eat yours quickly and gratefully take seconds when Ashley offers.

She has to leave eventually though, Grams going to bed and leaving you in the living room by yourself again. You let out a breath once everything is quiet and you can hear Grams snoring in the bedroom. You curl closer to the doll in your arms burying your nose into the side of the doll's head.

Your shoulders relax a bit more, sinking into the blanket and couch.

You really like it here, though you know you can't stay forever. And you do eventually have to go back to your parents' apartment, which you do after two more days in paradise and it's the same as before you left. But that's hardly a surprise.

You're excited to be back in Grams' apartment nearly a month later. She's left the Wally doll out for you to take and cuddle with, then puts on the Welcome Home show for you again while she does something else. You're grinning, excited to see it again.

There's a pause in the beginning. It takes a moment for Wally to come out of Home and he's staring wide eyed at the screen. But then the episode is playing as normal again. Even if it's one you've already seen, it still makes you smile. It still brings you the same joy as when you first saw it.

The neighbors are so nice. It..... Home looks very nice and the neighbors all seem to care about each other. You... You think... it'd be nice to be in the neighborhood with them, to play with them and everything. Though sometimes they're a bit loud for your tastes. It still feels... like a warm place to be you think, where you wouldn't get hurt and wouldn't have to hear your parents yelling at you.

Maybe you wouldn't hurt as much there.

"I have to go out today, Dear," Grams says, making you jump. "Would you like to come along?"

You sink into the couch.

"No? Alright. I showed you how to run the VCR, didn't I?" She asks, shrugging a coat on. You nod. "And the phone?"

Another nod.

"Alright then. You can keep watching cartoons here, alright? Call if anything happens," Grams says. You nod in response. You wait a few minutes after the door closes to jump up and head towards the bathroom. You look through the cabinets for some band-aids.

You sit on the couch again, pulling off your shirt to look at the cut. You have to pull the tape and cloth off, wincing the entire time. But the bleeding's stopped, so you don't need the cloth anymore.

You find some of those wipes Grams says is for cleaning wounds in with the band-aids. You remember those hurting a lot, but Grams says they're necessary for the healing process. The cut on your side was healing before, but it's been reopened every time before it could.

Reluctantly, you open one of the packages and swipe it over the cut. No matter how much it makes you whimper and tears threaten your eyes, you do as Grams did and swipe it a few more times. Then you place a line of band-aids over the cut. It makes you feel bad to use so many, but Grams told you it was important to cover the whole thing.

You wince as you finish the job, then look over all the bruises on yourself. Your torso and arms are more black and blue than anything else, your skin nearly wrapping around your ribs. It makes you sniffle a bit. You clean up after yourself, then shakily sit back on the couch and hug the Wally doll again.

Your eyes look up at the TV again, seeing it's paused. You blink, confused for a moment. Wally's just staring at the screen, motionlessly, the other neighbors doing the exact same as him. All like you had hit pause on the remote, but...... you don't remember doing that. Nor do you remember anyone but Wally ever looking at the screen like that, like he can see straight through it at you.

There's a pause for a moment. Then....

"Hello, Neighbor," Wally says, much like he does at the beginning of an episode. You blink. "Poppy wants to know if you're alright. You look.... hurt."

You nod slowly, still confused.

"Good! If you're hurt, it's always important to have someone you trust look over it. Like we do with Poppy," Wally continues. You bury your nose into the Wally doll, but nod slowly.

The last time you showed anyone the bruises, it didn't end well though. Your parents just got even more angry.

Apparently the puppet could see some type of conflict or reluctance on your face.

"Would you like Poppy to look at your boo-boos, Neighbor? You could play with us after," Wally offers, turning to completely face the screen. He's smiling, his eyes are wider than you're used to seeing. "We can make sure you're all better and everyone would love to officially meet you."

You blink a couple of times, tilting your head.

"It'll be lots of fun," Wally assures, giving you a warm look. "The neighborhood is always safe and fun."

You look back towards the door, then at the TV again. After a moment of thinking about the offer, you nod. Wally's grin seems to widen, happy.

"Welcome Home."

Grams sighs as she finds her apartment empty when she gets back. But the TV was turned off and everything's neat and tidy.

"I suppose she wasn't able to stick around for long this time," Grams says, a bit disappointed. "I do hope Ashley is able to help that poor girl before anything happens."

Grams goes about putting away the tapes and the blanket she keeps specially for when you come around. They'll be ready for you the next time you come back, whenever that'll be. She just hopes you come back soon.

