Pairing: Miguel O'Hara x F!Reader
Summary: Everyone at HQ was convinced there was something going on between you and Miguel. Just...no one knew what. But one group of spiders were determined to figure it out.
Warnings: None! Just a lot of goofiness and a whole lot of fluff :3
When you have a superhuman with superior senses, theyâre bound to be perceptive to their surroundings. Now when you have an entire lobby the size of multiple football fields filled with superhumans with superior senses, very few things will go unnoticed.
Itâs why people very quickly realize that you and Miguel haveâŠsomething between the two of you. Itâs just that no one is quite sure what.
Camaraderie? Maybe, you were one of the first spiders to join the society.
Friendship? Perhaps, but it was known that Miguel wasnât one to do friends. Not with the amount of loss he has gone through.
A relationship? This one seemed the most unplausible. Miguel was, well, Miguel. Stoick, cold and calculating. Meanwhile, you were you.
You had a light that drew people in, kindness that knew no bounds and warmth like a fire on a cold winterâs day.
Everyone knew the saying âopposites attractâ, but it was like comparing night and day with the two of you. Regardless, a small little group within the society were set on trying to figure the two of you out.
~
âAinât no way the two are together, sheâs too good for him!â Hobie argues, his legs kicked up on the table in front of him.
âI donât know, maybe thatâs why they work together. Because she makes him better?â Miles says, but his tone of voice failed to hide his skepticism.
âI think you should just leave the two of them be. Besides, what happens if you figure it out or not anyway?â Peter says, feeding Mayday as he does. Immediately a chorus of arguments breaks out from the group.
âOKAY! Okay, forget I asked,â he says with a shake of his head, while Mayday just laughs at the commotion.
They spot the two of you walking into the cafeteria making conversation none of them could make out.
âLook at them,â Gwen says, âhave you ever seen the guy happier than he is with her?â she asks, and Hobie snorts.
âCâmon mate, you call that happy? Mans got that frown tattooed on his face, can he even be happy?â he says, but they all continue watching intently.
You glance over to the table they were surrounding, and they all brush off your gaze pretending as though they werenât just studying the two of you like specimens under a microscope.
You wave your hand, a bright smile on your face while Miguel only glances over for a moment before continuing to walk. You jog to catch up to him, grabbing a tray and picking up things you wanted for lunch.
They watch as they see Miguel pick up the empanada, the last one left. He pauses for a split second, holding it before turning to place it on your tray. Almost as though they were straight out of a cartoon, they freeze at the interaction.
You seem to be slightly surprised as you, saying something to him but he only brushes you off before continuing on.
âDidâŠthat just happen?â Pavitr asks. Everyone at HQ was aware of Miguelâs fondness for the food (even if he did hurl one right at Miles when they first met), there was no way he would give one away so easily for just anyone, right?
âSomebody pinch me,â Gwen says, and Hobie jumps at the request.
âOW!â
~
Miguel never lets anyone help him out when heâs injured. That was just a known fact. He could walk into HQ battered and bruised and wouldnât even look in the infirmaryâs direction once. After depending on himself for so long, he wasnât going to stop now. Besides, what were First Aid kits for after all?
The only way he was going to the infirmary was if someone dragged his unconscious body there themselves.
Well, unless you were there.
âMiguel OâHara I swear to god, you better get your ass to the infirmary or so help me I will tie you up and drag you through the halls myself,â you say sternly as you both reemerge in the Lobby. The rest of the Spiders there continued with what they were doing, but their attention was zeroed in on you both.
âIâm fine,â he says, glaring at you as if trying to say âJust tryâ. Had you been anyone else, you would have backed down by now but you didnât.
âYou wanna test me right now? That was a nasty hit, I will not be letting it get infected under my watch,â you retort, and he puffs.
âThis is nothing, Iâve dealt with worse,â he scoffs, and in an instant your finger shoots out, making contact with the side that got hit with the anomalyâs flames. Miguel canât help the sharp intake of breath as the pain from the impact hits him.
Your eyebrow raises, an expression of disbelief on your face before it softens. Murmuring softly, you say something that only he can hear.
For a moment he studies your face before sighing, finally relenting. With a triumphant smile, you place a hand on the manâs broad back, leading him towards the infirmary with a gentle but firm hand.
There, Pavitr is laying in bed recovering from an awry mission of his own. The doctors had ordered bedrest for the next 2 hours at least. Superior healing or not, they were not going to risk it. So there he lay, slinging his golden bangles up and down bored before he hears the two of you come in.
âMr. OâHara-" a doctorâs voice can be heard, but he is quickly interrupted.
âSheâs got it from here,â he says, Miguelâs tone final. A small âyes, sirâ can be heard before footsteps fade away, the doctorâs office door closing once more.
âYou know, you should really let the professionals help you,â your voice can be heard.
âYou dragged me here, you can deal with the consequences,â he says, and you just laugh fondly before your voices quieten, murmuring too quietly for Pavitr to hear.
Curiosity builds as he recalls the conversation he and his friends had, and before he can stop himself he shifts silently to the side, just enough to be able to catch a glimpse of you both from the small gap between the hospital curtain and the wall.
There, Miguel sat on the bed, a disgruntled expression on his face but his eyes were soft as he watched you fuss over his side.
He only watches for a few seconds before pulling away, this being a clear invasion of privacy, and his bossâ privacy no less.
It wasnât going to stop him from telling everyone else though.
~
âThis is a bad idea. This is a really, really bad idea,â Miles says, grasping onto the ceiling like his life depended on it.
âItâs only a bad idea if we get caught, so Shut. Up,â Gwen says sharply, hanging from her place on the ceiling as they watched the fight from above.
Gwen had come up with the mighty fine idea of sneaking into a mission between the two of you. It wasnât often that it happened, Miguel more often than not only went on missions with only Lyla by his side. But when he needed a partner, it was always you.
âWhy did you have to bring me with you,â he whispers, âMiguel already doesnât like me. He doesnât need more of a reason to.â
âBecause I needed backup and you can turn invisible. And letâs be real, Hobie would be laughing his ass off getting us caught, Peter would bring Mayday which would get us caught, and Pavitr is already on a mission, now shhh,â she whispers, turning back to watching the scene below.
You swung from pillar to pillar in the abandoned factory with practiced ease, a carefree laugh escaping your lips as Miguel stands on the ground fiddling with his watch.
âThe anomalyâs last known location was here,â Lylaâs voice echoes out, and you let out a sigh.
âWhy canât villains have easy powers. Maybe a giant blob that is easy to take down? Why do they have to be so complicated? Whatâs this one again, a freaky shadow monster?â you think out loud.
âWhereâs the fun in that?â Miguel retorts, glancing up toward you for a moment before turning back to Lyla. âDo a scan of the place, will you?â
âWhat do we say~â Lyla responds, and you giggle softly while Miguel huffs.
âPlease,â he mutters.
âWhat was that?â
âPlease, Lyla,â he says a little louder now, irritation growing in his voice.
âAlready done,â the AI snickers, and he groans out loud as your laughter bounces off of the walls, a fist held out for Lyla to bump.
âThe two of you will be the death of me,â he says lowly.
âOh, donât be like that, grumps. Youâd be too stubborn to die,â you retort before tensing up, the hairs on the back of your neck rising with the familiar feeling of your heightened senses at work. The moment you sling yourself up is the moment a loud thud sounds out from where you once stood.
âOh, I forgot to mention that the anomaly was in the far right corner,â Lyla says before disappearing.
âI really need to do a rewrite of her code,â Miguel mutters to himself.
In your previous spot emerges a dark figure, plumes of smoke emerging and dissipating from its form and allowing it to disappear into the shadows with ease.
With a simple nod, you get to work. Like a well-oiled machine, you work in practiced synchrony, bounding across the walls and slinging webs.
And just like that the anomaly is captured, the force field around it effectively trapping it for the ride back to HQ so it can be sent back to its own universe.
âThat wasâŠkinda lame,â you snicker, pulling off your mask
âTold you so,â Miguel says as he opens up a portal for you both, dragging the anomaly behind him.
âDonât say that to me,â you pout.
âWhat, canât handle the truth?â he retorts, a smirk playing across his lips as your bickering voices fade through the portal.
ââŠwas that a smile,â Gwen asks as she watches the spot where they both had stood.
âWas that what it was?â Miles asks, a shudder racking through his body.
~
It was late at night at the HQ, and at this time everyone else had already gone back to their own universes. The few that lingered were the ones finishing up after a late-night mission.
Or, you were Peter B. Parker frantically searching through the kitchen for a bottle of milk for Mayday after a playdate with a select few spiders that went on for way longer than expected.
Mayday was an easy baby. Always happy and smiling, but that all disappears when she was hungry and you did not want a spider baby on a rampage.
âAlright, alright, give Daddy a few seconds to warm up your milk please?â Peter pleads as Mayday continues to babble angrily, crawling all over him.
She pauses for a moment, attention drawn elsewhere as she hangs off of her fatherâs back before leaping.
âHey, lil spider!â You say with a laugh, catching her in your arms. âWhat are you doing here so late?â you ask.
âPlaydate with Miles, Gwen and Hobie. Time really flew and she refused to leave until now,â Peter sighs tiredly, and you pat him on the back before putting her up onto your shoulders. âWhat are you doing here so late?â
You shrug, grabbing two mugs from the cupboard.
âWorking late. Like you said, time really flew,â you say, but Peter knew that wasnât the full truth.
âWorking so hard that you need two cups of coffee?â he asks, holding out the bottle for Mayday to take, which is what she does happily as she snuggles up in her fatherâs arms.
âWhat can I say, caffeine doesnât really work on me,â you grin, pouring the coffee from the machine. âGoodnight, Peter, Mayday,â you say, ruffling her red hair fondly.
And as quickly as you appeared, you disappear.
~
People didnât often disturb the big boss man Miguel when he was working. Not if you wanted to stay on his good side.
It was even less often that someone barges into his room full of screens as he monitors the Archno-Humanoid Polymultiverse, let alone a group of them.
âWe heard you talking to someone! And laughing,â Gwen says hesitantly as if she couldnât even believe it herself. But she was invested in figuring out what the deal was between the two of you now.
âWell, do you see anyone around?â Miguel deadpans, his arms wide and gesturing around broadly. You could barely stifle the giggle as you sat on a beam high up on the ceiling, going unnoticed.
âW-well, noâŠBut!â she says, and Miguel raises an eyebrow which makes Gwen shrink in her spot slightly before recovering. âBut we heard you. There was someone here, wasnât there?â
Hobie, ever the perceptive one tracks his eyes along the ceiling before spotting you swinging your legs with an amused look on your face. It seemed as though no one else had noticed though.
Miguel watches Hobie spot you and his eyes narrow in his direction, as if saying âI dare you to say anythingâ to which the spider only raises his hands in mock surrender.
âNo. There wasn't." He says, his tone final. "If thatâs all youâre here for, I have important work to get to. So why donât you go bother someone else, yeah?â
~
âI give up,â Gwen says, slumping in her chair. âWeâre never going to figure it out.â
âFigure what out?â Jess asks, walking up to the group.
âWhether or not there is something going on between those two,â Miles says, nodding towards you and Miguel talking over in the corner of the room.
Jessica only hums, a knowing look in her eyes but she doesnât say anything. Only asks a simple question.
âWhat makes you think so?â
âEveryone here knows that thereâs something there, even if they want to admit it or not. Sheâs one of the few people he tolerates, theyâre together almost all the time and he actually seems happy around her,â Gwen reasons.
âYou could have just asked, you know,â you say, coming up on their conversation with an amused look on your face.
Their expressions range from flustered to simply amused and you canât help the laughter that bubbles up as you make eye contact with Jess.
âAnd to answer the question,â you reach down your suit, pulling out a simple chain with a ring dangling off of the end.
âWeâre actually married.â
The group goes silent for a moment, eyes wide as they stare at the necklace in your hands, trying to process your words.
Then, all hell breaks loose.
A/N: Hehe, I'm quite happy with this one :3 This is my first attempt at writing Miguel, sorry if I butchered him but I am absolutely hyperfixating on him after seeing ATSV in theatres yesterday.
Based on the prompt by @imslightlycreative though slightly changed :)) I hope you all enjoyed <3
Part two out now!! Read it here.

I just started watching Dimension 20âs Fantasy high, halfway through sophomore year, and I do want a fic where people realise just how used to being part of a group the bad kids are. For example-
-I fully believe every single one of them is used to Riz climbing them so he can see better. Itâs usually Gorgug, but itâs happened to all of them at some point. They might hold out their arm for him to jump onto a counter, or so he can pin a clue to his board. Before they all sit at a table, at least one of them makes sure their 4â4 friend can jump onto the table.
-Every single one of them has also caught Adaine after she had a vision. Sometimes she can just shake them off, but the big ones make her falter in what sheâs doing, which can be dangerous. It happened once in a fight, and now the people standing closest to her are always ready.
-Fabian doesnât really recognise he has a blind spot with his eye injury, because the others immediately clocked it. But this also means they walk in between him and the road, in case some idiot mounts the curb. They keep an eye on anything to his right, shifting drinks and pushing chairs if they can tell his depth perception is a little off.
-Fig usually stands in the middle of the group to intimidate people into not messing with them, so itâs sort of become habit to just crowd around her. After the battle, if no oneâs seriously hurt or anything, everyone just wanders over to Fig. At this point, Fig is always the first one to yell out after a fight, just so they can regroup.
-Gorgug is the go-to for lap-sits, leaning, anything to do with being physically supported by another persons body. His hoodie is soft, and his headphones are loud enough that you can kind of hear it if youâre leaning on him. His parents werenât great with nonchalant physical contact, in case he was already upset, so he takes great joy in his friends not being scared to hug him for fun.
-Kristin has left her staff at every single house she could with the bad kids. She leaves her bag in classrooms, the library, the cafeteria. Whenever the group leave somewhere, they do a full scan, because Kristin has probably left something and they grab it for her. No one has any clue who her bag actually belongs to, because all of the bad kids have been seen carrying it around school several times.
The school at large know who the bad kids are, and the town recognise them, but they still donât know why all of them double check a room before leaving, or collectively carry a small stool around with them. One student with a fantasy iron deficiency faints in class and Kristin catches her before she hits the ground. Once, Fig isnât in school for a day and all the bad kids have this restless energy about them. It is not uncommon to see them on the field during lunch, curled up in a pile on Gorgug. One guy tries to surprise Fabian from the right and gets body checked by Adaine before it even registers.
Itâs sort of uncomfortable for everyone to see any of them without the others, because it means a) the rest of them committed a crime, b) the rest of them are committing a crime, or c) the rest of them are about to run in and start planning to commit a crime. And no one wants to lose their plausible deniability here.

shoto todoroki is fucking shameless. and surprisingly clingy.
heâd done a good job becoming a little more social little by little. heâs still a little wonky and awkward during the few times he tries to make conversation, but he tries and thatâs the good part. youâre proud of him.
youâve known shoto since you were kids, his closest friend, youâd seen him through it all and youâre so grateful that heâs found friends he feels comfortable and happy with, though he always reassures you that youâre dearest to him, which always makes you a little too giddy and flustered for somebody whoâs supposed to be his closest friend and nothing more.
youâre in the cafeteria chatting with your mutual friends, shoto had told you to go off without him since he needed to go the bathroom and you found yourself sitting next to midoriya when heâd scooched in next to you, happy to see there was still a spot for him at the table. you liked midoriya a lot, he was sweet, cute and most importantly he made shoto come out of his shell in a way that you regrettably never could, plus the way he flails around when he gets embarrassed is pretty funny.
(you did notice ochacoâs face going completely blank for a few seconds, but you didnât think much about it.)
after a few minutes of giggling and chatting shoto shows up, and something is immediately wrong with the way his natural straight face goes absolutely dead in the span of three seconds. itâs subtle, but you know him and itâs there. there also seems to be a chill in the room now.
heâs at your side of the table in three seconds, but he doesnât register your smile in greeting as his cold gaze is glued to the green haired boy next to you.
âmidoriya,â and his voice even sounds a little deeper, colder as he speaks like he somehow managed to use his right side on his mouth.
âthatâs my seat.â he states calmly.
âoh ! my bad, todoroki !â izuku splutters an apology, but shotoâs eyes do not waver, staying fixed on the boy until he grabs his tray and makes a move to stand âi didnât realize this was your spot, sorry !â
you feel a little bad at how intensely heâs apologizing, but youâre still shell shocked about that look. shoto seems unfazed though, his expression morphs slightly when izuku goes to squeeze in next to iida.
âi always sit next to yn.â
itâs so stupid. really, it is. how fast that makes your heart beat. because shoto does always sit next to you, he always has and he still always does when you come over to his house. but itâs the fact that he didnât say he always sits here, in his unassigned assigned seat.
he said he always sits next to you. and your mind and heart races.
you donât get much time to think because immediately heâs next to you, sighing before sitting as close to you as he can. he looks over to you and you look back, still a little startle but his features are soft again when he looks at you. he drops his utensils to thread his fingers with yours under the table.
â did you wash your hands, mister ?â you tease, but you squeeze his hand when he squeezes yours. he frowns but itâs not the one from before. it almost looks like a pout and you snort.
âyes, i did.â he snips, you giggle and his eyes soften. even as you assure him you were just kidding he doesnât mind, he couldnât be mad at you.
you offer him a bite of your lunch as truce and he leans forward and plops a piece in his mouth from your chopsticks, then offers you a bit of his precious soba noodles and even holds a hand below them so they donât spill because he insists on feeding you himself.
your friends pretend they donât see the lowkey romantic exchange, but with the way shoto keeps insisting to have you eat his food and the soft barely there smile when you crack a joke that manages to break through his icey demeanor, they can start to figure out why he wanted to sit next to you so bad.
#i just randomly thought of this#LEMME ALONE ITS CUTE TO ME WIAKAK#Jealous but hes lowkey a dickhead shoto??#LEMME BEE#plus hes a baby about it ?? ERRRAYGHAHAH#leave me#hes a baby#this is kinda dookie but oh well#btw dm my interchangeable use of shouto n shoto lmao#shouto drabble#shouto x y/n#shouto x you#shouto x reader#shoto todoroki x you#todoroki shouto x reader#shoto fluff#shoto todoroki x reader#shoto drabble#shoto x y/n#shoto x you#todoroki shoto x reader#shoto x reader#todoroki x reader#todoroki x y/n#todoroki x you#todoroki fluff

Danny is Damian's clone.
He's well aware of it. He wasn't just any clone. He was the very first. That was the difference between Danny and other clones. He was made before the League started using brainwashing and stuff into their cloning process.
When Danny was fresh out of the tube, the League had sat him down and explained his the purpose of his existence, gave him some intense training, and immediately tossed him out into the world.
But the thing was, he just didn't care. He had absolutely no loyalty to his creators, and he had no desire to kill/kidnap his original. So he just started walking. The next thing he knew, he was at some orphanage in Illinois.
And then the rest was history. He got adopted by a pair of enthusiastic scientists and their red-head daughter, got his own name, and he could finally start living his own life.
Danny had put the past behind him and had barely even thought about it at all for a long time. That was unill his original showed up at his school.
----------------
Damien was annoyed. He was stuck at some random Illinois town (supposed to be the most haunted place in the world, which was a bunch of ludicrous.) On a transfer program. He tried convincing Father how illogical it would be, but Father had told him it would be good for him to meet new people.
___
Danny was annoyed.
"I don't understand what the big deal about him is anyways," Danny complained.
"He started being the ceo of Wayne Enterprise when he was a teenager." Sam countered.
"Ok, so, nepotism."
Sam rolled her eyes. "I still don't understand why you're so against him."
"One, billionaire. Two, Tucker is way cooler than Tim Drake.
Sam's eyes soften. " Tucker is just gone for a few weeks."
Danny's cheeks felt warm. "I never said anything about that. I just want Tucker to find a cooler role model, is all.
Sam gave him an all-knowing look. "Well, if you say so. I'm going to get in line."
Sam, all ways waited last to get in the lunch line. Claiming she didn't want to hold up line when the lunch ladies had to get the vegetarian option. Which was fine, but now that Tucker was doing the dumb transfer student program, all he could do was eat his mediocre lunch and mindlessly play on his phone.
Untill someone grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the cafeteria into the hallway. Danny turned around to face the person. He froze at the sight of his own face. Or well, a glaring rich kid version.
"Oh, it's you." Danny said nonchalant, even though he was screaming inside.
"You're not going to play dumb, clone?"
"No, why would I, The resemblance is uncanny.
"What are you doing here?" His original demanded
"You dragged me here."
His original scowled. "You know what I mean, clone. I won't hesitate to end you."
"Just trying to go to school, honest."
Original glared at him, scanning him with his eyes. The grip on Danny's arm loosened. " I'll be watching you, clone."
" Whatever you say, template."
Danny walked back to the cafeteria, blocking out the yells of rage behind him.
___
It was about a week of Damian watching his clone, and he was confused. At first, he thought the league sent the clone to trade places with him before he went back to Gotham, but now he wasn't sure. The Clone seemed to fit in the community to well to have show up recently, but that didn't disprove the theory entirely. It could be a long-term plan from the League. They could be responsible for putting the transfer program in place in the first place.
The other theory was that the clone escaped and made a life for himself, but that didn't explain how he got past his programming.
After the last period, Damian found his clone and pulled him aside.
"What do you want?" His clone asked, irritated.
"You're different then other clones, explain."
"I don't know. I didn't really stick around very long to find out."
"What about your programming?"
"I didn't have any?"
Damian thought about it before giving a small nod. "You don't seem to be a threat, but I'll still keep my eye on you, clone."
"I've got a name, you know." He held out his hand. "Danny Fenton, nice to make your acquaintance."
Damian heistently shook his hand. "Damian Wayne."
That started their unsaid agreement. You don't mess with me, I donât mess with you. They interacted with each other sometimes, but not very offen. They were impartial to one another, and both sides weren't very keen on getting to know each other. And that was their relationship till the day Damian was leaving.
Damian was waiting for the bus when Danny approached him.
"What do you want, Daniel?"
"I told not to call me that, but uh, here." Danny handed a piece of paper to him. "It's my phone number if you ever need help from the League or anything."
Damian slipped the paper into his pocket. "Give me your phone." Danny handed over his phone, and Damian started typing.
"What are you doing?" Danny asked.
"I'm putting my number in. If you ever require assistance."
Danny smiled, "Thanks."
____
A few months later.
Tim was peeking over a corner.
"What are you doing?" Dick asked.
Tim didn't say anything and just waved him over. He walked over and stared in aw at what he saw. Damian was slouched on the couch, his hair messy, playing on his phone.
A few minutes later, Jason joined.
"Am I hallucinating?" Tim whispered.
"Nah, I don't think so... unless we're all hallucinating." Jason whispered back.
"Do you think he has brain damage or been possessed or something?" Tim asked.
Dick shook his head. "That seems unlikely."
"This is so trippy. I've never seen him wear anything that casually like ever.
"What are you imbeciles doing?"
"We're watching Damian."
All three of them froze and turned to look at a glaring Damian.
Damian walked past them and went right up to the second Damian.
"Daniel, what are you doing here?"
The causal Damian 'Daniel' pulled out a letter. "Your pops invited me, and I didnât want to risk the chance of batman showing up at my front door."
Damian scoffed, "Of course, Father found out."
Alfred walked in. "Master Daniel, I'll be taking you to Master Bruce."
The double got up and went to Alfred.
"Cookie, Master Daniel?"
"Sure, and call me danny."

Turbo Lover ; Eddie Munson x Reader
summary: After getting fed up with Jason Carver and his gross attitude, reader decides to take him up on a dare. That dare, is kissing Eddie Munson on the mouth. Something she's been longing to do since she arrived in Hawkins.
word count & w a r n i n g s: 3.5K | female reader, smut, use of pet names (princess, sweetheart, baby, etc.), fingering, handjobs.
a/n: started writing this back in *checks watch* july of 2022....... ahem. finished writing this to turbo lover by judas priest, if you wanna listen! just felt like an eddie song to me, don't ask for clarification. this could possibly be a multi-parter, haven't decided yet. my first (technically) eddie fic...... do not come for my throat, thanks. not beta-read, yada yada yada. divider by @/strangergraphics!!
full fic under cut! â / ao3 link here! / I donât have a taglist anymore, but please turn on post notifications if youâd like to be notified of future fics!
âOh, choke on it, Jason.â
âMaybe Iâll ask Mrs. Cowan for a replacement lab partner.â
Rolling your eyes, you resist the urge to fling your forkful of corn at him. âHah! Please do. Iâd rather stick my tongue down Eddie Munsonâs throat and spend the weekend with mono than spend another blissful second trying to watch you figure out anatomy, dipshit.â
âGo do it then. I dare you.â Jason barks, nostrils flaring. He was going to call your bluff. There was no way that you were going to go over to that weird satanistâs table. Being more of a rocker, you werenât posh and cute like Chrissy was, but you still had boundaries. And a good head on your shoulders. He knew you did. He hoped you did.
âFine,â you snap, slamming both palms onto the table. âI hope you fail your science project.â Jasonâs confident expression falls. Your rings scrape against the plastic as you push yourself up. With more determination than youâd had the entire semester, you swing both your legs over the bench and head for Eddieâs table, navigating around the other tables. The rest of his little dungeon buddies are already gawking at you as theyâd been paying attention to the shouting. Confidently, you take a running leap up onto the table, and stomp your way down its length like a soldier marching towards enemy fire. The target, Eddie Munson, was staring at you with wide eyes and brows lifted.
âOutta my way.â The pointed tip of your boot sends an empty lunch tray flying off the table and clattering onto the floor.
âHey, Munson!â You drop down onto your haunches, and now, eye-level with him, grab his face and pull it towards you, crushing your lips against his. The roll heâs holding drops from his grasp, falling lifelessly onto his tray. As soon as his plush lips press into yours, giving way to your tugging, your shoulders relax, melting into the kiss. You had been waiting for an excuse to get his attention since youâd sat down in your first class at Hawkins High, daydreaming about talking to him. Youâd spent many a class period staring at Eddieâs lips, so you expected the kiss would be enjoyable⊠but not like this.
At first, both of your lips were closed, smushed together in the hurriedness of the moment, but when you exhale and his lips part, your tongue delves into his mouth, sweeping along his. To your surprise, he reciprocates the action, and presses his chin up into yours, asserting a new sort of need. Despondent groans and laughs of shock pepper the cafeteria around you, and from behind you, came the confusion of the other residents of the table. As you take Eddie Munson in literal mouthfuls, you felt something shift in him, and the noise started to fade away. You tilt your head, and push deeper into the kiss.
âWho the hell is she?â One of the boys asks, clearly as confused as everyone else was.
