Ranking every CC episode (except the specials)
You read the title! Every episode except the specials will be ranked here and now, by your truly. TW for swearing. Also, spoilers, obviously. Remeber these are all my opinions, and enjoy!
Episodes I don’t like too much/ Don’t watch:
54:The Candy Kingpin
I know, I know, probably an unpopular take. I don’t really like Dolph, and think the series could have done without his whole… thing. I like him as a character, sorta, but I also don’t really like him. I honestly forgot this episode even existed until I looked it up, and the only thing I remember was Gwen and David’s conversation. The whole story was… eh? Whatever, it was still fine-ish in the long run.
53: Reigny Day
Enough said. Everyone’s lowkey kind of a jerk in this episode, except for Neil and Max for like two seconds. Also, Dolph jokes. Don’t like it.
52:Cameron Campbell the Campbell Camper
This one was pretty meh. I, once again, didn’t remember it existed until I looked it up. It wasn’t Cam’s best episode (I’ll get to that later), and it was kinda bland. Bland doesn’t mean bad though, but it just wasn’t the best. Only thing I remember was the wholesome Dadvid moment and Max saying a funny line. Enough said about that.
51: Anti Social Network
Now, I wasn’t too sure where to put this, because this was in theory a good episode. I just don’t like it. I’m not sure why, but Max being a tiny perv is very funny to me, because that is exactly what a ten year old is like. I just didn’t really find it interesting or catching my attention, but it wasn’t a bad episode.
50: The Order of the Sparrow
I get why you like this, I totally get it. It’s funny and lots of Dadvid, plus Gwen singing for the first time. Honestly, Gwen singing and David’s mental breakdown is what got this higher than Anti Social Network, but it’s still racist. I get it, it’s comedy, but it’s still really… interesting. I know the CC people are trying their best, and it’s a delicate balance, but I still skip over the first few minutes.
49: Jeremy Fartz
We love a hilarious mess up, Max cursing, and David making fun of someone, but it’s also a really awkward episode? Like, it makes for a really good backstory for Jeremy and joining the Woodscouts, but it’s such an odd episode. Not bad, just odd. Whatever, I still like it. Sorta….
48: Fashion Victims
Oh boy, Russian Waifu comes back. I love Ainsley, she’s my precious baby and Max’s purified Doppelganger, and I love her so much. But Sasha’s not my favorite character in the show, and she got especially mean in this episode. I love the whole Vera thing, but really dislike this one. I watch it once in a while, but not too often. Also, we love positivity from Tabii and Erin.
47:Time Crapsules
We love Gwen blushing, improvement from Max, and making fun of baseball. But this episode really hit me with second hand embarrassment for both Gwen and Max. You know when you can’t sit through an episode without getting second hand embarrassment? Yup, that’s this one. I wanted the guy coming through the door to be David and I’m salty, ok? This is my list, and we stan Gwenvid on this account.
46:Campfire Tales
Dolph’s story was boring, Space Kid was great, We love ghost parents. We l o v e Slenderman! AU David in this household, and I want to see more of them. Oh yeah, outfits were great. Max is a baby in this episode, and I love his fear because it makes you see that he really is a little boy with feelings. I also laugh at everyone’s faces after Space Kid’s story.
Ok Episodes/ Ones I do like:
45:Preston Goodplay’s Goodplay
Oooooo, this is a tough one. I love Preston as a character, because I too am a theatre kid who dislikes most people and wants to be famous for her storytelling. I can relate. I love how David talks to him, and how Preston comes to his realization that he doesn’t need to please everyone. Also, canon French Speaking! David is canon. Amazing. He’s still Candian! Anyway, Clown College was odd, but whatever, I can roll with it.
44: The Quarter Moon Convergence
We totally saw Zemug and no one said anything. No one! Why was no one talking about this! We saw the elder god! Anyways, I love Harrison and Quartermaster working together. It’s funny, it’s clever, and I want to see more of it. I do not like the subplot with the other characters, and it really took me out of the main story. Other than that, pretty interesting idea, and I love my pure magic boy!
43:Who Peed in the Lake
Ew. That’s all I need to say about it. It’s extremely funny, I like the motives, and I love detective Max. However, Nikki and the final answer are disgusting in this episode. It gross, it’s gross, it’s gross, but it’s so funny. I know I have the humor of an eight year old, I don’t care.
42:New Adventure
I love how this episode was played out. Funny, clever, and overall pretty ok. Plus, guess who shows up? Dirty Kevin, my friends! Best trash boy :)
Overall pretty good! Not too many complaints, but not too many great things either.
41:The Fun Raiser
Hmmm… This was an… interesting episode. David and Gwen scheming is my new religion, and they are both idiots. Who the hell thought this plan was a good idea? David? I mean, he’s a little bit dipsy, but has SOME common sense. Gwen? Maybe, but you know, she’s logical. You know what? I’m being too picky. I love my dumbasses, they are the best. Also, Gwen sitting on David is everything I love in my life and everything I need. Harrison makes a very good point, Nikki probably found Jasper’s skull, and Max is my scheming child. Whatever, eh episode, love the plot, but I have cringed at it.
40: Foreign Exchange Students
Like I’ve said before, this episode is out of place. It’s not bad, it’s just… blandish. I know, I know, Russian Waifu was in it, but this episode was only ok. I love Vera and Brian, and the ending is super funny, but other than that, eh episode.
39:Attack of the Nurfs
I honest to gods forgot this episode existed. I ended up rewatching it, and had a few good laughs. Gwen in this episode, for the little time she appears, is so funny. David’s sparkle eyes always make me laugh, and Max ends up making me laugh most of all. Nurf takes “talking to yourself” to a whole new level, and I relate my man. Get that therapy!
38:Camp Cool Kidz
This episode is eh....? I love my tiny rebellious children, but I really hate Ered in this episode. It just feels… so unlike her. I get it, it’s the start of her ark, but really and truly I disliked her character in this episode. On the other hand, Nikki is me trying to flirt with other women. She’s my little baby Pansexual, and I love her to death. Honestly, I really enjoy Nikki episodes, so yeah. Also, the literal moment I began to love Gwen with the “Stab her bitch!” line.
37:Quest to Sleepy Peak Peak
Honestly, I almost never watch this episode, but I still really like it. Nerris’s lines, the battle between two magic folk, the one liners, the ending, oh it was really good. However, some of the parts were boring, it’s not the best, but it’s still pretty good. Whatever, I like Nerrison and magic, so boom.
36:Escape from Camp Campbell
Honestly, what a classic. First episode, Gwen being overall great, “No Running”, Max being a tiny Satan, Nikki and Neil being amazing. But, once again, it’s the first episode, which means some things aren’t the best. But! I do enjoy this one, and watch it sometimes.
35:Mind Freakers
Eh… It’s pretty ok. We love Harrison and Neil being jerks to each other, and we love Max having an identity crisis, but all I could really think through this was “Poor Max” and “This is a really stupid and petty fight”. It really is petty, which isn’t bad, but I feel like ti was an odd episode. Not bad, I thoroughly enjoy it, I just couldn’t swallow normal for a few days….
