#the thing is the first bit is so good and has so much potential#but it goes down the drain bc fennel is fucking rich and did Not understand the story she could've told#so what was Almost a story about class disparity and an interesting commentary on wealth#became a boogeyman scary story for the rich about the middle class social climbers#who are jealous of their wealth#and I think she was Trying to say something like she really thought she said something#but being wealthy herself just doesn't fucking Get what people are talking about when they talk about class problems#like!!!! the beats are there!!!!#and with like.... 1 major change and a couple minor changes the story could've been great#I think if a poor or even middle class person had told the story it would've been incredible#instead it wound up SAYING NOTHING GGGG#pisses me the fuck off every time I go on a rant#whatever I just think oliver should've been Actually Poor with a solid motivation that wasn't just jealousy#and the fucking cattons should've Actually been despicable rather than presented as this like#flawed but ultimately quirky charming and sympathetic family getting fucked over#THOSE TWO CHANGES COULD'VE MADE IT MY MOVIE OF THE YEEEEAR#whatever whatever WHATEVERRRR fucking movie#and so I think it did actually wind up being one of my faves?#but if only bc it's so visually stunning and the set up is so there#and then I get to go on an hour long tangent about what should've changed

This 4koma (#11) makes me laugh so hard because while emu and rui ARE good at resolving arguments tsukasa is either the first person to pick a fight or very quick to meet hostility with hostility.
(Main story)
I don’t think I need to say too much about this, beyond the fact that it was 100% his biggest asshole moment. Which he realized and grew from, and in the later instances of him getting Pissed 1) he isn’t cruel about it 2) he’s way more receptive to being told to chill out. Imo any time after this where he gets mad, it’s pretty reasonable.
(Wonder Halloween)
He gets mad when he wakes up and finds out that he got hurt because of Rui’s robots, but cooled off pretty quickly when he saw that Rui was upset (& also he wasn’t that angry to begin with). He gets mad later because he’s upset that Rui is holding back, but also because he’s very mad at himself. He’s learned from the main story though, because he apologizes for yelling and leaves to go calm down out of his own volition.

He gets mad at Sakurako for insulting Nene, their troupe, and the wonder stage (& then insults the stage himself lmao) and immediately jumps to insults. Nene gets involved with this as well because she is also hotheaded when pushed, just less so than Tsukasa.

Definitely the funniest instance because he gets mad and instantly is like we need to CRUSH the Phoenix stage in this competition. & then emu+rui are like chill out and he’s like ok sorry.

Saki is the first one to get mad, but Tsukasa gets angry as well. Very normal sibling argument considering the circumstances so I don’t have much to say.
(SOAD)
Again very funny that he’s like don’t insult our stage. even though it is so run down it would collapse at any moment. How dare you.
He tends to get more aggressive when he’s defending his friends (or mad at himself) so I think his anger is pretty justified (even if picking a fight isn’t the most mature way to handle it) but I think it’s hysterical that tsukasa “first guy to start yelling” “hotheaded” tenma is operating under the assumption that he’s a calm and collected conflict solver. No You Are Not. There are less examples past this point because he has less reasons to get mad (at people that aren’t himself). Idk maybe the next wxs arc will give him a reason to get actually pissed again.