You shudder against him, feeling a burning heat between your legs, and immediately pull away to stand up, turning to face the far table. Jason was staring at you, looking more embarrassed than disgusted, but he did well hiding it with his scholarship scowl. You wipe the back of your hand across your mouth, drawing your â Eddieâsâ the mutual saliva across your cheek. Triumphantly, you hold your arms out, daring the blonde haired moron to say anything further. He doesnât.Â
With a proud smirk on your face, you pivot back to Eddie, lips parted to speak, maybe to apologize to him for being so forward. All that comes out though, is the jarring echo of the lunch bell as it rings loudly through the cafeteria. You take that as an excuse to get out of the situation, and step down onto the bench between two of his little minions, then onto the floor. With your heart pounding in your chest like a drum, you make a beeline for the lockers. Youâre practically running down the halls, and for what? To get away from Eddie? The guy you had just swapped spit with? And liked it? Â
After shaking his head free of the shock, Eddie hurriedly bins his lunch and takes off after you, leaving the boys to their own devices. He was panting quietly once heâd finally caught up to you. âHey, just wait a minute, okay?â
You say nothing, and keep digging in your locker for a book you knew wasnât there. Youâd left it at home, sitting on the edge of your bed.Â
âCome on, you canât just plant something like that on me and run away, man.â You hear a thump against the locker next to you, and out of the corner of your eye, see him leaning his shoulder into it. You huff and keep digging.
âYou really think Iâd give you mono?â He asks, sounding hurt.
Forcing your breath out through your teeth, you stop digging, and lean back to look at him. Those puppy eyesâŠ
âNo,â you say, feeling bad that he even heard that to begin with. You shut the locker. âI donât. But the point was that Iâd rather suffer with yâ errr suffer any sort of wicked sickness than be even remotely happy around him.â
âSo⊠whyâd you stop? Was it that bad?â
âNo, actually. It wasnât. I stopped because I⊠um, the bell was going to ring.â That was a lie. You stopped because your beating heart had sunk between your legs. Kissing him was a massive turn-on, but you werenât about to admit that.
âThat it didâŠâ he starts, absentmindedly playing with a strand of his own hair. âAnd now weâre late.â
You narrow your eyes. His brows flick upwards and the tip of his tongue presses pointedly into his lower lip, a little glimmer of mischief in his expression. Ready to prove him wrong, your eyes dart to the clock above the lockers, the visual causing you to curse under your breath. You hadnât even heard the second bell, but he was right. Three minutes past. And Mr. Jenkins? Didnât let anyone in after the bell rang. Fucker. Eddie shimmies closer, his soft, brown eyes falling to your lips. He was smiling, watching you and looking like he was daydreaming about having those soft lips against his again.Â
âYou wannaâ... maybe show me what else youâd rather be doing than spending your time with brainless Ken dolls?â
You considered the offer for a moment. You had been pining after him since your first English class with him, and now⊠your split decision had thrown open the door to opportunity. When youâd tried to close it, Eddie had put his dirty white Reebok right in the way.
âScrew it, letâs go.âÂ
âYeah?â He confirms, excited.
âYeah.âÂ
Eddie wastes no time, taking hold of your hand as he passes you, towing you in the direction of the doors and out into the parking lot.Â
How did you end up here? In retrospect; youâd probably have to thank Jason for pissing you off that day, in that particular way that really drove you over the edge. Because if he hadnât, you wouldnât have been crawling into the back of Eddie Munsonâs van while he stood behind you, looking at the gentle curve of your ass.
After throwing a cautious glance over his shoulder, making sure there werenât any prying eyes watching the two of you, Eddie follows you inside and pulls the door shut behind him, the metal squeaking loudly. You sit down and cross your legs, resting against the interior wall. The inside of his van is warm, having baked in the sun all afternoon. Cassette tapes litter the floor behind the seats, and a Judas Priest shirt hangs over the headrest of the passenger seat. A few undisclosed cables are wadded up in the corner, you assume they were musical in nature. He seemed like the type. Itâs exactly what youâd pictured his van to look like.Â
Eddie clears his throat. âSorry about the⊠mess.âÂ
You chuckle, looking brightly at him. âI donât care. Plus, Judas Priest is rad. That song that came out last month⊠Turbo Lover? Gets stuck in my head all the time.âÂ
Delighted by this reaction, Eddie knee-walks over to you, that same mischievous smile on his face as before. He leans down, exhaling over your lips before looking into your eyes with a burning curiosity.
âWhy were you sitting at his table anyway? You donât seem like his type.âÂ
âHis type? Gah, gross. No. Weâre lab partners. Regrettably. Turns out, heâs kind of a massive dolt when it comes to science.â You pause and heave a sigh, your breath rushing out over his cheeks. He blinks. âI really donât want to talk about Jason right now, Eddie.âÂ
âOh yeah, totally.â With that, his hand snaps to your jaw, where he holds it gently, his thumb stroking your cheek. âYou wannaâ makeout or something?âÂ
You canât help but laugh, unsure if itâs because of the butterflies in your stomach, or because heâs kind of a dork. Smooth and very charming, but a dork all the same. You chalk it up to a combination of both and lean forward until the tips of your noses touch. âYeah, Eddie, I wannaâ makeout. Again.â
This time, Eddie is the one to initiate the kiss. He presses his lips against yours softly a few times, your lips sticking together each time he pulls away. Relishing in the taste of you, he hums into the kiss, pressing himself closer to you. After a few moments, he breaks the kiss to readjust his position. The break is too long, it seems, because before you know it, heâs back to leaning over you and craning his neck down to kiss you from above. His hands drop to find your neck, his thumb trailing down over the front of it while the others stay tenderly wrapped around the side, squeezing slightly. The motion sends a deep shiver down your spine, reigniting the embers of your arousal. Eddie laughed breathily into the kiss.Â
âQuite the reactionâŠâ he murmurs over your lips.
âOh, shuttup.â Your hand makes a fist in his shirt, pulling him back onto you. âKeep kissing me.âÂ
âAs you wish.â He says dreamily, with lust woozying his speech. His voice is slightly deeper now, laced with hunger, and you whimper, pressing your knees together. Out of the corner of his eye, Eddie notices this, and moves his free hand to your kneecaps, wriggling in between them to separate them. They fall apart with no resistance, and again, Eddieâs chuckle vibrates against your lips, sending a tickling wave over them. Your willingness almost embarrasses you, but when Eddie says nothing, only moves to slot himself in between your thighs, you realize that heâs into it.Â
âNo need to be shy here, princess. Just you and me.â
Your hands wrap around his neck, fingers splaying out over his back. âGod, youâre cute.âÂ
âSo are you.âÂ
âNo, youâre really cute.âÂ
Eddie pulls away, furrowing his brow as if heâs confused. He is â heâs confused on whether or not you realize he thinks youâre a catch, too. You sense the confusion, and roll your hips up against his. His breath hitches in his throat, eyeing you pleadingly. Itâs a warning â you canât do things like that lest he lose control. Â
âUuughh,â you moan. âI donât know why it took me this long to kiss you.âÂ
âMe neither.âÂ
He presses his lips against yours again, his tongue slipping past the two plush pillows, tasting the waxiness of your lipstick. Swiping his tongue along yours, he deepened the kiss, enticing you to join in a painfully erotic dance of spit-swapping. He exhales hotly over your mouth and grinds his hips against yours, groaning softly into your mouth. You grind back, knowing exactly what youâre doing. You can feel what youâre doing to him; it was currently pressed against your inner thigh.Â
You reach down between your bodies, finding the warm bulge in the front of his black jeans and give him a soft squeeze. The sudden contact makes him lurch forward, crushing himself somehow further against you. He canât get any closer to you without melting into your body which, in truth, makes him crazy. He makes a sound â something between a whine and a gasp â and ruts his hips against your center. The pressure has you reeling, pressing your back against the inside of the van.Â
âEddie, fuckâŠâÂ
âYeah,â he echoes your sentiment, nodding his head so enthusiastically that his soft brown hair flutters.Â
âCan IâŠ?âÂ
He grins. âYou can if I can. Itâs only fair.âÂ
You let your legs fall farther apart, granting him access. With a newfound urgency, you quickly yank on his waistband, pull the silver button from its slit and maneuver your hand inside the elastic of his boxers. On the way down, you rake your fingers through the thatch of brown hair above his cock. Eddie responds by tightening his grip on your neck instinctively. The tips of your fingers find the searing hot head of his cock, precum leaking from the slit. With an audible mmmm, you swipe your thumb over it, smearing around the underside of the tip. Eddie hisses through his teeth, rutting his hips over and over again â forcing you to jerk him off a little. The tip slides through your fist, slippery and warm and you canât help but let out a satisfied sound.Â
âWow,â you breathe, in awe. You werenât sure what you expected, but feeling a cock this heavy wasnât on the menu. Youâd been with a few metalheads before, and they were all average at best. You thought heâd follow suit. Not heavy in your hand. But he is. God, he is. Eddie licks hungrily at your mouth before running his tongue along your bottom lip and taking it between his teeth, biting down slightly. You groan, pressing your head back against the wall.Â
âFuck, Eddie,â you say, breathlessly before squeezing his cock again. It twitches in your grip, hardening just a little bit further. You can feel the tension in his lower abdomen every time you slip your hand deeper into his boxers, tugging at his cock as you slide back up.Â
His hands drop from your neck to your waist to your hips, his thumb making circles on the strip of exposed stomach flesh between your black leather skirt and your shirt. One hand sinks lower, moving from your hip to your leg, sliding against the pillowy, cream soft flesh of your inner thigh. It slides up your skirt, pressing against the nylons, and grazing your cunt from the outside. Inside his jeans, your hand starts to go slack, but Eddie quickly snaps you back to attention.
âIâm gonnaâ need you to stay focused, baby. Donât stop.â Â
âS-sorry.â You pick up the pace, stroking his cock again at a much steadier speed. He lets out a soft groan, the feeling of your hand gently stroking his dick sending him into a haze of pleasure. But, he, too, has to focus.Â
Eddie gets back to work, carefully undoing the zipper on the side of your skirt. He tugs, shimmying the skirt down over your hips and continues pulling until he pauses to pull your legs from the black circle, tossing it towards the van doors. Now, the only thing between him and your cunt is the fabric of your tights and your white satin underwear. Youâre painfully aware of this fact and so is Eddie â the look on his face says it all. He sweeps you into another kiss.Â
Itâs almost as if he was using the kiss as a distraction from the adept way heâs rolling your nylons off your hips and down your thighs. You almost donât feel it and donât notice until heâs got them down around your ankles.Â
âMay I?âÂ
âMay you? What is this ââ You asked, trying to tease him, but your voice is so high pitched, so feathery with lust, that it just sounds ridiculous. You huff and nod, giving him whatever permission he felt he needed.Â
His middle finger traces the visible slit in your underwear and embarrassingly, your whole body responds. From your legs snapping shut on his hand to the utterly humiliating moan that tumbled off your lips, thereâs no coming back from that reaction. Eddie laughs quietly, almost devilishly and you relax your legs again.Â
âSorry, Iâve⊠Iâve beenâŠ. UmâŠâÂ
âKeep talkinâ, sweetheart.â
âOh god, fuck⊠Iâve kindaâ sortaâ had a thing for you since English with Mââ
âMrs. Lawrence? Last semester.âÂ
Your mouth hung slack. He knew?Â
âYou really thought youâd walk in, looking the way you do, and I wouldnât remember?âÂ
Your stomach tightens underneath your shirt; butterflies are erupting beneath the skin. Any further jabs to your heart and they actually might rupture through your ribcage.
His finger sweeps along your center again, before hooking around the scalloped edge of the panties and pulling them down over the curve of your hip. A clear, slick strand stretches between your cunt and the fabric before snapping. Eddie growls, a deeply pleased sound erupting from his throat.Â
Two fingers part your folds, sweeping tantalizingly at the underside of your clit before sliding down to your entrance. He prods the opening with his middle first, making tiny circles and spreading your arousal around your cunt. Finally, he inserts both fingers, sinking them to the knuckle. Moving his arm, you watch as the bats literally fly back and forth and let out a small, breathy laugh. The way he was working you felt so good, your hand instinctively tightened around his cock. Eddie shuffled closer, his knee in front of your cunt. Before you have time to react, Eddie abruptly takes hold of your left hand and brings it above your head, holding it tight against the wall of his van, his rings pressing into your fingers. Your digits tangle with his and he flays them open.
He continues thrusting his fingers in and out, watching your every move. You looked up and whined loudly; the sight of your smaller hand entangled with his larger one was divine, and sent another shockwave through your core. The coil in your stomach wound tighter, and tighter. Your body flushed with heat, and you were suddenly wishing you were naked underneath him. Eddie suddenly leans over you, pressing the side of his face against yours.Â
âIâm your turbo loverâŠâ He sings quietly in your ear, his tone honeyed and low, absolutely dripping with sex appeal. Your eyes roll back in your head, your jaw falling open. â...tell me thereâs no otherâŠâÂ
âOh fuck, Eddie, oh my god-!â
At the singing, your needy pussy clenched around his digits, shivering violently. His thumb moves to your swollen, tender clit, rubbing it back and forth expertly. The coil snaps, and you moan loudly, banging your head against the wall a few times.Â
âOH MY GOD!âÂ
You shouldnât have found it so hot, but the way he sung the lyrics into your ear sent a wave of electricity through your entire body. As the sound of your moans reach his ears, Eddie groans and bucks his hips rhythmically, pumping himself closer to the edge of orgasm.Â
After a few more pumps from you, his back arches and he groans your name â another surprise that he knows that â as his hot, sticky release coats your fingers as wave after wave of pleasure surges through him. The flushed, pink tip was exposed enough that when he does finally lose it, the first spurts of cum find their way onto your shirt. He doesnât notice right away, still thrusting his hips into your loose fist. Finally, he brings his head forward to look at you again. His chest is heaving, panting from the exertion, and his eyes trail from your face down to your shirt. The wanton look is replaced with one of horror.Â
âJesus, Iâm sorry! Here uh,â Eddie paused, stretching over to yank the shirt from the seat. âWear this. I promise itâs clean. Decently⊠uh⊠clean.âÂ
You didnât care if it wasnât. The fact that he had given you his shirt because he accidentally came on yours was single handedly the cutest thing youâd ever had a guy do for you. You withdrew your hand from his boxers, and he let go of your other hand. Quickly, you pulled your shirt over your head and wadded it up in a ball, setting it next to you. His shirt was baggy, but you quickly remedy that by tying the front in a knot. The way that Eddieâs eyes skirted over your breasts wasnât lost on you. You smirk.Â
âThink Mr. Jenkins noticed we were both gone?â He asks as you fluff your hair.Â
âProbably. Fâs for both of us.âÂ
Eddie smiles.
You look down at the shirt, trying to talk your blushing cheeks down. âIâll give this back to you. Remind me.âÂ
âSure,â he says, not fully convinced he wants it back. He likes the idea of you wearing his shirt around school. A dirty little reminder of what occurred. âYou should come to one of our meetings.âÂ
âMeetings?â You ask, quirking a brow.Â
âYeah,â he says, plucking his shirt. Your eyes drift down to the red, snarling demon on his chest. The words Hellfire Club crown the demon, decorated with medieval looking weapons.
âRight, right. Dungeons and Dragons⊠Iâve never played it.â
âIâll teach you, sweetheart. Donât worry.âÂ

Spider DNA đ·ïž
ââââââââââââââââ
(red: Miguel)
(summary: you caught Miguel in his office rutting, and he asks for help. only for you to find out another defect of his spider DNA)
CW: monster fucking, aggressive sex, biting, clawing, licking, uses of degrading names, 2 dicks, slight choking if you squint, edging, anal.
ââââââââââââââââ
12:46 PM.
You just had gotten done on a mission with Peter B, walking down the lobby halls and squeezing past a couple of the other members with an empanada in your hand.
You'd popped into the cafeteria, grabbing two empanadas (one of which you'd already eaten by then) and the second one for Miguel.
Miguel and you have never really spoken since you first were recruited, but sometimes he'd make small talk that surprised you considering he'd never really talk to anyone. So you thought it would be nice to bring him some lunch as he's locked up in his lab as usual.
You make your way down Sector 4, getting in the elevator as it goes up and you keep your hands around the empanada container, making sure it stays warm.
The large doors finally open as you get to the top, walking down the hall and past several big machines from Miguels projects, the lights dark as usual.
The closer you got to the main part, the heavier the buzzing sound in your head became, your spider senses tingling but you ignored it, assuming nothing could possibly happen.
But then you get to the end of the hall, leading to the main part of the lab and you see Miguel hunched over his desk, helplessly and aimlessly humping the side of a table.
His face was a flushed mess, biting his bottom lip with his eyebrows scrunched together as he tried to have some sort of relief underneath his suit.
His grunts and whimpers fill the lab, as he claws and bites at the desk, humping repeatedly.
Your eyes widened, an unexplainable knot twisting in your stomach but in a... good way?
You go to take a step back but by the time your heel had lifted off of the ground he was already standing up and glaring at you.
"what are you doing here.?" he snapped
You didn't know what to say, so you just held up the empanada in the small cardboard container.
"... empanada." you mumbled, your eyes still wide.
His platform was already on the ground, so he was in front of you within seconds. His eyebrows scrunched together and with every breath he took he let it out in a small growl.
"um... here." you say shakily, putting it to his chest as if you expect him to take it.
but instead he grabs your wrist, the empanada falling out of your hand and he yanks you closer, absolutely staring into your soul.
"don't want it." he says in a low voice and tilts his head, leaning closer and he... sniffs?
your eyes widen and you feel his breath behind your ear as he smelled you.
"help me." he whispers, his tone making you wanna get on your knees right then and there.
"with what?" you say trying to keep your voice less shaky than before.
"what season is it cariño?" he mumbles, his other hand moving around you to the small of your back as his other hand keeps hold of both of your wrists.
"summer?" your tone is confused and he sniffs the crook of your neck.
"breeding. breeding season." he grumbled. oh. he was rutting. it all made sense now, the behavior change, humping his desk, smelling you, you must've forgotten he was 50% spider. but now it made sense and you were horny just from watching him for those 15 seconds of the humping so how could you say no?
"what if we get caught?" he took that as a yes, immediately biting slightly into your neck and ripping the crotch out of your spider suit.
"h-hey!" you said and he got on his knees, ignoring you and pulling your legs apart as he stuck his tongue in between your folds.
you almost fell backwards, and he held you by the waist and aggressively moved you over to the wall, pressing you back against it and he pulled your legs over his shoulders and stayed on his knees. his tongue desperately lapping at your clit, sucking and slobbering all over your already wet pussy.
"you're gonna be so good to my cock." he mumbled into you, the vibrations making you whimper and put your hands in his hair.
his hands clawed into your thighs, digging into the skin slightly and the longer he desperately ate you out, the tighter the familiar knot got in your stomach.
"f-fuck Miguel I'm gonna-" damn it.
the knot painfully faded away, Miguel had already stood you back up and was cleaning his face off with his tongue after denying you to cum.
"you're here for ME hermosa." he hissed, grabbing your chin and hunching over you.
you just nodded, and he turned you around and pushed you against the wall
he buried his face into your neck, inhaling your scent.
then he pulled down the neck of your spider suit, revealing your skin and he licked from the crook of your neck to the back of your ear.
your eyes widened and you looked at him, his eyes were closed and his face was flushed but still buried into your skin.
it was... cute. but that cute thought immediately was yeeted to another side of your head when he opened his eyes and grabbed you, hoisting you over his shoulder and he walked back to his platform and slammed you onto the desk.
before you could even say anything his suit dissipated, revealing his toned body and muscles which were even hotter underneath the suit but further down, two rock-hard (at least 10 inch) dicks were staring right at you.
"I'm gonna fuckin ruin you." he growled, grabbing your chin and making you look up at him.
"tw- how- huh?" you couldn't even get the words out, looking down at his monster cocks.
he rolled his eyes and squoze your chin harder
"it's a defect. 50% spider dna. remember? spiders have two reproductive organs, so I get two dicks." he snapped
you looked up at him, wide eyed and you didn't even know how he was gonna fuck you.
"and you're gonna take it like the whore you are."
you didn't know what to say, but the thought of two dicks absolutely ruining you like that sounded like the best thing ever.
you nodded, and he flipped you onto your stomach and positioned himself behind you, arching your back with one arm under your hips and the other arm around your neck with his face in your shoulder.
you whimpered, the two heads of his cocks poking against your entrance and your anus.
he stuck his fingers in your mouth, still not putting his dick in.
"suck." he commanded, and you wrapped your tongue around his thick fingers and started sucking.
the position was uncomfortable, bent like a pretzel but that's how he liked it. that's how you liked it.
without warning, he bottomed out. a loud squelch followed by a shriek from you and a groan from him entering the air.
you squeeze your eyes shut, your hand reaching up and grabbing onto his arm that was around your neck.
"god you're so tight..." he groaned, thrusting in and out without giving you time to even adjust to the monster cocks filling both of your holes.
"you were made for me. you're my whore." he whispered in your ear, licking your jaw as he thrusted mercilessly into your holes.
you moaned loudly, your hand clawing at his arm and your mouth sucking harder on his fingers.
the sounds of skin slapping, squelching, groaning, whimpering, and moaning were the only things you could hear. the occasional degrading things or sweet nothings Miguel would whisper into your ear made your brain go foggy.
you could feel him everywhere. he was all over you, and inside you. you swore you could feel every single vein on both of his cocks.
next thing you knew you'd came 4 times and he had 3. he was a whimpering mess, biting your shoulder and fucking you at the same relentless pace as he was before even if the overstimulation was killing him.
"I'm gonna get you so fucking pregnant baby.." he whimpered, squeezing his eyes shut and biting into your neck.
"you wanna have my kids? Yeah baby?" he cooed, even if he knew you couldn't answer.
your jaw was slack, eyes rolled into the back of your head and your pussy and anus still milked his cock for more cum.
"mm you're so good to me cariño." he muttered, both of your guys cum dripping out of your holes.
"so so so good. God I love this pussy... I'm gonna make you a mama and use you like a whore everyday." he ranted, his face red and his eyebrows scrunched in concentration of cumming just one more time.
his hips stuttered, his pace faltering and it was a familiar thing by now.
"fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck-" then his 4th load of warm seed was shot into your holes, making you moan and he pulled out with a squelch.
he collapsed onto you, his arm slipping out from underneath your hips and out from around your neck and the only sound you could hear now was his soft breathing.
you'd thought you'd died, the white stars fading away from your vision and you laid your head on the table.
"fuck..." you sighed, and he slowly sat up and covered himself with his suit.
"I'll make note to call you next time." he muttered, helping you off of the table and he just tossed you a tissue.
you stood up, cleaning yourself off with the tissue but with the amount of cum coming out of you it wasn't enough and you could barely even stand.
he looked at you, then walked past you to his holographic screens.
"take a plan b." he said without even looking at you.
"um... okay."
"and I'll have Lyla make you a new suit."
you nodded, then left and got in the elevator. hoping that you would be able to run fast enough so nobody saw your ass and pussy hanging out, but the idea wasn't that bad, leaving the empanada long gone and forgotten about, cold in it's box.

eddie munson x cheerleader/popular reader, where the reader keeps asking eddie out on a date but he keeps rejecting them because why would a popular person want to be with him. Anyways, maybe something happened that made him realize that he believes them and would like to go out with them.
I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it. Thank you for requesting đ«¶đ»
Asking me out?
Y/N recently grew a crush on Eddie, the town's freak. She never saw something in him before, but all it took was one moment for it to change.
It was a Friday night and she was freezing her ass off on the field. But a big fake smile plastered on her face as she did the cheers. She let her eyes wander as the game played, and then she saw Eddie. He stood off to the side smoking a cigarette, she was surprised he wasn't asked to leave. He had one hand in his pocket and his hair was covered with a black beanie. He must have felt her stare because he looked in her direction.
She froze as she couldn't look away, his eyes kept her in a daze. His eyes warmed up her body and she felt her face burn when he winked.
That was all it took, that night she dreamed about it and woke up with the biggest crush she's ever had.
When Monday rolled around she had a skip in her step. She wanted to ask Eddie out, she knew she'd sound crazy with it coming out of nowhere but who cares.
She found him at lunch and walked over to his table. A big smile on her face as she stood in front of him. He was so cute that it made her want to giggle for years. She was shocked that the girls didn't see how attractive he was.
"Can I talk to you?"
His table went silent
Eddie looked at her confused
"Me?" he asked, pointing to himself, her eyes never left him so it was clear who she meant. But he had no idea why.
She grabbed his hand and lifted him from the chair, he looked over at his friends as she pulled him into the hallway. She dropped his hand and turned around to face him
"I'm Y/N," she said as she smiled
"I know," he said, "I mean! I'm Eddie," he stuttered
"I know," she said with a small wink. Eddie wasn't sure if his heart racing was a good or bad thing.
"I saw you at the football game on Friday, and this might sound very forward, but I think you are insanely attractive and I'd love to go out on a date with you, maybe tonight?"
Eddie felt the need to clean his ears because there was no way Y/N, the prettiest cheerleader, asked him out. He stared at her like she had multiple heads, and he had a feeling it coming out of nowhere was a trap. He would love to say "hell yes" but he was tired of being burned by people.
"I can't tonight, I have to babysit," he lied
"That's okay, how about tomorrow?" she asked
"I babysit all week and the weekend. You know, parents have kids but never want to take care of them," he nervously laughed
Y/N felt blown off and had a bad feeling he was lying. She was disappointed but she shrugged it off.
"Have fun, Eddie. Maybe another time," she spoke quietly, far less enthusiastic than before. And that made Eddie feel like shit.
"Yeah, thanks," he said, watching as her shoulders slumped as she walked back into the cafeteria.
~~~
In case he was telling the truth and had to babysit, she tried again for that "another time."
"Hey Eddie, do you want to get a bite to eat after the game?"
"I have to be home right away, I'm sorry"
And then she tried another time, and another, and another. He always seemed to be busy. But she really liked him and she wanted to try one last time.
Eddie was sitting against the school's building as he waited for Wayne to pick him up, his van decided to not start and left him stranded.
Y/N walked over, standing at his feet.
Eddie looked up as a shadow covered him. There she was, beautiful as ever. She made Eddie nervous and he didn't like to be nervous.
"What are you sitting out here for?" she asked, Eddie could feel his stomach flutter when she smiled.
"Van died so waiting for my ride," he shrugged
"I can give you a ride, and as a thank you for it maybe we could get ice cream?" she offered, more shy each time since she knew he'd say no.
"He's already on his way so you don't have to worry about me," he said as he stood up
"What about just ice cream then? I can pick you up." She kept trying and he kept shutting her down
"I'll probably be in the shop with my van, but once it's fixed I should have some free time, I'll find you."
~~~
Eddie arrived in his van a few days later, and he never talked to her. It hurt to admit, but he was never going to say yes and she had to move on.
He found her eyes and quickly looked away, when he looked again she was gone.
A few days passed and she stopped walking up to him. Sometimes they'd make eye contact, and she'd smile and then look away. Anytime she walked in his direction he held his breath, letting it free when she walked passed him.
He missed talking to her, even if it was always two sentences. He liked having her attention but he was scared of what would come after if he said yes. Would a bucket of water be dumped on him? Was it a bet? Would he find himself shoved in a closet and beaten up?
It was a risk he wasn't willing to take.
~~
Eddie was walking to his campaign when he walked passed the gym and heard his name.
He peeked inside to see Y/N and Chrissy stretching. Eddie was a simple guy so he had to take his time looking at Y/N as she sat in her uniform.
"Are you going to try again?" Chrissy asked, her hand stretched out to her feet
"No," Y/N sighed
"What? But you really like him!" Chrissy gasped
"Chris, it's clear he doesn't like me. I can count the amount of times he said no on two hands. I'm done embarrassing myself. It's a crush, I'll get over it," Y/N shrugged
"Yeah, but you haven't liked a guy in a long time! Are you sure you want to give up?"
