Kinktember Day 24: Vicarphilia
IVE Gaeul x male or female reader smut
words: 3,757 Kinktember Masterlist
Happy Gaeul day!
Gaeul is the personification of the phrase ‘Don't judge a book by its cover.’
A big personality inside a small stature, Gaeul's appearance belies her true self. She's enigmatic, she's witty, she's charismatic, she's funny, and most importantly, she's honest. Honest, almost, to a fault.
She's your best friend, and she has always had your back. When you were down, she would always pull you back up. When you were lost, she would always find you. Gaeul has always been there for you no matter what, and you always knew you could rely on her. You trust Gaeul implicitly, and she does you.
There's this other side to Gaeul too, see, she looks ever so innocent. The way her voice always carries with excitement, it's always so full of life and wonder. Innocence is always an assumption people have of Gaeul. It's completely, and utterly incorrect, but people tend to assume it nonetheless.
Gaeul called you up as she usually does, and yes, you were busy, but not even an hour later you found yourself at a cafe sitting across from her. It was important, or so she said.
"Look at this message. He definitely wants to bone me, right?" Just like that, you had your regular reminder that all those assumptions about Gaeul are wrong.
"I don't know, he just said he wants to get drinks," you answered, albeit in the least convincing tone in your arsenal. Of course, he wanted to bone her.
"Exactly, drinking leads to being drunk and being drunk leads to boning."
"I've gotten drunk around you loads of times and we never ended up in bed together."
Gaeul squinted at you disapprovingly. "Well, we almost—"
"We don't talk about that, remember. Anyway, what's the problem, isn't this basically your dream Friday night? Boy meets girl, boy and girl get drunk, boy takes girl home, boy and girl fuck until they fall asleep," you told her, tilting your iced coffee in her direction as a gesture of encouragement.
"So you do think he's gonna bone me?" Gaeul asked, leaning back on her seat as she chewed on her bottom lip, no longer sure what to think of this text.
"Okay, maybe, but what's the problem?"
"He seems a bit clingy. He's all 'It would be cool if we could get dinner before' or 'I'd love it if we could go watch that new film that's out'," she groaned. "What am I, his girlfriend?"
Some psychiatrists would probably diagnose this as something born out of attachment issues or maybe some insecurity. Whatever, why bother with the analysis? She just hates relationships.
She's young and having fun—a lot of fun. Sex, and plenty of it. Men and women in equal supply. Either way, relationships aren't on her agenda.
That's not what this story is, anyway. This story is not about Gaeul, not really. Her raunchy nights with strangers are important, but for you, it's more about the morning after.
"So cut it off with him, then. Give him some fake excuse and ghost him before you have another person falling for you."
She slammed her head onto the wooden table of the cafe. "Easier said than done. I mean he's funny. And he's pretty cute." She peered at you, an evil grin now curling her lips, "And I still want to bang him."
"Gaeul, we both know how this ends, you're going to see him tonight and you're ending the night on your back."
"Counter argument: maybe I'm on top."
"Alright, sure, but why am I here? You're only going to call me right after anyway."
"Well..." Gaeul said, leaning closer. "He has this friend and—"
"No, I'm good," you told her and she reeled back from your instant rejection, her eyes wide as if you'd shot her dead.
"Ugh, you're no fun." She shrugged, unfazed, as her hands flew across her phone's screen.
"You know where I get my fun."
"I'll call you after, don't worry," Gaeul said with a slight curve in the corner of her mouth, and that was the promise you held her to.
The promise she was right now upholding. Your phone is ringing with a call from Gaeul and it's the perfect way to start your morning. You smile, content that your best friend has kept to her promise.
"So? How'd it go, was he as big as you hoped?" You ask as you roll over onto your side and prop yourself on one elbow, the smooth fabric of your silken sheets beneath you.
"Big enough," she says followed by a satisfied hum, and you can just imagine that Gaeul must have the kind of stupid, satisfied smile that reaches her ears right now, "The things I let people do to me."
You shake your head and roll your eyes at that last part. "Come on, Gaeul, are you going to keep talking vague? The suspense is killing me." Your lips spread into a teasing grin that you're pretty sure Gaeul can hear through the call. You do very much appreciate her elaborate storytelling.
"Alright fine," she sighs, and the satisfaction is still there, if the subtle laugh she gives is any indication. "The drinks were good and went down easy. There was the small talk and the questions. So, I told him, he could ask any question as long as I got to ask any question I wanted afterwards. We were curious enough about each other and eager enough. We agreed.
"He started with these boring ones, 'What made you dye your hair black', 'Do you prefer salty or sweet foods', and all that other shit. But then I asked him a question that made his eyes pop."
"What was it?" You ask. Gaeul pauses, but the anticipation is a welcome feeling. Her playful silence lets the anticipation rise in you.
"I asked him, 'My face or my ass'?" You both laugh. That was so typical of Gaeul. Typical, but ever so effective.
"And what did he pick?"
"My face, though I don't think he understood I was asking him where he would prefer to cum. His face was so innocent when he said it. I wanted to give him a pat on the head for such a good answer," she explains in an exaggerated cutesy voice.
"He was all the usual, 'Oh you're so pretty' and 'Oh you're so adorable'. Yadda, yadda, yadda. I'm not saying he wasn't right because I do look really pretty," Gaeul quipped, to which you smiled, and she continued, "It went on for a while, he started asking some... hotter things. About how and when I touch myself."
"Usual guy stuff, sure," you joke, and you take delight in how she snorts a little giggle.
"Sure, well, next came his inevitable, 'Want to head back to mine?' Of course, I said 'Yes'. Then he said he would call us a cab, which, thank god, because it's much harder to do hand stuff on a bus compared to a cab."
"But not impossible," you interjected, remembering how she once described being felt up by someone in a packed train car. The way she grinned as she recounted it made her quite the bad girl.
"Anyway, we get in the cab and he just can't keep his hands off me. All over my tits and shit," she lets out a dark chuckle before her voice falls deeper, lower, sensual, and with the emphasis of a dangerous edge, "Don't know if the driver appreciated it but I sure as fuck did."
"Tell me more," you say, putting Gaeul on loudspeaker and placing the phone on the pillow by your head. You lay flat on your back and stretch your muscles. The joints of your toes curl into the sheets and push them down into the mattress as you arc your spine, and the deep inhale you take through your open mouth is soon followed by a relaxed exhale.
"He just slipped his hand up my shirt while she kissed my neck," Gaeul continues, bringing the memory to life with her words. She recounts in precise and deliberate detail how her nipples went hard the instant she was touched, the electricity sparking inside of her as he pinched at them with thumb and forefinger.
There's a rustling from the other side of the call before she continues her story, "We get in his place, he gets the door locked behind him, and the first thing I feel is his hot breath against my ear. It was warm and it tickled just a little bit. Then he whispered in a low voice that I can tell he thought was seductive."
"What did he say?" You ask, eagerly.
"'Fuck, I've never been this horny with someone so quick before'," Gaeul says and pauses. You both share a small laugh before she goes on, "Honestly, I did think it was kinda sexy at the moment, you know? Then he pulls off my shirt. Doesn't even unbutton it, just over my head with all the buttons. Guess the horniness was getting to him."
"Can't blame him." you run your hand up your own torso, fingertips barely brushing over the smooth, warm skin.
"And fuck, I was horny too. I was hungry. I turned and pinned him to his door, you should have seen the shock on his face, and I planted a kiss right on his lips. He wasn't that great. Wasn't really my type of kisser, actually. Too stiff, his lips were too dry, but still a kiss. I guess," Gaeul gives every little detail about him; from how his height stood a whole head taller than her, to how his eyes shone in the dark with a hint of anticipation. "I wasn't there for the kissing, so it was fine, and that's when his hands grabbed my ass. He was so rough, you should have heard the smack his palm made as it landed."
You hum in approval and bring a hand between your legs. In your mind's eye, you see her ass being spanked and groped, and you feel yourself growing more aroused. "Go on."
"Rough hands," Gaeul breathes into the phone. "I fucking love it."
"Yeah..." You sigh grab hold of your thighs and stretch out the tension.
"I could feel it, how hard he was, poking through his trousers and into my stomach."
"You loved feeling how hard you got him, didn't you?"
"Fuck yeah," her voice, dripping in lust and sex, was deep and steady like it always was when she gets like this. "So I dropped to my knees, practically ripped open his belt buckle and pulled down his zipper. And those pants fell to his ankles just like that, and then came the thing I was actually there for."
"Let's hear it," you urged.
"Like I said, good size, that's for sure, I've seen way worse. No way near the biggest dick that I've taken though. Anyway, I start stroking him with one hand," Gaeul lets out a gasp. You're not quite sure if it's for the benefit of her storytelling, but her sounds have always driven you crazy. "And then with my other, I've got his balls cupped and he's fucking loving it.
"I could tell, his cock was getting so big and so hot. It throbbed so much in my hands, so much so I could feel the blood pumping through him. And my hands were moving faster, my lips, teasing his tip, kissing, nibbling, even licking. I loved every fucking second because his dick tasted so good. After all, I could feel how worked up he was. So, I took him whole, you should have heard him moan, it was the cutest groan,"
Gaeul then breathes out heavily into the microphone, and her breath hitches in her throat and comes out short and sharp. You close your eyes and try and imagine the scene, and Gaeul must be reliving it too as you listen to her soft, sharp, wet breathing over the line. You tease yourself and plead with her, "Don't stop."
"And I'm looking up at him, through my lashes, and his eyes are almost pleading like he was trying so hard to hold his cum. Like he's trying to impress me, prove to me how much stamina he has. He's letting little moans and grunts out from his cute little lips, he's gripping the door handle so tight his fingers were white, and his knees are trembling. He's about to cum in my mouth, and my pussy is aching for him," she continues and lets her sentence trail off into a whining moan as she imagines his dick twitching inside her mouth.
"So quickly?" You ask, pushing your underwear down to your knees.
"I'm just that good, babe. The second my mouth met the shaft of his cock he was practically ready to burst. My tongue was dancing over the head, and I could taste the precum," Gaeul recalls. Her voice sizzles in your ears, and it is more like a deep purr, and it sends thrills down your body. A soft exhale escapes your mouth, and you're imagining her tongue caressing a hard dick. "And I'm only sucking harder now, stroking him faster. My left hand gripping onto him tight and tugging away. My right cradling those balls of his."
"All to make him cum," you utter in an aroused voice that you tried to hide but couldn't.
"Shit babe, it worked. I didn't even have time to prepare for him," she recounts. "He bucks his hips into my mouth. Barely has a chance to grab my head, he just blows so soon. All his cum was hot, and he was flooding my mouth."
"Shit..." You moan softly as you visualise a young man bucking his hips and releasing into Gaeul's mouth.
"Did I just go over to his to swallow his cum?" She asks and gives a laugh.
"I hope not."
"You wanna know what's funny?"
"Tell me," you plead to her.
"He came so quick that he went bright red, embarrassed, stuttering like a schoolboy that got caught smoking by the principal. All the courage he built up earlier in the taxi ride was completely gone. I couldn't help but laugh, mouth full of his cum, laughing at him. But I'm not going to lie. As he deflated so fast after he blew, all that bravado disappeared."
You let out a soft, something, barely a laugh, hesitating to touch as Gaeul grinds the story to a halt.
"Not funny?" she asks.
"Just, wish you'd continue, kinda in the middle of something here."
"Sorry, okay, where was I," Gaeul trails her words. "So I swallowed every drop, wiped at my chin where I've spilt a little and the guy still looks like he's going to die. I wanted him to suffer in the embarrassment a little, I wasn't going to tell him 'It's okay', so I got up and pulled him across his apartment. The guy nearly fell over his trousers since they were still on his ankles until he kicked them off.
"So the guy is a bit of a clean freak, by the way, the apartment was spotless. Somehow, I'm leading him to his own bed, don't know where the fuck I'm going but I find it and push him onto it. At this point, the guy's half-naked, sprawled, with his hand over his dick."
"All shy after your pretty lips have gotten him off, huh?"
"Right." Gaeul laughs, "So I stand at the edge of his bed, kick off my sneakers then pull down my jeans and drop them beside him. Then, he's staring at me and I ask him, 'Like the view?'"
"Stupid question, you're smoking," you interject with a smirk on your lips.
"The guy says, and I quote, 'Holy cow.' Who the fuck says 'holy cow'? Holy cow, babe, just holy cow," Gaeul starts laughing something manic, a cackle which is matched with a soft sigh, "Then, I just kinda laughed, like really, really laughed. It's all absurd, you get what I mean?"
"Oh god no he didn't?" You asked though the amusement was already creeping through.
"Right? What an idiot. Well, he was turning redder and redder as I was dying of laughter. It's about this time I realised I was so horny I had seduced pretty much the biggest loser in the city. Anyway, I had to shut him up, so I climbed onto the bed, and then onto his face. Dropped myself onto his stupid mouth. And then..."
"Then?" you prod her on.
"His lips and his tongue..." She makes a small moan, pleased, deep and sexy, and the sound is so hot. "Hungry boy. He starts lapping at my pussy like he was starved. He's all groaning and humming, and the vibration. That feels fucking great."
"Oh fuck..." You let a tiny sigh, one that you meant to keep to yourself, escape your lips. Gaeul keeps talking and in your mind, you're there with her—her voice fills your mind and draws an image. She tells you how she fucks his mouth, your imagination takes over.
"His tongue dances on me, licking over my lips, my clit, his lips were smacking and sucking on my most sensitive parts. He was so... energetic," Gaeul tells you. Your eyes closed, you can only imagine, in full detail, every stroke and flicker of his tongue as she described it. "Worshiping my pussy like it's the best thing in the world. So when his hands are grabbing hold of my ass and bringing my cunt to him even harder... Shit," Gaeul breaks from the story and swears.
You can't hold back anymore, touching yourself to the thought.
"He wanted this so bad. His hands were clamping hard onto me. His mouth sucking on me like a fucking vacuum. His tongue was all over the place. Everywhere it touches is like a jolt of electricity going through me. It's sending such great signals up my spine, right to my brain." Gaeul lets out a full, deep moan. One that is as tantalising as her words. It's followed by the sound of rustling. "I start just grinding down into his stupid fucking face."
You'd love nothing else in the world right now than to have Gaeul ride your face. "I can't get over how fucking delicious you would look like," you tease, "With that dumb guy, pinned under you,"
"I was moaning like crazy. If the neighbours were asleep, well, not anymore," Gaeul describes.
"Fuck," you respond as you find rhythm. You lose track of everything else, picturing Gaeul riding his stupid face until she cums.
Gaeul moans again, louder now, and with a husky, raspiness to her tone that you have memorised.
"There is no shame left in me, my hips moving into him with a need, a need for release," Gaeul chokes, then resumes with a pace of her own, "I can feel his fingers digging deeper and deeper into my flesh, and he was rocking my cunt even harder into his hungry mouth. His tongue, working so good. So, good...
"Just remembering how it felt... I'm gonna..." Gaeul moans again, throaty and harsh, and you picture it all in your head. She is sitting up in bed, legs wide apart, and fingers buried deep inside of her pussy. Moaning into her phone, moaning to you.
It's an amazing fucking image.
"I can feel my entire body starting to go warm, my thighs clamping onto the poor guy's skull. Oh my fucking god, his tongue, I love it, his tongue," Gaeul makes a long, low and whimpering moan, like the air was squeezed out of her lungs. "It feels like I've lost myself in time, completely. I'm going faster, my hips rolling into him faster and faster, desperate for relief. Then all of a sudden, it's all hitting at once, the spark just lights and I am exploding like a supernova, my core just bursting, and my pussy flooding his fucking stupid mouth."
You're chasing her high. "Shit," you find yourself whispering, softly at first and getting louder as you feel yourself nearing that beautiful feeling of sweet relief.
"I'm cumming so hard, his tongue is still going, still drawing out every last bit of my climax as he keeps feeding on me. The sheer fucking madness of the sensation... fuck, imagine that."
"Yeah..." You groan. "I am."
"You're so filthy," her words drip of sultry sex and that tease in her voice sends a tremor down to the base of your spine, setting your insides ablaze as the blood in your veins rises, the throbbing inside you reaching an incomparable peak. "Are you getting off to my story? I fucking dare you."
You close your eyes and breathe in the thought of her. Every inch of her lustful body, "I am."
"Fucking perv," she growls, her breathing sharp and shaky, erratic. A sound that resonates within your bones, and shakes you to the core. "Bet you want your lips wrapped around my clit. Let you suck the sweet nectar from my tight, hot pussy," she breathes through her teeth in a hissing sound as she falls over that edge. You can feel her shiver and quake. You hear every little shuddering whimper, every moan that escapes her soft, pretty little lips, and they ignite every sense in your body as if you can feel the electricity coursing through every nerve in her body, just as it is inside you.
You cum for her. You always cum for her, just like this. Your toes curl and your back arches. You twist, writhing under the feeling, your skin blazing as sweat rolls over it, your whole world coming to a beautiful standstill. You can't help but cry out her name in your bed.
"Nothing else makes me cum like this," you mumble, breathless and ragged as you finish, then add "You slut."
"How does it make you feel, hearing my dirty sex stories first thing in the morning?" Gaeul purrs. There is a sinister satisfaction in her tone, and that coy smile curling the corner of her mouth is definitely there in her voice. You can imagine it clear as day because it has been etched into your brain, that stupid, irresistible grin of hers.
"More," you beg, the aftermath of your orgasm, leaving the inside of your body searing hot, a sensation that you want desperately more of.
"Not now. Later," she sneers, knowing how it kills you inside.