13 Not-So-Scary Movies to Get You in the Halloween Spirit!

Halloween is around the corner. Everywhere you look a horror movie is playing. For me, I love it. There is just something about being scared while knowing full well you are safe. But not everyone is into that sort of thing. My wife is one, so I tried to find lists of not-so-scary movies but was having trouble coming up with one, so I decided to write my own.

Please keep in mind, I did try to keep the list more kid and family friendly.

13. HOCUS POCUS

300 years have passed since the Sanderson sisters were executed for practicing dark witchcraft. Returning to life, thanks to a combination of a spell spoken before their demise and the accidental actions of Max, the new-kid-in-town, the sisters have but one night to secure their continuing existence. With the help of his younger sister Dani, his high school crush Allison, and a magical cat, it is up to Max to save the children of Salem.

A must see on any Halloween movie list. Full of light-hearted humour, this film is loved by people of all ages.

12. CASPER (1995)

Furious that her late father only willed her his gloomy-looking mansion rather than his millions, Carrigan Crittenden makes a plan to burn the place to the ground. That is, until she finds a map leading to a treasure hidden under the house. But when she enters the rickety mansion to seek her claim, she is frightened away by the mansions ghostly inhabitants. Determined to get her hands on this hidden fortune, Crittenden hires afterlife therapist Dr. James Harvey to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion. Harvey and his daughter Kat move in and soon Kat befriends Casper, the ghost of a young boy, who is “the friendly ghost.” But not so friendly are Casper’s uncles--Stretch, Fatso and Stinkie--who are determined to drive all “fleshies” away. It is up to Harvey and Kat to help the ghosts cross over to the other side.

I may get some flack putting Casper this high up on the list, but hey, to each their own. Casper is a fun little film filled with the right amount of supernatural scares placed inside a package that every age can enjoy.

11. THE WITCHES

While staying at a hotel in England with his grandmother, Helga, young Luke inadvertently spies on a convention of witches. The Grand High Witch reveals a plan to turn all children into mice through a magical formula. When they find that Luke has overheard, the witches test the formula on him. Now, with the help of his grandmother and new friend Bruno Jenkins, Luke the mouse must fight back against the evil witches.

Based on the book of the same name, The Witches is a classic. This may be one of the more frightening films on the list but is still children-friendly. Besides, who doesn’t want to save the world as a mouse.

10. THE MONSTER SQUAD

The Monster Squad is a club of friends who idolize the classic monster-movies, especially their non-human stars. One day, Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster, and other classic horror icons, all of which the club idolize, arrive in town in search of a magic amulet to destroy all the good in the world. It is up to the five friends to save the amulet from destruction and use it to cast the monsters into limbo.

One part The Goonies, one part Ghostbusters, and one part Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, the Monster Squad is a true cult classic that was way ahead of its time.

Watch for yourself and find out if the “Wolfman has nards.”

9. BEETLEJUICE

Adam and Barbara are like every other happily married couple -- who just happen to also be dead! Before they died, Adam and Barbara had spent their vacation to decorate and make the house their own, that is, until the fatal car crash. Unfortunately, a new family is moving in, and not quietly as they make plans to redecorate the house with the help of an interior designer. Adam and Barbara try to scare them out, but end up becoming the main attraction to the money making family. They call upon Beetlejuice to help, but Beetlejuice has more in mind than just helping.

While having a special place in my heart for taking place in Connecticut, Beetlejuice is an all around classic starting Michael Keaton and a young Winona Ryder.

8. PARANORMAN

Norman Babcock has the ability to speak with the dead -- and he often prefers their company to that of the living. Norman learns from his estranged uncle that a centuries-old witch’s curse on their town is real and about to come true -- and only Norman can stop it. When zombies rise from their graves, Norman and his ragtag team must summon all their courage and compassion to the limit to save his fellow townspeople. Taking place in the fictional town of Blithe Hollow, this stop-motion film is a beautiful take on the Salem Witch Trials.

I have to admit, I slept on this movie when it first came out. I had no interest in it at all, but then I watched it and became an instant favourite. The humour is a little more blue for a “children’s” movie, but the lesson learned in the end is valuable for all involved. Did I mention it is also well known for being the first mainstream animated film with an openly gay character?