"I know you are trying to be a good friend, but you won't change my mind. If he liked me, he would make time work in his apparently busy schedule. I'm probably not his type and that's okay." Y/N explained, mostly trying to make herself feel better.
"You're right, but his loss because I know a ton of single guys who have been asking about you!" Chrissy gushed
Eddie was leaning so far that the door opened and he fell right through. He cussed as he landed on his stomach. The fall caught the girl's attention and he blushed in embarrassment.
"Eddie? Oh my are you okay?" Y/N asked, rushing over
Chrissy was behind her, a look of worry on her face
"I'm good," he said through clenched teeth. He moved to his knees and felt soft hands helping him stand up. Once he was on his feet he wanted to run.
"Were you pushed?" Y/N asked, worried he might have been getting picked on.
Eddie couldn't tell which was less embarrassing
"Uh no, I was eavesdropping, and well karma," he said as he brushed his dirty hands against his jeans. Chrissy nodded and backed away, giving them privacy to talk.
"Oh! So you heard all of that, huh?" Y/N asked, groaning in embarrassment
"Yeah and look I'm sorry I kept rejecting you. I wasn't sure if you were serious or not and I was a little scared," Eddie said
"Scared of what? and why would I be lying?" she asked
"You're popular and I've never had a popular girl take interest in me that wasn't for some type of joke. I figured you were asking me out as a joke or to set me up for something. And I'm sorry for assuming, I didn't know you genuinely like me."
"I can understand that. I hope you know that I'd never do something cruel to anyone. I'm not like that," she explained
"And I believe you. I know I kinda had a million shots to go out with you and I fucked them all up. But can I make it up to you?" he asked, hope in his eyes as she smiled
"Are you asking me out, Eddie?" she teased
"I am," he said as he smiled, "What do you say?"
"I think I'm busy for the whole year, sorry," she said, Eddie stood shocked as she turned around and walked away.
He felt his body slump at the rejection, but he guessed he deserved it. He turned around and headed out of the gym.
He made it down the hall when he heard his name being called, he turned around.
"That's for saying no. But I'd love to go out with you," she said as she walked towards him
"I did deserve that," he laughed but walked towards her, "tonight after practice, we can grab that bite to eat?"
"I'll see you then," she said with a smile. She leaned in and pecked his cheek softly.
Eddie blushed as her lips touched his skin
He watched as she walked back to practice, head in the clouds.

and the crowd is . . . confused ? / ì ìŽíŹ
+ syn. after three years of crushing on popular classmate, sim jaeyun, you finally muster up your courage and decide to confess. but you overhear him fawning over someone who clearly isnât you, are you too late?
â· pairing. sim jaeyun x fem!reader ; mutual pining? tw. miscommunication cursing && 1.8k â fluff + crack â
authorâs notes: never jump to conclusions ladies & gents! also cliffhanger lol sorry, will prob make a pt.2!
âjust do it! i swear i will do it myself if you donât,â you best friend chaewon complicated. she was spread out on the cafeteria lunch table, clearly overreacting in your opinion.
âiâll do it after break, trust trust,â you assured and kept your eyes on the mushy carrots on your plate.
jungwon groaned at your blatant lie, âoh come on! you said that last time!â
she was right. youâve been delaying your confession for about three breaks straight, coming up with a stupid excuse each time.
first it was that the year was an all-time stressful one where your crush was apparently âtoo focused on his studies.â but your friends knew better. especially when they saw jake sim playing video games during bio everyday.
next was that you claimed he was sick and the confession would just âadd stress to his aching pain.â chaewon and jungwon genuinely could not take that one seriously, both overhearing from his friends sunghoon and heeseung that he was just on an extended family trip to jeju island.
most recently, you blamed it on no time! you just never seem to bump into him at school! jungwon stared at you dumbfounded while chaewon turned your head for you to show jake laughing with his friends across the cafeteria.
he looked perfect. the rays of sunlight lightly illuminated his figure as he had that oh-so charming smile. his soft dark hair and bangs slightly hiding his eyes, but not enough for you to miss his sparkling gaze. the loud chatter of the cafeteria was suddenly quieter when all you could hear was his sweet voice laughing.
âhere she goes again,â chaewon sighed, watching her best friend go head over heels this damn boy for the eighth time today.
the school bell snapped you out of your trance, watching as he and his friends got up to leave. before doing so, he grabbed his tray as well his friends, gathering the little wrappers and napkins they all used.
âdudeâyou donât have to do that,â his friend commented, nodding towards the exit.
âyeah, but it doesnât hurt,â jake smiled and quickly finished cleaning up. on his way out, he threw all the trash into the garbage can and piled the trays by the counter, before flashing a grin to the cafeteria ladies who all adored him.
thatâs what you liked about jake the most.
of course he was the most handsome boy youâve ever laid your eyes on. but he was the sweetest too. thatâs how you first met him.
back in freshman year, you were completely lost on the first day, all your middle school friends going to a different high school than you. hugging your textbooks close to your chest and trying to keep a low profile, you wandered the entire school in search of your first class.
where the hell was class d-4?
taking a moment to look at the room number plates, you stood in the middle of the hall. suddenly, four boys or so rushed by you and one of them bumped into your shoulder causing you to lose control of your books.
they fell onto the floor as you rushed to pick them up. you didnât even give the boys another glance as you assumed they were already gone. âso this is how high school isâ you internally grumbled and rolled your eyes.
but when you reached to grab your last textbook, another hand already picked it up. the figure was rising to his feet, you subconsciously followed.
âiâm so sorry about my friends, theyâre playing this stupid game andâïżœïżœ the boy started, but you almost tuned his words out.
you looked at the boy standing in front of you. his shaggy dark hair and awkward stance while holding one of your textbooks. he nervously held the back of his neck and continued explaining his friendsâ antics and apologized.
surprised was an understatement.
ââanyways i apologize on the behalf of my friends and all this,â he softly laughed. you couldnât help but crack a small smile at his rambling, lightening the mood.
âok good youâre laughing!â he noted and let out a sigh of relief. the last thing he wanted to do was make any enemies on the first day of a new high school.
âyeah and i forgive you, donât worry. it wasnât even your fault, i was standing in the middle of the hall,â you replied and looked at where both of you were now standing. it was true, your body was quite literally in the middle where people were trying to pass by.
âi was just trying to find my class,â you continued and looked back at the small post-it on one of your textbooks that read the room number you were in desperate search for.
âoh d-4?â he asked calmy and titled his head to the side like a puppy.
a faint blush painted your face as the boy widened his eyes awaiting your response. he really did look like one of those golden retrievers you would stay up all night looking at on tiktok.
âyeahâŠalgebra?â you hesitated. âyeah yeah ms. parkâs! i have her first period too, câmon thatâs where my friends were going,â he answered enthusiastically and lead the way down the hall.
he walked with your textbook still in his hands and began small talk, introducing himself and asking for your name. the two of you got a little close that year, thanks to the class.
jake would always say hi in the halls and the courtyard, whether he was alone or with his friends. as he got popular when joining the varsity soccer team in sophomore year and gaining more friends, he remained loyal to you in his acknowledgements towards you.
you were surprised when on the first day of senior year, he ran up next to you.
âhey y/n! how was your break?â he exclaimed with such interest. he still had his shaggy dark hair and that puppy-like habit of tilting his head when asking a question.
so if you two were that friendly, why was it so hard to confess your deep-rooted feelings for him? wait, it wasnât.
âyâknow what, iâm going to do it,â you blurted. jungwon and chaewon stopped in the hall, running back to you and holding onto your shoulders.
âi shouldâve recorded thatâfuck!â chaewon shouted, catching the attention of passing by students.
âwait are you serious? like actually? actually!â jungwon repeated and started jumping up and down as if he just asked to be the best man at your wedding or something.
âyes. dead serious. today, after fifth period and before he walks to the field for soccer practice,â you nodded your head and looked straight, determined look in your eyes and all.
âshould i be alarmed that you know his everyday whereabouts?â jungwon muttered.
âwho cares! sheâs finally doing it!â chaewon celebrated and jungwon whispered a âok true,ïżœïżœïżœ getting giddy with her.
âwow i did not think you guys would be this hyped,â you raised your eyebrow at your best friends who were probably happier than you were.
ânow this means we wouldnât have to hear your delusional thoughts anymore!â jungwon exclaimed and raised both his arms in the air. chaewon joined in, âno more stalking and obsessing!â
âoh fuck you guys!â
the entire fifth period, you thought about how you would confess to your crush: jaeyun sim.
writing a love letter? too complicated.
asking him out on the spot? too risky.
texting him? too scaredy-cat.
before you knew it, the bell was ringing and passing period began which meant you had ten minutes to locate and find jake first and quickly tell him your feelings. luckily, there were a couple boys on the soccer team in your class so you just needed to discreetly follow them to the field.
and thatâs exactly what you did. until a familiar figure was only a few steps away from you. you hid behind the bleachers as him and his friends were on the field getting ready.
you took a couple breaths and tried to collect your thoughts. what would you even say? âhey jake! could i talk with you for a second? so basically ive been in love with you since freshmen year whââ
âisnât she so cute!â
the voice you loved so much felt like a betrayal now. you peeped your head above the bleachers to see jake showing his friends something on his phone.
âmuch cuter than mine, bro i swear sheâs the devil,â one of his friends mentioned and leaned in to see the picture.
were they talking aboutâŠgirls?
ânot mineâsheâs an angel, i love her. her birthdayâs next week,â jake smiled fondly, as if he were in love.
your heart shattered at the very sight. not that he was happy, but that he wasâŠwith another girl.
âwhatâs her name?â someone asked, you narrowed your eyes to try to catch a glimpse of the photo but he put his phone in his pocket.
âlayla!â he answered gleefully and laid down on the grass, thinking about his favorite girl.
you bit your lip, turning around and walking away from the field. your chest felt heavy and there was apparent discomfort spreading throughout your body. how could you be so blind?
of course, jaeyun sim would have a girlfriend! after all he was cute, sweet, athletic, smart, and popular! he had you fawning over him for the past three years, but obviously you werenât the only one. did that mean he picked up other girlsâ textbooks and walked them to class? fuck.
defeated, you decided to ditch your sixth period and walked to the parking lot instead. you pulled out your phone, texting the group chat.

â đđźđŠđšđźđ« đđđŹ đđ (đ) !
â pairing; vil schoenheit x ramshackle! reader
â summary; vil's dad thinks you're dating, and comes down to meet you
â notes; here is part 2, part 1 is here. please donate to my kofi or consider commissioning me if you like my work bc im broke and need cash. and know that i am mentally smooching everyone who reblogs my stuff.
â Itâs a bright afternoon at Night Raven College when Eric Venue arrives at Night Raven College unannounced, causing a minor frenzy among students and staff alike. Theyâre starstruck; after all, seeing a famous actor on campus is a rarity, and Eric is surrounded by a crowd of adoring fans as he makes his way to Pomefiore.
â Vil, however, is not thrilled to see him. His fatherâs obviously come here to snoop, and Ericâs wide grin tells Vil thereâs no escaping him today.
â Ever the professional actor, Eric insists heâs just here for a little visit. âCanât a father see his son and stroll around the college campus for a while?â
â Vil reluctantly obliges, but heâs wary. Every time they pass a group of students (many of them gawking and staring and pointing), Eric gives each and every one of them a careful once-over, as if expecting you to magically appear. Vil notices and gives his father a dirty look, but Eric just shrugs, the very picture of innocence.
â Despite Vilâs attempts to keep his father far far away from you, your paths do eventually cross. You run into both father and son as youâre heading down to the cafeteria for lunch, and Ericâs eyes immediately light up with recognition. He strides over before Vil can stop him, extending a hand with a charming smile. âAh, you must be the famous Ramshackle student! Iâm Eric Venue, Vilâs father. Iâve heard quite a bit about you.â
â Youâve seen exactly zero of his movies. Thanks to Ace and Deuce giving you the lowdown, all you know about this guy is that heâs some big star â Leonardo DiCaprio level, maybe? Not that anyone here would know who he is . . .
â Realising that Ericâs waiting for a reply, you quickly recover, shaking his hand with a slightly awkward but friendly smile. âNice to meet you, Mr. Venue.â
â Eric immediately wastes no time in drawing you into a conversation, asking you about your interests, your studies, and â much to Vilâs chagrin â what you think of his son. Heâs so friendly and warm, itâs almost like talking to an old friend, rather than a famous celebrity.
â (The shy tinge to your smile, and the way your voice softens when you talk about Vil doesnât go unnoticed by Eric, and only serves to confirm his suspicions.) Â
â Vil is unnaturally tense through it all, a bow string about to snap. Itâs almost as though heâs debating grabbing his father and making a break for it, public image be dammed. But instead, Vil settles for hovering beside you both, looking mortified and slightly flustered when his father asks you something just a little too personal.
â Finally, Vil manages to pull his father aside, insisting that they should let you get to lunch (Vil makes eyes at you and you take the hint, dutifully acting as though youâre absolutely starving).
â Eric sees right through your little act, but lets you leave with a wave and a laugh, expressing his desire to see you again. Afterwards, Eric turns to Vil with a knowing smile, quietly whispering, âI like them,â like itâs the final stamp of approval for the relationship Vil absolutely refuses to admit heâs in.

Am I just a bet to you?
Pairing: mingi x fabÂĄReader
Sypnosis: Mingi, the schoolâs notorious playboy, has charmed every girl except Y/N, the one who wonât give him the time of day. When his friends San and Hongjoong dare him to make her fall for him in two months, heâs confident itâll be an easy win. But as Y/N proves to be more than a challenge, Mingi starts to question if this bet might cost him more than he bargained for her heart.
Details: towards the end it gets CRAZY and I mean, slut calling. Hair grabbing, choking, gagging, head pushing, praise, degradation, oral giving and receiving. AFTER CAREER Use of the pet names daddy, princess, sir, good girl. BONDAGE! DominantÂĄmingi submissiveÂĄY/N ROUGH sex. But it will ease into that.
Word count: 24.9k
The cafeteria buzzed with noise as Mingi leaned back in his chair, lazily picking at his fries while San and Hongjoong debated the best ways to sneak out of detention.
âIâm telling you,â San said, his voice muffled by a mouthful of food, âthe trick is to fake being sick. Nobody wants to deal with a kid puking in the hallway.â
Hongjoong snorted. âOr you could just not get detention in the first place.â
âWhereâs the fun in that?â San shot back, grinning.
Mingi, tuning out their banter, let his gaze wander around the room until it landed on Y/N sitting with her best friend, Chloe, across the cafeteria. Something about her unbothered attitude caught his attention, and before he could think better of it, he blurted out, âI bet I can make that Y/N girl fall in love with me.â
San froze mid-bite, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Mingi. âNah, no you canât.â
Hongjoong leaned forward, a slow grin spreading across his face. âIf you think you can, prove it. Two months. Make her fall for you.â
Mingi smirked, already accepting the challenge in his mind. âTwo months? Easy.â
San shook his head. âYouâre gonna crash and burn, man.â
âWatch me,â Mingi said confidently, but as Y/N laughed at something Chloe said across the room, for the first time, he wondered if this might not be as easy as he thought.
âAlright, two months,â Hongjoong said, leaning back with a sly grin. âBut letâs make it interesting. If you win, San and I buy your lunch for the rest of the year. If you lose, youâre buying ours.â
âDeal,â Mingi said without hesitation, his smirk unwavering.
San shook his head, clearly unconvinced. âYou donât even know anything about her. Sheâs not like the other girls youâve messed with. Sheâs⊠I donât know, different.â
âDifferent how?â Mingi asked, leaning forward with mock curiosity.
âSheâs smart, for one,â San said, emphasizing the word. âAnd sheâs not interested in guys like you. She doesnât care about status or charm. Youâre not her type.â
Mingi scoffed. âEveryone has a type, San. They just donât know it until I show them.â
Hongjoong laughed, shaking his head. âYouâre so full of yourself, itâs almost impressive.â
As they spoke, Y/N got up from her table with Chloe, walking past them on the way to the trash cans. She didnât spare Mingi a glance, completely unaware of the wager she had just become the centerpiece of.
San nudged Mingi. âThere she goes. Better start planning, Casanova.â
Mingi watched her walk away, a challenge flashing in his eyes. âOh, I donât need a plan. Just watch she wonât even know what hit her.â
Meanwhile, across the cafeteria, Chloe rolled her eyes as Y/N recounted her frustration with the latest group project in history class.
âHeâs so annoying,â Y/N said, dropping her tray into the bin. âItâs like heâs trying to be the loudest person in the room every time weâre in class.â
Chloe followed, smirking. âLet me guess: Mingi?â
Y/N groaned. âWho else? He thinks heâs Godâs gift to the school.â
Chloe shrugged. âTo be fair, a lot of people seem to agree.â
âWell, not me,â Y/N said firmly. âI canât stand guys like him.â
Chloe grinned knowingly but said nothing, falling into step beside her. âLetâs see how long that lasts,â she muttered under her breath.
âWhat?â Y/N asked, glancing at her.
âNothing,â Chloe said with an innocent smile.
After school, Mingi stood by the lockers, scrolling through his phone while waiting for San and Hongjoong. His eyes darted up when he saw Y/N walking down the hallway, books tucked under her arm, Chloe beside her.
âShowtime,â Mingi muttered under his breath.
San and Hongjoong appeared out of nowhere, flanking him like bodyguards. âYouâre really going for it now?â San asked, eyeing Y/N warily.
âWhy not?â Mingi smirked, stuffing his phone in his pocket. âTime to work my magic.â
As Y/N and Chloe approached, Mingi stepped into their path, his trademark grin firmly in place.
âY/N, right?â he said casually, leaning against the lockers like he had all the time in the world.
Y/N stopped, her brow furrowing as she glanced at Chloe before looking back at him. âYeah⊠and youâre Mingi.â
âWow, she knows me already,â he teased, his voice dripping with charm. âIâm flattered.â
Y/Nâs expression didnât budge. âYouâre loud. Itâs hard not to know who you are.â
Chloe snickered softly, trying to hide her amusement.
Mingiâs grin didnât falter. âFair enough. But I figured itâs about time we actually talk. You know, get to know each other.â
Y/N raised an eyebrow. âWhy?â
âWhy not?â Mingi shot back smoothly. âYou seem interesting. Different.â
Y/N crossed her arms, her tone flat. âIâm not interested in being another girl on your list, if thatâs what youâre aiming for.â
The comment caught him off guard for a second, but he quickly recovered, his smirk returning. âWho said youâre on a list? Iâm just trying to be friendly.â
âRight,â Y/N said, her voice laced with sarcasm. âWell, thanks for the⊠friendly effort, but Iâm good.â
With that, she stepped around him, Chloe following closely, though she glanced back at Mingi with an amused look.
San let out a low whistle. âOuch. That didnât go as planned.â
Hongjoong clapped Mingi on the back, grinning. âGuess youâre not as smooth as you thought.â
Mingi watched Y/N disappear down the hallway, determination sparking in his eyes. âThis is just the beginning,â he said, more to himself than to them. âSheâll come around. They always do.â
Meanwhile, as Y/N and Chloe walked outside, Chloe couldnât hold back anymore. âThat was hilarious. Did you see his face?â
Y/N sighed. âI donât get why heâs wasting his time on me. He has literally every other girl throwing themselves at him.â
Chloe shrugged. âMaybe he likes the chase. Or maybe heâs just bored.â
âWell, he can stay bored,â Y/N muttered. âIâm not playing his game.â
Chloe smirked, nudging her. âWeâll see about that.â
Y/N and Chloe walked side by side on the way home, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows on the pavement. Chloe twirled her water bottle idly, breaking the comfortable silence.
âSo⊠whatâs your deal with guys?â Chloe asked casually.
Y/N gave her a sideways glance. âWhat do you mean?â
âI mean, every time a guy so much as says hi to you, you shut him down like theyâre trying to sell you something. Whatâs up with that?â Chloe asked, a playful but curious tone in her voice.
Y/N sighed, shifting her books in her arms. âItâs not like that. I just donât have the energy for all the drama that comes with it. Guys like Mingi? Theyâre all the same charming until they get what they want, and then they move on. Why waste my time?â
Chloe raised an eyebrow. âYou sound like youâve been burned before.â
âIâve seen it happen to too many people,â Y/N replied, her voice firm. âIf a guy really wants to know me, heâs going to have to prove heâs not just playing around.â
Chloe nodded slowly. âFair enough. But what if someoneâs actually serious about you? Would you give them a chance?â
Y/N hesitated, her steps slowing. âMaybe. But Iâm not holding my breath. Itâs easier to focus on things I can control, you know?â
Chloe grinned. âWell, if nothing else, watching you deal with Mingi is going to be my new favorite pastime.â
Y/N groaned. âDonât encourage him. Heâs probably already planning his next move.â
The next day, Y/N walked into school, her earbuds in and her focus on her playlist. She didnât notice Mingi waiting near her locker until he stepped into her path.
âMorning, sunshine,â Mingi greeted, his grin as bright as ever.
Y/N pulled out an earbud, staring at him. âWhat do you want now?â
âJust wanted to say hi,â he said, leaning casually against the locker next to hers. âAnd maybe see if youâd like to grab coffee after school.â
Y/N blinked, genuinely surprised. âYouâre kidding.â
âNope. Iâm dead serious,â Mingi said, holding a hand to his chest like he was pledging allegiance.
She scoffed, opening her locker. âWhy would I do that?â
âBecause Iâm persistent?â he offered, his tone light. âAnd because Iâm actually interested in getting to know you.â
Y/N pulled out a notebook and turned to him, unimpressed. âYou donât even know my favorite color.â
Mingi didnât miss a beat. âBlue. Or maybe green. Something calm, but with a little edge.â
She raised an eyebrow, surprised heâd even try. âWrong. Itâs purple.â
âNoted,â Mingi said, nodding solemnly. âSee? Iâm learning already.â
âNot fast enough,â Y/N muttered, slamming her locker shut. âLook, Mingi, I donât know what you think this is, but itâs not going to work. Save yourself the trouble.â
As she walked away, Mingi called after her, âI like a challenge!â
Chloe, who had been watching from nearby, walked up to Mingi, shaking her head with a smirk. âYouâre really going all out, arenât you?â
Mingi shrugged, unbothered. âSheâll come around. They always do.â
Chloe crossed her arms, giving him a pointed look. âY/Nâs not like âthey,â and you know it. If you really want her to take you seriously, maybe try being genuine for once.â
Mingi raised an eyebrow. âWhat makes you think Iâm not?â
Chloe laughed softly. âBecause Iâve seen your track record, and so has she. You want advice? Donât try to outsmart her. Sheâs smarter than you think.â
With that, Chloe turned and walked toward Y/N, leaving Mingi standing alone by the lockers. For the first time, his confidence wavered just slightly. Maybe Chloe was right maybe he needed to switch up his game.
That evening, Mingi lay sprawled on his bed, the glow of his bedside lamp casting soft shadows on the walls. His phone rested on his chest, notifications piling up from girls who were all too eager to talk to him. Yet, for once, he didnât care.
His mind was somewhere else on Y/N.
âWhatâs her deal?â he muttered to himself, tossing his phone onto the nightstand. âSheâs not even trying to play hard to get. She just doesnât care.â
It was⊠unsettling. He was used to his charm working instantly, but Y/N hadnât even flinched. In fact, sheâd made him feel like the one chasing her and that was new.
Mingi sat up, rubbing the back of his neck as his thoughts spiraled. He replayed every word sheâd said earlier: the sharpness in her tone, the way sheâd brushed him off like he was nothing. It wasnât just rejection it was indifference.
âOkay, think,â he said aloud, grabbing a notebook from his desk. âWhatâs the next move?â
Flipping open the pages, he started jotting down ideas:
1. Find out what she likes â Chloe said sheâs smart. Maybe books? Music?
2. Stop being predictable â She clearly sees me as some player. Prove Iâm more than that.
3. Show genuine interest â No games, no big gestures. Just⊠be real?
Mingi stared at the last note, his pen hovering above the page. Be real? He wasnât sure he even knew how to do that. His whole persona was built on confidence, on knowing exactly what to say and when to say it. Could he really strip all of that away?
He leaned back in his chair, spinning the pen in his fingers. âIf sheâs different, maybe I have to be different, too.â
For the first time in a long while, Mingi felt a pang of uncertainty. He didnât know if this was a challenge he could win, but he wasnât about to back down.
A knock on his door snapped him out of his thoughts.
âMingi, dinnerâs ready,â his mom called from the hallway.
âComing,â he replied, closing the notebook and tossing it onto his desk.
As he headed downstairs, one thought lingered in his mind: if Y/N wanted him to be real, then real was what sheâd get.
The next morning, Mingi arrived at school with a new strategy in mind. He wasnât going to overwhelm Y/N with grand gestures or cheesy pick-up lines. No, this time heâd take it slow, chip away at her walls bit by bit.
He spotted her at her locker, pulling books out for her first class. As usual, Chloe stood nearby, chatting animatedly. Mingi took a deep breath and approached, plastering on his most casual smile.
âMorning, Y/N,â he said, his tone softer than usual.
Y/N glanced at him briefly, then returned her attention to her locker. âHi.â
Chloe raised an eyebrow at Mingi but said nothing, clearly waiting to see what heâd do next.
âNeed help carrying those?â he offered, motioning to the stack of books in her arms.
Y/N shut her locker and turned to him with a deadpan look. âNo, thanks. Iâve been managing just fine on my own.â
Mingi nodded, undeterred. âFair enough. Just thought Iâd ask. So, whatâs on the agenda today? Anything exciting?â
Y/N started walking toward her class, and Mingi fell into step beside her. âNot really. Why do you care?â
He shrugged. âTrying to get to know you. Isnât that what people do?â
Y/N sighed, clearly exasperated. âLook, Mingi, I donât know what youâre trying to prove, but you can stop. Iâm not interested.â
Chloe trailed behind them, suppressing a grin as Mingi simply smiled and said, âNoted. But Iâm still not giving up.â
For the next two weeks, Mingi kept his word. Every day, he found subtle ways to get Y/Nâs attention asking her opinion on random topics during lunch, joining her group in gym class, and even sitting near her in the library. He didnât push too hard, but he was always there, persistent and consistent.
At first, Y/N barely acknowledged him. She rolled her eyes at his jokes, ignored his questions when she could, and even told him outright that he was wasting his time. But Mingi didnât waver.
One day after school, Y/N sat in the library with Chloe, trying to finish an essay. Mingi wandered in, holding a coffee cup in one hand and a book in the other.
âHey,â he said, sliding the cup onto the table in front of her.
Y/N looked up, confused. âWhatâs this?â
âBlack coffee,â Mingi replied with a shrug. âThought you could use it. You look like youâve been here for hours.â
Chloe stifled a laugh as Y/N narrowed her eyes at him. âWhat makes you think I like black coffee?â
âYou seem like the no-sugar type,â he said confidently.
Y/N hesitated, then took a tentative sip. It was perfect. She hated that he got it right.
âThanks,â she mumbled, turning back to her work.
Mingi didnât stay, and for the first time, Y/N found herself thinking about him long after heâd left.
By the end of the second week, Y/N finally gave in. As she walked out of school with Chloe, she spotted Mingi leaning against the gate, his usual grin in place.
