You know, I rarely if ever mention it or reblog anything about it but while thinking about my favorite games today it occurred to me how absolutely foundational the Etrian Odyssey series was to me and the trajectory of games and art styles I came to like as I grew older, so, have like 100 reblogs as I appreciate that today lol

#I was 17 when it came out and I remember going with my dad and brother to a Micro Center in Houston to get some RAM #and happening to see this funky looking art on a game box for the DS on the shelf all by itself just one copy #and I was so reserved back then but something in it really called to me so I was brave and picked it up and was like can we get this too #and well #changed my gaming life forever lol thank you Etiran Odyssey