Woo woo woo snarf
Content: Privacy Invasion, Voyeurism, Possessive Behavior, Non-Con Touching, Dirty Talk
Things have been… wrong around the house. It’s been a slow escalation, a proverbial boiling of the frog. Glasses in the dish washer when you thought you left them in the sink. Blankets you left in a heap neatly folded. Food missing from the fridge and misplaced laundry.
Things you could write off as forgetfulness, as thoughtless habits borne of living alone for so long.
That is… until the t-shirt. It’s very clearly a man’s. Just… a white undershirt. But it’s not your size and smells unfamiliar even after a wash with your own clothes - like cologne or aftershave. Masculine.
Until the boot prints in the snow outside your house, still just visible even after Johnny unknowingly bounds through it.
Your mind scrambles to excuse it.
The t-shirt could be your ex’s. You did just pull out the winter gear; it could be left over from last year, something you didn’t manage to weed out. (Even if it smells nothing like your ex. Smells…. better.)
And you’re not far from some pretty popular hiking trails. Hikers sometimes pass through your yard. (Thought they never come that close to the house…. especially not since you got Johnny)
Johnny’s the only reason you haven’t gone full paranoid. He’s so protective, you can’t imagine anyone getting close to, never mind in, the house without him making a huge, bloody fuss.
Probably just cabin fever, you tell yourself. You need to go out more. Reach out to the friends you don’t see enough.
Johnny seems restless the first time you start dressing for a night out. You soothe him with a big hug.
“I’m just going to see Sarah and Mel. You like them, baby.” His ears perk, head tilting at the familiar names. You smile and press a kiss to the very top of his nose. “Next time I’ll have them come see you.”
When you come home, he’s torn up your favorite “date night” dress. You groan and scold him, but still allow him to plaster himself to your side when you climb into bed.
The next time you go out with them, you see a semi-familiar face in the little low-key bar. Soap. Can’t believe you remember his name months later, but then again he’s difficult to forget. Seared into your mind like a warning and a temptation. End up staring at him a little too hard, shocked to see him in the bar you and your friends have picked.
When he catches you looking, he grins like you’re an old friend, tips his head and his beer with a wink. Your friends notice, encourage you to say hi. But you wave them off, blushing, and they understand your introversion enough not to push.
He still manages to corner you when you go to the restroom. (Alone, for fucks sake. You should know better). All you see is a shadow in the hall, backlit by the bar. When you shift closer to the wall to let them pass, they turn and nearly pin you.
“Fancy seein’ you again,” a deep Scottish brogue rumbles. Too close to your ear; the bar music isn’t nearly loud enough to excuse it. “Out with your sister again?”
It takes you a second to recover, a bit shocked that he really does remember you. And far, far too aware of how close he’s standing, the heat of his body seeping into you.
“A couple friends, actually.”
“Still no boyfriend, eh? That pup o’ yours still a maneater like his owner?”
Your mouth drops open, offended and befuddled in equal measures.
“Wha— well, yes, he is. Not that it’s any of your business.”
He chuckles, eyes twinkling in the shadows. Amused and just a touch condescending. Your face floods with heat as he braces his arm on the wall above your head. He smells good, too good. Familiar?
“Prefer pussy m’self,” he says, “but most animals love me. Bet I could win you both over.”
You make an audible “agh!” noise, embarrassed by the crassness.
“Who says that?!” you protest.
He keeps talking, like you’ve said nothing at all.
“Promise I’d get your kitty purrin’ nice and loud if I pet ‘er,” he says, voice low and rough. “Play with ‘er all sweet like. Might even give ‘er a little kiss…”
The alcohol and having your friends nearby makes you brave.
“Not on your life.”
Again, he chuckles, fingers of his other hand skimming your side.
“Never say never, hen.”
You bite back a telling gasp. God it’s been way too long if you’re getting keyed up by this creep barely touching you.
It’s only because he’s sinfully hot and your pussy is a shallow bitch, you tell yourself.
“My friends are missing me,” you say, trying to extricate yourself.
He hums, steps closer before you can wriggle away, nearly pancaking you to the wall.
“I’m missing you.”
“You don’t know me enough to miss me,” you snort and push against his chest. He’s thick. Firm with conditioned muscle, broader than you realized in the dim - nearly dark - hall by the bathroom. If he didn’t want to move, you couldn’t make him.
But he finally relents, sidling a step back.
“Give me a chance to? Here.”
You don’t know where he gets a pen from, and he moves far too fast for you to stop before he’s tugging your shirt aside. You don’t know where he got a marker from but you feel the rough drag of it across your collarbone, the sting of it in your nose.
“Call me sometime and I’ll make good on my offer.”
He caps the pen, drops a kiss on your cheek like it’s his right, and swagger off - presumably to the restroom.
You scurry back your table, careful to hide whatever he wrote on your skin. It feels like it burns for the rest of the night until you get home.
Johnny greets you at the door with a huge canine smile. Again, focusing on all the spots where soap touched you. Unlike his usual reaction to the scent of unfamiliar men lingering on you, Johnny’s tail wags. You huff.
“Don’t you dare prove him right,” you huff, sidestepping your overgrown teddy bear to go to the bathroom. Your tug your shirt aside and stare at the phone number scrawled across your skin. There’s even a cheeky little heart at the end.
Johnny’s followed you, per usual, and you meet his eyes seriously.
“I know I told you that you’re only allowed to bite my ex….. but I might make an exception for a little nip.”
Johnny tilts his head as you begin stripping down, grumbling under your breath.
“Men like him shouldn’t be allowed to know how attractive they are. It’s fucking criminal.”
You start up the shower, about to step in, only for Johnny to start whining and crying. So loud and raucous that you almost think he’s been injured somehow. But no, he just staring up at you mournfully, ears back and tail down.
“Big baby,” you mock-scold, “what’s the matter, huh? You need me to keep you company while you potty?”
Johnny just keeps whining and crying so you roll your eyes and climb in, ignoring how he goes up in pitch. You scrub at the phone number aggressively, but even then the permanent marker has soaked into your skin and left a stain.
“Mother fucker…” you can barely hear yourself over Johnny. You finish up and whip the curtain open, hands on your hips. It must startle him because he pauses to stare.
“It’s a lot, bud. A lot,” you scold. “Too much, even.”
He subsides with one last grumble and seems to sulk for the rest of the night. Won’t even let himself be bribed with a treat. When you climb into bed with him, he faces away from you (even though he’s still plastered to your side).
“So dramatic,” you sigh affectionately, burying your face in his coat. He smells like pine. “It’s okay, though, big guy. You’re still the only one for me.”
In the morning, you find Soap’s number scrawled on a sticky note. Huh, you must have been a little tipsier than you thought.

“Why bother telling you when I could just show you?”
Your fingers seemed to lose their grip on the plate, clattering into the sink loudly.
What? He did not just say that.
You turned to gawk at Seonghwa before stuttering, “H-Huh?”
He was nonplussed as he met your eyes, repeating, “I could just prove you wrong. Actions speak louder than words, no?”
Was he fucking serious? Seonghwa offering to show you how he could make you squirt?
“Hwa, you…you’re joking, right?”
“I’m not.”
Judging by the look on his face, he really wasn’t.
Feeling a heat begin to creep up the back of your neck, you tore your gaze away to grab the plate, picking it up and checking to see if it suffered any damage from your slip-up.
“Come on, be for real right now. I can’t do that.”
“You can’t let me touch you or you can’t squirt?”
You almost threw the abused dish back down as your head whipped up to fix him a flustered glare.
“Both! One, we’re friends. Two, I’ve never squirted and I never will.”
Seonghwa gave you an equally stern look, firing back, “We’re both single and it would just be between the two of us. And have you ever even tried?”
“N-No, but—”
“So how would you know?”
You pursed your lips, feeling a wave of frustration mixed with defeat overcoming you. He had a point. He could probably tell by the look on your face that you knew this, yet he didn’t gloat or prod you further. Seonghwa just kept watching you and waiting for your next defense to come out. But it didn’t come for a while as your mind raced with thoughts, coming up with one that threw you off-guard.
Would it really be so bad to say yes?
“There’s still a chance for you to back out, Y/N. It’s your call.”
Seonghwa’s body language was pretty clear in what answer he really wanted to hear. The way he continuously brushed his thumb over your knuckles and looked deep into your eyes let you know how much he was looking forward to this experience.
And yet he still gave you full control over it.
A grateful smile couldn’t help but stretch over your lips as you completely made up your mind. Your palm turned over to still his wandering thumb, scooting closer until your knee touched his own.
Leaning in, you whispered into his ear, “Show me what you can do.”