âWhat now?â she asked, stopping in front of him.
Mingi held up his hands in mock surrender. âRelax, Iâm not here to bother you. Just thought Iâd ask if you want to grab some dinner or something. Itâs been a couple of weeks, and Iâd say weâve made progress, donât you think?â
Y/N narrowed her eyes, trying to hide the fact that she was intrigued. âWhat are you really trying to do, Mingi?â
He shrugged, looking completely at ease. âIâm just trying to get you to see that Iâm not like the other guys. Not everyoneâs out for something. I just thought maybe youâd give me a chance to prove that.â
Y/N glanced at Chloe, who was quietly watching the interaction with a knowing look in her eyes. Chloe leaned in slightly, whispering just loud enough for Y/N to hear, âYou know, heâs been trying. Maybe it wouldnât hurt to give him a shot.â
Y/N hesitated. She hadnât expected Mingi to be this persistent, or this⊠genuine, in his own way. The truth was, a part of her was curious.
âFine,â she said after a long pause. âBut only because youâve been so obnoxious about it for two weeks.â
Mingiâs grin widened. âDeal. Iâll pick you up at six.â
As Y/N walked away with Chloe, she couldnât help but feel a strange mix of excitement and reluctance. This could end up being one big mistake or maybe, just maybe, it was the start of something unexpected.
That evening, Mingi pulled up to Y/Nâs house in his car, his heart beating a little faster than usual. He wasnât used to feeling this nervous, but this wasnât like the other dates heâd been on. This wasnât some game at least, not anymore. He had to prove he was serious.
When Y/N stepped outside, dressed casually but effortlessly put-together, Mingiâs breath caught in his throat. She was different from anyone heâd ever had to chase, and for the first time, he felt unsure of himself.
âHey,â she said as she slid into the passenger seat, offering a small but genuine smile.
âHey,â Mingi replied, his voice uncharacteristically softer than usual. âYou look great.â
âThanks,â Y/N responded with a slight shrug, settling into the seat. âIâm just hoping this dinner isnât going to be some disaster.â
Mingi laughed, trying to ease the tension in the air. âI promise itâs not a setup for some awful prank.â
âI wasnât worried about that,â she said dryly, glancing over at him. âI just donât know why you keep insisting on hanging out. Youâve been pretty persistent.â
âWell,â Mingi said as he started the car, âmaybe I like a challenge. And maybe I think youâre⊠worth the effort.â
Y/N raised an eyebrow but didnât respond. She was still guarded, and Mingi could feel the distance between them, though he was determined to close it.
They arrived at a cozy little café a few minutes later, a place far away from the prying eyes of their schoolmates. It was quiet, with dim lighting and a peaceful atmosphere nothing like the bustling hangout spots Mingi usually frequented.
As they walked inside, Mingi held the door open for her, and they took a seat at a small corner booth. He could feel her watching him, studying him, as if she was waiting for him to slip up.
âSo, what made you choose this place?â Y/N asked, looking around the cafĂ© with a slight tilt of her head.
âI thought you might like something⊠low-key,â Mingi said, leaning back in his seat. âIâm not all about loud clubs and parties. Sometimes I want a little peace and quiet too.â
Y/N blinked, surprised by his honesty. âHuh. Guess I didnât expect that from you.â
âI guess thatâs the point,â he said with a slight smirk. âIâm full of surprises.â
They fell into an easy silence as the waitress came to take their orders. Once she left, Y/N leaned forward slightly, her curiosity piqued.
âSo, whatâs the deal with you, Mingi? Youâre like⊠the guy everyone knows but no one really knows, you know?â
Mingi paused, the question catching him off guard. For a moment, he wondered if this was just a roundabout way of asking about his past relationships.
âI guess Iâm just⊠living in the moment,â he said after a beat, looking down at his hands. âNot really thinking too much about the future.â
Y/N watched him carefully. âAnd do you ever think about the future? Or is it just one person after another?â
Mingi looked up at her, his expression slightly more serious than before. âI donât know,â he said quietly. âMaybe Iâve been trying to keep things light because Iâm not sure how to handle real feelings. I know itâs easier to just keep moving than to deal with the mess that is emotions.â
Y/N blinked, taken aback by his vulnerability. She had expected him to brush it off, but there he was, opening up to her in a way she hadnât anticipated.
âI get that,â she said softly. âSometimes itâs easier to stay detached. But eventually, that catches up with you, right?â
Mingi nodded slowly. âYeah. I guess it does.â
They sat in silence for a few moments, letting the conversation settle before their food arrived. Mingi tried to keep the mood light as they ate, cracking jokes here and there, but he noticed Y/Nâs walls slowly coming down. She was still guarded, but she wasnât shutting him out as much as she had before.
After a while, Y/N looked at him with a small smile. âYou know, I didnât think Iâd actually have a good time tonight.â
Mingiâs heart skipped a beat. âSo, does this mean Iâve earned a little bit of your trust?â
She hesitated, then nodded. âMaybe. Youâve been surprising me, Mingi. I didnât think you could actually have a conversation without it feeling like some game.â
âWell, I can be serious when I want to be,â Mingi said, leaning in slightly. âAnd Iâm starting to think I might want to be serious with you.â
Y/N stared at him, her eyes searching his face for any signs of his usual arrogance or playboy charm. But all she saw was sincerity, and for the first time, she allowed herself to soften.
âOkay,â she said after a long pause, her voice quieter now. âIâll admit, I didnât expect this from you. But⊠Iâm still not convinced this is all real.â
Mingi reached across the table, gently brushing his fingers against hers. âGive me a chance to prove it.â
Y/N looked down at their hands, the gesture surprisingly gentle. She had always thought of Mingi as someone who only cared about getting what he wanted, but now she wasnât so sure.
âIâll think about it,â she said, looking back up at him. âBut youâre not getting off that easy.â
Mingi grinned. âWouldnât dream of it.â
As they finished their meal, the air between them had shifted. It was no longer about playing games or pretending. For the first time, they were both being honest with each other and that felt like the beginning of something real.
Two weeks had passed since Mingiâs dinner with Y/N, and things were⊠different. A lot had changed, but not in the way heâd expected. Sure, he was still pursuing her, but now it wasnât just about winning the bet. There was something more to it, something that made his usual confidence feel more like a subtle uncertainty. Heâd actually begun to care about what Y/N thought.
But tonight, Mingi sat with San and Hongjoong, the two of them eagerly waiting to hear about his progress. It was time to talk about the bet.
âSo, howâs it going, bro?â Hongjoong asked, a teasing glint in his eye. âYou sure youâve got this in the bag?â
Mingi leaned back in his chair, his usual cocky smile making a reappearance. âOh, yeah. Itâs going smoothly. Sheâs softening up. Sheâs definitely starting to like meprobably more than she realizes.â
San raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. âYouâre sure? Youâre not, like, falling for her or anything, right? Because I remember you saying it was just a bet.â
Mingi paused at Sanâs words, a strange discomfort settling in his chest. He quickly shook it off. âNah, Iâm not falling for her. Itâs all part of the plan. Sheâs just⊠getting used to me. And Iâm playing it smart. Itâs not like Iâm putting all my eggs in one basket.â
Hongjoong leaned in, smirking. âYouâre starting to sound a little defensive. You sure youâre not starting to care?â
Mingiâs gaze flickered for a moment, his thoughts betraying him. He quickly cleared his throat and forced a laugh. âNah, you guys know Iâm all about winning. I just like to keep things interesting, you know?â
San and Hongjoong exchanged a look, both silently processing what theyâd just heard.
âSo, whatâs the plan now?â Hongjoong asked, eager to hear what Mingi would do next.
Mingi grinned, tapping his fingers on the table. âNext step? Iâm taking her out again this weekend. Iâve been keeping things casual no pressure, just a little fun. Sheâs definitely starting to let her guard down. The more time I spend with her, the more she opens up.â
San leaned back, looking skeptical. âJust be careful, Mingi. Youâre playing a dangerous game. You canât mess around with someone like Y/N for too long without catching feelings.â
Mingiâs eyes narrowed. âI told you, Iâm not falling for her. Iâve got this under control. Just watch.â
Hongjoong gave a knowing smile. âWell, if you say so. But donât forget, a betâs a bet. You better be careful not to get too caught up in the process. Youâll end up playing yourself.â
Mingi grinned, though it was a little more strained than usual. âNah, trust me. I know what Iâm doing. This is just a game, and Iâm always winning.â
Over the next few days, Mingiâs interactions with Y/N grew increasingly familiar. They started talking more, spending time together in and out of school sometimes at the cafĂ©, sometimes just hanging out at the park. Every conversation felt easier, more comfortable. And yet, with each passing day, Mingi found himself questioning how much of it was part of the plan and how much was because he genuinely wanted to be around her.
As much as he told himself he was just playing the game, there was something about the way Y/N smiled when they talked, the way her eyes softened when she spoke to him, that made his heart beat a little faster. And for the first time, Mingi wasnât sure if he was winning the bet or if he was just losing himself in the process.
But for now, he pushed those thoughts aside. The bet was still on. And in his mind, winning was all that mattered.
It had been one month and two weeks since Mingi and Y/N started hanging out, and the connection between them had evolved in ways neither of them expected. Their usual banter was still there, but now it was accompanied by something deeper something unspoken but undeniable.
This time, Mingi had invited Y/N to a cherry blossom field, the perfect place for a quiet afternoon picnic away from the noise of school and the eyes of others. The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden light over the sea of pink petals that surrounded them. The air smelled fresh, and the gentle breeze made the blossoms sway, scattering petals like confetti around them.
They were seated on a blanket, surrounded by sandwiches, fruit, and iced tea, but neither of them were really paying attention to the food. Instead, they were lost in conversation genuine, easy, and comfortable in a way neither of them had anticipated.
âSo, tell me,â Y/N said, a playful glint in her eyes, âwhatâs the most ridiculous thing youâve ever done to impress someone?â
Mingi laughed, leaning back on his hands. âOh, thatâs a long list. Probably the time I spent a ridiculous amount of money on a concert ticket just to impress some girl who didnât even end up going.â He shrugged nonchalantly, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice. âLesson learned donât try too hard.â
Y/N smirked. âSeems like youâve learned a few things the hard way, huh?â
Mingi grinned, his eyes locking with hers for a brief moment. âYeah, but I think thatâs how you get better at this whole⊠âlifeâ thing.â
The conversation shifted to lighter topics favorite books, weird childhood stories, random facts theyâd both learned. Each topic was a little more personal, a little more revealing. Y/N found herself laughing more than she had in a while, and Mingi couldnât help but admire the way she smiled, the way she made everything feel so natural.
At some point, the chatter died down, and they both sat in a comfortable silence, watching the petals float through the air. The sun was setting now, casting a soft glow over everything, and the world felt as if it had slowed down just for them.
Without realizing it, they had shifted closer to each other on the blanket. Y/N was now sitting with her legs crossed, facing Mingi, their knees almost touching. The closeness felt different from anything they had shared before, and for a brief moment, Mingiâs heart raced in a way it never had during their hangouts. He had spent so much time trying to impress her, trying to win her over, but now, in this quiet, peaceful space, he realized he didnât need to do anything.
Y/N, too, noticed the change in the air between them. Her pulse quickened as she met his gaze, the space between them closing slowly, almost naturally. For a moment, she thought about pulling away, about asking if this was a bad idea but something in Mingiâs eyes told her he was just as unsure, just as tentative.
Then, without thinking, she reached out, gently brushing her hand against his. It was a subtle gesture, but the impact was immediate. Mingiâs breath hitched, his gaze dropping to where their hands were connected, and then slowly, he met her eyes again.
The world seemed to blur around them, the noise of everything else fading away. It was just the two of them, the cherry blossoms, and the beating of their hearts.
Mingi leaned in first, drawn by something he couldnât name, something that had been building between them for weeks. Y/Nâs breath caught as their faces grew closer, the tension thickening. There was no going back now.
And then, without a word, their lips met in a soft, tentative kiss. It was slow at first, gentle, as if neither of them wanted to break the fragile moment they had created. Mingiâs hand moved to cup her face, his thumb brushing her cheek as he deepened the kiss just slightly, testing the waters.
Y/N responded in kind, her hand moving to his chest as the kiss grew more urgent, more needy. Her heart raced as the feeling of Mingiâs lips on hers felt so right, so real, and yet so unexpected.
When they finally pulled away, they were both breathless, their foreheads resting against each other, eyes closed as they tried to collect themselves.
âI didnât plan on that,â Y/N whispered, her voice shaking slightly, the words feeling like an admission of something she hadnât fully realized until now.
Mingiâs lips quirked into a small, soft smile, his thumb still brushing her cheek. âMe neither,â he murmured, his voice low and sincere.
For a few seconds, neither of them spoke. The moment felt too precious, too delicate to break with words. They were still so close, the space between them charged with something neither of them could deny anymore.
âI think I should take you out more often,â Mingi said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, his eyes searching hers.
Y/N chuckled, though it was a little nervous, her heart still pounding in her chest. âYeah, I think you should.â
And for the first time, there were no games, no pretense. Only the two of them, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the cherry blossoms, and a kiss that neither of them would ever forget.
After the kiss, the world around them felt suspended in time. Neither of them rushed to speak, neither of them pulled away. Instead, they simply existed in the moment, their breaths steady and soft as they let the stillness of the cherry blossom field surround them.
Y/N shifted slightly, tilting her head until it gently rested against Mingiâs shoulder. He tensed for a brief second, but then, as if it was the most natural thing in the world, he relaxed and let her settle closer to him. Her hair was soft against his arm, and for a moment, the world seemed to be just the two of them, a peaceful calm settling over them both.
The sun hung low in the sky, its warm golden light casting a soft glow over the field. The cherry blossoms swayed in the breeze, their petals drifting lazily to the ground, like a slow, natural dance. The sound of distant birds and the rustling of leaves in the wind filled the silence, but it wasnât uncomfortable. It was the kind of silence that spoke volumes, that told them everything didnât have to be said out loud to feel real.
Mingi glanced down at Y/N, her eyes closed as she leaned against him, her face soft and peaceful. He felt something stir inside him something that wasnât just the thrill of the bet or the challenge anymore. He couldnât pinpoint it exactly, but there was a warmth in his chest that made him want to protect this moment, to keep it frozen in time.
For a while, they just watched the sunset together, neither of them feeling the need to fill the silence with words. The sky had turned from soft orange to pink, and then to a deep purple as the sun slowly sank below the horizon. It was beautiful quiet, simple, and perfect in a way that neither of them had anticipated.
âThis is nice,â Y/N murmured, breaking the stillness just enough for Mingi to hear her. Her voice was soft, as if she didnât want to disturb the peace theyâd found.
Mingi smiled, his gaze still on the sunset. âYeah, it is.â He hesitated for a moment, then added, âIâm glad you came with me today.â
Y/N smiled to herself, not opening her eyes, but feeling the sincerity in his words. âIâm glad I came too.â
They fell silent again, the gentle evening breeze wrapping around them, the air cool but not uncomfortable. As the last rays of sunlight disappeared behind the horizon, Mingi couldnât help but feel a strange sense of contentment.
For so long, heâd lived his life in motion, always chasing the next thing, the next thrill, the next conquest. But here, with Y/Nâs head on his shoulder and the world quietly fading into night, he felt⊠at peace.
And for once, he didnât feel the need to chase anything.
âI think I could get used to this,â Mingi said quietly, his words almost to himself, but loud enough for Y/N to hear.
Y/Nâs lips curved into a soft smile, but she didnât open her eyes. âMe too.â
The night stretched on, but neither of them moved. They stayed there, watching the sky turn darker, the stars beginning to appear, their breaths in sync. And for the first time in a long time, Mingi didnât feel the pressure of the bet, the weight of the game he was playing. He just felt⊠here. With her.
And in that moment, that was enough.
The next day at school, Mingi leaned casually against the lockers, a smug grin spread across his face as he recounted the events of the previous evening to San and Hongjoong. The hallway was busy with students heading to class, the usual noise and chatter filling the air, but Mingiâs voice carried just enough to be heard over the commotion.
âAnd then, we kissed,â Mingi said, his tone confident. âI told you guys Iâd get her to fall for me. Sheâs hooked now. Guess that means I win the bet.â
San raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. âDamn, so you really pulled it off, huh?â
Hongjoong nodded, crossing his arms. âDidnât think youâd make it, honestly. Two months is a long time to stay focused on one girl.â
Mingi shrugged, trying to play it cool, though there was a flicker of something uneasy in his chest. âWhat can I say? Iâm just that good.â
Unbeknownst to them, Y/N had stopped just around the corner, her heart sinking as she heard every word. She had been on her way to meet Chloe, but the sound of Mingiâs voice caught her attention, and curiosity had gotten the better of her. Now, she wished she hadnât listened.
Her chest tightened, and her throat felt dry as the reality of what she was hearing hit her like a ton of bricks. The past few weeks the laughter, the conversations, the kiss under the cherry blossoms it had all been part of a game. A bet.
Her hands clenched into fists as she stepped out from behind the wall.
the corner, her eyes burning with unshed tears. The hallway noise seemed to dull around her, and all she could focus on was Mingiâs smug expression as he laughed with his friends.
âReally?â Y/Nâs voice rang out, sharp and trembling with hurt.
Mingi froze mid laugh, his eyes snapping to her. The color drained from his face as he realized sheâd heard everything. âY/NâŠâ
San and Hongjoong exchanged uneasy glances, both taking a cautious step back as Y/N approached. Her gaze was icy, a mix of betrayal and anger swirling in her eyes.
âSo, this was all just a bet?â Y/Nâs voice cracked slightly, but she didnât falter. âEverything the texts, the hangouts, the cherry blossom field it was all just some stupid game to you?â
Mingi opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He felt like the air had been knocked out of him.
âI canât believe I actually thought you were different,â Y/N continued, her voice growing louder. âI thought youâd changed, that maybe you actually cared about me. But I was wrong.â
âWait, Y/N, let me explainââ Mingi started, stepping toward her, but she shook her head, cutting him off.
âExplain what?â she snapped, her voice trembling with emotion. âThat you tricked me? That you pretended to like me just so you could win a bet? Thereâs nothing to explain, Mingi. I get it now.â
The hallway had grown quieter, students slowing down to watch the scene unfold. Y/Nâs chest heaved as she tried to keep her composure, but the tears sheâd been holding back finally spilled over.
Mingiâs heart sank as he saw the pain in her eyes. This wasnât how it was supposed to go. Somewhere along the way, he had stopped thinking about the bet. Somewhere along the way, he had started to care about her really care.
âY/N, itâs not like that,â Mingi said, his voice softer now, desperate. âIââ
âItâs exactly like that,â Y/N interrupted, her voice breaking. âYou lied to me, Mingi. You made me believe you actually cared, but you donât. You never did.â
She turned on her heel, storming away before he could say another word. Mingi reached out instinctively, but San grabbed his arm, stopping him.
âLet her go, man,â San said quietly.
Mingi stood there, frozen, watching Y/N disappear down the hallway. The weight of what had just happened hit him like a punch to the gut. He had hurt her badly. And for what? A stupid bet?
Hongjoong let out a low whistle, breaking the tense silence. âWell, that just blew up in your face.â
Mingi shot him a glare but didnât say anything. His mind was racing, replaying every moment heâd spent with Y/N over the past few weeks. The sound of her laughter, the way her eyes lit up when she talked about something she loved, the feeling of her head resting on his shoulder under the cherry blossoms.
He didnât just like her. He was in love with her. And now, because of his own stupidity, heâd ruined everything.
âWhat are you gonna do now?â San asked, his voice low, almost cautious.
Mingi ran a hand through his hair, frustration and regret etched across his face. âI donât know,â he muttered. âBut I have to fix this. Somehow.â
For the first time in his life, Mingi wasnât thinking about winning. He wasnât thinking about the bet, or his pride, or his reputation. All he could think about was Y/N and how he might have lost the best thing that had ever happened to him.
Y/N sat on her bed that evening, staring blankly at the wall. Her chest felt heavy, her mind replaying Mingiâs words from earlier that day like a broken record. âI told you guys Iâd get her to fall for me. Sheâs hooked now. Guess that means I win the bet.â
Her stomach churned every time she thought about it. How could she have been so naive? So foolish to think someone like Mingi could genuinely care for her? All those moments they shared, the laughs, the kiss it was all fake. A game to him.
Tears slid down her cheeks, hot and relentless. She thought back to the way Mingi had looked at her yesterday in the cherry blossom field, the way he smiled, the softness in his voice. It all felt so real. But it wasnât. It was a lie.
A soft knock on her bedroom door pulled her from her thoughts. Chloe stepped in, her expression cautious as she held a tray with tea and cookies. âHey,â she said gently, setting the tray on Y/Nâs nightstand. âI thought you might need this.â
Y/N gave her a weak smile, wiping her face. âThanks.â
Chloe sat beside her, her tone careful. âYou donât have to talk about it, but⊠Iâm here if you need me.â
For a moment, Y/N didnât respond. Then, her voice came out in a whisper. âI really thought he cared, Chloe. I thought he was different.â
Chloeâs jaw tightened. âMingiâs an idiot,â she said firmly. âAnd if he thinks he can just waltz back in and fix this, heâs got another thing coming.â
Y/N nodded, her resolve hardening. She wasnât going to let him hurt her again.
The next day at school, Mingi tried to approach her, but Y/N ignored him completely. She walked past him in the hallway as if he didnât exist. When he called out her name, she kept walking, refusing to even glance in his direction.
âY/N, wait! Please, just hear me out!â Mingi pleaded, but she acted as though she couldnât hear him.
This pattern continued for days. No matter where he tried to catch her in the hallways, at lunch, after class she refused to engage. Mingiâs usual confidence was nowhere to be found. His friends noticed it too.
âYou look like a lost puppy,â San said one afternoon, watching Mingi slump into his seat.
Hongjoong raised an eyebrow. âDid you really think apologizing once was going to fix this? You humiliated her, man. Youâve got work to do.â
Mingi sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. âI know. I just⊠I didnât think itâd be this hard to get her to listen to me.â
That evening, Mingi stood outside Y/Nâs house with a bouquet of her favorite flowers in hand. He had been there every night since the incident, each time hoping she might open the door. But each time, she didnât.
He knocked softly, his heart pounding in his chest. When the door opened, his hopes lifted only to see Chloe standing there, arms crossed, glaring at him.
âWhat do you want, Mingi?â she asked flatly.
âIs Y/N home?â he asked, his voice almost pleading. âI just want to talk to her. Please.â
âShe doesnât want to see you,â Chloe said firmly, stepping closer as if to block his view inside. âAnd honestly, can you blame her?â
Mingiâs shoulders slumped, but he didnât leave. âI know I messed up,â he admitted. âI was an idiot, okay? But I⊠I care about her. More than Iâve ever cared about anyone. And I need her to know that.â
Chloeâs expression softened slightly, but she didnât move. âSheâs hurt, Mingi. You need to give her time.â
With that, she closed the door, leaving Mingi standing on the porch, clutching the flowers in defeat.
Days turned into weeks, but Mingi didnât stop trying. Every day, he brought flowers to Y/Nâs house. Every day, he tried to catch her at school. And every day, she ignored him.
One afternoon, as Y/N was walking home, she noticed Mingi waiting for her at the corner of her street. She sighed, her resolve starting to waver as she saw the flowers.
determination in his eyes. He looked tired, his usual confident demeanor replaced with something softer something more vulnerable. In his hands, he held yet another bouquet of flowers, slightly wilted from being carried around all day.
âY/N,â Mingi called out gently, stepping toward her. âPlease. Just give me five minutes.â
She stopped walking, crossing her arms as she stared at him, her gaze guarded. âWhy? So you can feed me more lies?â
âNo,â he said quickly, his voice almost breaking. âI just⊠I need to explain. I know I donât deserve for you to hear me out, but Iâm begging you.â
Y/N hesitated. Part of her wanted to turn around and leave, to keep the walls sheâd built intact. But another part of her the part that remembered the Mingi who sat with her under the cherry blossoms wanted to hear him out.
She sighed and finally said, âYou have five minutes.â
Mingiâs shoulders sagged with relief as he stepped closer, careful not to overstep her boundaries. âThank you,â he murmured. He took a deep breath, then began.
âWhen this all started, I was stupid. I thought it was just a game a challenge. I didnât think about how it might hurt you because I wasnât thinking at all. And I know that makes me a jerk, but somewhere along the way, everything changed.â
Y/N raised an eyebrow, but she didnât interrupt.
Mingi looked down at the flowers in his hands, his voice quieter now. âSpending time with you, getting to know you⊠it stopped being about the bet. I started looking forward to seeing you every day, hearing your voice, learning all the little things that make you⊠you.â
He met her eyes then, his own filled with an earnestness she hadnât seen before. âI fell for you, Y/N. And not because of some stupid bet. I fell for you because youâre amazing. And I know I donât deserve your forgiveness, but I wanted you to know the truth. Iâm not that guy anymore. Not because I decided to change, but because you made me want to be better.â
Y/Nâs chest tightened at his words. She could see the sincerity in his expression, the raw honesty in his voice. But the hurt was still there, lingering like a shadow over everything.
âI donât know if I can believe you,â she admitted, her voice soft but steady. âHow do I know this isnât just another part of your game?â
Mingi took a step closer, holding out the flowers to her. âBecause Iâm still here. Iâve been here every day, trying to fix what I broke. I donât care about the bet, Y/N. I care about you. And Iâll keep proving it, no matter how long it takes.â
For a long moment, Y/N just looked at him, her emotions warring inside her. She wanted to trust him, to believe that he had changed, but the fear of being hurt again held her back.
Finally, she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. âI need time, Mingi. I donât know if I can forgive you yet.â
Mingi nodded, a small, sad smile on his face. âI understand. Take all the time you need. Iâm not going anywhere.â
He handed her the flowers, and for the first time in weeks, Y/N accepted them. She didnât say anything else as she turned and walked away, but Mingi stood there, watching her until she disappeared into her house.
For the first time in what felt like forever, he felt a sliver of hope. It wasnât much, but it was enough to keep him going.
That night, Y/N sat on her bed, the bouquet of flowers resting on her nightstand. She stared at them, the faint scent of roses filling the air. Her emotions were a tangled messâanger, sadness, confusion, and something she didnât want to admit: a lingering flicker of hope.
She wanted to hate Mingi, wanted to hold on to the pain he caused her. But the way he had looked at her today, the vulnerability in his voice, made her question everything. Was he really different? Had he truly fallen for her, or was it just another ploy?
She sighed, leaning back against her pillows. As much as she tried to push the thought away, the truth was clear: she still cared about him. But caring about him didnât erase the hurt. It didnât undo the betrayal.
Over the next few days, Mingi continued to prove his sincerity. He didnât push her for more time or overwhelm her with grand gestures. Instead, he found small ways to show her he was still there.
When she walked into school one morning, she found a note tucked into her locker:
Iâm sorry for everything. Iâm not giving up on us, no matter how long it takes. â M
When she went to her favorite café with Chloe, the barista handed her a drink with a sticky note attached:
I saw you order this once. Thought you could use a pick me up. â M
Each little act chipped away at her defenses. She couldnât ignore the effort he was putting in, but she also couldnât let her guard down entirely. Not yet.
