also. to be clear when i write posts like that, it doesn't come from a place of doomposting for me, i more just like to argue for what elements i think you have to conscious of when you're simultaneously tackling the kinds of conflicts you are.

#tunes talks spiderverse #and honestly like. even if they dont manage to defuse those stakes in btsv without complicating one of the DIFFERENT conflicts theyre #alluding to - thats not like. something im despairing about personally #writing is HARD and u can find countless examples of rlly good stories inadvertently naturalising something they didnt mean to by virtue of #how they present and then defuse their stakes #and if that happens in btsv id honestly find it very interesting to dissect #im HOPING and thinking they can land the plane so to speak haha but i think theres just as much to learn from where things dont quite stick #as when they land perfectly