hi! I've honestly been craving some qpr headcanons with Alastor as someone who's also aroace! The concept piques my curiosity so much considering most of the stuff with him is purely romantic (no offense to those writers, I just wanna see more qpr stuff! :])
Of course! But do forgive me, annon, I got so carried away with this 😅. I just really like Alastor a lot.
I ended up writing some backstory to your relationship first, but I highlighted the start of the proper qpr headcanons if you feel like skipping that.
Obligatory I'm sorry if this is ooc, I'm still getting used to writing about these characters. This is also all based on my own perception of him.
(Also, I am aware that qprs are very different from one another and there is no single mold for a qpr, I'm just going off of what I think it would be like with Alastor.)
Uhh, I also finished this at 1 AM, so forgive any mistakes. And I'm pretty sure I changed the verb conjugations(? Is this how you say that in English?) from present to past at some point. Sorry. Enough with the A/Ns now. Hope you enjoy!
Alastor queerplatonic relationship headcanons
(gender neutral reader, Alastor x reader)
‼️Trigger-warning‼️: mentions of cannibalism (not graphic), a single mention of tongue-kissing and making out (spoiler: he doesn't want either of those things in this work.) Usage of the word queer, but not as a slur. Alastor is a grandpa and you have to explain LGBTQ+ stuff to him, but he gets it.
› At first, before you were close, it's likely that he didn't see you as an equal.
› Truly, in his eyes, it seems not really is his equal. He is the most powerful overlord in hell and he knows it.
› Unless you are someone he holds in high regard (and this is mostly based on vibes, barely anything to do with power, as we can see by how he is with Lucifer of all people) before your first meeting, like Zestial, you won't be on equal footing at first.
› You only really start getting close when his perception of you shifts.
› You respect his boundaries, you are interesting, you and him share quite a few interests (or not really, but you're at least interested in hearing about his), and you're, surprisingly, pretty wise and mature.
› And caring. I personally believe he would be drawn to that in a way that he may not even understand fully- or realize it at all.
› Still, the point is. He respects you, and you respect him.
› (And not in the way some others do, where they're only "respectful" out of fear. You would act like this regardless of his power.)
› This, by the way, is important. You don't treat him like a superior, but as an equal.
› You'd think someone like him would love to be treated like a superior, and it's true. He very much does.
› But he has to admit to himself that it does feel nice whenever someone isn't shaking in their boots and can hold really good conversations with him while still not being pushy, annoying or just generally disrespectful.
› Anyways.
› Ever since you became friends (which took long), one could say, you just kept becoming closer and closer.
› You were the first one to be vulnerable with him, of course. It happened on accident, but you trusted him enough for that.
› You were also the first one to share any more intimate information with him. Something you wouldn't tell just anyone.
› Between this, your conversations, and maybe even helping each other around (honestly, he probably helps you more than you do him, but you always offer it and always in a sweet way, never condescending, and he appreciates that.)
› He eventually felt more comfortable sharing personal things with you too.
› (He may have distanced himself a bit when he realized this, but it was short-lived. You can't be without each other for so long, and you were pretty upset at his suddenly withdrawal. You may not have mentioned it to him, but he could tell, and as much as he hated to admit it, it hurt him to see you sad because of him.)
› This marks the beginning of the path toward your queerplatonic relationship.
› I mean, you didn't initially label it as such, but it definitely started there.
› Surprisingly, I feel like the first one to ever do any sort of affectionate gesture towards the other was him.
› You knew he didn't like to be touched, so you didn't.
› But! He just started getting more and more comfortable with touching you. At first it was hands on your shoulders, or putting his arm over them.
› I can even see a head pat or two, which he probably passed off as some sort of joke the first few times, but, if you liked them so much, just became a thing he does to you.
› And then one day you, completely absent-mindedly, intertwined your arm with his while walking around.
› When you noticed you had done it and he hadn't said anything, you questioned him about it.
› "Alastor, I'm sorry I didn't ask... is this alright?"
› "This?... Oh, you mean the arms? Ah, dear, don't worry, if it weren't I would have simply told you so!"
› From them on you only got more and more physically affectionate with each other. At first you would usually be the one to start it, but eventually you were both shockingly equal in doing so.
› (You still would always ask if you could touch him beforehand, but after a while he just gave you a free-pass.)
› Not a lot in public, though. Mostly just hand holding, or intertwining arms (if in public, that is.)
› Alastor also was so protective of you. You were the person he treasured most, after all.
› Well, demon.
› Even if you told him you were going to be okay, he would watch out nonetheless. He couldn't afford to lose you, not when he's never trusted and cared for a person this much.
› You two also cuddle a lot. You were the first one to ask, as usual, but now both of you feel weird sleeping alone.
› Alastor loves being the big spoon, if you're doing that.
› But he is also quite fond of occasionally being the little spoon, although he wouldn't be caught dead admitting it.
› A hobby you two do together is cooking. Cooking with Alastor is fun... especially if you're okay with cannibalism.
› But if you don't like that, he won't insist, of course.
› He's pretty good at cooking, though! If you're also good at it, then great. If not, he'll tease you about it (in a friendly way), but still teach you.
› On teasing, he teases you quite a bit, but never in a mean way. If you don't mind, of course.
› You also may tease him occasionally, but he doesn't appreciate you teasing him in public.
› The two of you also have a good amount of inside jokes that probably confuse the hell out of the others.
› Kissing... well. I don't really see Alastor as the type who would enjoy kissing on the lips too much.
› Tongue is out of question for him, as well as any sort of making out, but otherwise... if you like it, he can do that for you.
› He might actually like a peck or two. An acquired taste for him. Don't overdo it, though.
› Of course, him being from the 1930s and not very familiar with anything LGBTQ+ related, he would, at first, be somewhat confused by the request.
› You would probably have to explain to him that nothing is inherently romantic, especially not if you don't want it to be.
› "A kiss on the lips? Well... we aren't courting, Y/n."
› "We can put our own meanings to things, though. Would you like this kiss to be romantic?"
› "Definitely not!"
› "Well, me neither. So it's not!"
› "... That is very sound logic! I can't believe I've never thought of this myself."
› Kisses on the rest of the face are something else, though. He does enjoy it whenever you kiss him on the cheek. He himself might occasionally kiss you on the forehead.
› But overall I don't think he's big on kissing.
› If you want to really solidify that you're in a queerplatonic relationship you'd also have to explain what that means to him, sorry.
› Again, he's old and not up to date with things.
› Thankfully he understands things easily.
› "I see... I suppose we do have quite the queer relationship, don't we? And it is certainly platonic. I don't see why not!"
› Going back to vulnerability. It will never feel fully natural for him to just be vulnerable with you — or anyone else, for the matter.
› (In case you couldn't tell, he's using the word queer as meaning odd (and doing a little pun. You know. Because it's a. Queerplatonic relationship. Queer. Hehehehe), as it defies the norm of what a platonic relationship usually looks like, despite being one.)
› But you know him well enough at this point to recognize whenever there's something going on with him.
› And if you show concern and give him enough time he will share whatever it is with you.
› If it's not anything too big he might even reach out to you first.
› He can also read you like a book and gives surprisingly good advice, and is also pretty good at comforting you.
› You are the only person allowed at his studio while he's live on the radio. You usually read as he speaks in the background, his voice is very relaxing. He enjoys having you around.
› He's also particularly gentlemanly to you, more than to the others. When you're with him you never have to open a single door yourself, for one. If it's raining, he'll hold the umbrella for the two of you. When walking together on the sidewalk, he's always on the side closest to the street instead of you.
› You two often go out for dinner. If you also fancy some cannibalism, he will definitely show you his favorite restaurants around. If not he will just pick the best non-cannibal places (but you know those are not his favorites, haha.)
› He just cares about you a lot, even if it took him long to admit (it may have seemed fast-paced during this, but Alastor is someone who really takes long to get close to.)
› And you care about him lot too!
› (And you're probably never going to be in a life-threatening situation again, at least not at the hands of most demons. Who would ever want trouble with Alastor?)

part 0.20. EPILOGUE
"you deserve a good life i hope we stay together i want this to last forever"
from a good life by eyedress, left in okayama, japan
CONTENT WARNING: a little suggestive :)
her breathing slows the moment she sees him.
he’s pushing his way past a group of men, lines forming at the corners of his hooded eyes as he gives them a smile and nod before he's making his way towards her again.
he looks a little funny in his formal wear. she knows he hates it, and has probably been tugging at his stuffy collar all day. but it’s the same collar she grabs when he’s close enough, pulling him down to her level and crashing her lips against his.
his hands immediately find their way onto her body, roaming maybe a little more than they should in a room full of important people and coworkers, but that’s never mattered much to them. they’re acting like they haven’t seen each other in months, when in reality they woke up in the same bed this morning, legs entangled and hands intertwined even in their sleep.
“took you long enough,” she teases. she’s holding him close, her hand still fisted around his collar and she’s looking up into his eyes as he stares back down at her, a stupid grin on his face.
“i made it and i found you, didn’t i? that’s all that matters,” he shrugs before he looks behind her, standing back up straight as his face drops.
she turns her head to see what he’s looking at and smiles sheepishly when she makes eye contact with her best friend, his face covered by a mask as he looks at them in disgust. “in the middle of an entire crowd? really?” he says in disbelief, shaking his head as he walks closer and she removes her hand from rintaro.
neither of them have an excuse, so they only apologize to him in unison before he sighs.
“should we go find osamu?” rintaro asks now that the three of them are together.
she nods, walking forward and taking lead of the group as they start to push through the crowds again, “he should be ready by now. or we’ll just bother him if he’s not.”
she waves to the people she knows and smiles at the ones she’s only seen in passing, trying to be polite. her status in the place has come in equal parts from her job and relationship with rintaro. in her last year of college, she'd decided to look into jobs within the sports industry. pulling in favors from old contacts, she had landed a job in publicity and taking photos of sporting events, along with akaashi. under kuroo’s management, they both followed multiple volleyball games. she tried her best to stay with rintaro’s team and akaashi often stayed with bokuto’s team.
when she had the time, she’d pick up a few portrait requests to keep things from getting mundane, although that was impossible anyway with rintaro in her life. they were nearly inseparable; you could always find them at each other's side. even as they tried to navigate through the party they were at now, he eventually caught up to her, wrapping an arm around her waist to keep them from getting separated while omi followed behind them.
they’d get stopped by old faces she hadn’t seen in years and new faces she’d never seen, but that rintaro apparently knew. he’d introduce her as her wife, and sometimes the name still got to her. she’d feel her ears burn as he reached down to hold her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze and rub his thumb across the wedding ring adorning her finger–a habit he had picked up and would likely never get rid of.
really, he’d been by her side for longer than just in these past few years. she’d been at his side since they were high schoolers, through the small lunch boxes she made for the four boys she had known closest then, and he was by her side through all of college. he was by her side watching her develop photos, listening to the stories behind them, and her stressors. then, they had been by each other sides officially the moment they had put that heart lock on that fence; a mark that would last longer than the both of them, even into their next life, where they’d find each other once more and fall in love with each other all over again.

dinosaurs and bears 🦕
childhood crush! anton x fem! reader
genre: fluff, slightly suggestive
series synopsis: anton lee was your first friend, eventually becoming your first love. and despite changing over the years in college, your heart still falters the same way it did when you were both kids.
intro | part one | part two | part three | part four (final!)
fourteen years ago.
growing up next door to the lee family meant that yours and anton’s lives would be unavoidably intertwined. anton still remembers the first time he met you. you were both still kids, you being a mere seven year old while anton was a year older. your parents had brought you over to the lee’s house to catch up, and they thought you were finally old enough to have play dates with the quiet and introverted boy next door.
anton’s parents had thought their son was closed off. a bit too closed off. he was soft spoken and seemed to always be in his own world, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, they just thought it would be good for you and him to develop a friendship. you and anton weren’t that different, with you being an equally closed off child who didn’t talk to people as much as to your plushies. during your first meeting, you held onto your teddy bear tightly whilst hiding behind your parent’s legs. your teddy bear, mr. fuzzles, which was white and adorned with a small pink bow tie on its neck was the single most precious thing to six year old you, you never left the house without it. similarly, anton held onto a blue brachiosaurous plushie. both of your parents waited to see which one of you would initiate the conversation, but alas, neither of you had the courage to utter a word to the other.
you didn’t care much at the boy standing opposite of you, rather, you cared more about the plushie in his hands. your eyes zeroed onto the blue dinosaur plushie he held onto and without saying a word, you stepped closer to anton and grabbed his precious childhood toy. anton, your parents, and his parents all let out a gasp. really? i let brachio get taken by a seven year old in pigtails? anton thought to himself, but he was still too shy to say anything— telling himself that you were just a little kid and he should be the bigger person and not snatch what was his back. before your parents could give you an earful, you pushed your teddy bear towards anton’s chest, still not saying a word but maintaining eye contact with the boy now. your parents let out a cohesive aww as they urged anton to show you more of his dinosaur collection— books, plushies, and figurines. the older boy nodded and gave you a soft smile before bringing you into his study and pulling out a heavy hardcover book. encyclopaedia of dinosaurs. truth be told, you couldn’t care less about dinosaurs, you simply just wanted to play with anton’s brachio. but the way the older talked about the history dinosaurs and the way his soft voice became more excited and expressive convinced you to listen to him go on until it was time to go. anton had never been able to drone on and on about his special interest to anyone without them finding it boring, but your little nods and mhms made him feel heard for once— even though your tiny brain could barely digest anything he was saying
before leaving that day, anton tried to give you mr. fuzzles back but you shook your head, hugging brachio to your chest. “yours now.” before getting to know you, anton would have gotten upset and probably complain to his parents about you but after the day of getting to know you, he felt okay to part with his beloved plushie knowing that you gave him yours, symbolising the blossoming friendship between you two.
a/n: this is a reupload btw… wanted 2 change up sum stuff!!!

ੈ♡˳·˖✶ — NANAMI x FEM READER
Gojo sets you up with your future husband in the middle of English class.
wc — 700
tags — Gojo’s annoying ass, stay at home husband Nanami, title from manga of the same name
“Honey, I’m home,” you call.
Immediately, Nanami comes to the door clad in his pastel yellow apron with little ducks. It matches his hair and complements his pink dish gloves perfectly.
“I’d hug you but I’m a little dirty at the moment,” he says.
“Who cares?” You wrap your arms around him to his spluttered protests.
When he falls suspiciously silent, you look up to see what’s wrong. You follow his soft gaze to the ring on your finger, your arms still looped around his neck.
“You know I hate owing Gojo anything, but I really am grateful for this one,” he says, leaning down to kiss your cheek.
It is thanks to Gojo that you got married, after all.
In high school, Gojo Satoru was a menace who loves meddling in your love life. He treated you like a little sister, which meant he was also comfortable doing whatever he wanted to you without consequence.
You should’ve known better than to trust him, but he piques your interest when he asks, “Hey, you know Nanami from our econ class?”
“I do not dream of labor Nanami?” You ask.
“All jobs are shitty, this is just slightly less shitty Nanami?” Chimes in Yuki across the table.
“Even when I’m asleep the only thing I think about is money Nanami?” From your side, even Utahime is interested in the conversation, a rarer occasion than a eclipse.
“That’s the one!” Gojo beckons you closer. Of course, you stay right where you are, because you don’t trust him. He crooks his fingers at you again, coaxing, “Come on, come on. Don’t you trust me?”
“Absolutely not.”
“Fine, have it your way,” he says, rolling his eyes. Then, at a volume completely unnecessary and loud enough for everyone within a five mile radius to hear, he all but yells, “You would like Nanami! I’m setting you two up.”
You would slap him, but he’s faster, catching your arm like he anticipated the blow. He probably did.
“Gojo, what the fuck?!” You hiss.
“Shhh, I’m doing you a favor! My two most boring friends, one ambitious, one indolent - you two are a match made in heaven.”
You squint at him. “Isn’t Nanami the top of our class? He works harder than anyone else, I don’t know what you’re saying.”
“Okay, but it’s not because he wants to. He hates working, he just wants to live comfortably. You see where I’m going with this?”
You really, really don’t.
“God, do I have to spell everything out for you? I really am a blessing to you poor-“
“Gojo.”
“Fine, whatever! Let’s do the math. You want to become a CEO or something, I wasn’t really paying attention when you told me about it. Nanami wants to be a live in housewife who’s only job is to cook, clean, and love his partner. One plus one equals two, he can be your housewife.”
“I can be what now?” You refuse to turn around, like if you can’t see him, he’ll go away eventually. He must’ve been summoned by Gojo’s annoyingly loud volume.
Gojo has no such shame. “Perfect, I don’t even have to go looking for you! I’ll leave you two to it. Use protection or actually don’t, so you can give me godchildren!”
He dodges your attempt at murder for the second time and skips off, humming to himself. You’re never speaking to him again, you resolve. Nanami’s presence looms at your back, stiff and uncomfortable. How do you break the ice?
“You…don’t have to be a househusband,” you offer. That is not the way you wanted to start your introduction, but for some reason your mouth won’t stop moving no matter how much you beg yourself to shut up. “We can be double income, if you want, but I’m sure I can make enough for both of us.”
You’re silently begging the ground to just swallow you up to escape your earthly torment when he laughs. It’s a pretty thing, not like bells or wind chimes as the books describe, but beautiful nonetheless.
He smiles down on you as he says, “I’m okay being a househusband if you’ll have me.”