One evening, a week after their conversation, Y/N was sitting on the steps outside her house when she saw Mingi approaching. He wasnât holding flowers this time, just his hands in his pockets and an uncertain look on his face.
âHey,â he said softly, stopping a few feet away.
âHey,â she replied, her tone cautious but not cold.
âCan I sit?â he asked, gesturing to the step beside her.
She hesitated, then nodded. âSure.â
Mingi sat down, the silence between them heavy but not uncomfortable. He looked at her for a long moment before speaking. âI wanted to say something. Something I should have said a long time ago.â
Y/N turned to him, her heart racing. âWhat is it?â
He took a deep breath, his voice steady but filled with emotion. âI love you, Y/N. I know Iâve done everything to mess this up, and I donât deserve you, but I couldnât keep it to myself anymore. I love you.â
Her breath hitched as his words sank in. She searched his face, looking for any sign of insincerity, but all she saw was raw, unfiltered truth.
For a moment, she didnât say anything. Mingiâs heart pounded as he waited, the seconds feeling like hours.
Then, finally, she spoke. âIâŠâ She paused, her eyes softening. âI love you too, Mingi.â
His eyes widened in surprise and relief, a smile breaking across his face. âYou do?â
She nodded, a small smile of her own forming. âI do. But this doesnât mean everything is fixed. I still need time to trust you again.â
Mingi reached for her hand, his touch gentle. âIâll wait as long as it takes. I promise.â
Y/N felt a glimmer of hope not just for Mingi, but for them.
Over the next few weeks, Y/N and Mingi slowly began to rebuild what had been broken. It wasnât easy there were moments when doubt crept in, when Y/Nâs walls went back up, or when Mingi questioned whether he could ever fully make up for his mistakes. But through it all, they found ways to meet in the middle.
Mingi was patient, careful not to push her too far. He started showing up for her in ways that felt genuine offering to walk her home from school, helping her carry her books, and being a constant presence in her life. When they talked, he listened, really listened, and Y/N found herself opening up to him in ways she hadnât expected.
One afternoon, they found themselves at the park where they had shared their first kiss. The cherry blossoms were long gone, replaced by vibrant green leaves, but the memory lingered. They sat under the same tree, Mingi leaning against the trunk while Y/N stretched out on the grass beside him.
âYou know,â she said, twirling a blade of grass between her fingers, âI didnât think Iâd ever be able to look at you without feeling angry.â
Mingi turned to her, his expression soft. âAnd now?â
âNow,â she said, glancing at him with a small smile, âIâm starting to feel like I can trust you again.â
He smiled, relief washing over him. âThat means more to me than you know.â
Days turned into weeks, and their connection only grew stronger. Mingi wasnât just a part of her life now he was a constant. They studied together, laughed together, and even shared secrets under the stars.
One evening, after a particularly long day of classes, Mingi and Y/N found themselves at her favorite café. The place was quiet, the soft hum of conversation filling the air as they sat by the window.
Y/N was sipping her drink when she noticed Mingi fidgeting. He kept glancing at her, then at his hands, like he was trying to muster the courage to say something.
âWhatâs up with you?â she asked, raising an eyebrow.
Mingi chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. âI, uh⊠Iâve been thinking about something.â
âOkayâŠâ she prompted, leaning forward slightly.
He took a deep breath, his eyes meeting hers. âI know Iâve said this before, but I need you to know how much you mean to me. These past few weeks, rebuilding things with you itâs been everything to me. Youâre everything to me, Y/N.â
Her cheeks flushed, and she looked down at her drink, a smile tugging at her lips. âMingiâŠâ
âNo, let me finish,â he interrupted, his voice steady but filled with emotion. âIâve spent so much of my life running from things, from feelings, from anything real. But with you⊠I donât want to run anymore. I want to be better, not just for you but for myself too. And I want to do it with you by my side.â
He reached across the table, taking her hand in his. âY/N, will you be my girlfriend?â
Y/N blinked, her heart skipping a beat as his words sank in. She hadnât expected this not now, not tonight but as she looked into his eyes, she saw the sincerity, the hope, and the love he had for her.
âYes,â she said softly, her smile widening. âIâll be your girlfriend.â
Mingiâs face lit up, and he let out a breath he hadnât realized heâd been holding. âYou wonât regret it,â he said, squeezing her hand gently.
âI know I wonât,â Y/N replied, and for the first time in a long time, she felt like everything was exactly as it should be.
The next day at school, Mingi couldnât stop smiling. His usual confident swagger was there, but it felt different now lighter, more genuine. His friends, San and Hongjoong, were quick to notice as they sat at their usual spot on the bleachers during lunch.
âYouâre practically glowing,â San teased, nudging Mingi with his elbow. âWhatâs going on? Did Y/N finally agree to hang out with you again or something?â
Mingi grinned, unable to hold it in any longer. âActually⊠she said yes.â
Hongjoong furrowed his brow. âYes to what?â
âTo being my girlfriend,â Mingi said, his smile growing even wider.
Sanâs jaw dropped, and Hongjoong let out a low whistle. âNo way,â San said, shaking his head in disbelief. âYouâre telling me Y/N the girl who doesnât give anyone the time of day actually agreed to date you?â
âYep,â Mingi said, leaning back with a satisfied look. âAnd I didnât even have to bribe her or anything.â
Hongjoong laughed, clapping him on the back. âWell, Iâll admit, I didnât think you had it in you. But Iâve got to say, Iâm happy for you, man. Youâve been different lately. Better.â
San nodded, his expression turning more serious. âYeah, for real. I mean, I know we teased you a lot, but I can tell you actually care about her. Donât mess this up.â
âI wonât,â Mingi promised, his tone firm. âShe means too much to me.â
Meanwhile, Y/N was sitting with Chloe in their favorite spot in the courtyard, sipping on iced tea and enjoying the warm afternoon sun. Chloe had been unusually quiet, and Y/N finally spoke up.
âOkay, spill it. I know you have something to say,â Y/N said, setting her drink down and giving Chloe a pointed look.
Chloe sighed, leaning back against the bench. âI just⊠Iâm happy for you, Y/N. Really, I am. Iâve never seen you this happy before.â
âBut?â Y/N prompted, raising an eyebrow.
âBut,â Chloe continued, âI also know how much youâve been hurt before. I just want to make sure youâre being careful. Mingiâs great and all, but heâs⊠well, heâs Mingi. You know what I mean.â
Y/N nodded, her smile softening. âI know. And trust me, Iâve thought about it. But heâs been different lately, Chloe. Heâs really trying, and I can see it. Iâm not saying Iâm throwing caution to the wind, but⊠I think heâs worth taking a chance on.â
Chloe studied her for a moment, then smiled. âOkay. If you believe in him, then Iâll believe in him too. Just know Iâve got your back if he ever messes up.â
âI know,â Y/N said with a laugh, reaching out to squeeze her friendâs hand. âThanks, Chloe. That means a lot.â
âAnd for the record,â Chloe added with a smirk, âI never thought Iâd see the day where you started dating someone. Mingi must be some kind of miracle worker.â
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât help the grin that spread across her face. âYeah, well, heâs definitely something.â
Over the next few weeks, Mingi and Y/Nâs relationship blossomed. They spent every spare moment together, from quiet study sessions in the library to playful banter during lunch. Y/N found herself smiling more than ever, and Mingiâs friends could see how much she had softened him.
Even Chloe, who had been skeptical at first, started warming up to the idea of them being together. Sheâd catch glimpses of how Mingi looked at Y/N when he thought no one else was watching like she was the only thing that mattered in the world and it was hard not to root for them.
It had been a couple of months since Y/N and Mingi officially started dating, and everything was going better than Y/N could have imagined. He had proven himself over and over again not just to her, but to Chloe, her family, and even his own friends. Mingiâs playful charm had melted into something deeper and more genuine, and Y/N couldnât deny how much sheâd come to trust him.
Tonight, they were at his house. The usual sounds of his family bustling around were absent, and the house felt unusually quiet. Mingiâs mom had gone out for the evening, leaving the two of them alone.
In his room, they were sprawled across his bed, a bowl of popcorn between them as a movie played on the screen. The soft glow of fairy lights heâd strung up around his room gave the space a cozy warmth.
Y/N popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth, giggling as a particularly ridiculous scene unfolded on the screen. âOkay, this might be the worst movie youâve ever made me watch,â she said, glancing over at him.
Mingi grinned, leaning back against the headboard. âExcuse me, this is a cult classic,â he said, feigning offense. âYou just donât appreciate the art of bad action movies.â
ïżœïżœOh, I appreciate it, all right,â she teased. âI just donât know why the hero needs to somersault every five seconds.â
âItâs called flair,â Mingi shot back, tossing a piece of popcorn at her.
Y/N laughed, dodging it easily. âFlair, my foot. Itâs ridiculous, and you know it.â
He smirked, setting the bowl of popcorn aside and turning to face her fully. âRidiculous? You want to talk about ridiculous? Youâre the one who cried during that cartoon about a dog the other day.â
Her mouth fell open in mock outrage. âThat was emotional, and you know it!â
Mingi chuckled, his gaze softening as he looked at her. âOkay, okay, Iâll give you that one.â
For a moment, neither of them spoke, the movie playing in the background forgotten. Mingi reached out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. âYouâre really cute when youâre all worked up, you know that?â
Y/N felt her cheeks heat under his gaze. âStop,â she said with a shy smile, swatting at his arm.
âIâm serious,â he said, his voice quieter now. âYouâre⊠amazing, Y/N.â
The sincerity in his tone made her heart skip a beat. She looked up at him, meeting his eyes, and saw nothing but warmth and affection.
âYouâre not so bad yourself, Mingi,â she replied softly.
He smiled, leaning closer, his hand resting gently on her cheek. âCan I kiss you?â he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Y/Nâs breath hitched, but she nodded, her heart racing. âYeah,â she whispered back.
Mingi closed the gap between them, his lips brushing against hers in a kiss that was slow and sweet, filled with all the emotions neither of them could put into words.
When they pulled apart, Y/N rested her forehead against his, a small smile playing on her lips. âYouâre really good at this, you know.â
âGood at what?â he asked, his own smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
âMaking me fall for you,â she said softly.
Mingiâs heart swelled at her words, and he pulled her into his arms, holding her close as the movie continued in the background.
In that moment, nothing else mattered just the two of them, wrapped up in each other, as if the rest of the world didnât exist.
As the movie droned on in the background, neither of them paid it any attention anymore. Mingiâs fingers absentmindedly traced patterns along Y/Nâs arm, and she found herself leaning into his touch. Their faces were close again, and it wasnât long before his lips found hers once more, the kiss deeper this time, more deliberate.
Her hands slid up to his shoulders, gripping his shirt lightly as he shifted closer. The bowl of popcorn tumbled onto the floor, but neither of them noticed. All that mattered in that moment was each other.
Mingi pulled away just enough to catch his breath, his gaze locking with hers. His eyes searched her face, as if asking for silent permission to take things a step further. When she gave a slight nod, he leaned back in, capturing her lips again.
This time, the kiss grew more intense, and before Y/N knew it, she was on her back, Mingi hovering over her. His hands braced on either side of her, keeping his weight off her, but the closeness between them was undeniable.
âYouâre so beautiful,â he murmured against her lips, his voice low and full of emotion.
Her heart raced as she looked up at him, her hands finding their way to his hair. She tugged him back down for another kiss, and he didnât hesitate to oblige, leaning in fully now as the space between them disappeared completely.
Mingiâs kisses deepened, his lips moving from hers to her jawline and down to the sensitive spot just below her ear. Y/N shivered beneath him, her hands tangling in his hair as his touch became bolder. His fingertips trailed lightly down her sides, sending a wave of warmth through her.
âTell me if I should stop,â he whispered, his voice husky and filled with sincerity.
Y/N shook her head slightly, her breath hitching as his lips moved lower. âDonât stop,â she murmured, her voice barely audible but filled with certainty.
Taking her response as reassurance, Mingiâs hands began to explore more freely, gliding over the curves of her body with a tenderness that made her heart race. His lips found hers again, the kiss slow but filled with an unspoken intensity.
His fingers slipped beneath the hem of her shirt, brushing against her skin, and he paused, looking into her eyes for any sign of hesitation. When she nodded, he continued, his hands lifting the fabric slowly, giving her time to adjust with each inch.
âY/N,â he breathed, his forehead resting against hers as he gently pulled the shirt over her head, his gaze filled with awe and affection.
Mingi then fully pulled her shirt over her head and threw it onto the ground before, unbuckling her bra and tossing that to the ground as well.
Mingi hovered over Y/N, his hands planted on either side of her head as he looked down at her. He took a moment to admire the sight of her beneath him, her chest rising and falling rapidly with each breath.
He leaned down, capturing one of her nipples between his lips. He swirled his tongue around the sensitive bud, eliciting a soft moan from her.
He could feel her body responding to his touch, her back arching off the bed as she pressed herself closer to him. He smiled against her skin, his free hand moving to the other breast, rolling her nipple between his fingers.
Y/N writhed beneath him, her body writhing with pleasure as he teased her nipples. She let out a series of soft gasps and moans, her hands tangling in his hair as she clung to him.
"Mingi..." she breathed, her voice laced with need. "Please..."
He lifted his head, his eyes dark with desire as he looked at her. "Please what, princess?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
"I need you," she whimpered, her hips bucking up against him. "I need you to touch me."
Mingi chuckled, a low, dangerous sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Oh, I will, princess," he said, his hand trailing down her body. "But I'm going to take my time with you. I want to make you beg for it."
He continued to tease her, his lips and hands exploring every inch of her body. He knew all the spots that made her shiver and gasp, and he used that knowledge to his advantage.
He kissed his way down her neck, leaving a trail of marks in his wake. He nipped at her collarbone, his teeth scraping against her skin.
"You're so beautiful like this," he murmured against her skin. "All spread out for me, desperate for my touch."
Mingi moved lower, his lips and tongue tracing a path down her stomach. He paused at the waistband of her panties, his fingers hooking under the fabric.
He looked up at her, a wicked glint in his eyes. "Lift your hips for me, princess," he said, his voice firm but gentle.
Y/N obeyed, lifting her hips off the bed as he pulled her panties down, exposing her to him completely. He settled between her legs, his hands gripping her thighs to keep her in place.
Mingi gazed at her for a moment, taking in the sight of her spread out before him. She was a vision of beauty, her skin flushed and her eyes dark with desire.
He lowered his head, his breath hot against her center. He pressed a soft kiss to her inner thigh, his lips trailing closer and closer to where she needed him most.
He could smell her arousal, could see the evidence of her desire glistening on her skin. He teased her with his fingers, lightly brushing against her folds before withdrawing.
Mingi finally gave in to her need, his tongue darting out to lick a slow stripe up her slit. She cried out, her body arching off the bed at the sensation.
He chuckled against her, the sound vibrating through her body. He lapped at her, his tongue exploring every inch of her folds with a skillful precision.
He found her clit, flicking his tongue against it in a steady rhythm that had her moaning and writhing beneath him. He knew just how to push her buttons, how to drive her wild with pleasure.
Mingi alternated between sucking and licking her clit, his hands holding her hips in place as he worked. He could feel her getting closer to the edge, her thighs trembling around his head.
He looked up at her, his eyes locking onto hers as he continued to devour her. He loved watching her come undone, loved seeing the look of pure ecstasy on her face.
He pushed two fingers inside her, curling them just right to hit that sweet spot deep inside her.
Mingi continued to pump his fingers in and out of her, his tongue never leaving her clit. He could feel her walls fluttering around his fingers, a sure sign that she was close.
He quickened his pace, his fingers moving faster and harder as he brought her closer to her release. He knew she was on the brink, could feel her body tensing up beneath him.
Mingi doubled his efforts, his fingers and tongue working in tandem to push her over the edge. He sucked hard on her clit, his free hand moving to pinch her nipple.
Y/N cried out, her body shaking with pleasure. She was completely lost in the sensations, unable to form coherent words as she neared her peak.
Her moans grew louder, a mix of curses and pleas falling from her lips. She could feel the heat building low in her belly, her muscles tightening with each thrust of his fingers.
Mingi could feel her getting tighter around his fingers, her walls clenching desperately as she approached her orgasm. He knew she was right on the edge, knew that all it would take was one final push to send her over.
He curled his fingers inside her, hitting that sweet spot with unerring accuracy. At the same time, he bit down on her clit, a sharp jolt of pain that sent her hurtling into ecstasy.
Y/N screamed his name as she came, âah mingi~â her body arching off the bed as waves of pleasure crashed over her. She writhed beneath him, her walls spasming around his fingers as he worked her through her orgasm.
Mingi pulled back, his lips and chin glistening with her arousal. He sat back on his heels, his eyes raking over her flushed and trembling body.
He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, a satisfied smirk on his face. "You taste so good, princess," he said, his voice low and husky.
He reached down, pulling off his sweatpants and boxers in one swift motion. His cock sprang free, already hard and straining for release.
He leaned back against the headboard, his eyes fixed on her. "Come here," he said, beckoning her towards him.
Y/N crawled over to him, her body still buzzing with the aftershocks of her orgasm. She settled between his legs, her eyes fixed on his hard cock.
She looked up at him, her gaze filled with a mixture of desire and submission.
Mingi smirked, his fingers threading through her hair as he guided her closer to his cock. "Open your mouth, princess," he commanded, his voice firm but gentle.
Y/N obeyed, her lips parting as she looked up at him. She knew what he wanted, knew exactly how to please him.
He guided her head down, his cock sliding past her lips and into her warm, wet mouth. He let out a low groan, his grip on her hair tightening slightly.
Mingi's grip on her hair tightened as she took him deeper into her mouth. He groaned, his head falling back against the headboard as pleasure coursed through his body.
"Fuck, princess," he growled, his hips bucking up slightly. "Your mouth feels so good."
Y/N gagged as he hit the back of her throat, but she didn't pull back. She looked up at him through watery eyes, her hands bracing herself against his thighs.
Mingi could feel her throat constricting around him, the sensation sending sparks of pleasure shooting up his spine. He tightened his grip on her hair, using it to guide her movements as he pushed her head down further.
Y/N gagged again, her throat convulsing around Mingi's cock. The sensation was almost too much for him, the tight, wet heat of her mouth driving him wild.
He loved watching her struggle to take him, loved seeing the way her eyes watered and her cheeks hollowed out as she tried to breathe around him.
"You're doing so well, princess," he murmured, his voice strained. "Taking my cock so deep in your throat like a good girl."
Mingi continued to guide her head up and down his length, his hips moving in time with her movements. He could feel his orgasm building, the tension coiling tightly in his gut.
He looked down at her, taking in the sight of her kneeling between his legs, her lips stretched around his cock. She looked so beautiful like this, so completely submissive and willing to please him.
He tightened his grip on her hair again, pushing her head down further than before. "I'm close, princess," he grunted, his voice rough with need.
Y/N pulled back slightly, her tongue swirling around the tip of Mingi's cock. She lapped at the sensitive head, swirling her tongue around it in slow, deliberate circles.
Mingi groaned, his eyes fluttering shut as pleasure shot through him. "Just like that, princess," he panted, his fingers tightening in her hair.
He could feel his release building, the tension in his body reaching its peak. He bucked his hips up, his cock hitting the back of her throat once more.
"I'm gonna cum," he warned, his voice strained. "Swallow it all, princess. Be a good girl for me."
Y/N continued to suck and lick him, her movements becoming more desperate as she sensed his impending orgasm. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mix of desire and obedience.
Mingi's body tensed, his muscles coiling tightly as he reached the edge. He let out a strangled cry, his hips jerking as he spilled himself into her mouth.
Y/N swallowed obediently, taking every drop of his cum without hesitation. She continued to suckle at his cock, milking him for all he was worth.
Mingi groaned, his head falling back against the headboard as he came down from his high. "Good girl," he panted, his fingers loosening their grip on her hair. "Such a good girl for me."
Mingi took a moment to catch his breath, his chest heaving as he looked down at Y/N.
He reached out, gently stroking her cheek with his thumb. "Lay down on your stomach, princess," he said, his voice low and commanding.
"Yes, sir," Y/N replied, her voice soft and obedient.
She did as she was told, rolling onto her stomach and pillowing her head on her arms. She felt vulnerable in this position, exposed and at his mercy.
Mingi moved behind her, his hands trailing over her back and down to her hips. He positioned himself between her legs, his cock resting against her entrance.
Mingi ran his hands over her ass, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he admired her body. He loved the way she looked like this, spread out beneath him and completely at his mercy.
He teased her with the tip of his cock, running it up and down her folds without actually entering her. He could feel her growing wetter with each pass, her body aching for him to fill her.
Mingi leaned over to the bedside table, opening the drawer and pulling out a pair of handcuffs. He held them up for Y/N to see, a smirk on his face.
"You know what these are for, princess?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Y/N's eyes widened slightly, her heart rate picking up at the sight of the handcuffs. She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, sir."
Mingi fastened the handcuffs around her wrists, securing them tightly so that she was effectively bound and at his mercy.
He ran his hands up her arms, his fingers tracing the smooth skin of her back. "You look so good like this, princess," he murmured, his voice rough with desire. "Helpless and restrained, all mine to do with as I please."
Mingi grabbed a handful of her hair, yanking her head back roughly. He leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear as he spoke.
âSuch a good little slut for me," he growled, his grip on her hair tightening. "You're mine to use and abuse, aren't you?"
Y/N moaned, her body arching into his touch as he spoke. "Yes, Daddy," she gasped, her voice filled with need. "I'm all yours, to do whatever you want."
Mingi chuckled, his hand still tangled in her hair as he leaned back. He admired the sight of her bound and submissive beneath him, her body trembling with anticipation.
"That's right, princess," he said, his voice rough with desire. "You belong to me, and I'm going to use you however I see fit."
He shifted his position, positioning himself at her entrance. He teased her for a moment longer, rubbing the head of his cock against her folds before finally pushing inside.
Y/N moaned softly as he entered her, the feeling of being filled by him both pleasurable and overwhelming. She was completely at his mercy, her body and pleasure entirely in his control.
Mingi groaned, his grip on her hair tightening as he sank into her fully. "You're so tight, princess," he grunted, his hips moving in a slow, steady rhythm.
He leaned forward, his chest pressed against her back as he began to move inside her. He continued to pull her hair, forcing her head back at an uncomfortable angle.
"Look at you," he growled, his voice low and degrading. "Bound and helpless beneath me, taking my cock like the little good girl you are."
Y/N whimpered, her body writhing beneath him as he spoke. His words were like a drug, sending shivers of pleasure and shame coursing through her veins.
"P-Please," she gasped, her voice strained and stuttering. "Please, Daddy, harder."
Mingi chuckled darkly, his hips snapping forward with renewed force. "Such a needy little thing," he said, his voice laced with mockery. "Begging for more like the desperate little slut you are."
Mingi grabbed a fistful of her hair, yanking her head back so hard that it almost hurt. He pulled her up onto her knees, forcing her back to arch and her body to bend to his will.
"Is this what you want, princess?" he growled, his breath hot against her ear. "You want it rough and merciless, huh? You want me to use you like a toy?"
Y/N's eyes widened, a mixture of pain and pleasure coursing through her as he pulled her hair. She could barely speak, her voice coming out in stutters and gasps.
"Y-yes, Daddy," she managed to gasp, her body trembling with need. "P-please, be rough with me. Use me however you want."
Mingi flipped her over, easily maneuvering her onto her back despite her bound wrists. He knelt between her legs, his eyes raking over her flushed and trembling body.
he thrust back into her.He wrapped his hand around her throat, his fingers pressing lightly against her skin.
"You look so beautiful like this, princess," he said, his voice rough with desire. "Helpless and at my mercy, completely under my control."
Mingi continued to pound into her, his hips snapping forward with each thrust. His hand around her throat tightened slightly, not enough to cut off her air but enough to send a thrill of danger coursing through her veins.
âYou're mine, princess," he growled, his eyes locked on hers. "Your body, your pleasure, everything belongs to me. And I'm going to take it all."
Y/N moaned and writhed beneath him, her body arching into his touch as he took her roughly. The feeling of his hand around her throat and the sound of his grunts were driving her wild, pushing her closer and closer to the edge.
Mingi continued to pound into her, his grunts growing louder and more frequent as he approached his own release.
"You're so good for me, princess," he panted, his voice rough with exertion. "Taking my cock so well, so perfect for me."
Y/N's voice was barely coherent, her words coming out in a stream of gasps and moans.
"D-daddy," she managed to stutter, her body trembling with pleasure. "Please, I'm so close."
Mingi's grip on her wrists and throat tightened, his movements becoming more urgent and frantic as he chased his own release.
"I know you are, princess," he grunted, his voice strained. "Cum for me, let go and give me everything you have."
Y/N's body tensed, her back arching off the bed as her orgasm hit her like a tidal wave. âAh~ daddy..â, her voice hoarse and broken as she clenched around him.
Mingi continued to thrust into her, riding out her orgasm as he chased his own release. The feeling of her tightening around him was too much to bear, and he soon followed her over the edge. âfuck princess..â mingi grunts out.
He groaned, burying himself deep inside her as he spilled himself inside her. His body shuddered with the force of his orgasm, his grip on her throat loosening slightly.
Mingi collapsed on top of her, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. He released her throat, his hands coming to rest on her hips instead.
He remained inside her for a few moments, savoring the feeling of her body beneath him. He could feel the sweat cooling on their skin, their bodies slick with a mixture of sweat and cum.
He lifted his head, looking down at her with a mixture of satisfaction and affection. "You did so well, princess," he murmured, his voice still rough from exertion.
Mingi carefully pulled out of her, his body still trembling from the intensity of their encounter. He rolled onto his side, gently helping her to sit up and remove the handcuffs.
He massaged her wrists, checking to make sure they weren't too sore or bruised from being restrained. Once he was satisfied that she was okay, he leaned in and kissed her forehead softly.
"Come on, princess," he said, standing up and holding out a hand to her. "Let's go get cleaned up."
Y/N took his hand, her legs still a bit shaky as she stood up. She leaned against him for support, feeling both exhausted and satisfied after their intense session.
Mingi wrapped an arm around her waist, guiding her towards the bathroom. He turned on the shower, adjusting the temperature until it was just right before stepping inside with her.
He pulled her under the warm spray, letting the water wash away the sweat and other fluids from their bodies. He took his time cleaning her, gently running his hands over her skin and washing away any evidence of their previous activities.
Once they were both clean and dry, Mingi led Y/N back to the bed. He pulled back the covers, letting her climb in before sliding in beside her.
He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close against his chest. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, holding her tightly as they settled into the bed.
"I love you, princess," he murmured, his voice soft and affectionate. "You were amazing tonight."
Y/n softly says âI love you too mingiâ
They both eventually drift off to sleep.
The next morning, sunlight streamed softly through the window, casting a warm glow over Mingiâs room. The world outside seemed quiet, and for once, everything felt still. Y/N lay nestled against Mingiâs chest, her head resting against his shoulder, the faint scent of his cologne still lingering in the air. She felt peaceful, safe, and content.
Mingi shifted slightly, his deep morning voice filling the quiet room. âI think Iâm still half asleep,â he mumbled, his words slow and groggy, but it only made Y/N smile.
âYou definitely sound it,â she teased softly, raising her head slightly to meet his sleepy eyes.