7. FRANKENWEENIE

Young Victor Frankenstein is a science nerd and an outsider at school, but he does have one friend, his dog Sparky. Sadly, tragedy strikes, taking Sparky away from Victor. Heartbroken, Victor is given an idea of how to bring Sparky back to life. The experiment is a success and everything goes fine, that is, until his fellow students learn of his secret and use it to resurrect their beloved lost pets. Frankenweenie is a heartwarming tale of a boy and his dog, and the lengths we would go to keep our beloved friend.

I consider Frankenweenie to be the sister movie to ParaNorman. Both are stop motion and came out in the same year. The difference is Frankenweenie takes you back to the classic universal horror icons in a brand-new way. Did I mention it is in black and white and has that classic monster movie feel?

6. NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

What happens to the Pumpkin King when he tires of being just that, the King of Halloween. Jack Skellington is bored of the same annual routine of scaring the people of the real world. One day, he stumbles upon Christmastown, full of bright colours and warm spirits, bringing a new lease to Jack’s life. He plots to bring Christmas under his control, only to find that the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton can go awry.

Originally I intended only one movie per director, but I don’t think you can begin to discuss family friendly Halloween without Tim Burton, especially because you cannot have a Halloween list without Nightmare Before Christmas. In all fairness, this is the perfect movie to finish out the year with.

5. COCO

Miguel dream of becoming a musician, just like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. The problem, his family has a generations-old ban on music. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel steals Ernesto’s guitar and finds himself in the colourful Land of the Dead. With the help of a charming trickster named Héctor and Miguel’s dog Dante, Miguel must find his way back home, meanwhile learning the truth about his family’s past.

All bite. Coco is a Dia de los Muertos movie. I know some of you will complain that it is not a Halloween movie. Truth is, the spirit of Dia de los Muertos and Halloween are close enough for me to warrant inclusion into the list. The scenery and background is gorgeous, the story will tug at the heartstrings, and you will get to learn a little about the culture behind Dia de los Muertos, even if a bit Disneytized.

4. HALLOWEENTOWN

On Halloween, while Marnie is arguing with her mother Gwen, the kids’ grandmother Aggie comes to visit. Aggie wants to start Marnie’s witch training before her 13th birthday or Marnie will lose her powers forever. But there is another reason for Aggie’s visit. Something dark and evil is growing in Halloweentown, and Aggie wants help to defeat it. While Aggie and Gwen are arguing, Aggie uses magic, which Marnie observes. After Aggie leaves to return to Halloweentown, Marnie, Dylan and, unknown to Marnie and Dylan, Sophie follow her onto the return bus. Soon afterwards, Gwen follows the children to Halloweentown. While there, Aggie and Gwen are attacked by the dark force. Marnie, Dylan and Sophie have to race to get the ingredients to activate Merlin’s Wand to stop the evil and save Halloweentown.

A classic made for TV Disney movie, this film (and all sequels) are a perfect Halloween movie for all ages, and albeit a little cheesy at times. But who doesn’t love the occasional cheesy movie?

3. SCOOBY DOO AND THE WITCH’S GHOST

When the Master Gang Scooby meet a famous horror writer Ben Ravencroft (who may or may not be based off of Stephen King) during their last mystery, he invites them to his small hometown of Oakhaven, Massachusetts to join in the annual Autumn Fest. Ravencroft tells the Mystery Gang about the history of his ancestor, Sarah Ravencroft, who happened to be an evil witch and is supposedly haunting the town of Oakhaven. The gang decides to help the town and solve the mystery of the Witch’s Ghost.

This was tough to pick. We have Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, Scooby Doo and Zombie Island, I mean honestly any Scooby Doo movie could fit. But I picked Witch’s Ghost for three simple reasons: takes place during the fall, witches, and the Hex Girls, a fictional all-female Goth Rock Band.

2. MONSTER HOUSE

13-year-old DJ is obsessed with his creepy neighbour, Nebbercracker, and his eerie house. After all, rumours of his past have run rampant in the town. But one day, DJ and his friends witness the house come to life. Unable to find an adult that will believe him, and with Halloween vastly approaching, it is up to DJ and his friends to find a way to destroy the house before innocent trick-or-treaters meet their end.

At times, this film is a little on the frightening side, at least for the younger ones. The characters are well thought out and put together. While the animation is not ground breaking, it looks great and fits the movie perfectly. A perfect film for those looking for a fun, clean movie this Halloween.