One I really like/ Second highest ranking:
34:Romeo and Juliet 2: Love Resurrected
Bon Bon~! Yay! We love David for having a Tinder, for Max’s amazing performance, and the drama! That being said, it’s overall a pretty good episode! Not the best, but pretty good!
33:Mascot
Welp, I feel like you all know what I’m getting at. The jokes are well landed, Muack appears for the first time ( and steals the show, and that’s the tea), and my girl Nikki is so precious. Quartermaster is weird as hell, and speaking of which…
32: Quartermaster Appreciation Day
I know, it’s gross, it’s weird, I hate the relationship almost as much as I can, but this episode is so freaking funny. So many of the jokes are well timed, some classic lines come from this episode, and Quartermaster being his weird self is a major playing factor.
31: Space Camp was a hoax
More Gwen and David being two idiots sharing one brain cell? Hell yes, lay it on me. Space Kid is so funny, and his inner dialouge is fantastic. Also, Nikki cursing is incredible, even if it isn’t really on screen. Gwen’s line “Is this what success feels like?” is a major mood, and I just generally think it’s a good episode.
30: Ered gets her cool back
We love Nerris and Ered’s relationship in this household, ok? Older sporty sister spends time with dorky younger sister who has more common sense? Bigger sister gets better at being with other people and learns a lot form the experience? Nikki”s outfit? All major amazing things I love in this episode. But, the plot was a little eh, and I got second hand embarrassment.
29:Jasper dies at the end
All I have to say is H O O E Y
28:Cameron Campbell can’t handle the truth serum
Dolph’s autstic? Oh, ok, that’s pretty cool! We love representation. Anyways, this was an odd episode. Not good, not bad, just… odd. The therapy and plant jokes made my dad have to come in and check on me because I was laughing so loud, and most of the other jokes hit well. But it was… eh plot wise. It was pretty good joke wise though!
27:Journey to Spooky Island
Jasper, Quartermaster’s ahem… thing, and Max screaming were the best things in this episode. This episode is pretty great if I do say so myself, but this is ranked lower because I did not need to imagine Quartermaster like that. Excuse while I go burn out my eyeballs.
26: Camporee
Fuck Pikeman. All my homies hate Pikeman. No seriously, he is my least favorite character on the show. His sexism and gross advances really get to me, and the way he treats Gwen is disgusting. Now I have that out of the way, I actually enjoyed this episode, except for Pikeman. Hot take, I know. I’ve seen the Pikeman X Reader stuff on Wattpad. Whatever, back to the topic. Episode was good overall, especially the lesson. Each person’s talents were fantastic, and the ending itself was great.
25:Camp Corp
We stan business Gwen and her telling Nancy to shut up.I love the plot, forcing three people who usually don’t work together to solve a common problem. I love that, and it does make for an interesting story. However, there are some flaws to the episode, but it’s overall pretty fantastic!
24:Follow the Leader
Are you kidding me? This was a great idea. Funny, creative, inventive, and overall pretty good. Playing with how each character leads was a great idea, and very inventive to give them all a common goal. Why it’s so low is personal pettiness. Pikeman, and Jasper was probably on the island when it blew up.
23:Squirrel Camp
Why is this so high up? *Looks at notes* Oh yeah, it’s so stupid I actually like it. No, but for real though, I know people don’t like this one as much as I do, but I think it’s pretty funny. Sure, dumb idea and kind of mediocore, but to me it’s so fun and entertaining. I’m sorry if you don’t agree, but you can make your own list if you’d like. It’s such a weird plot it’s entertaining. You get me?
22:Panicked Room
I just really like this episode, no rhyme or reason. It’s really funny and romantic, and the interactions were so good. David and Gwen through this episode were amazing for the mere seconds they were on screen, but it was overall pretty good!
21: City Survival
I couldn’t remember much of what happened in this so I ended up rewatching it. We love Dirty Kevin, David’s reaction to the city, and David being a homeless twink. Gwen also has the fancy outfit in this episode, and I am all for that.
20: Cookin Cookies
Three girls accidentally start a meth lab and go all breaking bad? Hell yes. It’s funny, the completion of everyone getting father figures, and it’s an overall good idea. It’s creative, good, it’s amazing. I really wanted to know what the main three were doing though, I’m actually kinda curious. Anyways, good story, and very enjoyable.
19:Keep the change
I found this episode very entertaining! Dadvid, Campbell getting better, funny moments, and a good plot! It’s really a great episode, and establishes what the season will be about. In fact, I believe I have themes for all the seasons:
Season 1:Beginnings
Season 2: Family
Season 3:Friends
Season 4: Change
18:Parent’s Day
Ok, Ok, know, Dadvid, but really I feel like this episode is a tiny bit overhyped. I love the Dadvid, Candy and Carl (Except I really don’t ship Neil/Nikki anymore), and how Max’s … situation is handled. Yes, I am on the side of thinking Max’s parents are abusive or at least ignorant. They just don’t care, and that’s where Max’s attitude comes from. It was well handled, and I very much like this episode.
17:Dial M for Jasper
I love Jasper with all of my heart, and watching his backstory was both heartbreaking and amazing. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Watching it made me hate Campbell more than I did, and I expect the episode where David finds out about Jasper would be heartbreaking. David most likely screams and curses at Campbell, and takes off. I’m hoping Gwen runs after him, but that’s wishful thinking.\
16:David gets hard
The ending is amazing, I love learning about Nurf’s trauma, and watching Gwen,Max, and David scheming is incredible. It was interesting to see Nurf's side of the story, and it was pretty good. Enough said.
15:Cult Camp
Yes, it is high. The song is amazing, the plot is amazing, and Daniel’s stupidity is amazing. He is a very good villain, and it works with the comedy of the show. If everyone wants, I will write an essay on Daniel and what he means to the show. Anyways, good episode, funny and inventive.
14:Bounjour Bonqueesha
Oh, what to say about this episode! I love Bon Bon, but her breaking up with David an hour before their date? Not so cool. Whatever. Watching Gwen comfort David made my day, my week, my month. It was amazing. The “I’m a girl” line was extremely funny, because me too Nikki. Me too. Anyways, loved it!
13:The Lake Lilac Summer Social
Oh, what an episode! Gwenvid, Makki (I sorta ship it? Eh?), love triangles, Gwen going ship crazy (me too, man, me too), and David being level headed for once. Uh, so glad this episode exists. Only bad part, Pikeman and Jeremy. That’s literally it.
12:Operation: Charlie Tango Foxtrot
The ending was gross, but whatever. No judgement. Funny episode, and I love how the experimented with the points of view. Petrol’s side was a nice gag and it was overall a good episode! No complaints other than the weird ending.
11:After hours
Honestly, this is a tie with the next one. It is a great look at what happens after all the kids go to bed, what Gwen and David have to deal with, and what goes on outside the camp. The Gwenvid is strong with this episode! It’s really funny and creative. Also, ChibiKawaiiCat97 is absolutely a real username out there, I’m sure it is. Gwen deserves all the good things.
My Favs!
10:Scout’s Dishonor
Neeancy, my child! Yeah! Also, Neil cursing out of nowhere? Amazing. It’s so high up because it actually was the first episode I saw a clip off! It’s what got me into Camp Camp overall, but it’s not listed up there because I do like others better.
