being an astrophysics student is all fun and games until you have a morning lecture the day after an observation night
#GODDDDDD AND WE DIDNT EVEN OBSERVE ALL NIGHT I WAS ONLY THERE FROM LIKE 5PM TO 3AM#but now i have to function on like 3 hours of sleep fucking kms#and there are some profs i wouldnt mind spending 10 hours straight with. the prof for this class is not one of them#at least i got some homework done for other classes during but like. being productive the day after an observation night is IMPOSSIBLE#stupid ass major. makes you be nocturnal and then also makes you take 8am classes#also makes my laptop beg to be put out of its misery#what do you mean i cant have a stellar evolution simulation running in wsl while also having 300 arxiv tabs open (despite having mendeley)#and have 3 scripts open in vscode and have D/S9 open to see how fucked the data is from our last observation night???#the real stellar simulation is my laptops core temperature reaching the effective temperature of the sun#long ass rant over sorry#i love love LOVE my field <3 i just also love bitching#changelog#<- always thought thatd be a funny personal textpost tag and i cant think of a better one so im using it