A few things...
1. Choso
2. Server/Bartender
3. Mutual Pining
I work at a Brewery, and I have this little fantasy of Choso being a server/bartender, and it's driving me nuts. Pls help 🙏🏽
— Poured affections
⋆.˚ Pairing : bartender!Choso x reader Double perspective
⋆.˚ Warnings : slowburn, fluff, mutual pinning
⋆.˚ Synopsis : Synopsis: You are a regular at a local brewery, drawn to the quiet, awkward bartender, Choso. Unbeknownst to you, Choso is equally captivated by you but doubts you’d ever notice him. As you approach him for a drink, mutual pining and subtle tension build between you both, neither realizing the other feels the same. The story explores the quiet, unspoken connection between two people who think they’re out of each other’s reach.
⋆.˚ Sierra here! : TYSM FOR THIS REQUESTTT😚 I see you guys are enjoying bartender/coffee worker Choso and tbh I really cannot blame you guys fr😭 I had to search up what mutual pinning was and ask my friend LMAOOO 😭😭so I hope I got the right portrayal🙏, I hope you enjoy this anon😋!
It was a typical Friday night. The brewery was packed with people, and the noise of laughter, clinking glasses, and music filled the air. Choso stood behind the bar, hands busy mixing drinks, but his eyes? His eyes were drawn to you again. You were here almost every week, always with your friends, laughing and dancing without a care in the world. He tried to keep his focus on his job, but every time you moved, his attention would drift back to you. The way you moved across the floor, how your body swayed to the rhythm of the music—it was impossible to look away. Your dress hugged you in all the right places, and the way the dim lights highlighted your skin only made it worse for him. Every time you laughed, it sent a strange warmth through his chest, like he was hearing something he wasn’t supposed to.
Choso swallowed hard, trying to focus on the bottles in front of him, but even his hands were shaking. What would he even say if you came up to the bar tonight? It wasn’t like he could ever keep it together around you. The last time you had asked for a drink, you leaned forward and flashed you a teasing smile.
“A ginger ale, please, handsome,” you had said, and he’s nearly spilled the bottle all over the bar.
Handsome. You were still thinking about that word days later. “Did she say it casually? Did she even mean it? She probably called all the bartenders that, right?” He shook his head, trying to snap himself out of it. There was no way you meant anything by it. He was… just him. Awkward. Clumsy. Not someone a girl like you would be interested in.
He fumbled with another glass, eyes drifting back to you as you danced with your friends. You looked so confident, so effortlessly beautiful. He, on the other hand, couldn’t even get through a conversation with you without stumbling over his words. You probably didn’t even notice him beyond the drinks he served you. Why would you? He was just a bartender. Someone who watched you from afar, wishing for something that would never happen.
But despite knowing that, he couldn’t help but watch. Every time you laughed, every time your eyes sparkled under the dim lights, his heart did a little flip. And as much as he hated it, part of him hoped you’d come up to the bar again tonight, just to hear you say his name, even if it made him blush like an idiot. Even if it made his heart race in ways he couldn’t control.
And then, like fate was playing a cruel joke on him, you made your way toward the bar. His breath hitched. He quickly turned to busy himself with a stack of clean glasses, pretending he hadn’t been watching you the entire time. Maybe you wouldn’t notice how flustered he was. Maybe you wouldn’t realize how nervous you made him, just by looking in your direction.
But as you got closer, his hands trembled again. What was he even going to say? How was he supposed to act cool when you were this close, when the air between you was charged with something he didn’t understand but couldn’t ignore?
He just had to survive the next few minutes. That was it. Just a drink. Nothing more.
The brewery was alive, filled with the hum of conversations, laughter, and the pulse of music. You danced with your friends, swaying to the beat, but even in the midst of the crowd, your attention was elsewhere. Or, rather, on someone.
Choso.
He was always there, behind the bar, working quietly, head slightly lowered like he wanted to blend into the background. You couldn’t help but notice him every time you came here. His dark, brooding appearance drew you in, but it was his subtle awkwardness that kept you curious.
Even now, as you moved to the music, your gaze flickered over to him. Choso stood there, drying glasses, his eyes darting across the room. Every so often, you caught him watching you. Or at least, it seemed like he was. He never stared for long—just a quick glance before he busied himself again. It made your stomach flutter in a way you couldn’t explain.
You couldn’t help but wonder what went through his mind when he saw you, if he even thought much of it at all. Choso always seemed… distant, in a way. Not rude, just reserved, almost like he didn’t know how to engage with people the way the other bartenders did. And yet, there was something about him that made you want to try and figure him out.
As the night wore on, you found yourself dancing less, your feet tired, and your mind wandering back to him more often. The dress you wore clung to you, and you could feel eyes on you—probably Choso’s, though you couldn’t be sure.
Eventually, you gave in and made your way over to the bar. Your friends were still lost in the music, but you needed a break. Sliding onto one of the barstools, you rested your elbows on the counter, glancing up just as Choso turned around.
For a second, he looked startled. His eyes widened slightly, and you could see the faintest hint of color rising in his cheeks. It was almost funny how easily flustered he seemed to get when you were near.
“Hey, Choso right?” you said, offering him a small smile.
“Oh, uh yeah. Hey,” he replied, his voice soft as usual. His hands were still holding onto the glass he’d been drying, but now he seemed unsure of what to do with it.
You bit your lip, amused by his nervousness. He was so different from other guys—so awkward, but in a way that only made you want to talk to him more. “Can I get a ginger ale?” you asked, leaning forward slightly, your tone light.
You watched as his face turned a deeper shade of red. He nearly fumbled the glass, and you had to look away to stop yourself from laughing. He was just… adorable, in the most unexpected way.
“C-coming right up,” he mumbled, quickly turning to grab the bottle. His hands were shaking just a little, but he managed to pour the drink without spilling. When he set the glass in front of you, your fingers brushed for a brief second, and you saw him freeze, his eyes wide.
“Thanks,” you said, taking the drink from him and giving him another smile. His blush deepened, and he looked away quickly, like he didn’t know how to respond.
You sipped your ginger ale, watching him out of the corner of your eye as he busied himself with the bottles behind the counter. He was quieter than usual tonight, though that wasn’t saying much. Choso never talked much, at least not to you. You wondered if it was just because he didn’t know what to say—or if he didn’t really want to talk to you at all.
You sighed softly, twirling the straw in your drink. You weren’t great at reading people, but you liked to think that maybe Choso was just shy. He seemed like the type—awkward in social situations, not really sure how to handle attention. You could relate to that, in a way. You weren’t the most confident person when it came to this kind of thing either.
But still, you liked talking to him, even if he didn’t say much. There was something comforting about his quiet presence, something that made you want to keep coming back, even if it was just to sit at the bar and exchange a few words.
The night wore on, and your friends drifted away, leaving you alone at the bar. You watched as the crowd began to thin, the music quieting down as the night started to wind to a close. Choso was still working, wiping down the counter and cleaning glasses. He hadn’t spoken to you again since bringing your drink, but you could feel the tension between you, like there was something neither of you knew how to address.
You glanced at him from under your lashes, wondering if he ever thought about you after you left the bar. Did he even remember you from one visit to the next? It was hard to tell with him. He was so hard to read, so… distant. You weren’t sure if you were just a regular customer to him, or if maybe—just maybe—he noticed you in a way that went beyond polite service.
You took another sip of your drink, the cool liquid soothing your dry throat as you leaned forward a little, deciding to test the waters.
“So, do you always work Fridays?” you asked casually, breaking the silence.
Choso blinked, looking up from where he was polishing a glass. He stared at you for a second, like he was surprised you’d spoken to him again, before nodding slowly. “Yeah, most of the time,” he replied, his voice soft.
You nodded, twirling the straw between your fingers. “Must be busy,” you commented, glancing around at the thinning crowd. “You must see a lot of people come through here.”
“Yeah,” he said quietly, but you could tell he wasn’t really sure how to keep the conversation going.
You smiled a little, amused by his awkwardness. It wasn’t like you were expecting a deep conversation, but you couldn’t help but wonder if he was always this quiet, or if it was just you.
“I’ve been coming here a lot lately,” you said, your tone a little softer. “It’s a nice place.”
Choso hesitated for a moment before nodding again, his eyes flicking up to meet yours for just a second. His expression was hard to read, but there was something in the way he looked at you that made your heart skip a beat. You quickly looked down at your drink, your confidence wavering just a bit.
“Yeah, it’s… nice,” he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper.
You bit your lip, feeling a strange tension in the air. It wasn’t exactly uncomfortable, but it was heavy, like there was something unspoken between you. You couldn’t tell if it was just the awkwardness of the moment, or if maybe, deep down, you both felt the same uncertain pull.
But then again, it could just be your imagination.
You smiled softly at him, trying to give him some reassurance, even if you didn't know what would happen next. "Well, I guess I'll keep coming back then," you teased lightly.
Choso blinked, his cheeks still pink, but this time, he didn't look away. His eyes met yours, and for a moment, it felt like the air between you shifted —like maybe, just maybe, you weren't the only one feeling this way.
Choso blinked, looking a little startled, but this time, he didn’t look away. His eyes met yours, and for a brief moment, it felt like the space between you shrank, like something shifted in the air. But just as quickly as it came, the moment passed, and he went back to drying glasses, leaving you sitting there with your drink, wondering if you’d ever be able to figure him out.
Your heart skipped a beat at that. Maybe he did notice you. Maybe this was something, even if he didn't realize it. But just as quickly as the thought came, doubt crept in. What if he was just being polite? What if he didn't see you the same way you saw him?
Still, you couldn't help but hope. Maybe, just maybe, he was thinking the same thing as you-that there was something between you, even if neither of you had the courage to admit it.