9:The Forest
I know, not number one. It’s an amazing episode, with a great plot and a good lesson, but I physically cannot watch it without sniffling. Yes, I know, I’m pathetic for crying at this, but I really see the pain. You can feel the fear in his voice, and it always makes me so sad. Whatever, I still love this episode.
8:Into Town
I mean, I have no rhyme or reason, I just love this one. I can’t even think of a flaw for this one! It’s kind of an amazing thing! A lovely episode with good visuals and amazing dialogue!
7:The Butter Fingered Effect
An amazing episode about change. I love Neil cracking, Ered becoming a nerd, Nikki becoming a scientist, and the counselor outfit swap. I appreciate Gwen wearing David’s clothes, because that’s amazing. I like the theme of change that fits with Season 4. Good episode with almost no flaws!
6:Eggs Benefits
I love Max and Nikki interacting, trying to take care of the egg and Nikki basically having a panic attack. I just love Nikki episodes in general, ok? Don’t judge. Whatever. Preston and Nurf, were um, problematic, to say the least. Whatever, the ending was funny, and this episode is dear to my heart.
5.Camp Loser says what?
Wow… Gwen in a wood scout uniform is actually really pretty! Entire episode was pretty much a fanfiction come to life, and we love the team for that. Uh, I yearn for more fanfic like episodes. God, if you have followed me for long enough, you’d know I would love for the fans ideas to become canon.Anyway, good plot, glad Daniel came back in this way and Pan and/or Bi David is canon
4:Nikki’s Last Day on Earth
I wasn’t expecting that! Honestly, I didn’t see the twist and thought it was a good idea! Funny, creative, and shows off Max’s jerkiness. We love Max development and amazing plots. We also love a Mother and Daughter relationship between Gwen and Nikki. More of that please1
3:Gwen gets a job
This is so damn creative, I love this episode so much. Gwenvid fuel, Max being a terrible person, Gwen breaking down and David comforting her. I bet Gwen never heard a speech that encouraging in her life…
2:Party Pooper
I know you thought this was going to be number one! Haha, tricked you! But really, this is an amazing episode. The way Gwen bonds with her father, the beautiful scene at the end, the background, everything. I love a good “Gwen is underappreciated” episode, and that’s why this gets second. Almost no flaws! Which leads to number one….
1:Something Fishy!
What an amazing episode! I have never seen “Shape of Water”, but this one is just incredible. Gwen is an underappreciated overworked mess, and she finds what seems likes the perfect option. But turns out it isn’t what it seems, and it’s amazing. Also, this episode has so much Gwenvid fuel, it’s amazing. The art is amazing, Gwen’s dress is amazing, it’s all perfect. No flaws here for me!

Guys I saw one of those posts saying Camp Camp is bad and offensive and I just really need to address the whole thing again.
I think I did this once before but it was a long time ago so whatever.
I see a lot of people saying the show is racist, antisemetic, homophobic, and even sexist and transphobic. And imma adress all of that.
1.) Antisemitism. This is the claim with the most backing. I mean I completely understand if Jewish people find offense in episodes like Reigny Day with holocaust jokes. If things like that personally offend you then yes Camp Camp probably isn't the show for you and I completely support that. However it's not a black and white issue. Because we know the show isn't actually making these jokes with antisemetic intent. I mean, one of their biggest main characters is Jewish. They had a whole winter holiday special about Hannuka in which he teaches everyone about the story of Hannuka and they all love it and are so interested in his culture, and even the show's 'Christmas special' respected the kid's religion and the fact that he doesn't celebrate Christmas. Basically we can talk about the jokes and weather or not they're in poor taste or should have been made but I really think calling the show antisemetic isn't accurate even if the jokes were too far.
2.) Homophobia. I believe this claim comes from the episode Jermy Fartz when a homophobic slur is (almost) used on one of the characters. Was it possibly in poor taste? Maybe (I honestly didn't see any harm in it given the context od the episodes but other lgbt people may have and it's fine to he offended because feelings are always valid) but this show actually gives us a whole ass gay couple. Gay dad's. Who are very explicitly married and in love and great parents to their adopted daughter. Plus another character, Nurf, is very very clearly interested in the same sex (Remember Chris? Lol.) And honestly, much like with the first point, I feel like positive healthy representation kinda outweighs a few insensitive jokes here and there. I mean half the things this show says (like how "sometimes you just gotta hit kids") aren't meant to be taken seriously in the slightest.
3.) Racism. The big argument here is Bonquisha. An agressive pretty sexual black woman. Was her behavior probably an oversight? Well I'm white so I'm not going to say it's not because why would I speak over poc? However it's worth noting that Bonquisha is based on somebody. A real person that Miles Luna met. Who talks and acts exactly like Bonquisha does. She's not supposed to be a racial stereotype and we have loads of poc who follow no stereotypes to back this up. Gwen, Snake, Erin, Max, Nerris, One of Ered's dad's, All The Foreign Kids, etc. I also hear people citing Order Of The Sparrow because David (a white guy) dresses up in a Native American sterotypical outfit (even calling himself an 'Indian Chief'). If you think that's racist you'd be completely correct. Congratulations. The characters Max and Neil also thought this was racist when they saw it and they decided to call it out and talk about how the tradition was offensive. Then at the end of the episode Max (an East Indian kid) pulls a total power move and has everyone dress up in East Indian clothing that he himself made as what I can only assume is complete refusal to participate in the racist tradition David had going earlier and it's actually a really nice moment. Guys come on.
4.) Sexism? And transphobia? I'll be real I have literally no clue where these come from and I've watched every episode numerous times? The show has tons and tons of wonderful female characters. Gwen, Nikki, Nerris, Ered, all three flower scouts, etc that are just great on all accounts? And I don't think they've ever made a single comment about transgender stuff tbh? Ever? In the entire show? So uh...yeah...?
Honestly in the end I get how people can be offended by the show. And those are valid feelings because some of their jokes can be in poor taste. However saying the show is terrible or slapping the labels of antisemetic/homophobic/racist or whatever onto it doesn't help because it's just not true. And honestly the few posts I have seen calling the show out have been jarring because I don't understand how somebody can really think the show is that awful. And I've noticed that most of the people calling the show out....have never watched it...and only ever saw bits and pieces before deciding it was terrible. Yeah. That could be why. Guys if you're gonna talk about a show...watch it first? Please?!?

Camp Campus AU: Part 2
Finally! It’s here, after like a week! This took longer than I thought it would, these characters are really hard to draw but I think I’m pretty satisfied with what I have right now. Since I finished this, that also means I dedicate more time to asks, specifically those that requests drawings! That also means I can focus on drawing comics and stuff revolving around their relationships, which I’m excited. I’m really excited to continue with this project and see it grow, and I’m so glad you’re all here to see it with me! You have no idea how grateful I am for all of the love that you’ve all sent so far! Thank you so much. Anyway, without further ado, here we go!