He chuckled, the sound low and warm, before pulling her back into his embrace. âIâm not a morning person⊠but Iâll make an exception for you.â
Y/N laughed, burying her face into the crook of his neck. âWell, lucky for you, Iâm also not a morning person,â she said, a hint of humor in her voice.
They both fell into a comfortable silence, just lying there together, basking in the simple joy of being close. After a moment, Mingi broke the quiet again, his voice teasing. âDo you remember how you tried to steal all the blankets last night in your sleep?â
Y/N rolled her eyes, laughing. âI wasnât trying to steal them! You were hogging them all!â
âUh-huh, sure,â Mingi grinned, pulling her even closer. âYou just canât resist my charm.â
She snorted. âItâs not your charm. Itâs your body heat.â
He smirked, clearly pleased with himself. âEither way, you were still stuck with me.â
Y/N sighed contentedly, her hand resting against his chest. âI canât believe how much I love this. Just⊠being here with you, in this moment.â
Mingiâs smile softened, his thumb gently tracing circles on her back. âSame here. Iâve never felt anything like this before, Y/N. You make everything feel⊠right.â
Y/N paused, lifting her head slightly to look at him. The warmth in his eyes made her heart swell. âMingiâŠâ
He gently cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing over her skin as his voice grew sincere. âI love you. I love you so much, Y/N.â
Y/N felt a rush of emotion flood through her. She had never been this sure of anything in her life. âI love you too, Mingi,â she whispered, her voice filled with the depth of everything she had been feeling.
Mingiâs smile widened, and he kissed her forehead gently. âIâm so lucky to have you.â
âAnd Iâm lucky to have you,â Y/N replied, her heart full as she snuggled into him, both of them wrapped in the quiet of their own little world, where nothing else mattered except each other.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.

(wanda maximoff x reader)
summary â wanda is alone: new to the country and the new girl at school. she finds herself being bullied by the popular kids until you step in⊠her very own knight in shining armour.
warning(s) â headcanon: high school au, friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, wanda needs a hug!
â â
â
â
ââââ ⥠âââ â
â
â
ââ
Thinking about Wanda who hid herself behind oversized hoodies and kept her head low, hoping no one noticed her slipping into the back of the classroom. Sheâs the kind of girl whoâd sit at the edge of the table, picking at her food, trying not to flinch when laughter erupts from the popular kids' table.
But youâd noticed her.
Youâd noticed her as soon as she arrived.
She was the only girl in school from Europe and she never really spoke to anyone, just hovered around her brother, Pietro, and his friends when heâd let her. Most of the time though, heâd pretend as if she didnât exist. Those moments she was forced to brave the school alone. One time, you saw a group of girls shove past her in the hallway causing her to fall into her open locker. Youâd never forget the look on her face, shock registering at the force as the pain in her shoulder began to burn. Youâd never forget the tears that followed either.
From that moment, you promised to make an effort with her.
She was going to be your friend.
It started off small: offering her a pencil when hers breaks during a quiz, or saying âhi!â when you passed her in the hallway. She didnât say much back at firstâjust a mumbled thanks or a nodâbut her wide, startled eyes tell you she wasnât used to this kindness. Over time, you worked up the courage to start sitting with her during lunch, even though she told you each time she doesnât want you to feel obligated. âIâm not,â you said with a genuine smile, âyouâre good company.â And when she finally let herself believe it, you swore you could see the faintest hint of a smile tugging at her lips each time you approached her table.
Wanda was still guarded, but little by little, she began to let you in. You started driving her home after school, even if it meant going out of your way to drive to the other side of town. She spoke more when it was just the two of you, her voice soft and hesitant, like she was still testing how much of herself she can trust you with. She did tell you about Sokovia, about the tragic death of her biological parents - sheâs adopted - and about her childhood. She had never told anyone before. You could see that she had always been such an isolated child, always longing to feel at home, even when she did have one for the briefest moment. You could hear the pain laced in every word, and it broke your heart that sheâd been carrying so much pain alone for so long. Your friendship hadnât been going on for too long but you could tell she was already terrified of losing you. That did had meant just as much to you as it did to her. And so, you made it a point to remind her, every chance you get, that youâre not going anywhere.
One day, Maria had made a snide comment at Wanda, before loudly belittling her in the cafeteria for reasons unknown other than the fact that she was just a mean bully. The comments ranged from her appearance to rumours that had been circling the walls of school the last couple weeks. Pietro sat on the other side and just watched. Finally sick of Mariaâs shit, you stood up to her, voice sharp and unwavering, and despite your own fear of confrontation. You managed to weave between the tall brunette, shielding her away from your friend, before pushing her away with all your strength. Wanda never said anything, her head was tucked into her chest as she batted at the tears threatening to fall, shoulders shaking as she held in her sobs. You didnât bother waiting for Mariaâs response, grabbing onto Wanda before guiding her out of the school and into the parking lot. Later that day - after bunking the rest of classes- she whispered, âThank you for earlier,â and you swore you fell in love even harder.
Yes, you were in love with Wanda Maximoff.
You started to believe you had been all this time.
That moment was another turning point in your friendship. Wanda, who never liked physical affection, started to lean into your shoulder when you sat together, just for a moment before pulling away like sheâs afraid youâd notice her there (you definitely did.) Wanda, who started leaving little notes in your lockerâsmall, thoughtful things like âgood luck on the test todayâ or âyou forgot your favourite pen, I left it hereâ because, for some reason, you guys had no classes together. Wanda, who never believed in herself but always believed in you.
You had became her safe place, the one person she never had to hide from or fear. âYou know, youâre the closest thing I have to a home.â She said to you one night, but you know what that meant, the weight her confession held. And thatâs all you needed before you leaned in, pressing your lips softly against hers. She was the first to pull back, a soft laugh escaping her as her breath mingled with yours. Her lips curled into a smile, and her Sokovian accent thickened as she teased, âAbout time.â
Her laughter melted any lingering nervousness, and you couldnât help but chuckle along with her, sneaking one last kiss before pulling her into your arms.
Yes, it was about time.

Two of a Kind
pairing: Soft! Jungwon x Soft fem! reader
synopsis: Everyone knows that Jungwon has a pure and innocent heart. So, when heâs seen with a female version of himselfâeveryoneâs left wondering how the universe can handle two of them.
author's note: This was never planned to be written, but here we are! Happy reading âš
caution: They cry over EVERYTHING. Cute moments? Tears. Sweet gestures? More tears. If youâre not ready for this emotional overload, proceed with caution!
permanent tag list: @sol3chu @chlorinecake @13tter @jung1w0n
Jungwon was already known as the schoolâs most admired guy. He is polite, sweet, and with a smile that could melt hearts. But when you entered his life, everything changed. You were his perfect match: just as adorable, just as innocent, and just as over-the-top with emotions.
Your relationship quickly became legendaryânot because of drama or fights, but because of how unapologetically cute you were togetherâŠ. and perhaps a little dramatic⊠or maybe a lotâŠ
One day during lunch, you sat across from Jungwon, absentmindedly tying your hair into a loose ponytail. Jungwon, however, had gone completely still. He sat with his spoon mid-air, staring at you like heâd just seen the most astonishing sight in the world. His eyes grew wide, his lips parted slightly, and his cheeks flushed pink.
Finally, you looked up, meeting his gaze. âWhat?â you asked, tilting your head in confusion.
Jungwonâs lips quivered as he let out the softest sniffle. âYouâre⊠youâre so beautiful, it hurts,â he said, his voice cracking.
You blinked, caught off guard. âWhat are youââ
Before you could finish your sentence, you noticed his eyes glistening.
Actual tears. Forming.
âJungwon!â you gasped, setting down your chopsticks and reaching across the table to grab his hand. âWhy are you crying?â
âI donât deserve you!â he wailed, covering his face with his free hand. His shoulders shook dramatically as he buried his head in his arms. âYouâre too perfect!â
You stared at him, your mouth opening and closing in disbelief. For a moment, you were too stunned to react, but then it hit youâhis words, tears, ridiculous sincerity.
âOh no,â you muttered under your breath, feeling your own emotions welling up. âYouâre so adorable, I canât handle this!ââ To Jungwonâs shock, tears began streaming down your face, too. You clutched his hand tighter and sniffled loudly. âHow are you even real? Itâs not fair!â
Now, the two of you were full-on crying in the middle of the cafeteria, heads bowed and hands clasped together. Jungwon suddenly wiped his eyes and stood up. âI love you so much, I justââ His voice cracked, and he sat down again, clutching his chest dramatically like he couldnât handle his emotions anymore.
You hiccupped through your tears, nodding at him. âMe too. I canâtâhow are you so sweet?!â
The two of you returned to crying, oblivious to the whispers and amused stares around you. Your untouched plates of food sat forgotten on the table.
When the moment passed, and you finally calmed down, your eyes were red and puffy, and your hands were still clasped tightly together. Jungwon sniffled one last time, giving you a watery smile. âI just⊠I love you.â
You giggled through your sniffles, squeezing his hand. âI love you too.â
âTheyâre either the cutest couple ever or just plain insane,â someone whispered.
âYeah, theyâre definitely insane.â
But neither of you noticedâor cared.
đ·
One afternoon, your best friend floated an idea to have a double date with her boyfriend. You and Jungwon were immediately on boardâhow hard could it be? ExceptâŠneither of you realized that a double date was requiredâŠ
Actual planning.
When the four of you arrived at the amusement park, things fell apart almost instantly. âWait, you didnât bring the tickets?â your friendâs boyfriend asked, his tone hovering between exasperation and disbelief.
Jungwon scratched the back of his neck, his sheepish smile doing nothing to hide the truth. âUh⊠I thought youâd bring them,â he mumbled, glancing at you for backup.
You gasped, your eyes wide. âMe? I thought youâd bring them!â
The two of you exchanged horrified looks, realizing you had managed to mess up before the date even began. Your best friend sighed and pulled her wallet from her bag. âYou two are so lucky youâre cute, or Iâd leave you outside,â she muttered, going to the ticket booth to purchase tickets. Again.
đ·
After the amusement park fun, you and Jungwon found yourselves in an unexpectedly quiet corner of the park, your friends nowhere in sight. The two of you blinked around at the crowd, completely lost.
âUh, whereâd they go?â you asked, your voice confused.
Jungwon looked around, his eyes wide and innocent. âI thought we were just following themâŠâ
You both turned in a full circle, eyes darting around as if someone might suddenly emerge from the crowd with a map or a sign that said, âThis way to your friends!â
âI think⊠we might be lost,â you said, peering over at Jungwon, your brows furrowing.
Jungwon blinked back at you, his expression clueless. He had those big, boba eyes, âYou think so?â
The two of you continued to look around, but it felt like the world was spinning in a dizzying blur, making it impossible to tell where anyone had gone. You caught sight of a hot dog cart and paused.
âMaybe we should just⊠get some snacks?â you suggested, still feeling a little lost but okay with it.
Jungwonâs eyes lit up at the mention of food. âGood idea! You know, I read somewhere that getting snacks makes everything better.â
You grinned at his enthusiasm, and together, you walked over to the cart, still holding hands. âDo you think weâll ever find them?â you asked, tilting your head.
He nodded confidently (even though he had no idea where they were.) âOf course! We have snacks now. Weâll be okay.â
You both nodded as you shared a bite of your snack, still standing in the middle of a busy crowd, clueless but happy to be lost together. As you were about to ask him if he thought your friends would ever return, you heard a familiar voice behind you.
âThere you are!â Your best friend waved at you both, laughing.
You and Jungwon turned around, blinking like two confused children, both of you still holding hands.
âDid you guys seriously just get lost?â she teased, looking between you two.
You both looked at each other, âI think so,â Jungwon said with a little shrug.
You then showed the food. âBut we found snacks!â
Your friends laughed, but the two of you didnât mind. Being lost wasnât so bad when you had each other.
đ·
As you and Jungwon continued walking through the amusement park, your attention was momentarily caught by a man who passed by, looking incredibly well put together.
You glanced at him, a little shocked by how tall he was. Woah ( âąÍà«ŠâąÍ )
Before you could say anything, Jungwon suddenly stopped in his tracks. His eyes widened as he quickly turned toward you, a flustered expression spreading across his face.
âW-whatâs wrong?â you asked, slightly concerned.
ThenâŠwith no warningâŠ.
Jungwon spread his arms in front of you, practically blocking your view. âDonât look! Donât look at him!â he said, his arms wide as if trying to block out the entire worldâespecially the man walking ahead.
You blinked, completely confused at first. âWhat? Why? Heâs just a guyâŠâ
âNo!â Jungwonâs face turned a bright shade of red. âHeâs a man! A man! And you⊠you canât look at him!â
âBut Jungwon, itâs not like Iââ
âNo!â Jungwon interrupted, his eyes still fixed on you. âIâm the only man you should look at!â He pointed to himself dramatically, puffing out his chest
á( âąÌ á âąÌ )á
âAre you seriouslyâŠ?â you started to say, but then Jungwonâs expression made it even harder to stay serious.
âIâm serious!â he said with an exaggerated nod, keeping his arms outstretched. âI will protect you from all other men! You have no reason to look at anyone else!â
You giggled and stepped forward, warmly hugging him, âOnly you.â
Jungwon smiled shyly, his arms slowly lowering as he hugged you back. âIâm just trying to protect my pretty girl.â
âWell, I appreciate it,â you said, grinning. âBut I think Iâm fine.â
He gave you a bashful smile. âIâll be your shield forever.â Oh, JungwonâŠ
đ·
The only time you and Jungwon ever argued was over the silliest things.
Case in point: your 1st anniversary.
Jungwon showed up at your door, practically bouncing on his heels, his hands hidden behind his back. âClose your eyes!â he said, barely containing his excitement.
You laughed but did as you were told. âOkay, okay. Theyâre closed!â
After a moment of shuffling, he whispered, âOpen them!â
When you did, your eyes fell on the cutest handmade pottery mug youâd ever seen!! (ËÌŁÌŁÌ„áŻ
ËÌŁÌŁÌ„)
âSurprise!â Jungwon said, grinning from ear to ear. âI made it myself in pottery class. See? It even has little hearts on it!â He held it out, his eyes shining with pride.
Your jaw dropped, your heart instantly melting at his effort. âYouâre kidding,â you whispered, taking the mug from him. âYou made this for me?â
Jungwon nodded enthusiastically. âOf course! I wanted to make something special for you.â
You stared at the mug. Then, with a gasp, you set it down and reached behind you. âBut I was going to surprise you first!â
From your bag, you pulled out your gift: a scrapbook stuffed with pictures of the two of you, each page decorated with stickers, doodles, and handwritten notes. It was a labor of love youâd poured hours into creating.
Jungwon blinked at the scrapbook, then at you. His expression shifted from pride to confusion. âWaitâŠwhat?â
You crossed your arms. âI spent weeks working on this! I was supposed to surprise you!â
âBut, baby,â Jungwon whined, âyou canât just out-surprise my surprise!â
You raised an eyebrow. âExcuse me? Youâll find that my scrapbook beats your wobbly little mug any day!â
âWobbly?â Jungwon gasped dramatically, clutching his chest as if youâd mortally wounded him. âHow dare you insult my craftsmanship! Do you know how hard it was to make that? I burned my hand on the kiln for you!â
You snorted. âWell, I stayed up three nights in a row cutting and pasting pictures, thank you very much!â
Jungwonâs eyes narrowed. âAlright, then. Letâs settle this. Whoâs the better gift-giver? Me, with my heartfelt mug of love, or you, with your scrapbook of sentimental memories?â
âObviously me,â you said, pointing your tongue at him.
He huffed, crossing his arms. âFine. But I hope you know Iâm keeping this scrapbook because itâs adorable.â
âAnd Iâm keeping the mug because itâs precious,â you replied, softening as you placed it on the table.
Jungwon dramatically sighed and stepped closer, wrapping his arms around you. âI guess we both won.â
âYeah,â you murmured, smiling into his chest. âBut next time, letâs coordinate surprises. Deal?â
âDeal,â he said, leaning back to look at you. Then he grinned. âBut you have to admitâmy mug is better.â
You swatted his shoulder. âDonât push your luck, pottery boy.â
đ·
For Jungwonâs birthday, you decided to bake him chocolate cake all by yourself, even though baking wasnât exactly your strong suit.
When you arrived at his house, you held the cake box before you. Jungwon opened the door with a bright grin, but his expression softened into something almost reverent when he saw the box. âYou⊠you made me a cake?â he asked, his voice soft with awe.
You nodded, suddenly shy. âItâs not perfect, butââ
âLet me see it!â He eagerly took the box, carefully opening it. His mouth dropped open when he laid eyes on the slightly uneven yet undeniably adorable cake.
âItâs so cute,â he whispered, his voice cracking.
You blinked, worried. âYou think so? I know itâs a little messy, butââ
âItâs perfect,â Jungwon cut you off, his bottom lip trembling. âYou made this for me. With your own hands. For me.â He looked at you, his eyes glistening like he was about to cry. Before you could react, he gently set the cake down on the table and hugged you tightly, burying his face in your shoulder.
âItâs perfect because you made it,â he murmured, his voice muffled and shaky.
âWonie, donât cry,â you said, laughing softly, even as you felt your own eyes start to sting. âItâs just a cake.â
âBut youâre so thoughtful, and I donât deserve you,â he said dramatically, pulling back just enough to look at you with tear-filled eyes.
That was it. Your heart couldnât take it. He was too adorable and too sweet.
Before you knew it, tears were welling up in your eyes, too.
âYou donât deserve me?â you countered, sniffling. âWhat about you? Youâre the sweetest, most precious person ever! How are you real?â
Jungwon blinked at you, his eyes wide and shiny. âAre you crying now?â
âI canât help it!â you wailed softly. âYouâre too cute!â
The two of you ended up crying (again) in his kitchen, this time over a cake. His mom walked in, looked at the scene, and sighed. âYou two are hopelessly adorable,â she said, shaking her head and walking away. Her son really found his match.
đ·
Days later, as you and Jungwon walked home together, he suddenly stopped and turned to you. His expression was serious. âI have something to tell you,â he said, trembling.
You immediately panicked. âWhat is it? Did I do something wrong?â
âNo!â he exclaimed. âItâs just⊠I love you so much, and sometimes I wonder if Iâll ever be good enough for you.â
Your heart melted instantly. âwonie, donât be silly. I love you more than anything.â
He blinked at you, his cheeks flushing. âYou mean it?â
âOf course!â you said. âBut waitâdid you stop me just to tell me that?â
Jungwon scratched his head sheepishly. âWell, I was also going to ask if you wanted to go to the new ice cream shop with me. But it sounded more romantic in my head.â
Laughing, you grabbed his hand. âYes, dummy. Iâll go with you.â
Later, as you both shared a giant ice cream sundae, Jungwon suddenly sniffled and started tearing up again.
âwonie, now what?â you asked, half-laughing as you handed him a napkin.
âIâm just so happy,â he sniffled, his big boba eyes shining with tears. âYouâre too perfect, itâs unfair.â
You blinked at him, your heart swelling. âWhy are you crying?!â
âI donât deserve you!â he wailed, covering his face with his hands, shoulders trembling slightly.
Thatâs when your tears started to form. âNo, stopâdonât cry!â
âButââ
âNow youâre making me cry!â you interrupted, wiping your eyes with your sleeves as tears spilled over.
Jungwon peeked at you through his fingers, looking genuinely alarmed. âWait, why are you crying?â
âBecause youâre crying!â you sniffled. âAnd youâre too adorable; itâs not fair.â
Jungwon, despite his tears, suddenly let out a soft laugh. âThis is ridiculous,â he muttered, reaching for another napkin and gently dabbing at your tears.
You hiccupped through your giggles, overseeing him dry your cheeks, only for him to realize he was still crying. âWeâre hopeless,â you whispered, sniffling again.
Jungwon nodded solemnly. âHopelessly in love.â
Jungwon paused, looked at you with that soft, adorable gaze, and leaned closer.
âCome here,â he murmured.
Before you could say anything, he pressed a long, gentle kiss to your lips. It was so soft and sweet that it fluttered your heart wildly in your chest.
You pulled back, wide-eyed, but grinning like an idiot. âwonie, you have ice cream on your lips.â
âDo I?â he asked innocently, licking his lips. âMust be from you then.â
You gasped, smacking his arm lightly as he laughed, clearly pleased with himself.
Who knew that two people so alike could be this cute together?

task force 141 & their smart ass american informant grabbing lunch together
it was sometimes hard to make friends growing up. in middle school, no one wanted to pick you for any gym games because of how competitive you were. high school was a lost cause since no one could ever understand your jokes and sarcasm. you didnât exactly give them any indication of which was which but that didnât matter.
you finally escaped that feeling of being alone in a crowded lunch room when you joined the marines, but right now you are back to where you hated. standing before the cafeteria with your full tray trying to find somewhere to sit. maybe you could sit at the end of the 141âs table and they may not growl at you. you head over to them, hoping theyâll at least be courteous.
âyou going somewhere yankee?â
âso this is the american bastard, oi? heard all about ya.â
your hair on the back of your neck stood up. like a porcupine you were ready to spread your spikes to shield yourself.
âwanna say that again recruit? last I checked, Iâm actually a higher rank than both of you combined. thought you british boys respected authority?â
âyour rank means piss all here.â
âoh piss all, really?â
and there they were, the 141 standing behind the recruits. price with his arms folded over his chest, gaz with his hands on his hips, johnny trying to keep it together, and simon just standing there but his presence alone is menacing enough.
âc-captain, we wereââ
âtoilet duties. two months. or maybe three months?â
âi was thinkinâ some laundry, maybe extra trainin?â
âoh theyâre noâ gonna do well if they train witâ ghostâ
âiâd âappily do it captainâ
message was clear that day: donât mess with the american.
maybe you could be a little nicer next mission. they are your friends after all.

âthatâs fun, get on your knees and beg moreâ
âare you nuts? iâll never do thatâ
âfine then, pay me for thatâ
âhow much?â
âtwoâ
âdollars?â
âbillionsâ
if thereâs one thing sunghoon can say about himself is that heâs quite an organized person, therefore he made a list for highschool.
a list that will help him survive his last years in highschool and will help him stay sane at the same time.
he called his list âhow to survive highschoolâ, creative, right?
heâs been following his list and so far managed to survive just perfectly.
staying in rugby team with his friends? check!
âsunghoon! catch!â he heard a voice calling him and saw a ball coming right at him, he caught the ball and ran with it, then passing the ball to riki, his friend and teammate who scored the game and ended it with a win.
âthat was a good one! take a break and return in thirty minutes!â the rugby teamâs coach clapped and sent the players off for break.
âhey! i got your exam grades here! come collect them!â jungwon, one of sunghoonâs friends waved the exams to show the players he got the them in his hands.
sunghoon went up to jungwon and took his own.
get high grades? check!
âi got A+ again!â he looked at the grade and excitedly smiled.
âugh, youâre making me sick being the nerdy rugby playerâ jay, another friends of his rolled his eyes.
âyouâre just jealous my grades are higher than your chances with your crushâ sunghoon joked.
âoh youââ âenough! no fighting on break timeâ heeseung cut jay in the middle of his sentence.
âletâs just get something to snack, itâs lunch time anywayâ sunoo suggested and they all nodded.
âyou guys ready?â riki asked before they entered the hallway.
get popular enough so students will freak out when they see you? check!
âsunghoon! i got you this chocolate snack! please accept this and enjoy itâ a one random student handed him the chocolate snack.
before he could take it, jake snatched it and smiled, âiâll take that, thank youâ and left the girl and sunghoon speechless.
âdude what the fuck?â he asked his friend.
âit could be poisoned for all you careâ jake shrugged but proceeded to take a bite from the snack as they kept walking.
âletâs just sit right there!â jungwon pointed at one lunch table as they entered the cafeteria.
âreally? right in front of where y/n is sitting?â sunoo whispered in his ear.
âsure, letâs do thatâ sunghoon replied and started walking towards the table.
âum, iâll go grab the snacksâ riki said and ran to get the snacks.
âdid he just-â âoh, itâs going to be interestingâ jake smirked and watched sunghoon as he walked really closer to you, who was sitting with your back towards him.
âso, what are your plans for the weekend?â your friend karina asked as she took a bite of your food.
âoh i donât really know, probably chilling at home andââ you were cut off middle sentence by someone bumping into you, causing you to spill some of your food on your uniform.
âwhat the fuck?â you turned around and saw the person behind it, âshouldâve known it was you, parkâ
get yourself a rival so itâll be more fun and interestingâŠ.? check!
âsorry, couldnât see you thereâ he smirked.
âjust go awayâ you rolled your eyes at him and turned to your friend who looked awkward as hell.
âsureâ he started to walk but bumped into you again, causing you to spill more food on your clothes.
âoops! that happened againâ he chuckled and continued to walk to the table.
âthatâs itâ that was your last straw.
you got up and took your water bottle, ây/n dontââ your friend tried to stop you but it was too late already.
as you got closer to sunghoon, you poured all your water on him.
âwhat theââ âsorry!! i slipped over and spilled some on you!!â you replied with a smirk and stormed off.
his friends who were watching the whole thing from afar, walked closer to now drenched sunghoon and started laughing.
âdamn, that was fun. do it again!â jay cheered.
âhere sunghoon i got you a towel!â a student walked up to him and handed him a towel to dry himself.
âthank you, iâll take itâ sunoo said and took the towel.
sunghoon glared at him, âwhat? youâre already used to being drenched by sweat, itâs the same thing, no?â
âi hate himâ you rolled your eyes.
âsay, whatâs the deal with you and sunghoon? you never really told me and i just assumed he annoys you because heâs a nerdy rugby player,â she chuckled, âbut it seems more than thatâ
âpark sunghoon has been on my ass ever since seventh gradeâ you sighed.
âwhy? what happened on seventh grade?â she asked, leaving everything she was busy on behind and crossing her hands to focus on you and you only.
before seventh grade you and sunghoon were best friends, hell, your parents couldâve sworn that one day youâll end up marrying each other.
you were stuck like a glue, always around each other and doing basically everything together, no one could tear you apart.
until, seventh grade happened.
you were the top student in class, you aced everything, from math to arts and received praises from all teachers. for the last few days of school, the teacher wanted you to show the whole school your arts project.
you drew your favorite view, which was your house garden, the teacher got so excited over the drawing and decided she wants you to show it to everyone else too.
a day before the last day of school, you were busy doing the last touches of your art, sunghoon was busy doing his usual, which was to annoy you.
âsunghoon stop! i need to focusâ you scoffed.
sunghoon shrugged, âbut iâm boredâ
âgo play around with others or somethingâ you sighed.
he shook his head, ânot when i can annoy you!â
he walked back and forth, even twirled around, until he became dizzy and accidentally pushed you over your drawing, making it look like a big mess over the canvas.
you let out a yelp and looked at it with teary eyes.
âiâŠ.iâm sorry!â he quickly said.
âget out!â you yelled without even looking at him.