1. GOOSEBUMPS 2: HAUNTED HALLOWEEN

While collecting junk from an abandoned house, best friends Sonny and Sam come across an unpublished “Goosebumps” book. Opening it, they release Slappy, a mischievous talking dummy. Hoping to start a family, Slappy kidnaps Sonny’s mother and brings fourth all of his ghoulish friends (creatures and monsters from the Goosebumps novels) to life, just in time for Halloween. The sleepy town becomes overrun with monsters, witches, and other mysterious creatures. It is up to Sonny, his sister Sarah, and Sam to save their town, his mother, and foil Slappy’s plans.

Goosebumps (2015) is a pure nostalgia ride with a brand new feel and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween is no different. Trading in some of the humor for a little more horror feel, the movie has a little bit to offer for everyone.

The truth of the matter is, this list is not perfect and may never be complete, but it is a great starting point to the ever growing list of the Not-So-Scary Halloween movies. I feel in writing this, I have left so many great films off, so I have a list of some runner up films that just barely missed being on my top 13.

RUNNER UPS

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA

Dracula and the classic horror monsters are afraid of humans. In an attempt to take a vacation away from humanity, Dracula operates a hotel way off in the woods. One day, a brave human makes his way to the castle, where the human and Dracula’s daughter “Zing”.

ADDAMS FAMILY (1991)

A man claiming to be Uncle Fester, the missing brother of Gomez Addams shows up at the Addam’s household. The family is thrilled, however Morticia begins to suspect the man is a fraud as he cannot recall details of Fester’s life. With the help of a lawyer, Fester manages to get the Addams evicted from the home. Can the Addam’s family save Uncle Fester? Can they get their home back?

DOUBLE DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE

The Farmer family is in debt and might lose their house. The Farmer Twins discover the somebody mean and shrewd is responsible for all the family problems. The determined twins try to trick at their evil aunt out of her magic moonstone to save their family home.

THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD

Two animated adaptations of classic literature adapted by Disney make up this film, which is the only reason it made the runner up list as Mr. Toad, while good, has nothing to do with Halloween. TV shows and movies I remember from my childhood

Cheaper By The Dozen: I remember the first time I ever saw this movie. I was at my dad’s for the weekend and we were eating spinach pizza with ranch (don’t judge me) and I was so in love with the kid that played Jake.

Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2: I remember this one the most because Mickey D’s forgot to give me honey mustard for my nuggets and my dad tried making me some. Also I thought Sabrina Bryan from The Cheetah Girls was in this movie, but it was Skyler Shaye,who kinda looks like Sabrina Bryan.

The Cheetah Girls: I know all these songs by heart and I remember fighting with my sister and cousin over who would be which Cheetah Girl

Bring It On: I mean who hasn’t seen this and again fought with my sister and cousin over which side we were on

Spy Kids: I was obsessed with the Spy Kids movies. I remember my dad taking me to see all the movies in the theater and he would fall asleep halfway through and snore.

Hotel for Dogs: This cheesy ass movie stayed with me because Jake T. Austin was in it and so was Emma Roberts

Wizards of Waverly Place: I might still like wizardry, knowing full and well that it’s not real but who cares

Unfabulous: Spending the weekend at my grandparents and just watching this show was the best. Also I could never see why Addie liked Jake. I liked that one dude she dated. The one who had all those allergies. . .she kissed him after eating a peanut butter cookie and he had to leave for the hospital

Zoey 101: EVERYONE ASKING CHASE IF THAT WAS HIS REAL HAIR!

Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide: This was my show and I would like to think it helped me through middle school

Invader Zim: THIS SHOW IS COMING BACK. I have no idea why I liked this show but I did

Danny Phantom: Yo Danny Phantom, he was just fourteen when his parents built a very strange machine” I can rap that whole intro. This was my favorite show

Fairly Odd Parents: After the years I’ve lost track of this show. . .last I heard of it Timmy got a fairy god dog. I loved this show.

Jimmy Neutron: When I say I sat watching this show 24/7 I MEAN IT! I loved this show and then Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron did a whole mashup

The Suit Life of Zack and Cody: My mom enjoyed this show, so you know it was genuine!

 Proud Family: I miss this show. Like I really really miss this show. They should make a live action one

The Wild Thornberrys: Okay if you did not cry during the movie when she lost her power you are lying

Lazy Town: Imma leave this here cause I saw the memes

Pb & J Otter: “Do the noodle dance”

Big Comfy Couch: This show made clowns less scary

Between the Lions: This was a fantastic show. Like PBS Kids had some pretty great shows. Also did Cliff Hanger ever get rescued from that cliff?