Maxwell/Max : Like many of his peers, Max hasn’t changed much since his time at Camp Campbell. Max is still as vulgar as ever and maintains his pessimistic outlook on life. However, many people think its all just an act now to keep up his reputation. Since Camp Campbell, Max’s life has honestly taken a turn for the better. He has a healthier home life, loyal companions, and Mr. Honeynuts. He is generally happier than he was 7 years prior. The only inner conflict Max truly struggles with now are his budding feelings for his best friend and whether or not he wants to jeopardize their friendship. Also Max is often teased for his “baby” hands, they’re really really small.
Cornelius/Neil : Intelligent, cocky, and overly sarcastic, Neil plays the role of the parent when it comes to handling Nikki and Max. Unlike his friends, Neil was the only one who matured both physically and mentally and feels as if its his job to make sure Nikki and Max don’t wind up killing someone else or themselves. As mentioned before, Neil and Nikki remained close even after each summer brought an end to their Camp Campbell experience. The reason being his dad and Nikki’s mom eloping and combining the families. While Nikki is eager to invite Neil into her life as the older brother she never had, Neil harbors a sort of resentment towards his dad as a result of his parents’ divorce. Although he is glad to spend time with Nikki as well, Neil is still consciously struggling with his parents’ divorce and can’t help but to think that Candy is a homewrecker, even though he had admitted before that his parents’ relationship was awful. Outside of his home life, Neil can be a bit stuck-up and act like a know-it-all at times. He still harbors a deep loathing for Harrison, now mostly because Harrison claims to be a flat-earther. He’s also still incredibly annoyed by Space Kid, although he has no reason to be. Neil also runs a tutoring business at school in order to make a profit, but unfortunately for him (Or maybe fortunately) Tabii’s his only reoccurring customer. Neil is also Erin’s vice president in the Student Council and they seem to make a great team. He also has custom-made glasses because his nose is so fucking big.
Preston Goodplay : Preston is the stereotypical school thespian. Like at Camp Campbell, he’s outrageous and posses a larger than life attitude. He’s both over-dramatic and overemotional, but refuses to take any form of criticism. Preston is often cast as a main role in any school production and even takes it upon himself to critique his underclassmen in the drama department. Despite coming off as a total wacko, Preston is very talented and each performance that he gives is full of energy. Preston is very particular about his passion and is quick to anger if things don’t go his way. Preston acknowledges his relationship with his of his Camp Campbell peers, but doesn’t really willingly share his interest with any of them because of his fear that they might fuck it all up. However, he and Nikki do bond over some musicals that they both enjoy, although Nikki is usually more interested in the violent parts than the actual plot.
Rudolph “Dolph” Houston : Dolph is the youngest of the cast and the only underclassmen in their friend group. Dolph continues to remain in high spirits and prefers to think positively than reflect upon the negative when faced with difficult situations. After High school, Dolph plans on attending a local Art College in order to truly embrace his career as a professional artist. Growing older, Dolph, like any other boy, went through puberty and grew facial hair. However, he ended up accidentally shaving it in an incident at Camp Campbell one summer and it never grew up correctly after that. Although an innocent mistake, the uncanny resemblance to Hitler disgusts Neil and causes him to keep his distance. Ironically being the youngest of the group, Dolph is a good friend with sole senior Ered. Dolph, like Nikki, has a great admiration for Ered and respects for activism. Using his artistic talent, Dolph often agrees to make protest signs for Ered or even help her vandalize the town to get a message across. Overall, Dolph is the same sweet boy he was years ago.
Neil Armstrong Jr./Space Kid : Space Kid is just as optimistic and upbeat as he was before. However, he’s also gotten a lot smarter. Inspired by his great grandfather, Neil Armstrong, Space Kid decided to take up an internship at NASA and since then has put a lot of focus on his grades. Much to Neil’s annoyance, Space Kid’s GPA is practically the same as his, which is impressive. Although, the constant work has taken a toll on him and has made him absolutely exhausted. His exhaustion explains why he comes to school dressed comfortably in pajama pants (NASA merch of course TM) everyday. But regardless of overworking himself, Space Kid still tries his best to put on a happy face for his colleagues, even if they don’t appreciate it.
Harrison : Exerting the same confidence and pride as before while still upholding his magical title, Harrison is the school’s sole illusionist. Although now his tricks aren’t seen as that impressive anymore among his peers, Harrison often attends parties and other small events and shows off his miraculous talent. He hopes that one day he’ll be discovered and whisked away to a life of fame and fortune. Harrison is kind to practically everyone he meets, but his rivalries with Neil and Nerris remain very alive. As a way to annoy Neil, Harrison often lies and says that he’s a Flat-Earther with no intention of listening to Neil’s explanation as to why the Earth is round. Harrison also rivals Nerris not only in magical skills, but also in opinions. As a die hard Harry Potter fan, Nerris had solely read the books and reluctantly turned to the films but found them to be distasteful. However, Harrison had never read the books and enjoyed the effects that the movies had, claiming that they’re superior. And by saying this, the two renew their fierce opposition to each other, but no one can stay mad at each other forever. Having a mostly positive attitude, many might not believe that Harrison actually has a secret, one that lies beneath his iconic white gloves. But it’s too soon to know for sure what it is yet.
Gaylord “Nurf” Nurfington : Nurf ended up growing into a model citizen. After many anger management classes and corrective punishment, Nurf has finally turned his life around in the right direction. He and his mom currently live together and support each other, trying to rewrite their bad decisions from the past. Nurf often participates in volunteer work as well as lead a therapy group. He has also experiemnted more with his own identity and is comfortable admitting that he is in fact Bisexual. Nurf is also Quarterback for the school’s team and is known as one of their best players, alongside Nikki. Even though he is on his way to becoming an ideal person, Nurf still displays some aggressive tendencies and is very overprotective of his friends from Camp Campbell.
The Wood Scouts (Billy “Snake” Nikssilp/Edward Pikeman/Jermy Fartz/Stephen van Petrol) : The Wood Scouts don’t play a particularly large role in this AU, but they still exist in this universe. Edward’s leader status has deteriorated in the group and has become co-dependent on Jermy and his newfound popularity. Jermy had gotten a major glow-up over the last Summer and is now considered to be the hottest guy attending the school. Because of his popularity, Edward now clings to Jermy in a one-sided friendship and uses his popularity as a way to elevate his own confidence (he wants clouts lmao).Snake and Petrol have both noticed this behavior from Edward and are disgusted by his attachment to Jermy. Edward often neglects his friendship with the two and refuses to associate with them. Snake still has a small crush on Tabii, but understands that she is completely invested in Neil and wants what’s best for her. Petrol plans to enroll in the military after graduation. He also struggles to find shirts that fit him.