Happy belated birthday, Jacob Cromwell!
In celebration (?), I thought I'd salute one of my personal favorite headcanons about Jacob that I haven't had much of a chance to explore...namely, that Jacob shared a dormroom with the one, the only Gilderoy Lockhart!
Yes, as you can imagine, Jacob hated Lockhart's bloody guts. 😂
Really, though, it wasn't hard for Jacob to hate Lockhart when that "toothy prat" would act like the smartest guy in the room and yet cowardly avoid any challenges or duels that could contradict that overly shiny self-image Lockhart had of himself. Old Gilderoy was also prone to grab more attention from female students than Jacob did, even with his ridiculously puffed-up ego, for his good looks and (marginally) better people skills. Oh yeah -- and then there was Lockhart's attempt to marginalize Jacob, Duncan, and Olivia's hard work dealing with the Cursed Vaults terrorizing Hogwarts by acting like he'd suspected how to break each curse all along and (even more insultingly) insinuating that it was really him who'd instructed the three Cursebreakers in the methods they'd used to break them. Lockhart even brashly reiterated this one infamous Valentine's Day in his and the Trio's fifth year when he received 800 Valentine's cards and presents (which, as it turned out, were all from Lockhart to himself) --
" -- such beautiful gifts and cards! No doubt from fans both across and outside Hogwarts itself! They must've heard of my heroic efforts toward helping break the curses on the Cursed Vaults! Taught Duncan Ashe everything he knows about puzzle solving...and poor Miss Green was clueless in dealing with those boggarts until I showed her the proper method! And those Acromantula, ho ho...I daresay our favorite Cursebreakers would've been helpless in communicating with those beasts, if it weren't for me teaching Jacob some basic phrases..."
Even if his friends successfully held Jacob back physically, they didn't stop him from verbally tearing into Lockhart.
"'TAUGHT ME SOME PHRASES?!' Acromantula are capable of HUMAN SPEECH, you brain-dead numpty!"
Ultimately Lockhart's little stunt came to an end when the Great Hall had to be cleared of students so the teachers could properly deal with the 800 owls and their 800 packages and letters cluttering up the room. Lockhart's interest in stealing credit for dealing with the Cursed Vaults waned for a short time after Olivia's disappearance, Duncan's death, and Jacob's expulsion, but came back in full when Jacob's sister Carewyn likewise had to deal with them. Fortunately Lockhart failed to collect enough information about Carewyn's adventures to take credit for them and was forced to retreat with a very basic Memory Charm as his goodbye before she or her date Andre Egwu could put together his true intentions. And more fortunately still, about six years later, Lockhart got his just desserts when all of the lies he told to score cheap fame and success came to light.
No one was more pleased when the world finally conjured up enough brain cells to see Lockhart for the idiot and fraud he was than Jacob Cromwell. And ironically enough, the world had also finally conjured up enough brain cells to see for who Jacob really was by then -- not a delinquent as so many had presumed for so long, but an eccentric, brilliant wizard with iron-clad loyalty, incredible magical talent, and a heart as brave as Lockhart's is cowardly.

Things that happened in my sims game today that ✨just make sense✨
-My sim went on a date with his stalker
#so i have this one house in which a romance sim lives who can't get laid#god knows why he can't get laid. he's hot and bisexual and he's a line cook. like what more do you want#anyway i finally resorted to using the matchmaker just to try to get him laid and for whatever reason she sent me this woman#who could not be interacted with aside from talking; flirting and influence#which meant i couldn't end their date and it also couldn't really progress? so i was like 'well this sucks'#so i had him get another date#obviously she was PISSED that he rejected her for this hot policeman so she left him a fiery bag of poop on his doorstep and a stinky lette#(he didn't even get to first base with the policeman btw)#except that wasn't the end of it. she kept COMING BACK#she'd just stand for hours upon hours looking at his house. i mean literally she was there ALL DAY#it seemed like she only left when i directed him to go greet her. literally as soon as i put 'greet elle' in his queue she left#eventually i managed to have him actually greet her and there was still only talk; flirt or influence available#(once he greeted her btw she completely made herself at home in his house. she took like two bubble baths?? and i couldn't ask her to leave#she eventually left because she was hungry and i wasn't going to feed this crazy ass woman who had literally been lurking outside his house#for damn near two weeks straight. i was like you can die here if you want to. that's fine#anyway. i decided to have him invite her over for a date to see if that unstuck her because by this point i was weirded out by the limited#interactions. so she agreed to the date but didn't get unstuck#i had to use boolprop testing cheats to make her selectable and then unselectable. THAT finally worked#for some reason casual romance settings (acr) still don't work on her though? so she can't be woohooed because he's not in love with her#i suspect she's a young adult and something's messed up in her coding. or i have a mod conflict. despite my best efforts#i've never seen a sim behave like her before. she was literally just standing unmoving STARING at his house. no idles or anything#i thought she was stuck but she could blink. fucking eerie#tl;dr ts2 remains the game of all time#personal