Liberty Kids: I think my interest in history comes from this show because without it I would take naps in history class

Cheetah Girls 2: Need I say more. All the best songs came from this movie. I also remember trying the hostess Ding Dong cakes while watching this

Shark Tale: All the references to other movies in this one movie was great, but I also want to know what possessed them to make this movie?

 As Told By Ginger: About two years ago I looked this show up on YouTube and reminisced

Out of the Box: “So long farewell to you my friends. Goodbye for now until we meet again” This show was so creative and wholesome

Bear in the Big Blue House: That moon gave me nightmare

Scooby-Doo: I remember the old Boomerang cartoons, the movies, the spin-offs, which they still make, Scooby-Doo was life

 Maya and Miguel: This show was amazing. I mostly remember the chupacabra episode

Cyber Chase: Fucking Christopher Loyd was in this show. How can you not watch it!

Clifford the Big Red Dog: Mack was such an asshole of a dog sometimes, but another wholesome show

Zoom: “Come on and Zoom. Come on and Zoom, Come on and Zooma zooma zooma ZOOM!” When I was younger whenever I made myself ice cream I would pretend I was on the cooking segment of this show

Titanic: I recently went to the Titanic Exhibit and it was amazing. According to my mom I had an imaginary friend named Jack and because of my love for Dicarpio I’m pretty sure that character was my imaginary friend

Zeke and Luther: I can’t explain why I liked this show but I remember the guy that played Cookie from Ned’s Declassified was on here.

The Powerpuff Girls: THE REMAKE IS HORRIBLE!

 The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: I enjoyed this show so much. I think Netflix once had it, but now it’s gone

Dexter’s Laboratory: DeeDee is a deceiving girl and you know it!

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: I still watch this show on Hulu and it’s still amazing

Ed, Edd, and Eddy: I was in love with Double D case and point. Though these boys were stupid

 Courage the Cowardly Dog: Why did I haunt myself by watching this at night?

Rugrats: I remember all their movies and eating a philly cheese steak while watching their first movie

Code Name: Kid’s Next Door: This was my all time favorite. I was really into spy stuff and even during book fairs got to by like a “how to be a spy” book

Johnny Bravo: As I look at this show now all I can say is he is in fact a Fuckboy. 

All That: I vaguely remember this but it was good

Good Burger: Kennan and Kel man. These two were funny as heck

Hey Arnold: Football head and then he found out Helga liked him in the movie

Recess: This was an amazing show and my mom’s favorite thing to watch at that

Rocket Power: Woogide woogide woogide

Kim Possible: Again I loved secret agent stuff and when Kim and Ron ended up with each other at the end I was so happy. “Hicka hicka boo” “Whoosha”

Legends of the Hidden Temple: Those gate masters scared the hell out of me but I loved this game show!

Not Another Teen Movie: When I realized Chris Evans, the same guy that plays Captian America played Jake Wyler I lost it!

Hoodwinked: I’m proud to say I know every song in this movie too

The Haunted Mansion: Eddie Murphy is so funny to me and this movie was scary

Minute Men: *clears throat* I may still be in love with Luke Benward

Mostly Ghostly: kjfaljfladsjkf I saw they made a remake and I can’t bring myself to watch that movie

Halloween Town: I love Halloween and this movie was my all time favorite. I still watch this now.

Twitches: Okay Disney Channel had a knack for making great movies

Quints: ajfdkllkj can you imagine that many holy crap. This was a good and out of the box movie

Luck of the Irish: I like this movie and every year Disney Channel plays it plus I was in love with the main character which leads me to

Smart House: I would obsess over this movie because again I was in love with that kid. . .what is his name?

How To Eat Fried Worms: This movie was crazy from start to finish but I liked it

Inkwell: I refuse to discuss this movie

National Treasure: oh yes. I remember eating some subs and garlic fries, sitting on the floor of my mom’s room while I watched this movie

The DaVinci Code: I’m still upset that Tom Hanks played the role of Robert Langdon and not Nicholas Cage

Pirate of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl: I’m obsessed with Pirates and these movies!

Smallville: Okay this show was so great. I love when the make different stories around the superheros

Gossip Girl: I own all the seasons. I remember the first time I ever watched this show. I was like eight or nine and for some reason it intrigued me

All My Children: My grandma got me into soap operas 

The Color of Friendship: If you have not seen this beautiful movie go watch it. Thought the original story is super sad

Tuck Everlasting: This movie was really interesting. I remember watching this at my friend’s house in Nebraska and swooning over the guy that played Jesse