David & Gwen : Here they are! In all of their glory! Unfortunately this time around, David and Gwen don’t play as large of a role in the campers’ lives, but are still actively present in this AU. Summers back, David had fully encouraged Gwen to leave Camp Campbell in search for other job opportunities in the hopes of making her a happier person. With some persuading, she eventually left and the two had little contact with each other since. Since then, David has been running the camp by himself. Now David is the proud father of one. And that one is Max. David had officially adopted Max a few summers ago to help him out of his bad family situation and now lives his life as a proud suburban dad. David then started to rely on Max to help him co-counsel the Camp during the summer, because he though it’d be a great father/son bonding experience and the rest is history. When he’s not a happy-go-lucky camp counselor during the summer, David spends the rest of his time as a Dental Assistant because he loves nothing more than to see people smile. Gwen, however, didn’t find the happiness she thought she would after leaving Camp Campbell. Searching for jobs endlessly, Gwen eventually was hired as a high school guidance counselor but was fired months after because of a incident where she made a student cry hysterically. Gwen was then stripped of her title and sentenced to a secretary position. Although thankful she still has a job, Gwen is as miserable as ever and has to deal with the kids she once knew from Camp Campbell. Most of her time is spent with Max, purely because he’s given a detention every other day, and she couldn’t hate her life more. Hopefully one day Gwen will find the fortune she deserves.

Camp Camp Actor AU
So me and my friends decided to make a Camp Camp Actor AU!
To make it easier for the kids, the characters keep their actors first name. Therefore David is played by David, Gwen plays Gwen, etc.
Max is David’s adopted son. Max was neglected as a baby and taken in by David's parents as a foster kid. Once he turned 18, David adopted Max because his parents couldn’t but he didn’t want to lose the then 4 year-old Max. Despite that he is a very good Dad to Max and makes sure he’s comfortable at all times. Just. David is a good Dad okay.
Talking about David’s family, he and Daniel are actually twins. He prefers to be called Danny though. He helped David take care of Max a lot in the beginning of their acting career, taking turns on who takes care of him depending on who had auditions/filming.
Sometimes he and Max go on adventures while he’s babysitting and David’s like No Max cannot go rockclimbing Daniel he’s tOO SMALL DANIEL!
Daniel is actually an atheist.
He keeps making fun of his role for drinking his own poison. He thinks that’s one of the dumbest ways you could possibly die.
‘Davey’ is Davids little brother. He’s the only one in Camp Camp who’s rolename isn’t his real name. His actual name is James, but the other kids usually call him Jimmy.
They have a sister that is starring in a Western produced by the same studio.
Daniel never not has a gift for his nephew. He kept lurking around the set before and after his episode a lot because 1. he didn’t have any other obligations at the moment and 2. he loves seeing his brother and nephew play their roles, be it in a show or an advertisement.
Due to Max history, scenes that reference the neglect of Character!Max are very hard on both Max and David. They had to retake the scenes from Parent’s Day a lot because David kept starting to cry. Everyone actually went for Pizza after that, not only to celebrate finishing filming for the season 2 finale, but also to cheer up David and Max.
Mr. Honeynuts is actually Max teddy bear from baby times that went through a lot as he grew up. He usually sits on the shelf nowadays in a self made cardboard chair with a blanket and pillow enjoying his 'retirement' to make sure he doesn’t break apart. When the script called for a beat up teddy they had him join their actor family.
Gwen and Jen(nifer) are sisters and while they’re a year apart in age they look a lot like each other. Jennifer is the older one of them.
Offstage Max is a real sweetheart and actually acts like a ten year-old. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t like pranks though. He and Daniel love playing pranks on David together.
Daniel always had a thing for pranking his brother. As a kid David never left out a chance to prank his brother back but now tries to set a good example for Max, so when he pranks Daniel back nowadays he makes sure it’s not too bad and tries to avoid Max being around.
In the beginning Max always messed up his lines and said Dad instead of David.
Nikki and Neil are actually siblings.
Cameron always brings cakes and other baked goods for everyone and is overall a really sweet guy. He bakes everything himself and is overall a great cook.
Dolph (short for Rudolph) asks if his character could be changed everyday because he hates it but his mom is sick and they need the money so he can’t do much.
After the season 2 finale everyone got together and threatened to leave the show if Dolph’s character wasn’t changed to something less....bad. It worked and his character was changed for season 3. The first episode switches between David taking the campers on a hike and Gwen explaining to dolph who he acts like and then helping him change his outfit and hairstyle. After the episode all that is left of season 1/2 Dolph is the accent and the love for art. His role name is changed to Rudi.
The Quartermaster just showed up one day. In "Quartermaster Appreciation Day", the script had David give the Quartermaster a raise and the episode was supposed to focus on the campers trying to find a present. Instead, the Quartersister walked in. Everyone's like 'David who the fuck is THAT'. Poor guy has no idea though. But because they were close to deadline they were supposed to just stay in character if something happened.
Cameraman: gesture to keep going. David:...."your very own qUARTER..SISTER"
Neil is autistic.
Germy Fartz is actually a really popular child actor who agreed to this role for the hell of it. All the kids were like wow its so cool to meet u who're you playing. And Germys like "i'm fart guy"
Cue immense giggles from all children.
Bonquisha usually plays the heroine in an action series and is pretty much a 'guest star' in ep7. She came back cause fans kept asking if Character!David was single and how the date with Character!Bonquisha went. So they made Bonjour Bonquisha. Since no one recognised her in the show it’s widely believed in the fandom that the action series whos lead Bonquisha plays either doesn’t exist in the Camp Camp universe or has another actress in her role.
Jacob played her love interest in her last movie and his appearance as her new lover is a nod to that.
Space Kid was supposed to only wear a NASA cap and jacket, but when auditions started and Neil Armstrong Jr. showed up in a self made space suit it was changed to fit him more. He wanted to get this role because he had the fascination for space basically layed in the crib and always loved both space and acting.
The other kids all call him Nebby (from Nebula) off set to avoid confusion between the two Neils. He loves this nickname.
When Max first started to get involved in acting and such David really wanted to support him but he was worried about the whole acting world and how it'll affect him. Especially because Max was neglected- he wants attention because of it. What if acting gives him the wrong attention? David is Worried but still supportive
So David gets him an acting coach and Max tries for commercials and David's talking with Max's therapist and coach on the sideline just checking in and being a good father.
Then Max tries for this role and David is Worried because its kinda close to home a bit with the "bad parents jokes" but Max really wants to do it and he does great! He gets a callback! McDonalds for dinner!
When the casting director went on break during auditions for Max' role he thought about how for the role of the male counselor they needed a man that looked like god himself would go to him for comfort. Cue him running into David calming down a young boy that had lost his parents in the chaos of auditions.
In the original pitch of the show, Max’s role was called Tony.
Aaaaand that’s the basics!

001, Camp Camp :o
Ayyy, thanks for the ask.
Camp Camp
001 | Send me a fandom and I will tell you my:
Favorite character:
Harrison or Petrol.
Least Favorite character:
Hmm, most likely either Dolph or Daniel. Dolph because obvious reasons, but for Daniel, I most likely grew to hate him because of the fandom’s representation of him. It’s… hard to explain? I still kinda hate Dolph more though.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon):
That’s a tough one. Honestly I’m not really too keen on the ships for this show, so I’ll probably make this decision based around their interactions and how I think they’d work as a couple.
From greatest to least:
Gwenvid
I’ve always liked this ship, I really appreciate how much they care for each other in canon, plus they balance each other well. If they did ever get together, their relationship would be healthy and they would be really supportive of each other.
Neil/Harrison
It’s hard to pinpoint why I like this damn ship so much. It’s probably because I see Neil as a tsundere, or maybe because they started getting along better in season two and I thought it was really cute? Besides that, I don’t have any fucking idea. Soooo… yeah.