hii i love your work sm! do you think you do back to december by taylor swift ethan x reader?
back to december — ethan landry
word count: 1,876
pairing: ethan landry x fem!reader
summary: after insecurities got the best of her, y/n breaks up with ethan. a few months later, she goes to his dorm to say sorry for that night.
warnings: angst, mentions of toxic relationship, insecurities.
Y/N KNEW SHE HAD PROBABLY MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HER LIFE BY BREAKING UP WITH ETHAN, but at the same time she knew it was probably the best thing for him. The ghost of her past relationship never quite stopped haunting her—do the wounds of a toxic relationship ever fully heal? Y/N was starting to believe they did, until she bumped into him, and the fears crept back into her mind after that.
Do you really think he loves you?
He only wants you for your looks, but he’ll eventually get tired of you, like I did, because you have nothing else to offer.
Smart boys like Ethan Landry end up with equally-smart girls, Y/N. You’re just a good fuck for him, a doll to have on his arm.
It’s not going to last, he’s going to break up with you. He’s too good for you, you know that, right?
Those were the words that he had said and Y/N couldn’t erase from her mind. Those were the words that led her to leave her only source of happiness, the only boy she had ever truly loved. Ethan was better off without her, he was too amazing and sweet to have to deal with her and her insecurities and demons.
But if it was for the best, why did it feel so wrong? She hadn’t been able to sleep ever since. She stayed up late and played the scene of her leaving the commodity of his arms.
The worst day after the break-up had been the one of his birthday. Many were the times she had opened his contact, her finger floating around the ‘call’ button, but she didn’t dare to do it. And then, she saw their friends’ Instagram stories and she broke down. They were throwing him a party, and Ethan looked so beautiful yet so sad, and she knew that was on her. It was wishful thinking, probably mindless dreaming, but she wondered if one of the birthday wishes involved her.
She missed him so much, the pain wouldn’t leave her chest. She missed watching him laugh from the passenger side when they made their way to college, she missed his long fingers wrapped around hers, his big brown eyes that were like magnets, and she really missed those lips she used to call home.
It had been three months since she left him standing in his living room, with a crestfallen expression and without letting him fight for their relationship. Y/N knew that if she had let him talk, she wouldn’t have been able to walk away, so she ran before that could happen.
A few weeks after that, she got into therapy, thing she should’ve done since she stepped out of her toxic relationship, and was finally able to see she had messed up. She should’ve never walked away without telling him everything first, she forgot the most important thing in a relationship is communication. She had let herself get scared by the ghost of her past and hurt a person that had done nothing but give her roses, and in exchanged she had left them there to die.
Y/N had decided it was time to swallow her pride, take her feet towards Ethan’s dorm and say sorry for that awful night. Not only for him, because that’s what he deserved, but also for her. Because there hadn’t been a day in which she hadn’t gone back to December, wishing she could go back in time and change it. She couldn’t do that, but she could still make things right.
So building up courage, she knocked on his door. Heart beating faster as she listened the sound of footsteps getting closer to her.
Ethan cursed when he heard the knock. Dragging his feet across the living room, he scolded Chad on his mind. His roommate had the habit of forgetting his key and it really annoyed Ethan. Though when he swung the door open, he froze in his place as he came face to face with the girl who lived free-rent on his mind. Even if she had ran away after the three words left his mouth, he couldn’t help missing her.
That rainy december night, in that very same apartment, Ethan had told Y/N he loved her. It was something he had been dying to get off his chest. He hadn’t expect her to say it back—he would’ve understood if she wasn’t ready, but he definitely hadn’t expected her to walk out of that door without uttering a word. He had given her his heart and she had dropped it, breaking it into a million pieces like shattered glass.
“Hi.” she broke the heavy silence.
“What are you doing here?” he asked in a cold voice. Ethan stood firmly on the door, furrowing his eyebrows.
“I wanted to talk to you.” she said softly, and then, disguising the pain it caused her, though not doing a great job at it, she added, “I texted you, but you either changed your number or you blocked me.”
Guiltiness filled his chest, but then he shook it off—she left him, not the other way around. He shouldn’t feel guilty. Of course he blocked her, and then deleted her number to avoid giving into the need to call her and beg for an explanation. “Um, yeah. Look, if it’s about that night, it’s okay. I’m over it, we don’t need to talk about it. Let’s just move on, on our own way.”
I’m over it… those words were like a slap to her face. Did he really move on? Had the love he felt for her turn into ashes? Fighting the urge to cry, she pleaded, “I can’t move on if I don’t explain what happened. I understand if you don’t want to see me right now, I can wait. I just… I really need to tell you what was going on in my mind. I still live in the same apartment, so, if you decide you want to hear my version… you know where to find me. No pressure.” she gave him a tiny smile and turned around, ready to walk away.
Ethan heard the sound of his own voice say “Wait.”, making her turn around with hopeful eyes, and Ethan just gave in. Her eyes were still his greatest weakness, just as his eyes were hers. “Come in.”
The two ex-lovers sat awkwardly on the very same couch they had been laying on that night. "So, how's life? How's your family? Haven't seen them in a while." she said, meaning to clear the mood.
"Good, we are good. Busier than ever. Did you come from work?" his tone was a polite one, but it didn't hold the softness Y/N had been accustomed to. It was very clear that his guard was up, and Y/N knew exactly why—he hadn't moved on like he tried to make her believe a couple of minutes ago, he was still hurt and confused. The last time he saw her still burned in the back of his mind, and that's why she needed to explain everything.
"Yeah." she answered before sighing. "I know this is uncomfortable for you, so I should just get it off the desk. I'm sorry, Eth. I'm sorry for that night. I'm sorry I didn't come sooner, I'm sorry I ever left."
The walls broke down after the situation was addressed, and Ethan finally showed how he really felt—his eyes got glossy and he looked her in the eyes, the desperation painted on his face. "Why did you do it? I told you I loved you for the first time, and you just left me. I don't understand. Did I scare you? Was it too soon for you? I'm sorry if I overwhelmed you, I just wished you would've talked to me instead of disappearing."
"God, no. Stop. Why would you apologize? You did nothing wrong." she assured him, resting her hand on top of his. "It wasn't too soon, and I didn't leave because I didn't love you. I did. I've known it since the fall."
"Fall? But we started dating during the fall." he said confused. Y/N blushed and shrugged—yes, she had fallen in love with him quickly and hard, but it was inevitable. Ethan was the most amazing guy she'd ever known. "If you'd known it since then, what happened? Why didn't you say it back?"
"That morning I bumped into my ex." Y/N confessed.
Ethan furrowed his eyes and his jaw clenched. Nothing good could've come out of that encounter. He remember the way she sobbed on his chest as he held her in his arms that September night; how, in between hiccups, she told him the manipulation and abuse her ex had put her through. And now, everything clicked: why Y/N had looked so shaken up when they met that day, why she looked so off. "What did that asshole say?"
Y/N repeated every exact word. Words that had worked as salt on a wound that had never quite closed. "I really thought I had moved on from all that hurt, but it took just a few words from him to tear all my confidence and progress down. After I broke up with you, my mom sent my this therapist's number... and now I’m finally okay."
Ethan was never a violent person, but now, he wanted nothing more than to find that piece of shit and cut his tongue so he can never speak like that to someone again, especially not to his girl. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. I should've asked you what was wrong."
"You did, Eth. And I brushed you off." she smiled weakly. "I should have told you. I was just so scared, and I really believed he was right. I'm so sorry, Eth. I'm sorry for hurting you."
"It's okay. I understand now. You didn't deserve to go through the hell that asshole put you in. I'm glad you got help and moved on from that."
"Me too. I just... I just wish it hadn't been at the expense of your feelings." her voice got weak, and Ethan didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her.
"I know, but you are okay now, and you came here to explain everything." he assured her, pressing her close to his chest. "I missed you."
"I missed you too, you have no idea. I have been replaying that moment since December, I wish I could change what happened."
"Stop punishing yourself, love. It's done, it's in the past. You are here now, we are here now. That is all that matters."
"I love you, Ethan. I loved you then, and I still love you now. And... I get if you aren't ready for this but I want to try again. I swear I'll love you right, just like you deserve."
"I've been dreaming of this moment for months, love." he said softly and sweetly, eyes shining like fireworks. "Yes, I want to try again. I love you."
"Really?"
"Yes, really" he said, leaning down to let their lips connect. And as always, they were like two pieces that belonged together, two pieces that should've never been apart. "I loved you then, and I still love you now."

Found this concept art of Kay, Nix and ND-5 on twitter. Sadly I don't think this scene made it into the game (unless it's part of a side quest I haven’t done yet, though it could be part of one of the DLCs) or maybe they changed it to the cantina meeting after the clam job.
Anyway, I love the concept art a lot, and not just because of how ND lets Nix climb him like a mountain goat (not that he could do anything to stop the little critter), and now all I think about is Kay and ND going on a stake-out or waiting for a contact in the cantina, but that person is late or doesn't show up at all, and before they know it, the stake-out turns into something almost like a first date without either realizing it (because they're mutual dumbasses in this scenario).
ND would be irritated and annoyed when Kay starts to ask him all those unnecessary questions about him again instead of focusing on the job and only answer begudgingly and ask her questions in return to get back at her at first, but then his curiosity would be piqued with every further question and he would start to ask genuine questions, like how he asked about her family and future plans in the game.
He would start to take note of more little details about her, like what's her favorite drink or her favorite song playing in the cantina and how her laughter sounds when he says something unintentionally funny. And despite all of these informations being basically useless for their job, he would keep them in his ever expanding Kay Vess folder for closer examination. Most of all he would notice how Kay would treat him like an equal and a real person the whole evening and how nice that feels and how different it is from the way Jaylen treated him, who always called him "old friend" but never let him forget his place.
And Kay would be surprised again at how easily she falls into this trustworthy and comfortable dynamic with ND and how much she opens up to him like she hasn’t done with anyone else in a long time. She would ask him about all the exotic places he's been again (because she’s hardly been anywhere) and all the adventures he's had and remember she still needed to show him that spectacular sand waterfall she wanted to show him in the game (I also really liked the little scene where they talked about the oceans on Tatooine with them sounding both so wonderous so I really think that’s a fascination they share). And when she instinctively touches his hand or accidentally bumps a leg against his under the table, she would awkwardly blush and get tongue-tight for no reason because he’s just a droid and probably doesn't care, but she still feels this odd spark.
Oh yes, I have given this wayyy too much thought 🤔

