Once again mentally transporting the dnd party into a piece of media that I like (this time it is monster hunter)
#specifically imagining them as one of those npc groups you can meet sometimes in the villages#sir reginald would have very bulky armor of some kind and have a hammer#chag dag bragston would use either a bow or a bowgun and her armor would have to be easy to move in#also ideally would have a scarf#and extra ideally her weapon would be part of the food weapon set#auris my beloved auris. dual blades or bow. mostly for inflicting statuses. his armor should look flowy#narin would be dual blades or light bowgun. g rank pukei pukei armor but with a plague mask like the hr male pukei armor gets#reginald is a damage dealer 100% but sometimes he remembers life powder exists#chag does insane damage and is really good at well timed dodges. loves foraging#auris is something of a trap master#and narin is their information specialist. studies monsters. crafts a lot of their items. and in battle she runs max wide range#so shes more support than damage#yknow what yeah auris gets a bow he is not built for close range#chag has super high affinity. reginald has incredible defense and pretty solid attack. auris has good affinity#and good skills for inflicting ailmemts and draining monsters stamina and stuff. and narin is also good at ailments and has ok affinity#you meet them and reginald clearly thinks hes the main character/leader#but when you talk to them the others are like yeah actuall narin is the competent one.#they seem dysfunctional but then they're like yeah actually we just took down a gore magala the other day.