Angry Neil and conceited Harrison is my aesthetic though. And that… sums up their relationship quite a bit in Mind Freakers.
I’ve also noticed that Harrison doesn’t take Neil too seriously? At least when compared to when Nerris insults him?
Nerris/Harrison
What can I say? Their rivalry is absolutely adorable. Plus, I’ve always seen rivalries as a good thing (I MEAN IN A TOTALLY HEALTHY WAY, JESUS). Because when you have someone to compete with who also has similar interests, you strive to better yourself and can improve a lot faster? I feel like together they could learn more things about their magic in this way… but I feel like that would be the same even if their relation was only platonic.
Uhhh… my only issue though is Nerris putting down Harrison (Mainly from what I’ve seen in s2e3). I know that’s a part of Nerris’s character.. but I just hope that Harrison doesn’t take it to heart to the point where it lowers his self esteem.
Ummm... Neil/Preston?
I know this isn’t a really popular ship.. but I like it a lot? I think it’ll be cute and I don’t know why, but I’ll probably ship it more when they actually have some more on-screen interactions (or maybe even a good fanfic, who knows). I did have the cute idea of Neil helping Preston by revising some of his screenplays, so maybe I might just write it myself.
Okay, now I’m going to be listing ships I don’t really… ship but I like their relationship and since I still have one more left I kinda have to…
Neil/Nikki
I just found it super adorable how Neil stood up for Nikki against the Flower Scouts.
Like... think about it for a sec. In “Jermy Fartz” Neil stated that he has trouble fitting in and is picked on most of the time, and in s1e3, he fit in with the Flower Scouts. You can see how happy he is by his facial expression when Sasha calls him an honorary Flower Scout. He finally fits in somewhere and isn’t bullied for being himself. (Yes, he was posing as Neenacy, but at the same time, I think he was being himself personality-wise)
However, though, after seeing them belittle Nikki and after hearing that they actually kicked her out, he tosses away his spot in the Flower Scouts in order to defend her. He could have so easily just said something mean about Nikki and disown her as his friend in order to say with the Flower Scouts, but no, he decided to do what was right, which is what I really love about Neil’s character honestly.
Also, in other episodes, Neil is shown to be concerned about Nikki, such as when she got sick in “Into Town”.
Nikki also showed concern for Neil, was even willing to attack some of the other campers in order to gather clues on where he was in “Reiny Day”, and was super worried when Neil disappeared behind the wall in “Journey to Spooky Island”.
They really do care for each other, and have had many moments like those in the course of two seasons.
Anyway, I put this here, mainly because there aren’t many other characters I like to pair besides the ones above, and while I don’t really ship these two romantically, I really do like their relationship.
...Well shit, this part got long, whoops.
Character I find most attractive:
David.
Character I would marry:
DAVID AGAIN. HE’S FUCKING CUTE DON’T JUDGE ME.
Character I would be best friends with:
Probably… Gwen. I feel like we would be good friends.
a random thought:
It would be hilarious if there was an obvious parody of Camp Camp that David lectured the kids for watching.
An unpopular opinion:
Probably that I don’t like Daniel? Can’t think of anything else.
My Canon OTP:
This is difficult… there’s not much canon ships but… I suppose Nerris’s mom and dad because I love them and they are great parents.
My Non-canon OTP:
Gwenvid for the reasons stated above, ahah.
Most Badass Character:
GWEN. MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE EPISODE “GWEN GETS A JOB” LIKE HOLY SHIT.
AND ALSO SHE HELD THE FUCKING PLATYPUS LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL BEFORE IT TRIED TO ATTACK DAVID AND THE CAMPERS IN “MASCOT”.
Most Epic Villain:
The Wood Scouts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pairing I am not a fan of:
INAPPROPRIATE SHIPS ASIDE (Y’ALL KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT), I can’t stand DAN///IEL/DAV//ID. Uhhh, sorry? I honestly don’t think David would EVER date someone who tried to hurt the kids at his camp.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):
Dolph. They could of easily made him an actual good character that likes to draw, but nope, he’s just a Hitler joke. …And that’s why I hate him.
Favourite Friendship:
The main three. Hands fucking down. They are adorable, balance each other well, and their friendship is what made me like and appreciate Camp Camp so much in the first place.
Runner up is Preston, Harrison, and Nerris because they’re great.
Character I most identify with:
Max or Harrison. I can’t decide because I relate to both a lot.
Character I wish I could be:
Definitely David. I want to positive and see the good in people like him.

JERMY FARTZ (S2E4) MASTERPOST: NO BREAKING INTO PARTS, WE SCROLL LIKE MEN
I laugh at that name every time, and I’m not even sorry.
So I haven’t touched the 2 latest episodes because I’m lazy, but this was so much fun that I had to devote some time screaming to it! So get ready kids, because there is screaming (and spoilers) below the cut.
Though first: someone who’s never seen Camp Camp tell me what’s going on in this picture:
This episode has my favorite people. As in, Gwen and David. Yeah, there’s gonna be a lot of them in this post, and I’m not even sorry.
But first! Have some squished Nikki:
I love her.
FACE DOWN BOOTY UP
THAT’S THE WAY WE LIKE TO —
. . . Moving on.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Max’s sassy little wrist flip?
Also can someone explain to me how Camp Campbell won anything athletic against the Woodscouts? That seems to defy logic.
There are so many good things going on in this picture, but the most exciting is that GWEN IS SMILING! ACTUALLY SMILING FOR REAL!
Don’t believe me? Look at this saucy little zoom in:
LOOK HOW HAPPY SHE IS! Also, if we can indulge me for a moment (and I’d like to see you stop me): She’s not smiling because of the game. She’s not smiling because the kids are happy.
That smile is 100% aimed at David.
Girl’s in love, is all I’m saying.
Nikki, what the fuck are you doing?
A lot of this is going to literally just be a dumping ground for pictures I think are cute, because I still don’t really understand what a “masterpost” is. So in that vein, Max is cute. Space Kid, in the background: also cute.
Man, they kinda look like they’re reenacting a super low-budget version of West Side Story, huh?
But I feel like it needs more ~camp.~
THERE WE GO! Thanks, David. Always there to sparkle things up when I need you.
One of the reasons I can’t stand Pikeman — besides the, y’know, all of him — is how he makes David sad. Look at David’s sad sad face and tell me you don’t wanna punch this twerp just a little bit.
Then again, he also makes Max make this face, and this is a great face.
Allow me to deposit in front of your eyeballs some Davids:
There we go! Aren’t we all feeling a little bit better now?
I HEARD MY BOYFRIEND COWORKER WAS BEING AN IDIOT AND CAME AS FAST AS I COULD!
Honestly, “Gwen desperately trying to stop David from doing something really stupid” is one of my favorite dynamics. They continue to be everything I need in life. Looking at this picture caused 75 new Forestwater Gwenvid stories to appear in the AO3 feed. (Ha, no. Wouldn’t that be awful?)
She so badly wants to save him (and her, let’s be real) from himself and I love it.
And that’s the moment you realize David is an incurable idiot. (Who totally gambles because Mr. Campbell does it and he wants to be like dad.)