Pairing: Hwang Hyunjin x Reader (fem)
Genre: romance, angst, fluff, smut; mafia!AU, strangers-to-lovers, 18+
Word Count: 4.5k
Warnings: swearing, mentions of violence, mentions of blood; explicit sexual content, unprotected sex (seriously guys - don’t do what they do here, in terms of protection or consent), loss of virginity (graphic)
Author’s Note: Hello everyone! I’ve been gone for a really long time, I know - but I’m finally making my way back to this blog and to writing again. I have a few fics in the pipeline, but here’s my first new release! It’s a very different style/genre/length from what I’ve posted here before; it’s a bit darker in tone and less fluffy (all’s well that ends well though lol) - so feedback and thoughts are extra extra appreciated!
Summary: Sheer good looks aside though…you’d seen his face on the news. What was his name? You remembered that it was something elegant, soft on the lips - a name that didn’t seem to fit the cruel, hardened mafioso it belonged to.
It was only when those cold icy eyes locked with yours, gaze chilling even from all the way across the bar, that it finally came to mind.
Hwang Hyunjin.
You looked pathetic, you supposed.
Sitting painfully alone, ignored in the midst of this packed club, idly stirring a drink you hadn’t taken a sip of, hadn’t even wanted in the first place. Your so-called date had foisted it on you…before he realized that plying you with alcohol wasn’t going to affect his chances of getting any either way, and quickly left to try his luck elsewhere.
And it was just as well. You really weren’t cut out for this type of stuff. You’d never been, honestly - you’d gone to a few parties in college, gone on even fewer dates, and done nothing that ended up with you going home with someone. Your roommate had finally had enough though, and that’s how you’d ended up here.
“Go have some fun for once,” she’d said. “You need to lose that V-card before your tits start sagging, love.” And before you could even think of an adequately snippy response, she’d thrown a phone number at you - a friend of a friend of a friend, supposedly - and sashayed out of your room, hollering behind her that she’d be out all night, so you could bring anyone you wanted home with impunity.
You’d snorted, shaking your head. You? Bringing someone home? With your dating skills and general luck, you were probably gonna bring home a serial killer - if you even managed to hit it off with anyone in the first place.
Still, you’d let her squeeze you into a pretty pink bandage dress and ridiculously high heels and send you on your way...just for it to go exactly as you’d thought it would.
With a sigh, you pushed yourself off your seat, attempting to wade your way back to the bar. You could do with a tall glass of water - and maybe something a little stronger, something that you actually liked - before retreating back to the sanctuary of your own four walls and soft bed.
Even in the hazy lighting of the club, punctuated only by disorienting strobes, it was obvious that there was something strange going at the bar. The sweaty, suffocating cluster of humans on the dance floor came to an abrupt end, with no one occupying the empty space right next to them. This section of the bar was jarringly, eerily empty, seats and counter all open - except for four men, lounging about like they owned the place.
You knew better - you really did. But still - you found yourself pushing closer and closer, straight to the outskirts of the crowd, until you could get a clear view. Three of them were turned away from you, leaving you nothing to see other than broad shoulders and backs, straining against tight leather jackets. As for the fourth, however…
The first thing to catch your eye, unique and beautiful, even in the dim lighting, was a gorgeous black and blue tattoo, winding its way around the neck of its equally striking owner. Sheer good looks aside though…you’d seen his face on the news. What was his name? You remembered that it was something elegant, soft on the lips - a name that didn’t seem to fit the cruel, hardened mafioso it belonged to.
It was only when those cold, icy eyes locked with yours, gaze chilling even from all the way across the bar, that it finally came to mind.
Hwang Hyunjin.
You knew you should probably stop. Men like that hurt people for just glancing at them the wrong way - and here you were, having a staring match with the most ruthless of them all.
And that’s how you found yourself in the alley behind the club, pinned against the rough brick wall - with Hyunjin pressed between your legs. He was everywhere - his lips ravishing yours with hot, predatory kisses; one hand hungrily palming your breasts, the other hiking up your dress, trailing along your sodden panties. He moaned a curse against your lips as he felt just how wet you were for him.
“You’re ruining me,” he groaned, hand hastily dragging away from your chest to wind around your waist, pulling your lower half against his firmly. “Tell me what you want, angel,” he murmured before breaking off into a hiss, clutching at you as your hips bucked against his.
“More,” you moaned. Your untouched, unexperienced self was overwhelmed by this man. You were stone-cold sober, your drink abandoned untouched back at the bar, but you were positively high off him, addicted to the way he was making you feel. “Whatever you want to do to me - just more.”
He laughed, pressing a surprisingly tender kiss to the side of your head. “You’re gonna regret that.” And he immediately made to deliver on his promise. You gasped as he flicked the embarrassingly large wet spot marring your panties, nail dragging tortuously against your clit, before drawing aside the gusset, running his fingers through your wet folds.
You couldn’t help but whimper. “Please.”
“Begging now, huh?” He barked out a laugh, but seemed ready to comply. As he dove in for a messy, passionate, soul-consuming kiss, long fingers of one hand still working your clit, you faintly heard the metallic clink of his belt buckle, the rustle of his clothing, the small sigh of relief he let out against your lips as he freed his cock from its confines.
“Last chance, angel,” he groaned out, head falling back in pleasure as his hard, hot length slid against your folds. “I’m not gonna hold back after this.”
“I still want it - want you,” you whispered back. “I can take it.”
Those plush lips curved into a wicked, almost malicious smirk. “Good.” And with no further ado, he slammed himself home deep in your cunt.
A soft cry of pain escaped your lips. It stung - but within a second, past the initial resistance, the pain had ebbed away, replaced by a curious pressure, a blossoming sensation of fullness unlike anything you’d felt before.
Hyunjin, however, froze.
You knew he’d probably felt that thin tissue - your so-called “innocence” - give way. With ominous slowness, he slid his fingers to the place where you were connected and lifted them up to the light. In the harsh gleam of the streetlights above, the faint traces of blood - your blood - marring his pale skin was obvious.
And when he looked at you again, those ice blue eyes were mask-like, unreadable once again.
“You know who I am, don’t you, sweetheart?” The endearment sounded like a curse in his mouth; his tone - stiff, chillingly empty - sending a small shiver down your spine. All you could do was nod, silently.
“Then you must be out of your fucking mind,” he hissed, fingers biting painfully into the meat of your hip, body still pressed heavily into yours. “The hell are you doing giving someone like me something this precious?”
“It’s…it’s not though?”
Hyunjin raised a challenging eyebrow at you.
“I mean…yes, I’ve never been with anyone before, but why does it matter?” Your words came out in a gasp, almost jumbled - mind and body craving what had been so abruptly interrupted, the pull strong enough for you to blurt out your true feelings…all of them. “I want you, Hyunjin - I want you, and I’ve never wanted anyone as much as I want you right now.”
The iciness of Hyunjin’s gaze wavered, melted just a smidge. His death grip on your hip morphed into a heavy, possessive pressure; his thumb started rubbing circles into that sensitive crease separating your thigh from your waist. “Why?”
You could barely string the words together at this point - but you knew they had to be said. “I…I was alone, you were surrounded by your boys b-but - something made me feel like you were the only person in this club who felt the same…the same loneliness that I did.”
At that, his fingers stilled. Hyunjin’s eyes searched yours carefully - looking for what? You didn’t know. But whatever he found…it seemed to be satisfactory. For those long arms wound tightly around you once again, hiking you higher against the rough wall.
“Fine. You can have it your way, angel.” And as his head dipped to your neck, lips bruising the signs of his lust onto your skin, a choked moan spilled forth from your lips as those slender hips snapped into yours - pushing his cock further into you, balls deep, stretching your sensitive walls beyond belief.
“So fucking tight,” he murmured hoarsely, now driving himself into you in a steady, punishing pace. “How much would it take to fuck you loose for the first time, hmm? Maybe I should take you home and test it out,” he mused, a chuckle just this side of unhinged bubbling forth from his lips. “Tie you down and fuck this sweet little pussy until it’s swollen and red and aching.” Even just the thought made you involuntarily clench down on him, drawing what was almost a growl out of his throat. “Such a good girl.”
And you? You were lost. With just a small shift in angle, Hyunjin’s cock was now sliding right against that sweet spot, deep inside you, his pubic bone grinding deliciously against your clit. The feeling of his lithe body caged in between your thighs, crushing you in against the wall; the sinful trail of fire his mouth was leaving along the delicate skin of your neck, your throat…if you’d known that this, this is what sex was like - you would’ve had it long, long ago.
…But a little voice told you that - this might just be sex with Hyunjin that felt like this.
And with that, it wasn’t long before you shattered in his arms, heels digging into his back as the peaks of your pleasure rolled over you - only to scream as Hyunjin’s large hands slammed you down against him, impaling you fully on his cock as, with a throaty groan, he filled you full, hot cum splattering against your sore, sensitive walls.
There was a beat of silence, with only the sounds of heavy breathing to break the still. As you leaned your head back against the wall, struggling to come back down from your high, you could feel Hyunjin’s gaze burning through you.
“Beautiful,” he whispered, as if just to himself. You blinked your eyes open to see him watching you - but something about the way he was looking at you had changed. Where before they’d been fiery, filled with unambiguous lust, desire, cockiness - that frenzy had given way to something more…profound. Like he was trying to see you, see through you - see you for who you really were.
You hated to break the moment - but now that you weren’t burning up with lust, the very physical ramifications of being fucked up against a wall were making themselves known to you. You danced your fingers over Hyunjin’s collarbone. “Can you…”
He snapped out of whatever trance he was in, hands surprisingly gentle as they cupped your thighs, supporting your weight as he let you down from the wall. When you stumbled on landing, the strength in your legs failing you, he steadied you against him.
“Does it hurt?” His voice was gruff, clearly masking some emotion he didn’t want you to see.
“Pretty sore, yeah,” you admitted with a wry smile. “But hey - makes it more memorable, right?”
It seemed like he wasn’t expecting that flippant of a response from you, for the next thing he blurted out was - “Romantic fool.”
You could tell he hadn’t meant to be so abrasive, a cloud of regret immediately passing over his face, but you knew what he meant.
“It’s okay,” you told him, shrugging it off. “I know I am and that I shouldn’t-”
You stopped when you felt soft fingers under your chin, lifting your head back up. Hyunjin looked deep into your eyes, the corner of his plush mouth upturned in a crooked smile. “It takes one to know one, angel.”
He bit his lip, hesitating. It looked he wanted to, was about to say something more - but then…
“Well, well…and what do we have here? A stray dog rutting in an alleyway, tsk tsk...” An arrogant, menacing voice called out from the darkness, accompanied by the sound of slow, deliberate footsteps - of more than one person.
“Fuck,” Hyunjin spat out, blue eyes narrowed in icy fury. “These assholes don’t know what’s good for them.” You watched as he transformed in front of you, back into that cold, dangerous - honestly sexy - mafioso.
“You need to get out of here, angel - I don’t want those fuckers to get even a glimpse of you.” Hyunjin passed his hands over you, quickly, efficiently straightening out your clothes and his. “Can you do one thing for me? Run back to the boys and tell them that the fucking pirates are sailing in. I’m gonna need backup here.” You nodded quickly, knowing you - and he - didn’t have much time.
Just as you turned to run away though, Hyunjin caught your hand in his, stopping you. “I…I’ll come find you, okay?” His voice was pitched low, serious in tone. You could tell he meant what he said…at least, for now. You murmured a soft agreement before making your escape.
Luckily, Hyunjin’s boys were still where you left them. You decided to go up to the one in the middle, the one with muscles straight out of a GQ magazine, who was watching you waddle back into the bar with a knowing smirk plastered across his face.
Bicep Boy - you might as well call him that - spoke first. “Boss still recovering?”
You felt yourself flush with embarrassment. For a brief second, you wondered what they thought of you - wondered how many times they’d seen Hyunjin do this exact thing. The thought sent a sudden shudder of jealousy through you - but that wasn’t important right now.
“No - he, um, he sent me to get you guys. There’s a few guys outside…and he wanted me to tell you that, uh, the pirates are sailing in?”
You startled back as their relaxed, nonchalant attitude disappeared in a flash, the three of them jumping to their feet immediately. “Fucking hell,” the man in front of you hissed, looking pissed as he fished around for a tip to throw on the bar. “Those motherfuckers just can’t stay in line, can they?”
“Wait…” the man next to him, almost drowning in a fancy mink coat, piped up abruptly. “If hyung sent her back to us…does someone need to walk her back?” The three men paused for a second, the weight of their gaze prickling as they turned to look at you again, size you up.
“No no,” you protested. “I’ll take care of myself - they couldn’t have gotten a good look at me anyways. I’d rather you go back Hyunjin up...make sure nothing happens to him.”
From their approving looks, you’d clearly passed some sort of test. “Take this then,” the third man, silent until now, shoved a ball of fabric into your hands - Hyunjin’s abandoned coat. “That dress stands out too much - and I’m sure the boss’ll be getting it back from you soon.”
And with a surprisingly warm, friendly smile - he and the others were off.
You were left standing at the bar, with an expensive, bulky coat in your arms and the eyes of most of the club on you. With nothing else to do, you slunk your way out of the club, just as you had looked forward to doing just a short while ago…
But why did it now feel so disheartening?
And…here you were. Alone, at home, on a weekend night - again.
You’d just curled up on your couch, idly watching TV - not because you particularly wanted to, but more because sleep had deserted you. Every time you closed your eyes, all you could feel was the ghost of Hyunjin’s touch - his body against yours, his lips, his fingers on your body.
You shook yourself off. Maybe some ice cream would help, you mused, shoving off the blankets you’d just tucked yourself into to get up.
But then - the doorbell rang.
For a second, you froze. You and your roommate never really had visitors…and the fear that maybe someone had followed you home from that alleyway flitted through you.
On the other hand though…what if it was him?
Taking a deep breath, you made your way to the door. Keeping the chain hooked, you slowly pulled it open, just a crack - and were immediately rewarded with the sight of those already familiar, icy blue eyes.
Hyunjin.
“I’ll…I’ll leave this second if you want me to,” he started, fingers fidgeting with his bracelets. “But I just felt that we left some things…unfinished back there.”
You agreed, but even if you didn’t - you weren’t going to miss out on this.
Quietly, you let him in. Even though you were positive shit went down after you left, Hyunjin looked perfectly fine - statuesque, just as before. When you gestured to an armchair, he shook his head. “I think I want to stay standing for now.”
Your heart sunk. Maybe seeking you out, coming all the way to your apartment…wasn’t to make the gesture that you thought. Maybe this was just an apology, an attempt to tie things off between you, neatly, permanently, with a bow on top. Maybe…
Shuffling slowly back to your couch, you sat down and waited for him to speak.
“I…I don’t do this often. I know what it might look like, but…I don’t really sleep around, chase after women just looking for a quick fuck. That’s not who I am…and that’s not what I want you…or this to be.”
At your sharp inhale, he took half a step away from you - his eyes solemn, searching yours to see what he could find. He bit his lip. “This is so selfish of me, I know…but I’d-I’d like to see you again. Take you out somewhere, more formally…as you deserve.”
“Why is that selfish?” A little bud of hope had flowered in your heart…but you were still confused by his hesitance.
He took a second to respond. “You’ll be a target, you know,” he murmured quietly, gazing down at his clasped hands. “I know a lot of dark people - and they wouldn’t give a shit about…using you to get at me. Being seen with me, being with me…you’ll never feel safe again.”
Slowly, you stood up and walked over to him. Standing right in front of him without your heels, without the wall hiking you up against him, you had to tilt your head back to actually look at his face full on - though his eyes still wouldn’t meet yours. And so, you did, running your hands carefully up his arms to rest on his shoulders.
“Then why do I feel the safest I’ve ever been, Hyunjin, standing here in front of you?”
At that, his head snapped up, finally looking at you directly.
“I want to try this,” you told him, your voice calm and steady. “I would love to…do something more formal with you too. And…” your voice wavered, as you gathered your confidence in turn, “maybe you could stay with me for a bit tonight too?”
You wished you had a camera to capture how Hyunjin’s face lit up - how those plush lips curved, eyes crinkled up in a genuine, warm smile. “I would love to.” You felt your heart stutter, your own lips curving in response.
“Well then,” you dusted your hands off, putting on a business-like air for him. “Let’s get you settled first. Want me to make you something? Or is there anything you want to make?”
“I’m useless in a kitchen,” he told you, cracking a sheepish grin. “But I can whip up a mean ice cream sundae.”
So, that’s what he did. You let him make you that sundae - which really was good. You sat side-by-side and watched three episodes of drama, sharing your ice cream in increasingly comfortable, companionable silence. Hyunjin didn’t need to know how much of that time you spent watching him, your lips quirking at just how caught up he got in the show.
You let him take you back to your bed, let him thoroughly, passionately destroy any innocence you had left with every weapon he had at his disposal - his fingers, his lips, his tongue, his cock. Once you’d gotten your fill of each other - once you let him take you and take you again until your cunt was sore and swollen, your thighs quivering from exhaustion - you laid there together in your bed - naked, your head on his chest, his arm tentatively, carefully wrapped around your waist.
And then…he talked. About how he’d dreamed of being a painter, an artist one day…before his world as he knew it went up in literal flames. About how he would gladly kill - and die - for his boys, his strays, who’d banded around him, put their trust in him when he was nothing. About how being the boss, being the top was lonely - was stressful, painful and exhilarating, all at once.
By the end, you could tell he was exhausted; his body had drifted down against yours, his head now cocooned against your breasts, and you both were doing your best to pretend the droplets of moisture on your chest were sweat. But still, he listened to you too, never making you feel like your problems - your purposelessness, your friendlessness, your inability to make your own dreams reality - were too mundane or unworthy, even compared to his.
Finally, you let him pull your weary body against his, curl his lanky torso around yours. “I’ve never slept the night in someone else’s bed before,” Hyunjin offered up, voice soft and vulnerable in your ear. “That makes two of us,” you whisper back, running your fingers up and down the arm wrapped around your waist. He tugged you a little closer in response - and closer still as he fell asleep, taking you underneath with him.
Part of you had been nervous about going to sleep - in case you woke up just to find that…this had all been a dream. That you were alone, as always, in your cold bed - that you had no lover to wake up to.
Those fears were dashed the second you woke up and felt Hyunjin’s warm presence still behind you. You rolled over slowly - only to find him already awake, watching you with a small smile. He was a study of contrasts in the pale morning light: soft, pouty lips; mussed hair - bruised knuckles; dark, swirling tattoos. He was beautiful, and - at least, for this morning, for now - he was yours.
You shoved him headfirst in to the shower, and while he cleaned up and squeezed himself back into those delectably tight clothes from last night, you worked your ass off to make a feast for breakfast. It was worth it though - at least, the shy eye smile, the soft “thank you” that he gave you in response...it was worth it.
And that’s how your roommate found you when she came back: the two of you perched on your rickety kitchen stools, Hyunjin’s arm now wrapped comfortably around you as the two of you giggled over a drunk video - a music video? - Bicep Boy (Hyunjin had laughed at you, telling you his name was Changbin) and the other two had fucked around shooting last night.
“Oh!” She gasped. You whipped your head around to watch her do a literal double take at the sight of you and Hyunjin.
Hyunjin stood up with a yawn, deliberately stretching himself to his full height. “I was just leaving.” You bit back a grin - sure, he might be shy, introverted at his core…but when he wanted to, Hyunjin definitely knew how to put on a show. So you just smiled fondly as, with a lascivious little wink, he leaned down to give you a whopping goodbye smooch, with tongue for good measure. He’d clearly listened to your retelling of your roommate’s role in this whole ordeal.
“Bye, angel. I’ll text you.” And with a poignant look and a final squeeze of your hands, Hyunjin was off. You almost wanted to pinch yourself as another test, again. But before that - you had something - or someone - to deal with first.
“Is that…”
“Yes,” you nodded. “The date you set me up with…didn’t pan out, but I ran into Hyunjin at the same club.”
“Looks like you did a little more than run into him alright,” a small, teasing smirk on her face as she looked you up and down. “That’s funny though. I used to…see one of the other guys from SKZ, a long while back…” she trailed off, lost in thought for a second. “It’s a long story,” she sighed, “but anyways…” She shook her head, turning her attention back squarely to you. “You and Hwang Hyunjin, eh? How’d it happen?”
“It’s a long story,” you smiled back up at her, before taking a deep breath. If you’d gained any perspective from what you’d spilled to Hyunjin last night, it would be that the only person who could lift you out of your loneliness…was you. “Wanna talk about it over breakfast?”
She stilled for a second, but you watched happily as a slow smile crept across her face.
“Let’s do it.”
As you got up to make her a plate, you heard a relatively unfamiliar sound - your phone buzzing from not just one, but multiple texts.
> Hyunjinnie: Same time, same place this Friday?
> Hyunjinnie: If I can make it that long without you…
> Hyunjinnie: ❤️
You didn’t think your heart still had flutters left to give after everything that had happened…but here it was, flittering away. You responded in kind, telling Hyunjin you’d be counting down the days on your end too - and that was the honest truth.
You’d just sat down again, about to pick up your fork, when your phone let out one final buzz.
> Hyunjinnie: (Oh, and bring that roommate of yours too. I’m sure your ~Bicep Boy~ would be happy to see her 😉)
It took everything you had in you to keep a delighted giggle from spilling out past your lips. You eyed your roommate, who had a faraway look in her eyes as she methodically buttered her slices of banana.
Things sure were gonna be interesting around here - and you were so looking forward to keeping it that way.

