dkfjgh on a more serious note, my dark past is that svsss was originally my least favorite mxtx book when i first read them all years ago. but for mdzs and tgcf, i was content with how they ended and how deeply the characters were explored, so i didn't feel the need to think up any of my own stories for them.

for svsss, it felt like there were a lot more stories that i wanted to see told about the characters + world, and a lot more places in the original story where i could think of a million different rly fun divergences. the bingge extra especially... i wanted so badly to see it continued, so i did it myself LMFAO

in the end it became a positive feedback loop, every time i create any sort of fan content for svsss i just became more obsessed with it (with binghe)... and although i'm in support of fandom bicycle sqq, for lbh, i only ever really like him with sy/sqq because he's the only one weird enough for him <3

omg bookclub BOOKCLUB. is Noemí not the pinnacle of MCs? i love her, i find her so funny and charming lmaooo. i feel like, with fiction, the kind of (female) leads i tend to like are divided between genuine sweethearts and absolute brats LOL, and Noemí is absolutely in the brat camp. but omg, do you or do you not like Francis??? washed-out lanky sad white boy. 😩 he’s such a sop lmfao, i love that flirty Noemí was like hmm yes. 😌 this one.

i was thinking about this book this evening, when i was making dinner, and what i liked was that it’s small moments in the book that have stuck out and stayed with me—like the part where Noemí goes to visit the herbalist in the village, and the old woman is like hmmm those are some fine looking cigarettes 👁️👁️ be a real pity if i couldn’t remember the info you were after…. 👁️👁️ and then Noemí having to divvy them up between the old woman and the Saint 😭

anyways—rambling aside im glad you like/liked the book!!! 🥺 we should read silver nitrate together, when i finally get my grubby hands on a copy dslkjfsdkljfd. unfortunately my weekend will be filled with cleaning and me sleeping off a wretched cold (i am but a delicate, sickly victorian lady consumed by the consumption 😔🥺) but if i can’t find it in stores im just gonna order a copy online!!! 🥺