I don’t even have anything to say, I just love this picture to pieces. Every expression is gold.
Here are some cute Davids:
And OH MY GOD LOOK AT MAX’S FACE:
LOOKIT HIM
HE LOOKS LIKE FUCKING GRUMPY CAT I’M WHEEZING
I’m not sure what’s the best thing about this: Gwen’s face, how proud David is, or the fact that literally everyone is just d o n e with his bullshit.
(Just kidding. The answer is always Gwen.)
I have a moral conflict regarding her, because on the one hand I want nothing more than for her to be happy, but on the other . . .
look
how great
her angry faces are.
Also take a moment and appreciate David. I think something valuable gets broken in his brain this episode, because he makes this face for a solid 45% of it.
Though I mean . . . I’m not complaining. It’s a damn cute face, and he looks like a sad kitten.
(Do I relate all things I find adorable to kittens? Mayhap.)
1) Gwen is precious. I feel like this is a given at this point but will continue to point it out because I have a need to.
2) What is up with David’s center of gravity? Am I the only person who wouldn’t be able to balance like that?
Let me show you: an emotional breakdown in 4 pictures:
This is not a well woman, guys. She’s not holding on to her chill even a little bit.
(Also the way David looks down at his chest after she pokes him in it, like he’s saying “me?” I love him so much, guys. He is kitten.)
Davey trying to win the family over with sweet dance moves and a charming smile.
It doesn’t work.
Though Lordy, I literally made a goose-like honk at Gwen’s face.
(It’s at this point, at 11 p.m. on a work night, that I decided not to break this up into separate parts like I did for the first episode. This might be a terrible idea.)
(Editing this at almost 1 a.m. on a work night: It was a terrible idea.)
These 3 pictures are less than 2 seconds apart. I fucking love the animation on this show.
(And hey, it’s my icon! Hi icon!)
Why is beat-up David so attractive? Is it me? Am I just a monster?
Not a single face here isn’t great. These beautiful babes.
So the general plot of this episode (not that you come here for plot synopses. You come here for pictures and lots of screaming) is that everyone at camp has to be nice for 24 hours or they have to surrender their best camper to the Woodscouts.
It . . .
. . . doesn’t come naturally to them.
Wait, no. This is the picture I want described by someone who’s never seen Camp Camp before.
I cropped out what they’re reacting to in this shot.
That’s because I love you.
(Starting to regret this whole “not breaking into parts thing.” Will I be weak enough to cave? Who knows?)
(Editing note: Nope! I wasn’t! Oops!)
Is it me, or is Max more expressive this season? Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention previously, but it seems like his faces are way more entertaining in these most recent episodes.
In an epic battle of who can be the most charming while leaning, Nikki goes for a classic jazz hands approach that’s sure to impress the judges, Neil opts for a safe routine with minimal leaning but excessive raptor arms (points for originality), and Space Kid brings home the gold because he looks like an old-timey farmer holding up invisible suspenders/overalls, and that’s not easy to accomplish while wearing a space suit made out of cardboard and underwear.
Observe: 3 Very Angry Beans. You can tell they’re Very Angry Beans because of their Very Angry Mouths. Approach with caution.
I would die for David. Just wanted to throw that out there.
I wish I didn’t find Max’s suffering so adorable. (Editing note: I also wish I used a thesaurus. Oh well. Hope you like variations on the word “adorable!”)
Then again, I wish I was asleep and also I’d like some carrot cake, so it’s just an evening/early morning of disappointments.
Why golly, is it time for more Gwen faces?! I believe it is!
AWOOOOOOO
WEREWOLVES OF CAMP CAMP
shut up I think I’m funny
David’s making The Face. The Face that makes me think something’s broken inside him, because he makes it throughout this entire scene with very few exceptions.
But again, it’s a great face.
(Also look at Nikki and Gwen sizing each other up. Isn’t it cute?)
I think my favorite thing about this episode is, like in S2 Ep. 3 — which I’ll get to eventually! — we see Gwen genuinely does care. This is more than just a paycheck for her; she wants the kids to be happy and respect each other, she wants them to learn and even have fun (provided that fun isn’t ruining her life). She’s worried about Jermy, and she trusts and respects the campers to understand what she thought they were doing that was uncool and why.
She’s actually good at her job, and at any other camp she might even enjoy it to some extent. She’s just been very beaten down by the Campbell kids to the point of apathy and, ahem, “crippling anxiety and regret.”
Basically Gwen’s what happens when Max succeeds at what he was trying to do to David all season 1.
Pfft. Cute. I love Jermy just for the suffering he inflicts on the mains. (Also he’s surprisingly aware of what a disaster he is, without being depressed about it. I can respect that.)
David’s making that face again.
Why does he keep making that face?
David’s brain might have gone all Blue Screen of Death, but Gwen’s actually sets on fire:
I feel like maybe I should take back what I said about her being good at her job. She’s still not great with kids, okay?
But she cares. That’s the important part.
I don’t know if Petrol will get the credit he deserves for this episode, but he’s just pure comedic gold. Every time he shows up it’s fucking funny.
The Most Important Things in Forestwater’s Life Right Now: A Triptych
David’s face
David’s moonwalking
Gwen’s face
(Also: Petrol. Continuing to make me giggle way too loud and disturb my neighbors.)
If you’ll forgive me a little shipping (and if you’ve scrolled this far, I think it’s pretty clear you’ll forgive basically anything): Look at her soul-crushing despair. That is a face you give someone when you’re close enough to communicate to them without a word.
Okay, I mean what she’s communicating is “kill me,” but I still think it counts. You don’t give that kinda eye contact to a casual acquaintance, is all I’m saying.
I feel like I haven’t properly communicated how much I love every expression this woman makes.
Is that clear yet?
Look how proud David is that his babies are participating!
This is entirely for @hopefullypessimistic84, who could always use a cute Nerris in her life.
MAX
MY BOY
My favorite part about the next few pictures is how you can clearly see every thought in Gwen’s head as she’s thinking it.
“All right, you’ll be fine. Just think positive! Be David!”
“Okay no, don’t be David. Never be David. But remember how much you like not living with your parents! Do it for the rent money!”
“Yeah, look at you, girl. You got this!”
“Please don’t let David or Max fuck this up.”
“Oh, Christ.”
“Oh, CHRIST.”
“Literally no one else is gonna take care of this shit. This is your job. You HAVE to.”
“Still better than living with your parents. Technically.”
Petrol continues to be very very good.
Max pulling out his hair in frustration at having to be nice is a beautiful thing and I want more of it.
He is an angry elf.
NURF! BABY! Why are you sad? You did such a good art! You should be so happy!
Please don’t cry, Nurf. I love you.
This shot is also for HopefullyPessimistic, and I hope she appreciates it because it was really hard to get. Nerris was onscreen for like 2 seconds and the cup was in her face for most of it.
Petrol.
Is.
Hilarious.
He somehow became one of my favorite characters? How the fuck did that happen?
This show is sometimes just so pretty, guys.
Pfft.
Some brief Preston appreciation, because I don’t pay him enough attention. With an appearance by Petrol.
1) David is pure and beautiful.
2) Gwen is fucking done. With everything, but especially David.