So happy belated 3000! I know I am a little late to the party but we’ll, here I am 😅 I kinda missed the post for the „I love you 3000 writing bonanza“… But if you still take request I gonna leave this one here:
What about some smutty CEO!Ari „I might be a terrible dancer, but I‘ve got great moves in bed“? Because… Ari is… 🥵
Ari is in a league of his own and it's been a while since I've written him so oh boy was this a treat!
Elementary - CEO!Ari Levinson x Reader
Summary: Too many shots of tequila plus an insanely attractive boss equals an unforgettable night

You had no idea how you got into this situation. Well… actually no you did. To break it down into a simple mathematic equation (office party + alcohol) + insanely attractive boss = incredibly awkward and frankly stupid social interactions.
From the moment you met Ari, you were completely smitten. You were surprised that you even got the job as his personal assistant after spending the majority of the interview drooling over his insane body which he teased with his rolled-up sleeves and one too many shirt buttons undone. Yet somehow you did, you guessed your extensive CV and experience did most of the talking because your mouth certainly didn’t.
When you were offered the job you weren’t even sure if you should accept it or not. If you did you would have unlimited access to stare and daydream about him, you would be the person closest to him in the entire company. But you weren’t entirely sure whether you could actually do the job with a distraction as good as him only a short distance away. You didn’t think you could bear the embarrassment of being fired by him.
Your friends and a couple shots of tequila gave you the courage to accept the job, because you were really, really good at being a personal assistant. So surely even if you were distracted you would still just be a good assistant.
Thankfully it was surprisingly easy. While your crush remained it definitely became less intense and debilitating after a couple of weeks. You guessed it was because of Ari’s easy-going, charismatic nature. It was impossible to not become friends with him and with that friendship came an air of ease between you. He wasn’t a big terrifying CEO, he was just Ari. Did you still have fantasies about him? Yes of course, but you were still able to walk into his office and not be a bumbling mess.
That easygoing friendship was irrevocably changed at the most recent office party. You couldn’t remember exactly why or what you were celebrating, you just knew that Ari asked you to book a private bar and make sure there was plenty of booze. Which you did, too well, because if there had been less booze you probably wouldn’t have made a fool of yourself.
In your defence Ari is a terrible influence, all it would take was a flash of his lopsided smile and you’d do whatever he said. Including drinking more shots of tequila than you should have. You could argue however that you were a bad influence too, you were the one who dragged him out onto the dance floor. With so much alcohol pumping through your veins you didn’t think much about how you were moving your body, you just danced. Ari had laughed and danced along with you, the warmth of his hand never far from you as he held your hand, or ran it down your back or sides.
“It’s a good thing dancing skills weren’t essential when I hired you” he laughed after you pulled out a dance move that was frankly criminal.
You shot him a smile as you turned to face him, hips twisting as you placed your hands on his shoulders. He in turn rested his on your waist, his tongue darting out to wet his lips as your hands shifted down to rest on his chest.
“I’ll let you in on a little secret,” you said beckoning him closer so you could whisper in his ear “I might be a terrible dancer, but I‘ve got great moves in bed”
You could hear his quiet groan over the heavy bass of the music as he pulled away enough to look you in the eyes. His gaze turned so heated you were sure you were about to melt.
“Oh really? Are you up for showing me those moves?” he asked, voice low, his hands drifting to the small of your back.
You bit your lip as you smirked up at him. To hell with the consequences. You nodded your head.
Ari gave you a wolfish grin “Let’s go then” he said, turning you around, keeping his hands on your hips as he led you out of the bar.
You knew exactly where he was taking you, he’d asked you to book a bar in a hotel and to also book him a room so he could crash there without needing a driver to take him home. Your heart was pounding in your chest, electricity pulsing along your skin as heat pooled at your core.
You’d barely stepped into the suite when you both began devouring each other. You wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders and practically climbed him like a tree as he walked you back towards the bed. Your dress was discarded on the floor, and his shirt ripped open before the back of your knees even hit the mattress.
Despite the amount of alcohol in your system, you felt 100% sober and aware as he knelt down, hooked your leg over his shoulder and dove in to taste you. If the alcohol was dampening your senses you wondered what this would be like sober because it was already so goddamn amazing. You weren’t even embarrassed at how quickly you came because it was the best damn orgasm of your life.
As soon as he rose back up you grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him down on top of you, tasting yourself on his lips and his weight pressed down onto you. No time was wasted getting him completely naked and inside you. The stretch was so perfect that you were certain you were completely ruined. It was like a completely animalistic side of both of you won out as you clung onto him, nailed biting into his skin as he thrust deeply into you.
The rest of the night was a blur, yet one you could remember with absolute clarity. You’d lost count of how many rounds you had gone but you knew that you had performed more positions in one night than you had in your entire sexual history. If you had a sex bucket list it would be halfway completed by the time you and Ari collapsed back into bed, too tired and out of surfaces to carry on.
Which brings us to now. The moment you wake up, your body sore like you had climbed Mount Everest five times and your head pounding. You blinked a couple of times as your eyes tried to adjust to the light pouring in. Once they had it didn’t take you long to realise you weren’t in your bed, nor were you in your apartment. The weight draped across you was not your duvet, it was a long and muscular arm.
Your heart hammered in your chest as you followed the arm back towards its owner, alarm bells ringing when you saw Ari fast asleep next to you. Shit. You remembered every last detail from the night before, you didn’t regret any of it because how could you regret the best night of your life? But you were absolutely certain you were about to lose your job.
You didn’t have much time to dwell on that thought at all though as Ari’s eyelid fluttered open and his bright blue eyes immediately landed on you.
“Hey,” he murmured, voice deep with sleep.
You instantly melted hearing his voice, he already had a deep sexy timbre but adding sleep to it just took it to a whole other level.
“Hey,” you whispered.
His arm around you tightened, pulling you closer so your head was resting on his chest “I had a lot of fun last night… did you?” he asked, fingers tailing up and down your arm.
“Yeah… I did” you admitted because there was no way you could lie to him.
“Good” he hummed “wanna make it a regular thing?” you were silent for long enough that he added “And I don’t just mean last night, I mean dinners and all that other stuff people do together”
You were pretty sure your heart skipped a beat, you gazed up at him and saw that lopsided smile that made it impossible to say no. And why the hell would you say no, more nights like last night and mornings waking up next to him? You’d be insane if you said no.
A smile crept onto your face as you nodded “I’d love that” you said quietly.
Ari smiled back down at you, as he cupped your cheek and kissed you softly “Good” he grinned before shifting slightly beneath you “I don’t wanna talk about work but on Monday I want you to wear that cute little black pencil skirt” he smirked.
You chuckled “Done, anything else you want me to do boss?” you smirked.
“I want you to put out a job advert for another PA,” he told you.
It felt like a bucket of cold water had been dumped on you, yeah you loved the idea of being with Ari but you still needed a job “What?” you choked out.
Ari shushed you gently “Don’t worry, you still have your job if you want it” he reassured you “I just think we’re gonna need another assistant to help out while we have some fun in my office” he grinned.
Your smile returned to your face as you nodded “It’ll be the second thing I do Monday morning”
Ari arched a brow “What’s the first?”
You bit your lip as you shifted closer to him, your lips a breath away from his “you” you whispered before kissing him deeply.

ready get set go get it go ♪ (part 2) first part here
on the second meeting with seokmin, the nervousness didn’t seem to have diminished. you thought that maybe, after seeing him for the first time and feeling the good energy he radiated, the anxiety would fade. but it didn’t. as you waited in the rehearsal room, your mind buzzed with worries: was he overwhelmed? did he really want to be there, or did he feel like it was just another commitment to add to his already packed schedule?
you sighed, staring at the piano in the corner of the room, trying to focus on anything other than the restlessness in your chest. seokmin was already known for having a tight schedule, and you knew that besides rehearsing with you, he still had to juggle recordings, training, and preparations for seventeen. deep down, there was a part of you that wanted to be invisible, to not get in his way at all, but you also knew these rehearsals were important.
when the door opened and seokmin walked in, out of breath with a genuine smile on his face, you couldn’t help but smile back. he always seemed so at ease, even when you knew he was probably exhausted. the feeling of inadequacy returned with force.
"sorry for being late, i had a quick meeting with the manager," he said, adjusting the backpack on his shoulder.
"no problem," you responded quickly, trying to hide how nervous you were. "i was just reviewing some notes."
seokmin smiled reassuringly before stepping closer, placing his backpack on the floor, and grabbing a bottle of water. while he got ready to start, you could no longer hold back your thoughts.
"seokmin, i know your schedule is crazy with seventeen. i keep wondering if you really have time for these rehearsals." the insecurity spilled into your voice, something you had been trying to hide since the first meeting.
he paused, twisting the bottle cap in silence for a few seconds before looking directly at you.
"y/n, i want to be here. really. these rehearsals are important to me too, and i'm not splitting my time for no reason. besides, working with you is great. believe me."
you blinked a few times, absorbing his words. he seemed sincere. seokmin’s calm smile and warm eyes always had a way of making you forget your worries, if only for a moment.
"if you need anything, just tell me, okay? let's give it our best, no rush," he added, placing his hand on the piano for support, a spark of encouragement in his gaze.
you smiled, even though there was still a small twinge of uncertainty. seokmin was doing his best to make things flow naturally, and the feeling that everything would turn out fine, even if temporary, began to settle in you.
with each rehearsal, things were starting to flow better between you. the initial nervousness was still there, but it seemed easier to handle over time. seokmin always arrived with that radiant smile, and gradually, you began to feel more comfortable in his presence. the tension between his rehearsals with seventeen and yours still hung in the air, but he never showed signs of fatigue. on the contrary, seokmin always seemed genuinely happy to be there.
that afternoon, after a series of vocal warm-ups and reviewing some harmonies, you took a break. he pulled his phone from his pocket and started typing quickly, frowning. you watched him from the corner of your eye, trying not to seem curious, when he let out an enthusiastic sigh, putting the phone back in his pocket.
"something important?" you asked, trying to make conversation.
seokmin smiled, his eyes shining with excitement. "ah, i just got an invitation from some friends. they're putting on a musical tonight."
you nodded, trying to appear indifferent, but the curiosity was there. a musical? of course, he must have a circle of equally talented friends.
"i think... it’ll be fun," he said, looking away for a second. and then, before he could stop himself, he added, "do you want to go with me?"
the invitation lingered in the air for a moment, as if he hadn’t realized he’d just asked the question. there was a hint of surprise in his eyes, and you noticed he probably acted on impulse. and, just as quickly, before you could rationalize the situation or think about the consequences, the words had already escaped your mouth.
"i’d love to."
the silence that followed was brief but loaded with mutual surprise. you both looked at each other with shy smiles, as if processing what had just happened. it wasn’t like you had planned to hang out outside of rehearsals, and the idea of a social outing suddenly felt... different.
"great!" seokmin broke the silence with an excited laugh, slapping his hands on his thighs. "it’s going to be fun. i think you’ll love the cast. they’re amazing."
you smiled, trying not to show the mix of nervousness and excitement now filling your chest. had he noticed how much this invitation had shaken you? the ease with which he’d asked you stood in contrast to your internal reaction, which was a whirlwind of thoughts. now you weren’t just rehearsal partners—everything seemed to have moved up a level, and the closeness that came with that was something you weren’t entirely ready to process in that moment.
the next few minutes passed in a blur. as he talked about the musical and the cast, you could barely focus. part of you wondered, "this is just an invitation between colleagues, right?" but another part—the one that was constantly aware of his every smile, of the way he always tried to make you feel comfortable—suggested there might be something more, something you were just beginning to understand.
when the rehearsal ended, you left the room with your heart racing, clutching your bag tightly. it was just a musical... or was it the start of something more?
after watching the musical, you were filled with emotions. the play had been incredible, and seokmin seemed radiant beside you, smiling and clapping enthusiastically at the end. he turned to you, his eyes shining with excitement. "what did you think? wasn’t it amazing?"
"it was! you were right, they really nailed it!" you replied, feeling energized by his enthusiasm.
after the performance, seokmin suggested you join him backstage to greet his friends in the cast. the idea of being in such an intimate space with people who knew him so well made your stomach churn. as you walked towards the dressing room, he chatted excitedly about the play, but you were lost in your own thoughts, nervous and a little insecure.
upon entering the dressing room, you felt your shyness intensify. seokmin was all smiles, his gentle and affectionate demeanor shining through with everyone, especially the lead actress... she was a striking presence, full of confidence, and the way he interacted with her made you wonder if he would ever feel that comfortable with you. a small pang of insecurity tugged at your heart.
while he chatted excitedly with the others, you tried to distract yourself, fiddling with your phone. you scrolled through random photos and videos, but your mind was far from the screen. the mood in the dressing room was joyful and celebratory, and you felt a little out of place, like an outsider in a world that seemed so familiar to seokmin but so new to you.
"y/n, are you okay?" seokmin finally noticed your distance.
"oh, yeah... my manager just sent me a message, i was replying." you lied.
"any problems?" he asked curiously, and you shook your head with a smile.
he moved closer, with a worried expression. "sorry for not introducing you earlier. come on, let me introduce you." he instinctively grabbed your hand, and your heart seemed to skip a beat.
you forced a smile, feeling a bit guilty for being so caught up in your thoughts. he guided you towards the cast members, who greeted you warmly. "guys, this is y/n. but of course, you must already know her."
“oh, y/n! i can't believe you came to watch us!” said one of the actors, and the energy in the room shifted. you felt a bit more welcomed as they expressed excitement about your work. the lead actress, who had been seokmin’s partner in a previous musical and shared a few staged kisses with him, looked at you with a curious and excited smile. "i never would have guessed you two knew each other."
ridiculously, you felt an uncontrollable need to justify your relationship, as if you had to explain yourself to someone who meant so much to seokmin. “oh, we’re working together on a project,” you explained quickly, feeling a little embarrassed for having to give an explanation.
“our boy seokmin really is an important guy,” one of them said, making seokmin laugh shyly, his eyes nearly closed and his bright teeth fully showing. you couldn’t help but gently touch his back.
“i can’t believe i’m going to sing with someone so famous,” you admitted. seokmin looked at you with admiration.
still, you remained calm and friendly, laughing and interacting as if you were completely at ease, even though the sensation of being in the spotlight made you a bit uneasy. what was supposed to be a simple interaction turned into a curious moment of shared laughs and mutual compliments.
soon, the meeting was coming to an end. seokmin said goodbye to his friends with hugs and laughter, and you felt a mix of joy and sadness. as you both left the dressing room, he asked you, "did you like the play? i think you should watch a few more.”
“definitely! everyone was so talented. do you have any other musicals to recommend?” you asked, trying to keep up with the conversation as you walked towards the parking lot.
“yeah, actually i love watching musicals,” he confessed. "we should plan to watch a few more together." he was so happy to talk freely about what he loved.
your heart raced at that. “sure! sounds like a great idea!”
“great!” he said, looking so excited that you could barely contain your smile.
after leaving the dressing room area, you both walked to the parking lot. the environment was lit by streetlights, and the fresh night air surrounded you, creating a comfortable atmosphere. seokmin chatted enthusiastically about his plans and projects, but you were still processing the energy of the meeting and the interactions that had just happened.
when you reached the car, seokmin turned to you, his eyes shining. "i really hope you enjoyed it. they’re amazing, right?"
“yes, they’re incredible!” you smiled, though a small part of you still felt distant, as if you were trying to find your place among those who seemed so close and intimate with him.
as he drove, the conversation flowed naturally, and you found yourself smiling and laughing at his jokes. when you arrived at your house, the atmosphere became a bit more serious.
"well, i guess we’ll only see each other again in berlin," seokmin said, with a hint of sadness in his voice.
“yeah, i can’t wait for the festival,” you replied, feeling the anxiety rising again. the moment of goodbye was approaching.
he opened his arms, and you felt a little lost. did he want a hug from you? it was your first hug, and it felt like the world around you stopped. the warmth of his body enveloped you, and everything seemed easier right there, in that moment. you could smell the softness of his cologne and feel the steady beat of his heart, and your insecurity was replaced by a comfort you hadn’t expected.
“take care, okay? see you in berlin,” he murmured, his voice low and reassuring.
you nodded, still wrapped in the feeling of the hug. “you too. good luck with everything.”
as you both pulled away, his eyes held a mix of excitement and expectation. the farewell was sweet but also carried with it an unspoken promise. the time until berlin might feel long, but the connection you were building made everything more exciting, despite the lingering insecurities in the air.
i believe the third (and final part) will be available on sunday, sometime after the broadcast of lollapalooza berlin :)