âit can be fixed! just a few littleââ âi asked you to get out! you ruined my drawing! how will i be able to show it to everyone now?â at this point you started crying.
you didnât show your unfinished and ruined art in front of everyone, instead it was sunghoonâs drawing that was shown to everyone.
your teacher saw the ruined art and decided to change the plans by taking sunghoonâs project and showing it to everyone.
jealousy was eating you alive. it was supposed to be you up there on stage, showing the project to everyone and getting the compliments, you deserve that after working so hard.
it was sunghoonâs fault, all of it.
before you walked away with your parents, sunghoon called you a few times. at first you ignored his callings, but your parents, unbeknown to the whole story behind it, stopped your tracks and told you to go to sunghoon.
with heavy steps you walked closer to him, âwhat do you want?â you coldly asked.
âi wanted to apologizeâ he took a deep breath.
âgreat, you just didâ
âwaitââ
âweâre good now, i forgive youâ you lied. you just didnât feel like hearing his excuses and explanations.
âwow, really?â
âyeahâ no.
although you told sunghoon you forgive him, things became really awkward between the two of you.
summer vacation arrived and you did your best to ignore him, except the times where he left you no choice and just randomly showed up at your house.
eighth grade was cool between the two of you, but you still held strong feelings against him.
he tried his best to overcome the weird awkwardness between the two of you, youâre too important for him to let go. he was honestly so scared of entering highschool without you by his side.
the second half of eighth grade was the last straw between the two of you.
you started crushing over someone in your class, and started hanging out with him, slowly getting close to the guy.
sunghoon, who was carefully watching you from behind, didnât like your new crush, he seemed like bad news to him, getting close not only to you, but to other girls as well.
your parents, who were strict that time, warned you about dating a guy at such young age, and sunghoon had to do what he had to do.
âpark, what the fuck?â you came up to him and pushed him.
âwhat?â he asked surprised.
âwhy the fuck did you tell my parents about him?â you shout.
âoh,â he rolled his eyes, âso itâs about himâ
âof course itâs about him! you know about my long time crush on him!â
âheâs bad news y/nâ sunghoon tried to warn you.
âno, youâre bad news! i shouldâve known not to forgive you at allâ you scoffed and walked away.
ây/n, wait!â sunghoon called you but you were faster than the light and suddenly was nowhere to be found.
âuh ohâ jay, who was there to witness everything pat his friendâs back, âyou fucked upâ
âyeah, thanks jay i really needed thatâ sunghoon rolled his eyes.
âreally? going behind her back and telling her parents about some guy? you couldâve just talked with her about itâ jay snapped.
âitâs not that easyâ
âit sure isnât, and so will be your attempts to talk with herâ
jay was right, sunghoon tried everything to get to talk with you, followed you everywhere, sent you numerous texts and calls until you had to block his number, even showed up at your house a few times. nothing helped.
so sunghoon, being the cool teenager he is, decided to move on. he doesnât need you anymore anyways.
nineth grade came and so did a new student that sunghoon couldnât take his eyes off of.
slowly he tried his best to get closer to her and spending more time with her, he was so close to confess his feelings towards her.
âdid you do that on purpose?â she asked, nothing but hatred in her eyes as she looked at sunghoon.
âdo whatâŠ?â he asked confused.
âdid you tell the whole school about my family issues?â she raised her voice.
âwhat? no! i would neverââ
âforget it, youâre such a jerk!â she yelled and stormed out.
âwait!!â he called her and was about to run after her but his eyes caught a glimpse of a person smirking.
he clenched his jaw and moved closer to the figure, âwhat the fuck did you do?â he asked.
ânothing, i donât know what youâre talking aboutâ the person shrugged.
âdonât play dumb, y/n. i know you had something to do with itâ he rolled his eyes.
âstill donât know what youâre talking aboutâ you shrugged again, âmaybe someoneâs just taking a revenge on you, i don't knowâ you added and left with a smirk.
âi hate you choi y/n!â he shout. âitâs mutual park sunghoon!â
âoh now i get it! yes girl! give him the revenge he deserves to getâ karina cheered and you nodded.
âbut, donât you think he ruined your chances with your crush just because he was jealous?â she asked and you glared at her, âi mean, even your parents couldâve sworn youâd end up getting marriedâ
âeven if he was jealous, he shouldâve confronted me about itâ you replied and she nodded.
âyouâre rightâ she sighed, âbut what if he was, i donât know, scared?â
âare you seriously on his side now?â you asked in disbelief.
ânever!â she hugged you and you giggled.
âletâs get you cleaned up, i think i have an extra uniform in my lockerâ
âoh no, walking in school hallways like that is like just straight up asking to be bulliedâ
âi wonât let anyone bully you bae, letâs goâ
âby the way! all of you are invited to my brotherâs wedding, no single hoes are invited though, that includes you sunghoonâ heeseung chuckled,
âsweet! when is it?â jake asked.
âin a monthâ
âwhat? you cannot be serious!â sunghoon complained.
âsorry, your single ass will not be able to handle this weddingâ heeseung shrugged.
âeven riki has a partner before youâ sunoo laughed.
âguys just realized sunghoon is really the only one single hereâ jungwon added which made everyone laugh and make jokes about him.
âall of you can shut up because i actually do have a girlfriendâ
heeseung was obviously joking about sunghoon not being invited because heâs single, but he was not expecting to hear his friend confessing that he actually is seeing someone now.
sunghoon was also not expecting that big lie to come out of his mouth, but it was already too late.
âwhat?â jungwon spoke first after the silence that surrounded after his confession.
âi do have a girlfriendâ no sunghoon, you can still get away with it and say you were joking.
sunghoonâs list of surviving highschool has a lot of tasks still left untouched, but this one was definitely not, and was never written, as one of his tasks on his list.
lie to your friends about having a girlfriend? definitely not on the list, stop with the lies!!!
his friends looked at him in shock. riki dropped the spoon he was about to shove into his mouth, jake choked on his water and heeseung pat his back, jay almost fainted and jungwon and sunoo froze in their place.
âwhat?â sunghoon asked.
they all burst into laughter, âthat was a good one! i almost believed you!â riki wiped his tears that fell down because of the amount of laughter he let out.
âiâm serious!â sunghoon scoffed.
âyou? a girlfriend? sunghoon, i saw your âhow to survive highschoolâ list, you had a âno matter what, stay single until you finish highschool!â line!â jay chuckled.
âi can break one line its not a big deal, besides, sheâs definitely worth itâ sunghoon smiled.
heâs talking about no one, no one comes to his mind at the moment, but he still keeps on with his lie.
âwill we be able to see her before the wedding?â heeseung asked.
âa day before maybeâ sunghoon nodded.
âhey! weâre already late for practice! get up everyone now!!â jungwon checked the clock and hurried everyone up.
sunghoon knows he fucked up, real bad. he never had a normal conversation with a girl in highschool, and letâs not forget about the fact that everyone talks to him as if he has some kind of royal blood.
the only real friendship he had with a girl was with you in his childhood. and youâre the only girl who can talk back to him without feeling threatened. wait, thatâs it!
âi need you to fake date meâ
curse him and his very awful impulse control.
as soon as sunghoon finished his practice he went to the library, figured heâd find you there and apparently he was right.
the book you were reading was long forgotten as you tried to process what you just heard.
ânoâ you replied shortly.
âplease?â he sounded so desperate.
âare you seriously begging right now?â
âyes?â
âthatâs fun, get on your knees and beg moreâ you smirked.
âare you nuts? iâll never do thatâ he frowned and rolled his eyes.
âfine then, pay me for thatâ
âhow much?â
âtwoâ
âdollars?â
âbillionsâ
âhell noâ
âkiss my ass goodbye thenâ you shrugged.
âyouâre unbelievableâ
âsaid the one who barged into the library and started begging me to date himâ
âyeah, itâll help you become popularâ he slightly nodded.
âright, youâre already popular and have multiple fans or whatever, why donât you just ask them?â
âitâll just make things worse!â
âfuck off sunghoon, iâm not going to fake date you and help you because of some stupid lie you toldâ you rolled your eyes and got back to reading the book.
he tried begging you once more but at this point you just decided to ignore him until he left.
âwhat the heck was that?â you asked yourself and shook your head.
âhey y/n!â you heard a voice calling you and you immediately recognized this voice.
it belonged to taesan, your classmate and also your longtime crush. taesanâs quite popular amongst the students, and surprising so, heâs not a rugby player.
youâve made a pros and cons lists about your few old crushes and also made one about your current crush, taesan.
pros? heâs funny, smart, creative, caring, friendly, kind and would prefer to spend his free time in the library with you.
cons?
âhey sunghoon dude! didnât see you there, what are you doing here?â
heâs sunghoonâs best friend. that is a BIG no no for you.
âjust came to check something, studying again?â sunghoon smirked as he looked at you.
did he seriously wait for taesan to come so he could spend more time annoying you?
âyeah, itâs my studying with y/n time, weâve been doing that for a whileâ taesan smiled widely and winked at you.
without even noticing your cheeks started to heat up. but your blushing cheeks were already noticed by someone whoâs definitely going to use that against you.
âright, iâm not going to interrupt you two, enjoy!â sunghoon said as he gave you one last smirk before turning around and leaving.
âisnât he so weird sometimes? i can definitely understand why you hate his gutsâ taesan chuckled and you nodded.
âhow are you today anyway? didnât see you that muchâ he smiled.
âso far so good, you?â
âgreat now that iâm here with youâ
you tried your best to stop your racing heart beats after hearing what he said and making eye contact with him.
you just giggled and opened a book right away, âletâs just start with this book!â
after some time that felt like half an hour to you (but was actually two hours or so) it was time to go back home.
âlet me walk you homeâ taesan suggested.
âitâs okay, i live closeby, if so iâm the one who needs to walk you homeâ you giggled.
âi insistâ
you didnât reply to him and just walked out of the library as he followed you.
âoh hey y/n, taesan!â you stopped your trace when you noticed sunghoon standing right outside the library.
âsunghoon? why are you still here?â taesan asked, emphasizing the last question.
âjust walked by after dropping yeji at her friendâs house, also i promised y/n iâll walk her home, right y/n?â
you looked at him confused but he gave you the âyou better say yes nowâ look, and besides, you didnât want to bother taesan with the long walk.
âright, i completely forgot, iâm really sorry taesan, next time iâll be the one to walk you home!â you said and he nodded.
âdonât worry about it!â he said, quite confused since he never saw the both of you getting along and actually walking home together, even though you live right across each other.
sunghoon took your hand and dragged you away from taesan.
âwhat the fuck park?â
âwalking him home? seriously? your lazy ass could neverâ he teased and you rolled your eyes.
âfuck off sunghoon, why are you really here?â
âiâve got a deal to offerâ he stopped you from walking and you glared at him.
ânoâ
âyou havenât heard it yetâ
âi donât care, itâs a no from me, i can never trust youâ you scoffed and started walking away.
âiâll help you to get close to taesan!â he said and you froze for a second, âi donât need your helpâ
âoh but you doâ he smirked as he figured he got your weakness point, âyouâve been acting awfully trying to hide your little crush on himâ
âwhat do you need?â you asked, half convinced.
âa monthâ he said straightforwardly.
âare youââ
âa month of fake dating and then iâll let you tell everyone you broke up with me and broke my heart and whatever you wantâ he licked his lips, âiâll help you get closer to taesan tooâ
âi need a day to think about itâ you sighed.
âfineâ he said, full of hopes and prayers.
as you arrived you bid your goodbyes for the first time in years, and it never felt so weird as much as it just did.
as you entered the house you took a quick shower and ate, right after that you ran to get your phone a called karina.
âi think you should do it, a month wouldnât be so bad, plus, he did say heâll help you get close to taesanâ she said.
âcan i really trust him though? he ruined my chances with my crush once alreadyâ you groaned.
âyouâre right, donât trust that guyâ
âbut heâs also the only one that could get me close to taesanâ
âright again, trust him fully and agree to that dealâ
âyouâre not helping me at all!!â you complained.
âi donât know bae, i guess that if i was you i wouldâve probably go with what my heart saysâ
âclichĂ© much, arenât we?â
âi didnât know what to say!â
âi guess i justâŠâ
âreally? are you for real? is it really happening right now? i need you to sign this contract right now before you regretâ sunghoonâs eyes widened and his lips formed into a little smile.
you rolled your eyes, âdonât make me regret thisâ
âokay okay, i wonât, letâs just find a spot where we could talkâ he said and took your hand.
he dragged you to an empty classroom and closed the door.
âso,â he spoke, âwe need rulesâ
âno shit sherlockâ
âcan you stop being an actual bitch for a second and hear me out?â he spat and you rolled your eyes.
âiâll be walking you home, mornings and afternoons no matter whatâ he said.
âdoes that really matter? i mean, no one sees usâ you sighed.
âthatâs what you think, my friends are stalkers itâs actually scaryâ
âwhateverâ
âweâll be posting pictures together which means weâre going to have to go on dateââ
âim gonna stop you right thereâ you cut him off middle sentence, âyou can just use pictures from pinterestâ
âwhat?â
âthereâs no chance im going on dates with youâ you argued.
âyou agreed to this fake dating, you need to face the consequencesâ
you groaned and he continued, âkissing is not prohibited, you can kiss me whenever you want, if itâs necessaryâ
you felt like throwing up hearing this sentence.
âwhoâs gonna buy that? just yesterday you were bumping into me and acting like a total bitch in front of everyoneâ you rolled your eyes.
âitâs as simple as that, weâll say weâve been forced by our parents to come as a couple to an event and we had a deep conversation about our past and after a while of reuniting i asked you out and we decided to hide our relationship until nowâ he shrugged.
âwow,â you clapped, âyou thought about it the whole day yesterday didnât you?â
ânoâŠâ he scratched his nape and looked everywhere but at you.
âsureâ you nodded, completely not believing what he just said.
âanyways itâs all settled, weâll be posting a picture today after schoolâ he said and was about to leave the classroom.
âone more thing,â he said, âpda is a must, therefore youâd have to give me your hand and weâd have to go hand in hand to classroomâ
âjust say you want to hold my hand, iâll take that into consideration, but iâm not interestedâ you asked annoyed.
âyou wish someone would actually want to hold your hand out of his own willâ he rolled his eyes.
âyou havenât touched a single soul in your entire lifeâ
âjust shut upâ he sighed.
ânever as long as your annoying ass is right besides meâ
he just groaned and took your hand.
âstarting nowâ he nodded, âitâll make everyone confuse until we reveal our relationshipâ
âyuck, even calling it a relationship is making me want to throw upâ
âhope your stupid brain knows itâs mutual but whatever, just donât act like that when weâre togetherâ
walking through the hallway while everyone is whispering and glancing at you was never a problem to sunghoon, it was a big problem for you though.
you tried letting go of sunghoonâs hand to stop the whispering and glancing but he held you tighter.
âitâs okay, calm down iâm here with youâ he whispered.
as much as youâd like to deny it, it made you feel somewhat safe.
however, itâs the park sunghoon weâre talking about. your worst enemy.
âis that supposed to make me feel better?â you whispered back.
âand weâre here, outside your classroomâ he changed the subject and stopped right outside of your class while everyone else kept looking at the two of you.
âiâll wait for you after classâ he winked and left a peck on your forehead before leaving to his classroom.
you so wished you could wipe it off at the moment. or at least, you think.
âwhat the fuck did i just saw?â karina walked up to you as soon as sunghoon left.
âwe have a lot to catch onâ you sighed and dragged her inside the classroom.
âand you agreed?!?â
âms. karina and ms. y/n, would you like to share to your class what were you talking about?â the teacher knocked on the desk.
âno, weâre sorryâ you said quietly and the teacher went back to teaching.
âyou told me to follow what my heart says!â you whispered-yelled to her.
âi didnât think itâd say to agree to it!!â she replied back.
âwell i did, and now iâm stuck with the worst person everâ
âmaybe heâs not that badâ
âget out karinaâ
âcanât, weâre in the middle of a classâ she shrugged and you groaned.
âso youâre now dating your worst ever enemy, the infamous woman in this highschool, choi y/n?!!â
âyes jake, i donât know why itâs so surprising to youâ sunghoon rolled his eyes as he took a bite from his lunch.
âsurprising only to him? sunghoon, just a few days ago you called her an attention seeker bitch, now youâre telling us youâve been dating for a few months already?â jungwon asked, concerned.
âwell we did great at hiding didnât we? our parents told us we should sign to drama classesâ
ânothing here makes senseâ jay shook his head.
lying to his friends about his whole relationship life? was definitely not and never will be on his list but he couldnât care less about the list anymore.
âlife doesnât make sense, jayâ sunghoon sighed, âit just happened, now i canât stop thinking about her, itâs like i want to spend every minute with herâ
âew, not in front of my saladâ riki gagged.
âalthough it makes no sense to me, iâm happy for you sunghoon, so proud of you for finally getting along with someoneâ sunoo pat his back.
âhey what do you mean by that?â
âfrom childhood friends to childhood enemies to lovers, that sounds like an actual pretty good story genreâ heeseung crossed his arms and nodded.
âcanât believe you havenât told me anything about it!â taesan, who for the first time in a while joined their lunch table, lightly pushed sunghoon, completely in disbelief.
âyouâre right, i shouldâve told you about it beforeâ sunghoon nodded.
sunghoonâs a bad friend. a very, very bad one.
a few weeks ago he had a conversation with who he considers as his best friend, but how could he face him now after this conversation?
âhey hoon! i wanted to ask you somethingâ taesan bit his lips, a bit anxious to start the conversation.
âyeah dude, whatâs up?â he asked.
âi know you and y/n areâŠ.not on good terms, but i actually started spending some time with her and iâm really interested in herâ his eyes lit up from excitement just by talking about you, âwanted to ask you if thatâs okay that, you knowâŠ.â
âyeah for sure! even though i hate this person with all my heart, i canât decided on your life, canât see how and why youâre interested in her but whatever, itâs yoursâ sunghoon shrugged.
âthanks sunghoon, iâm really glad i got you as my friendâ taesan hugged sunghoon tightly.
sunghoon definitely knew about taesanâs little crush about you, and the day he told you that taesan has a little crush, he actually meant you.
back to today, sunghoon feels like his whole life was tearing apart.
how could he betray his friend like that? after everything taesan did to him. from helping him with studies to even paying for the things he couldnât.
taesan shook his head and smiled weakly, âwhatever makes you happy sunghoonâ he said.
sunghoon was expecting him to shout at him and get mad about it, but was actually surprised he took it well somehow.
âiâm doing this for you tooâ sunghoon thought, after all, he has the perfect plan for taesan and y/n.
âthanks taesanâ sunghoon hugged him tightly and pat his back as a sign for asking for forgiveness.
âthatâs not gonna work, too many people are looking at usâ you complained as soon as you got out of your last class for the day and noticed sunghoon who was already waiting for you outside.
âwith popularity comes the consequencesâ he shrugged and you rolled your eyes.
âenjoy lovebirds!â jay shouted as he walked past you.
âletâs goâ he extended his hand out for you to hold it but you shook your head.
âi promised taesan iâll review his essay he wroteâ
âyou can do it tomorrowââ âcanât, plus you said youâll help me with taesan, we can go on your stupid fake date laterâ
sunghoon rolled his eyes and sighed, âfine, iâll walk you to the libraryâ
when he noticed you smiling he couldnât help but feel that weird feeling of excitement, but then he realized you were not smiling because of him.
âhey y/n!â taesan smiled warmly at you when he noticed you, âand sunghoonâ he added quietly.
âhey taesanâ you called with a wider smile on your face and sunghoon nodded.
âiâll pick you up later thenâ he said and walked away.
âsoâŠyou and sunghoon huh?â taesan asked.
âugh, donât evenâ i felt everyoneâs eyes on me throughout the whole dayâ you groaned.
âyou donât seem that happy with thatâ
âbecause iâm not! iâm so tired of it already, i shouldâve known not to agree to that dealâ
âwhat deal?â
âuhhhhâ you freaked out, how stupid can you actually be??
ânothing!! no dealâ you giggled nervously.
âif you say soâ he shrugged and opened his laptop to show you his essay.
âwhy dont you just tell him?â karina asked you over the phone.
âand what will i say if he asks why i agreed to the deal?â
âsimple, âi did it because i want sunghoon to help me date youâ, like thatâ
âsure, itâs that easyâ you rolled your eyes.
âhow was your first day dating sunghoon anyway?â
âhe took me to get some ice cream, he actually remembers my favorite tasteâ
âyeah i saw on your instagram story, if i didnât happen to know that this is all fake iâd actually believe itâ she said teasingly.
âcanât believe iâm saying this butâ you sighed, âheâs not that bad to hang out withâ
you expected a reply from her right away but all you heard was silence.
âkarina?â
âi canât believe this conversation is not being recordedâ she finally spoke.
âforget that i said thaââ âno no no! please continueâ
âwellâŠ.he was actually super nice and even paid for my ice cream, even found a nice spot and brought me his jacket since it was starting to get coldâ you said calmly.
ây/nâ
âhm?â
âyou might end up falling in love with him instead of taesanâ she said and you scoffed.
âare you forgetting that he literally ruined my life?â
âi said what i said!â she argued.
eventually you ended the call and drifted off to dreamland.
âsoâŠ.â
a few days passed since you revealed your (fake) relationship and today was the first day you sat with seven other people at your lunch table.
âyou and sunghooââ
âstop itâ
âsunghoon and yoââ
âshut it!â
sunghoonâs friends tried to ease up the awkward situation but were shut off by you and sunghoon.
âwe just think itâs weird thatâs all!! itâll pass sooner or laterâ jay chuckled.
âso y/n, howâs life?â riki asked.
âseriously?â sunghoon raised his brow.
âbabe, itâs okay,â you almost gagged after using the nickname on sunghoon, âlifeâs fun, you never know which surprises awaits for youâ
you raised sunghoonâs hand and showed everyone your locked hands.
âew, donât need to use those nicknames and act all cheesy hereâ jake teased.
âyou wanted to meet my girlfriend didnât you? here she isâ sunghoon spoke.
thatâs when it got to you. sunghoon lied to his friends about having a girlfriend! why did he choose you though? out of hundreds of students.
âyouâre rightâ heeseung nodded, âif you already know each other so well, why donât we ask you questions about sunghoon and you answer?â
âbaby you donât have toââ âitâs okay, hit me with the questionsâ
âsunghoonâs favorite color?â
âwhiteâ
âhis favorite seasonâ
âused to be winter, itâs autumn nowâ
âfavorite ice cream flavor?â
âumâ you froze for a second.
âah ha! got youâ
âcoffeeâ
âaw man, you suck!â riki said in disappointment after you answered all the questions correctly.
sunghoon in the meantime was busy staring at you and daydreaming.
when did you become so pretty? with your cute eyes that lit up every time you answered a question correctly, and your lips that formed into a smile when you noticed you won over his friendâs questions.
how come you remember those details about him as well?
he had tons of questions, but curse his inability to communicate well, heâll probably leave those questions unanswered.
the only thing he does know, is that heâs scared to fall in love with you.
âbabe? are you ready to go? let me walk you to the field now, you have practiceâ
you called him and he zoned out, for a second there he really forgot this is all fake.
the way youâd look at him and call him babe, it made him feel so weird, he had never felt like that before.
âyeahâ he slightly nodded and got up.
when both of you arrived at the field he stopped in front of you and frowned.
âwhat if iâll just take you on a date instead of practice?â he asked.
âsunghoon what the fuck? weâre all alone here nobody sees you, you donât need to act all lovey doveyâ you snapped back.
ârightâ he said, almost sounding too disappointed.
âiâll go back now to the library, taesanâs waitingâ you smiled and started walking away.
âpull yourself together sunghoonâ he sighed and entered the field.
âheyâ you called taesan as you saw him already sitting at your usual library desk.
âhey y/n!â he called you back excitedly.
âmissed being with you after school, i went on too many dates with sunghoon latelyâ you sighed.
âyeahâ he whispered, you could hear a bit of disappointment in his voice but he shrugged it off quickly, âhey how about instead of studying weâll go hang out, i got pretty tired of reading todayâ
âsure! of course, i would love to!!â you excitedly replied.
taesan got up and held your hand, âletâs go watch some moviesâ
practice ended and sunghoon went straight to the library without even showering first. he couldnât wait telling you how his friends couldnât stop talking about you and praising your (again, fake) relationship.
he looked at the clock and it was usually around the time you and taesan would finish and get out, only this time you were nowhere to be found.
sunghoon started to freak out, what if something bad happened to you? did taesan leave you alone? what if he did something bad to you?
no, no. sunghoon was just freaking out.
he tried calling you, but your phone was turned off, you werenât available.
he ran all the way to your home and asked your mother if she happened to see you, but got a negative answer.
âwhy, is she missing?â your mother asked and tried to stay calm.
âno of course not!â sunghoon awkwardly said, âweâre just playing hide and seek thatâs all, i was wondering if she walked all the way here to hide in her roomâ
seriously sunghoon? thatâs the best thing you got?
âalright, have fun!â it seemed like it made your mom believe him!
ây/n where the fuck are you?â he whispered to himself.
he decided to call taesan, âif heâs not answering i sweaââ
âhey dude, whatâs up?â his friend on the other line answered calmly.
âdo you happen to know where y/n is?â he straightforwardly asked.
âyeah, sheâs right next to me, didnât she tell you weâre going to watch some movies?â taesanâs voice stayed calm but on the inside he was smirking.
taesan 1, sunghoon 0.
âshe probably forgot or somethingâ sunghoon giggled, âwhen do you plan on coming back?â
âdonât know, but donât worry dude, iâll make sure she gets home safelyâ
âyeah, okayâ sunghoon said and ended the call.
âwho was that?â you asked.
âyour boyfriend, didnât you tell him weâre here?â
âoh no, i forgot about itâ
âyeah he was worried sickâ
âi think we should head back nowâ you let out a sigh.
âokay, sureâ he nodded and both of you got up.
you donât know why you said it instead of staying the whole night just watching random movies with your longtime crush.
what the hell did this fake dating with sunghoon do to you?
taesan walked you until it was already safe for you to walk alone, you argued with him that itâs fine and your house was a minute away, he tried insisting but you didnât budge.
both of you knew why you wanted to walk over to your house alone.
sunghoon 1, taesan 1.
you really tried using you muscle memory and walk to your door with your eyes closed so you wonât have to meet withâ
âwell who do we have hereâ
âi really didnât want to see you here nowâ you sighed and opened your eyes.
âi was worried sick! why didnât you just send me a text or whatever?â he spit out and you never really realized how irritating his voice is until now.
âwhat are you? my mom? why do i have to tell you my whereabouts?â you snapped.
âweâre dating, of courseââ âhell no weâre not, this whole thing is fake and you know it, i dont owe you shit, parkâ
for the first time sunghoon was stunned and speechless because of you. he did not know what to say or even process what the hell just happened. and why the fuck was he so annoyed by you going to the movies with taesan?
âif you dont have anything to say just goâ you sighed and just like that he left.
you finally got inside your room and laid on your bed, thinking about your last events and how stupid it was of you to go home early because of that fucking rat who was âworriedâ over you.
your phone buzzed and when you looked at the caller ID you smiled.
âjust checking that you arrived safelyâ
âiâm not a five years old kid taesan,â you chuckled and got up to sit on the edge of your bed, âbesides, it was a minute walk from where you left meâ
âalright, was just checking if you were still aliveâ he giggled.
âhey taesanâ
âhm?â
âletâs hang out more, i had real fun todayâ
âall i was just asking is for you to text me if thereâs a change of plans! i was really worried because i knew i had to pick you up but you were nowhere to be seenâ that is how your morning started, for the past few days it because a routine for you to have a morning and after school walk with sunghoon, and each morning youâd have a little fight.
this time, even though you hate to admit it, heâs right.