3) QM is . . . what’s he doing to his hand? Because it really looks like he’s ripping off his fingernail. That’s . . . I mean, I don’t wanna tell you how to live your life, especially since I’m pretty sure you’re older than most municipalities so clearly you’re doing something right, but I feel like that’s not a great idea, my man.
I didn’t know that Max slowly losing his mind was my aesthetic, but apparently it is because these pictures make me laugh my ass off every time I see them.
Nurf has Sassy Eyebrows.
(Editing note: My thoughts started deteriorating around midnight. You might be able to tell by the quality of my commentary.)
I’m sorry. I know Dolph is a super controversial character and all . . . but goddamn it, he’s cute as fuck. I can’t help but like him.
*Daniel neck crick*
Max is such a force to be reckoned with that a dog pile must be created to contain his rage.
Also I’m not sure where Ered or Harrison’s heads are in that nightmare, but it can’t be comfortable. That’s some serious dedication to the cause, kids. Nikki’s clearly having the time of her life. And Space Kid . . . uh, good effort, I guess?
These are pictures of a fully-grown man mocking a child who has been put under his care. Does that make them any less adorable?
No. Such is David’s terrifying power.
Tremble before his cuteness, bitches.
“I’m an asshole!”
But he’s a daggum lovable asshole, isn’t he?
Max’s relief at finally being able to call David a moron and tell him to suck a dick . . . I don’t wanna say he looks like a happy kitty.
Just know I’m thinking it very very loudly.
What a sweet child.
Final Petrol appreciation: he still has the whistle in his mouth. He is a good and loyal boy.
It’s The Face.
Again.
(Gwen is lovely. As usual.)
Look at this smug motherfucker. He even makes this little “hmm” noise which is so cute, like everything worked out the way he’d planned it. Anyone who says David isn’t a dick isn’t watching the show closely enough. He’s a selfish douchebag a lot of the time and it’s one of the best things about him.
Yes, Gwen. That is the appropriate reaction. (Also she backhanded him. That was no open-palm affair; that’s knuckles in his cheekbone. Gwen’s cold.)
Oh, and sorry about the volume slider. If it wasn’t 12:30 in the morning I’d totally fix that.
David makes a sad little “eunghh” sound when she hits him. It is also too precious for words.
Look at his hair floof! Look how it floofs!
(there is a nervous giggle here. I melted)
I once saw a man so beautiful I started crying?
Something these pictures will never be able to accurately communicate:
1) The way there’s this lovely light 1980s-sitcom Very Special Episode music playing in the background, like David’s going to impart a moral. (Spoiler: he doesn’t)
2) The way Miles’ voice kept cracking like a fa — a bunch of pine birch sticks this whole episode. You might be surprised to find that I think it’s adorable. I’m not sure how you possibly could be surprised by that, but you might be.
“Maybe I AM an asshole.”
“Just . . . sometimes, okay?! Sometimes!”
The best moral and possibly my new favorite line to randomly quote.
LOOK AT THE BLUSHY BOY
LOOK HOW HANDSOME HE IS
HOW PURE
HOW FLUSTERED
WATCH HIM STORM OFF WITH THAT LITTLE ANGRY POUT
HE’S PROBABLY OFF TO ANGRY-CRY AND WRITE IN HIS DIARY
MAYBE CALL HIS MOM AND ASK IF SHE’S DISAPPOINTED IN HIM
HE IS THE SWEETEST
Even if I didn’t love every minute of the episode leading up to this (and I do), these last 5 seconds would absolutely skyrocket it to one of my favorites of the entire show. Just look how fucking cute this is. Look at it!
David is bad at being a person and we love him for it.
And here ends the longest, stupidest thing I’ve ever written. I’m genuinely curious to see if anyone made it all the way through. If you did . . . you deserve a cookie or something. Definitely mention in the tags or send me an ask saying you did, because I wanna know who’s almost as nerdy and lame as I am!

The Parents Episode
#Let Jermy’s horrible parents show up and not see Jermy. #Let Mrs. Fartz be really distraught over not being able to find “her precious Jermy”. #Let Mr. Fartz go up to David, making him uncomfortable, and demand to see his son. #Let David be like, “uhhh. We don’t really have him anymore.” #Let Mr. Fartz get pissed and go all Vernon Dursley on David. #Let David scream and promise he can fix it. #Let Max, Nikki, and Neil laugh as this is happening. #Let the trio do everything possible to screw with Jermy’s parents. #Let the Woodscouts come to Camp Campbell wanting to take over the camp or something. #Let Jermy come with them. #Let Jermy see his parents and just fucking, “Mom! Dad! You made it!” #Let Chuckles come out of fucking nowhere. #Let Jermy see Chuckles, causing his eyes to light up. #Let Jermy pull peanut butter out of nowhere and apply it to his gums. #Let Jermy and Chuckles make out. #Let everybody, except Jermy’s parents, look on with disgust.

My thoughts on the finale
uuuunder under cut!
- DADVID DADVID DADVID
- okay so it’s not canon (YET), but like
- IT BASICALLY IS
- my heart absolutely broke when we found out Max’s parents’ didn’t sign him up for anything, because it means they didn’t care, and that they just wanted him gone. Max being brought to tears as David pieces it together. UGH, I WANNA DIE GIMME THAT ADOPTION PROCESS ALREADY RT
- How David ends up handling it kills me and revives me simultaneously in a never-ending loop. Giving up the fate of the camp, his dream job, his life, for Max was beautiful.
- Max finally seeing that David cares! so much! I saw a post saying that these scenes show us why Max was so tempted to make David crack in season 1, because he believed that underneath it all, David didn’t care, and he could keep himself distant believing that no ones cares because it’s so much easier, and honestly I agree so much.
- Harrison my son no!
- fuck off nikki’s mom pay attention to your daughter
- NEIL’S DAD
- FUCKIN,, SOCK-RATES
- NEIL’S DAD AND NIKKI’S MOM OH MY GOD
- Nerris and her dad listen to dnd podcasts and they love taz and nothing you can say will convince me otherwise
- I’m kind of not sure how to feel about Dolf’s dad? he’s just so dense, i get bringing in a literal nazi for a hitler-joke character would be bad, but like, ??? ugh it’s weird im sorry Dolf you deserve better my son
- preston is this why you scream all the time
- ERED’S COOL GAY DADS BEING GREAT
- nurf continues to impress me with being a really smart self-aware asshole and his hug scene with his mom is so cute
- SPACE KID’S NAME IS ACTUALLY NEIL ARMSTRONG JR
- NEIL FUCKIN ARMSTRONG JR
- HE WASN’T LYING TO DAVID!!!!!
- MR AND MRS FARTZ
- “For the record, we completely understand” the same fuckin voices im cr y i ng
- Campbell getting arrested by Ered’s Cool Gay Dads™ at the end
- On that note I do think that Cameron will come back in the bonus episodes, but will somehow be teamed up with Daniel, or have gotten brainwashed by him in doing so.
In conclusion:
MY HEART
#camp camp spoilers#cc finale spoilers#cc spoilers#honestly it's the best episode#succeeding order of the sparrow as well as cult camp#now we wait#for them bonus episodes