Today really wasn’t shaping up to be Edwin’s day. For one, he was still stuck in Port Townsend. The dreary, frigid weather reflected his mood perfectly as he ended up voluntarily rooting through various pieces of debris and detritus down an alley behind the house they were investigating if only to get away from Charles’ constant attempts at trying to impress Crystal as he followed her around like a puppy. He hadn’t even spared Edwin a glance when he stated his intention to search outside. Edwin briefly looked over at one of the top floor windows, wondering if his companions were having any better luck inside. So far, this job had been nothing but dead end after dead end even with the mediums help.
He yelled out in fright and fell backwards from where he’d been crouched down investigating the contents of some half rotted wooden crates. A tabby let out a string of equally shocked profanities as they bolted over the lip of one of the crates and through a gap in the fence lining one side of the alley- but not before taking an instinctual swipe.
“Sixty six.” He hissed as he clambered back to his feet, trying to maintain some semblance of dignity as the burning sting originating from the back of his hand started traveling up is arm – the leather gloves he’d removed in some misguided (pointless) attempt at keeping them clean mocked him from inside his pocket. They weren’t deep scratches at least, but that didn’t make them any less uncomfortable.
“Well, well. What do we have here?” A familiar voice sang out from right behind him. Edwin levelled a glare downwards (because at this point, surely only someone or something from Hell could be responsible for how this day was going). He spun smartly on his heel to face the Cat King – Thomas. Edwin had heard through the grapevine his name was Thomas - head on, expression artfully just the right side of annoyed and hands clasped behind his back. The other being was dressed in the same skirt and boots he’d worn on their first meeting, only this time paired with a ridiculously fluffy brown sweater Edwin would probably be coveting right now if he were capable of feeling the cold.
“Something you need?” Edwin drawled, hoping his bored tone would make Thomas take the hint and leave.
He merely grinned and arched an eyebrow in response, “Depends what you’re offering. No, I merely thought I’d drop in and say hi to my favourite ghostie and imagine my surprise when I turn up to see you getting down and dirty, routing through the garbage. Would have thought that was more your ‘best friends’ wheelhouse.”
Edwin personally may not have used air quotes a day in his life (or death), but he’d seen Charles use them often enough to understand the implications the action created. “He’s currently searching elsewhere. With Crystal.”
“And not with you.” Thomas’ grin took on a sardonic edge, “Oh hoho! Trouble in paradise is it?”
Edwin didn’t reply, but he could do little to stop the twitch of his jaw which was apparently all the confirmation Thomas needed, “Bestie’s had his head turned and left you, quite literally, out in the cold. Ouch.”
“It was merely a matter of convenience.” Edwin snapped, “This case has given us absolutely nothing but trouble and the sooner we solve it, the sooner I can get back to counting your bloody cats and the sooner I can leave.”
Thomas raised both hands in mock surrender, “Ok, as you say. But just so you know, I’d never-” He trailed off, smile dropping as he leaned in closer to Edwin until the ghost was almost tempted to take a step back. Almost. “Why do you smell like you’re in pain?”
Edwin blinked in surprise, “Beg your pardon?”
“Pain. Where are you hurt?” Thomas asked, completely disregarding the opportunity to say something crass about what he’d rather Edwin beg for.
Edwin scoffed, “I assure you, I’m perfectly fine – hey! ” He spluttered as Thomas reached around and grabbed the wrist of his injured hand in a gentle but insistent grip.
“Don’t even try.” Thomas said flatly, levelling the ghost with an unimpressed look as he bought the hand around to inspect it.
“As I said. I’m fine, it’s nothing.” Edwin tried to focus on the shine of the others gold nail polish and not how gently he was turning Edwin’s hand this way and that for closer inspection.
“Aaaw!” He simpered, “Did one of mine leave you with an owwie?” His tone of voice may have been that of someone addressing a young child, but Edwin saw the real, unasked question in the hard glint of his slit-pupiled eyes.
Who?
“It was my fault, I startled them. I’m sure they didn’t mean it.”
“As am I.” Thomas said running warm fingertips gently over the red lines, “None of them would dare intentionally hurt what’s mine.” He bent his head and pressed a lingering kiss directly on the injury.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing!?” Edwin demanded, snatching his hand away and silently berating himself for not doing so sooner.
“Just kissing it better, darling.” Thomas replied with a wink, “If you ever get bored of being an outdoor ghost, you know where to find me.”
A puff of purple smoke, followed by a fluffy brown tom cat strutting back out onto the main street and Edwin was once again alone.
“Absolute wazzock.” He muttered as he made to continue his hunting, unsure which of them exactly he was talking about and trying to convince himself that the dissipating pain where Thomas’ lips had been was just a figment of his imagination.

To be honest, you assumed that your official induction to the Port Mafia would contain a plethora of trials and tribulations to determine your strength, resolve, and perhaps the darker aspects of your character. You'd had the idea that you might be asked to prove loyalty by committing a crime, whether that be killing someone or something equally heinous.
No. Absolutely none of that happened.
Apparently, when you're friends with a mafia executive, it's as simple as just asking them to work there. Such was your case, at least, being close with the infamous Port Mafia executive Chuuya Nakahara. 'Close', in theory, was supposed to be code for 'in a relationship', but the 'friends' aspect was certainly throwing a wrench into that plan. Perhaps by joining the mafia you could get closer to Chuuya? You always knew how important to him his work was.
To your luck, Chuuya was happy to take you in as one of his subordinates and act as your guide to organised crime. You'd initially wondered how he would be testing you to see if you were a good fit for the occupation, but that time never came. Instead, you were called and asked to meet with him to go over a few basic rules so he wouldn't 'find your ass in a dumpster on day one'. Those were his words, and you had initially scoffed at them.
"How do I get other people to respect me? I don't think I'm that scary," you asked. This was not the first question but rather one of many you'd been asking Chuuya during your slow evening wander around what you supposed was the wide expanse of the Port Mafia's turf. The size of the area you'd travelled so far led you to believe that perhaps you may have been biting off more than you could chew with this new job. Clearly, the Port Mafia didn't fuck around.
"Well, you're a mafia underling now, but more importantly you're my subordinate. People who know me are gonna respect the people I recruit. In fact, you'll probably eventually have troops of your own."
"Ooh, like henchmen?" You asked.
"No- this is the actual mafia, not a Saturday morning cartoon," he shook his head. "Listen. Being part of the Port Mafia is serious business. I know you're not stupid, but just try not to be too...friendly with people you don't know."
At that point you weren't really sure if there actually was anyone you didn't know in the Mafia. Of course, you'd never known anyone in real life aside from Chuuya, but he'd already gone through all the important ones. The other executives, Akutagawa, the Black Lizard, and even the boss himself whom you were still quite terrified of meeting.
"I'm gonna be fine. It's not like I won't have you to protect me anymore," you grinned, nudging his arm. He didn't return the smile. "Don't worry about me, Chuuya! I'm gonna be alright."
"You're too optimistic, Y/N," replied Chuuya who continued his stroll. You quickly shuffled to catch up with him.
"I'll do my best. I promise." You told him firmly. He let out a sigh. You continued to walk alongside the mafioso quietly, wondering what exactly was going through his head. You had thought that you were the only one who had your concerns with this job, as much as you tried to conceal them. Did he really care about you so much that he'd worry like that?
"Oh, right, I almost forgot about this." Chuuya stopped and turned to face you. "There's a tradition here, where the person who recruits you gives you something of theirs which represents that they're responsible for you. It's how I got this," he explained, jerking a lazy thumb towards his hat.
"...you weren't born with it?" You asked, and Chuuya rolled his eyes. "I was joking!"
"Very fuckin' funny, Y/N. Anyway, this means that I now give you something as a new member of the Port Mafia, which will be..."
You were about to say something but stopped as you eyed his next movements; that is, him removing his choker from his neck and presenting it to you. You stared at it, almost in awe.
"...your choker?"
"Your choker," he corrected, and you glanced up at him. He was giving you a reassuring smile. You shook your head.
"I can't take this- no, it's important to you."
"...that's why I'm giving it to you, Y/N," Chuuya replied, cocking an eyebrow. "That's kind of the point."
"Are you sure?" You hesitantly queried, reaching out and nervously taking the choker from his gloved hand. It felt warm. "Because you know, you look really cool with this thing..."
Chuuya let out a snicker as you examined the new accessory. "How flattering. But I'm sure." After hearing that, you eventually hummed in acknowledgement and began to put on the choker. Or, at least you tried to. It turns out that putting something on your neck without being able to see it is quite difficult.
"You need help?" Chuuya asked after a moment of silence.
"Well, yeah. I don't have a mirror, Chuuya. Or, are you like, Mr. Nakahara now that you're my boss?"
"Fuck no," he answered, and you laughed. Chuuya took the choker from you and began to fasten it around your neck. In your close proximity, you could almost feel his breath on you each time he exhaled. You were worried that perhaps if he focused hard enough he would be able to hear your rapidly beating heart.
"Not too tight?" He suddenly asked as he carefully adjusted the choker.
"Nope." Could he notice your nerves? If he could, he wasn't showing it.
"Right, there we go. You look great." Chuuya took a step back and examined you, now clad in his choker. Your hand travelled to your neck and brushed against the black choker.
"I do?"
"Yeah- it suits you." He smiled. You didn't know what to say, bashfully casting your eyes to the ground. "Are you blushing at me? C'mon, now."
"What? I'm not...!" Your hands flew up to your face, which was admittedly pretty hot, as Chuuya leaned forward and eyed you roguishly. "Oh, maybe I am..."
"Don't let anyone else see you do that, alright?" He warned you, though he was still giving you a cheeky smile. "You keep this between you and I."
"Y-yeah..." you nodded. You figured that he was right- getting embarrassed so easily wasn't very mafia-like. But it almost seemed as if he were purposely trying to tease you. "But you know, people are gonna see me wearing the choker."
"Again, that is kind of the point of it all, Y/N." He told you as he straightened.
"Yeah, but I'm probably gonna blush about it again if anyone asks!" You exclaimed. "It's essentially a piece of jewellery. People might start thinking we're a couple or something."
Chuuya bit his lip. Then he shrugged.
"And?"
You opened your mouth to say something but quickly closed it. Dumbstruck, you couldn't think of a way to answer him. You truly couldn't tell if he was joking, apathetic, or if that was actually supposed to be some sort of confession. Chuuya sighed in amusement, before patting you on the shoulder and continuing to stroll past you. You turned to see him walk a few feet further, before stopping.
"You know what? I think you're gonna do just fine with me." He turned his head and beamed at you. "Welcome to the Port Mafia, Y/N."
i love chuuya ( 〃▽〃)