âyouâre right, i shouldâve told you beforehand, i just got super excited to go out with taesan so i forgot about it, besides youâre supposed to be happy for me, iâm finally getting closer to my crushâ you huffed.
âthank you, and yeah, iâm super happyâ he rolled his eyes and you nodded.
âanother thing, heeseungâs brother is having a wedding in less than a month and we have to go there together, as a coupleâ he said, âafter the wedding weâll plan the break up and will part our waysâ
âsounds like a plan to meâ you shrugged.
âno matter what happens, please just show up to his brotherâs wedding, i think heeseung already favors you so much, he always did but i always warned him not to get too close to youâ
âobviously you didâ you rolled your eyes, âbut i will do it, for him and for his happinessâ
âthank youâ he said sincerely.
âwow, didnt know you could be genuineâ
âjust shut up and continue to walkâ
two weeks passed and as much as you hate to admit it, dating sunghoon park isnât something that bad.
you went to all kinds of âdatesâ together, that one amusement park date was your favorite.
âno no no no! donât go too high, y/n hold my hand tight!â he yelled on one of the roller coasters you forced him to get on, âi think iâm gonna throw up oh no, here it comes! i hate it hereâ
while he was busy yelling, you were busy laughing your ass off at him. he was cute, you admit.
it reminded you of that time you went to an amusement park together when you were kids, he remained the same, nothing changed.
as you got tired of the amusement park, he took you to a restaurant and both of you sat one in front of the other.
âi like it here, this place is designed so beautifullyâ you said.
ânot as beautiful as youâ he mumbled.
âhm?â you asked and he shook his head, ânothingâ
âyou know, it wasnât so bad today, i really had funâ he started speaking, âreminded me of our childhoodâ
âyeah, i thought about that tooâ you nodded.
âi kinda miss itâ i kinda miss you, he wanted to say, but he felt like itâd be too much.
sunghoon that day realized his strong feelings for you never left, and probably never will. your past antics were long forgotten and all he wanted was to hold you in his arms and tell you how much he loves you, and he have always had.
âi kinda miss it tooâ you replied and it was like an unspoken tension between the two of you.
none of you would talk after that and just walked home in silence, but it was a comforting one.
âgirl, heâs super like, into you, and youâre so like, into him tooâ karina said after you told her about the amusement park date.
âam not! iâve been actually going out with taesan a lot, i really really like himâ you smiled.
âwhatever you say girl!â
âi actually am going to hang out with taesan today, iâll update you on everything, bye baeâ you smiled and ended the call to get ready for your hangout with taesan.
an hour later he sent you a text that heâs already waiting and you got out of your house right away.
âyou look, really prettyâ taesan was being so stunned by your beauty that he forgot how to talk.
âthank youâ you smiled, âso, where are we going?â
âa new arcade just opened and i know how much you love arcades so i just thought of testing it outâ
âoh my god you really do know me so well!!â you took out your phone to text sunghoon about your whereabouts.
you became more responsible and it suddenly didnât bother you as much to text him about it, it almost became a habit of you.
âoff to the new arcade that opened up with taesan, donât you worry about meâ you texted him and closed your phone.
as you arrived your eyes roamed around the big arcade and suddenly you looked like a five years old child who just got their first ever vanilla ice cream.
âwhat are we waiting for? letâs just go!!â taesan cheered and you clapped.
after hours and hours of playing you both went to sit down by the nearest park there.
âit was so fun today, we have to do it again!â you grinned and taesan nodded.
it suddenly became so quiet and you noticed taesan was staring at you for too long.
âare you okay?â
âi know about you and sunghoon,â he spoke, âabout your fake dating thingâ
you were too stunned to speak.
âi heard you arguing on the same day we went to the movies, i wanted to check on you if you arrived safely but i noticed you and sunghoon talking and i couldnât help but eavesdropâ he shrugged.
âohâ was all you could let out.
âi was actually glad to find out that this whole thing with you and sunghoon was fakeâ
âwhat do you meaââ âi like you y/n, a lotâ he cut you middle sentence and you felt so weird hearing his confession.
âoh! there you are!â before you could even respond to taesan you heard a voice calling the both of you.
you turned around and saw the one and only, park sunghoon. what was he doing here?
a few days ago taesan asked to meet up with sunghoon. he confessed to him about knowing your fake relationship and told sunghoon he was going to confess to you.
âi like y/n, a lot, you already know thatâ he said.
âwhatâs your plan?â sunghoon asked.
âasking her out after going to that new arcadeâ he exposed his plan, and sunghoonâs cue to stop the confession was a simple text from you about your whereabouts.
sunghoon for the second time chose to be a shitty and egoistic ass friend, and prevent his so called âbest friendâ from confessing to you.
but of course sunghoon wouldnât tell you all of that.
âme and y/n were planning to go on a date today! i guess she forgotâ sunghoon smirked.
âcut it sunghoon, i know youâre not really datingâ taesan clenched his jaw.
âdoesnât matter, i still made us a reservation for this new restaurantâ sunghoon rolled his eyes and dragged you away.
you were too shocked by the whole scene that only when you arrived back to your home you realized what happened.
âdid you justââ you sighed, âruined my fucking chance with taesan?â you felt your blood starting to boil.
âwhat do you mean?â he asked confused.
âtaesan just fucking confessed and you just fucking showed up and dragged me away, what the fuck were you thinking?â you shout.
ây/n iââ
âyou what, sunghoon? want to ruin my life once again? just like you did with my painting from seventh grade and my crush from eighth grade?â you snapped.
âyou seriously still hold that against me? we were in seventh grade for godâs sake!â
âand it ruined my life ever since then! did you become your familyâs disappointment? because i did, oh! and funny enough, not only that seventh grade made them disappointed in me, but also my stupid crush on eighth grade that you decided to snitch on!â you looked at him in disbelief.
âwhat about my crush from nineth grade then, huh? not only you lied to her and told her i spread the rumors about her, you made me look like the bad guy and the other students refused to talk to me for months! you basically made everyone back away from me!â
âand rightfully soâ you rolled your eyes.
ây/n, lookâ sunghoon ran his hands through his hair and sighed,
âsave it park, i donât want to hear from you ever again, i had a blast ignoring you for the last few years and iâll continue having a blast if itâll continue that wayâ you lied through your teeth, âweâll only talk when necessary and cut ties after heeseungâs brotherâs weddingâ
ây/nâ sunghoon called you again but you already walked away and entered your house.
sunghoon knows he fucked up, and he realized there were so many miscommunications between the two of you over the past few years and he didnât know how to fix it.
meanwhile you, the minute you stepped inside your room and closed the door, you started crying.
you didnât know how to feel with yourself. you were glad that sunghoon cut you off before you could answer taesan, because surprisingly so, you were about to reject him.
taesan is a nice guy, he really is, and he really was your longtime crush, until your old crush entered your life again.
you realized you gained back your feelings the moment sunghoon opened his mouth to genuinely talk with you, in fact, those feelings never really left.
you found yourself so focused on the way that his dimples would always show while smiling and talking to you, or the way his fangs would show up with every smile he gives you.
but you couldnât help but let your blood boil after his whole âiâm not going to let y/n have another chance with someoneâ show, it made you think about your past and you hated it.
the next few weeks felt normal to everyone but you, sunghoon and taesan.
you and sunghoon acted as if nothing happened between the two of you when someone you know happened to be around.
when you two were alone? hell, you wonât even shoot a glance at him.
and as for you and taesan, you told him itâd be better if the both of you would take a short break for a while, just for you to adjust everything.
sunghoon refused to let go of you so easily once again, he tried everything, calling, texting, even calling your parents to ask if you were home and maybe they can tell you to pick your constantly ringing phone up.
it all felt like a deja vu now, but not the good one. you were getting distant again and it scared him that the same thing will happen yet again.
âthank you for comingâ sunghoon welcomed the person into his house.
âwhy are you so stressed? oh no donât tell me you got someone pregnantâ
âjay, i sometimes wonder if your last braincells are just off to go travel or somethingâ sunghoon groaned.
âwell, you seem so tense, what is it?â
sunghoon decided to tell jay everything from A to Z, theyâve been best friends for long and he feels like he can trust him wholeheartedly, plus he had to get some help from someone.
âi knew it the moment you told me both of you are dating! it felt so unrealâ
âthanks a lot jay, it really helpsâ
âwell, i think im getting a little deja vu for eighth gradeâ
âexactly! i donât want this to happen again! i know i fucked up but iâŠ.â sunghoon sighed, âiâm willing to do everything as long as i wonât lose herâ
âokay first of all, ew dude thatâs so cringyâ jay said in disgust, âsecond, i think you just need to give her some time, iâm sure that if you still havenât heard about her and taesan dating, she might as well was about to reject himâ
âthen why would she get so angry at me? it doesnât make senseâ
âyou took a whole ass opportunity from her to try and sort her things out, of course sheâd be pissedâ
ârightâ
âtry to talk with karina maybe, she might help you out on this oneâ jay pat his friendâs shoulder, âbesides, the wedding is in a few days and you told me you made her promise you to show up no matter what, itâs not like she can run away from you for longâ
âi hate that youâre so rightâ sunghoon groaned and jay shrugged, âiâm just saying whatever comes to my mind, whenever it comes to my mindâ
âwhat do you want, park?â
âwow you really sound like y/n nowâ sunghoon sighed as he saw karina looking at him uninterested, âi guess she already told you what happenedâ
âyes, she didâ she also told me sheâs scared because she actually has feelings for you, she wanted to say. but its not her place to say it anyway.
âhowâŠ.is she doing?â he asked quietly.
âwhy do you care?â
âoh no please donât make it harder than it already isâ he mumbled under his breath.
âbecause, i need to talk with her, a serious conversationâ
âoh no donât tell me you caught feelingsâ
âhow did youâ nevermind, please tell her that iâll be waiting for her, and i really want to sort things out between usâ he sounded so desperate it scared karina.
âiâll see what i can doâ karina nodded and he bit his lips and smiled.
âthank you, thank you, thank you, thankââ âi get it you can go now!â
he nodded as he got his bag and went for another practice.
âhey bae how are you doing today?â karina hugged you as she sat on your bed.
ever since your last encounter with sunghoon you started missing a few classes here and there, you didnât really feel like going to school and seeing sunghoon anyway. thatâs why karina came to check up on you.
âsame as usual, i donât knowâ
âi know what youâre thinkingâ she said and you looked at her creeped out.
ârelax, itâs nothing scaryâ she laughed, âi just know youâre thinking about himâ
âam not!â you argued.
âyeah, and iâm queen elizabethâ
you canât stop thinking about sunghoon, she wasnât lying really.
you realized how messed up your whole story was. you need answers from him, you need the apology youâve been waiting to hear, the confirmation that he misses you as much as you miss him. you need to hold him tight and never let him go again.
âfine, you got meâ you sighed.
you wish youâd know how to sort things out without going crazy.
âhe came up to me today,â she said and your eyes sparkled, âhe asked me about you, heâs been so desperate to talk with you, he looked and sounded really sincereâ
âi donât know karina, iâm not sure if iâm ready to face him without getting angry again, itâs just that whenever i see him my blood just starts to boil when i think about our pastâ
âthatâs your problem, you refuse to let go of your pastâ she put her hand on your shoulder, âjust let it go, and get the answers and confirmation you need from himâ
you decided not to show up at school ever since your conversation with karina.
sunghoon tried checking up on you multiple times but each time youâd lie to your mother who opened the door for him and told her to tell him that youâre sick. both of you knew it was wrong.
sunghoon was going crazy, his friends couldnât stop asking about you and about your whereabouts and he could only lie and say that youâve got really sick and that heâs been taking care of you.
he asked karina about you again and again, until she got tired and told him everything, about your wellbeing and your health.
he was so worried for you it surprised her, he was really acting as if heâs your real boyfriend.
karina would lie if she said she didnât confuse him as your boyfriend for a while.
âhereâ sunghoon handed karina a notebook.
âwhatâs that?â she asked.
âi took some notes on this class, give it to y/n pleaseâ
âsunghoon, iâm not some kind ofââ
âi know i know youâre not a delivery guy but, i donât know how to give it to her in any other wayâ he sighed.
oh the poor guy, she really pities him.
wedding day came and sunghoon was going back and forth in his room.
will you be coming? should he pick you up? you promised him! if not for him then for heeseung!
at the end, jay called him and told him it was becoming too late and he should just come without you.
sunghoon left his house with a heavy heart and empty hands, that were supposed to hold you tightly and close to him.
âhey hoon! you came!!â heeseung welcomed his friend with a hug and a big smile over his face.
âwhereâs y/n?â he asked.
âoh y/n, she really wanted to come butââ âbut what?â he was cut off by someone else.
when he looked over his shoulder he found you, walking over to them and putting your hands together on sunghoonâs right shoulder.
âi was getting ready and it took me too long to come, so i just told sunghoon to go away so he wonât be late because of meâ you smiled and planted a kiss on sunghoonâs cheek.
âiâm so glad you came!!â heeseung smiled widely and hugged you tightly.
sunghoon was still shocked seeing you there, first you walked in, looking gorgeous than ever in the outfit you put on yourself, then you went and put your hands over his shoulder and lastly, you kiss his cheek.
he froze and zoned out for a few seconds until you waved your hands in front of him.
âletâs get in! itâs about to startâ you were about to walk in but sunghoon was quick enough to pull you back to him.
he was holding your waist and pulling you closer to him.
âfirst, you walk in here, looking prettier than any other person here, no offense to the bride, then you smile and kiss my cheeks. i donât understand, whatâs happening?â he asked, his face is closer than ever to yours.
âi donât want to open it up nowââ âif not now then when?â
you sighed and closed your eyes.
âi only have one questionâ
âshootâ
âdid you really regret what you did back then?â
âof course i did, i still doâ he reached your hand to hold it, âlook at where it got usâ
âwhy did you ruin my chance with my crush back then?â
âyou said only one questionâ
âokay so maybe now i have moreâ
âi did it,â sunghoon stayed quiet for a second, is this the right time to confess? âbecause i really liked you, and i still doâ fuck it.
âwhen we started to fake dating i realized those feelings never left, everytime i look at you i just cant help it but smile, i think itâs way beyond just âlike youâ, i love you y/nâ he let go of his hold on your waist and held both of your hands in his.
you stopped breathing for a second as you tried to process what you just heard.
âpark sunghoonâ you whispered and he hummed.
âiâm here babyâ
âi hate youâ you said and sunghoon could swear his heart dropped.
âi hate you for making me hate you so much to the point it ruined our friendship for so longâ you continued, âyou couldâve confessed your feelings and we couldâve been the best highschool couple by nowâ
sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows, he got so confused by your words.
âif you still didnât get it, i happen to love you too, you dumbassâ you laughed.
without giving you a warning he pulled you into a kiss with a big grin on his face.
it was a desperate kiss, as if he was waiting to do this for so long. both of you didnât want to part away but you did eventually because of the lack of oxygen.
âi canât believe we fucked this up because of this stupid painting in seventh gradeâ that was the first thing he said afterwards.
âyou fucked this up and itâs not just a stupid painting!!â you argued and he laughed as he hugged you tightly.
âiâm joking, iâm really sorry for that, and for the crush thing in eighth grade tooâ he grinned, âbut he was just not good for you, you had me the whole time and still wanted himâ
you kissed him again and smiled.
âi was too blind i guessâ
âcan you two cut it off lovebirds? the wedding is about to startâ both of you turned your heads and saw annoyed jay standing in front of you.
âsorry! comingâ both of you said at the same time.
as you sat one next to each other, sunghoon interlocked your fingers together.
âheyâ he whispered and you hummed.
âhearing âi love youâ from you really warmed my heartâ he smiled, âjust letting you knowâ
âoh really?â you asked and he nodded.
âi love youâ you kissed his cheek.
âiâll keep saying this until youâll get tired of itâ
âwhich is basically neverâ
jay groaned and turned to look at the both of you âcan you please just stop being so lovey dovey oh my godâ
âyou were exactly like that on your first days with your girlfriend stop being such an attention seekerâ jake rolled his eyes and jay hit him.
âshhhh!! why donât we just pay attention to heeseung thatâs crying right there?â
âjust took a picture! will definitely use it to blackmail him!â
âpoor little thing only wanted to get emotional in his brotherâs weddingâ
âsoon to be us at sunghoonâs and y/nâs weddingâ
and they lived happily ever after! i mean, as much as you can when you have those six people as your friends and karinaâs nonstop questions about future kids.

the morning started out as it always does.
your alarm wakes you up, you get ready for school, say goodbye to your mom, and maybe grab a quick snack before heading out and driving to school. the usual routine.
it's your senior year, it's supposed to be the best year of high school. though, so far it has been very disappointing. you blame yourself for not being as extroverted as you hoped to be during your freshman year, now you don't have as many friends as middle school you had envisioned.
but you do have robin.
she's been your closest friend throughout the years, having met her in freshman year in the library, where you spent your lunchtime at, and you're okay with just having one close friend. you've come to peace with that. robin has been the bestest friend you've ever had, she's became a confidant, and you never have to put up a front with her. it's easy to talk to her, she has that sort of power somehow. what usually takes you a few weeks to become comfortable with someone new, it had only been a mere few days before being totally comfortable with robin.
as you walk into the school, you walk to your locker, seeing her right beside it.
"hey robin," you smile at her as she moves out the way for you, "good morning."
she returns your smile with her shoulder to the locker beside your own, one bookbag strap hanging from the other, "goood morning!"
you grab the materials you need for the first class of the day, "what's got you so happy this early?" you yawn.
robin shrugs, "can't a woman just be happy to see her best friend?"
rolling your eyes playfully, "of course you can!" you smirk at her, closing the locker and adjusting your bag on your shoulder, "...but maybe it has to do with a certain bandmate of yours?" you whisper.
she gasps, whispering back, "what! no. definitely not, definitely did not talk to her just a few minutes ago."
you laugh as the bell rings, signaling the start of the day.
"guess i'll see you at lunch?"
she nods, "can we go to the cafeteria today instead of the library? forgot my lunch today, woke up late."
you both begin to walk to the direction of your classes, "yeah that's fine, see you there!" giving her a side hug, you both go your separate ways.
it's now your class before lunch, history.
the day has felt longer than usual. you can't wait for it to be over and have your after school nap.
dropping your bag beside your desk, you sit and take out your notebook for the class.
the other students come walking in, he sits in his usual spot behind you.
you sit up straighter, god i'm so embarrassing.
usually, you hate having to have people sit behind you. it always feels like their watching your every move. of course, it's not true, but you can't help but think it. it's why you always sit in the back. but unfortunately, those seats were taken when you had walked in the first day of this class.
it's even worse when you think the person behind you is cute.
you move your hair to your shoulders, hoping it covers the sight to your notebook. you're just shading in the margins.
you look up when the teacher gets up from his desk, class is about to start.
"alright class, let's get started."
he walks over to the door and shuts it, and begins taking attendance.
"well, for today it'll be fairly easy. you won't hear me talk much today," the class let's out sighs of relief, the jocks who get along with him laugh playfully, "alright, alright. you won't be doing that after what i tell you."
oh no. you already know what he's about to say.
"we'll be doing a project! you'll be grouped up in pairs." immediately people begin to look at one another, already knowing who they want to be paired with, you look around, you don't really talk to anyone in that class. though, nancy wheeler has been kind to you, hopefully she'd want to pair up with you. but probably not, since barb and jonathan is in this class too. you can still hope though. any of them!
"before you get excited, i'll be the one assigning groups. it'll be at random."
now, the class really does let out sounds of disappointment and dissatisfaction.
"i told you, you wouldn't like it!" he laughs and clears his throat and goes back to his desk, grabbing a piece of paper and going back to leaning on his podium.
"alright, let's see here." he goes on to list the pairings, you anxiously wait for your name to be called.
please. please, please, pair me with nancy. or barb. or jonathan.
"nancy wheeler and-" please! "barbara holland."
well, okay. that's fine, who else is left? you'd been so caught up in waiting for your name that you hadn't kept up with who was called and who hasn't. jonathan! he hasnât been called yet. please, please, please-
"y/n l/n and-" oh shit, that's you. "eddie munson."
oh shit, he's behind you.
the girl in front of you turns around and whispers to you, "good luck."
should you turn around? if you don't what if he thinks you're upset about being paired with him? you should probably turn around, the teacher keeps listing names, and you look back briefly.
he's already looking at you and you awkwardly make eye contact; you give a small smile and turn back around. okay that wasn't so bad right? dang it. you've tried your hardest to not talk to him. but if you think someone's cute you should want to talk to them, right? wrong. you never know what to say when you like someone, how can you even like someone without talking to them? you don't know, but it happened anyway. and now you're basically being forced to talk to him.
robin's going to love this.
"okay, now that you know who your partners are, i'll talk about what this project will be about. you and your partners will come up with a topic, it'll have to be a significant part of history. you'll make a presentation where both will have to speak in front of the class. you can bring in photos, poster boards, anything to aid the presentations. it's not necessary, but it could earn you extra points!"
he looks over to the clock on the wall, "... i'll give you until the end of class, which is about," he looks down to his wristwatch to double check, "40 minutes from now, to come up with a topic, come to my desk to let me know you've come up with something before leaving class, please."
clapping his hands together, he sighs, "alright! pair up!"
everyone begins to move to be with their partners, darn it. all you have to do is turn around. it's not that big a deal. as nervous as you are to talk to eddie, your grade matters more than a silly crush.
you turn around in your seat, grabbing your notebook and putting it in your lap. finally looking up you see him tapping his pencil on his desk, also looking up. the awkward eye contact again, awkward to you at least.
okay. maybe you can fail one project.
who are you kidding, your parents would look at you crazy if you came home with a failing grade.
"hey." you finally say, giving him another shy smile. god damn it why are you so awkward.
he nods, "hey." he leans onto his elbows, looking away, "it's alright if you wanna switch partners y'know? or if you wanna work alone, or something."
you look at him in surprise, "no! it's fine. i don't mind working with you, sorry if i gave that impression." furrowing your eyebrows, dang it maybe your nervousness made him think that.
he looks back to you, "really? i wouldn't want to bring your grade down, straight A student." he smiles. okay, now he's just messing with you.
you can't help the heat that rushes to your cheeks, so he must know about you then? how does he know that?
"funny that you think i would let that happen." you laugh.
he leans back onto his chair, arms now crossed on the table. "alright then, are you sure you wanna be my partner, then?" he looks at you, eyebrows raised.
"yes, i'm sure." you now lean on his desk, arms also crossed.
"do you have any ideas for our topic?" you grab the notebook from your lap, grab a pencil, and put it in between you both on the desk.
he sits up now, leaning on the desk, mirroring your actions.
oh no, he's close now, breathe.
he scratches the back of his neck, "uh... not really."
"alright, that's fine. uhm," you look at the clock, "we have about 35? 30? minutes, so we have time. we should just pick a few things and then we can pick the one we like best, yeah?" you write in your notebook, ideas, and underline it. you look back up and find eddie looking down at your notebook before looking back up as well.
"yeah, that sounds like a good idea."
you tap your pencil and bite your lip, thinking.
"hmm... we could do like the great depression or something." you murmur and write it down.
as you have your head down to write it, you miss eddie's panicked gaze. he's never really had much care for these types of things since usually whoever he's partnered with doesn't even bother talking to him and do it all themselves, doesn't even give him the chance to contribute. he quickly tries to think so that he can add something too.
"uh, the- what about the american revolution? or something? i dunno."
you look back up, "yeah! you wanna write that?"
you offer the pencil to him, "sure." he takes it, turning the notebook towards him, feeling a bit insecure about his handwriting compared to yours that's above his own. it isn't the neatest, and he never really cared about it, but he can't help it when you look at him like that.
the rest of the time goes by like that, going back and forth with ideas, your notebook page filled with both your handwriting.
"okay, we have like 10 minutes left. do you have a favorite?"
you tilt your head as you wait for an answer.
"uh," he bites his lip as he looks down at the list, "the invention of the printing press?" to be honest he just picked a random one.
"cool! i'm alright with that." you smile as you put a small star beside the idea.
"hmm... would you want to do a poster board? or anything?"
no, honestly he would not. but he looks at you and can tell that you really would, anything that would earn extra points, right? he smiles.
"i wouldn't mind it. i could buy the stuff for it." he doesn't have the money for it, but he'll just have to sell more of his stuff for it.
"really? no that's okay, i'm the one that wanted to do it."
"nooo," he gives you a pointed look, playfully scolding you, "i'll buy it. what do we need for that?" he plays with the end of his hair twisting it in front of his face. a nervous habit of his, you make him nervous. not that you realize.
"well, the board, some markers, we could use mine since i already have some, and some glue. we could print out the stuff we need at the library, once we find out whatever we need to print."
"alrighty then. we made a lot of progress today then, huh? i'm the best partner you could have! we're really an unstoppable duo, right here." he puts his hand up for a high-five.
you give him the high-five, ignoring the tingly feeling on your hand, and it wasn't from the impact.
"oh yeah, totally." you laugh.
"i don't like that tone." he squints at you.
"what do you mean? i'm serious! we are the best duo." you smile.
"alright, i believe you." he smiles and stretches.
the bell rings, and it feels like suddenly the day went by too fast now.
you stand and grab your things, writing your names on an index card and the topic for the project.
eddie stands as well, about to say something but you beat him to it.
"let's go turn in our topic."
he usually is out the door when they do this, okay.
you both walk to the teachers desk, you smile and give him the index card.
he takes it and looks up with a smile, "great topic!" he looks over at eddie, "hopefully she rubs off on you!"
you frown and look over at eddie, who gives him a sarcastic smile and nod.
you both walk out the classroom, "do you have lunch after this?" he asks.
you stop in your tracks, about to walk to the cafeteria to meet robin.
"yeah i do, do you?"
"yup." he smiles and walks beside you, making your way to the cafeteria.
"y'know i was always scared to talk to you." he gives you a side eye, before looking straight again.
"what? of me?" you look over at him incredulously.
"oh, totally. thought you were scary, y'know being a smarty pants and all."
ah, so he's messing with you. again.
"ha ha," you roll your eyes, though you're smiling, "very funny."
"you know those candies? what're they called? smarties? yeah, that's you."
"what? it's a candy!" you laugh.
"so? that's still you."
"okay, okay. i'm not that smart alright?" you shake your head, still smiling. you can't stop smiling.
he looks at you like you're crazy. "you're kidding, right? don't you have like, the highest grade in the class?"
you shrug, feeling shy. "could be better, though."
the cafeteria is in view now, and you desperately need to change the subject. "well, guess this is where we go our separate ways." you sigh dramatically.
"i guess so." he breaks eye contact and looks around, "you could uh, sit at our table. if you want."
"oh! uh... i wouldn't want to bother-" "you wouldn't be."
you smile at him and he swears he can hear his heat beating out his chest right now.
"thank you. but i was gonna meet with my friend robin. i'll see you tomorrow in class, though."
"right, yeah, that's fine. see you tomorrow." he opens the door to the cafeteria and dramatically makes way for you to pass through.
you wave him goodbye as he makes way to his groups table, you see robin at your usual spot.
oh you aren't going to hear the end of this.
