This year's Grammys really has some of yall (still) in a tizzy. Like you would think Beyonce killed their mother when all she did was win a big award!

#some of yall are also reaching bc how do you see billie crying over an award and go #“oh my little meow meow she's been hurt” like she isn't a grown ass woman whereas bey will have the same reaction #or just show normal levels of disappointment (bc she's human) and yall talk about she's either being dramatic #denying her work ethic saying she's jealous or that she'll harm someone for her next win #like yall really enjoy policing black women over their emotions don't you! these people think bey is the boogeyman!#“she/her husband paid for the award!” she's nearly a billionaire and u think they'd waste their money on a trophy?#other artist like ts are just as up there financially so does she pay for her awards too? bc it makes no sense #and antiblackness really got yall talking out of your ass by trying to deny bey talent like she hasn't been around since #before you were born like don't play with her just bc you can't take a loss #and imma be honest...to me personally even if bey wasn't a contender i don't think billie was gonna get it regardless #like between sabrina chappell and charli with the theme being for innovation...billie girl im sorry but that's just me personally!#it also be hurting my spirit when other black people be inciting these anti black conversations #some on some “oh she's a billionaire” type shit. okay she's also a black woman and that at the end of the day is what people love to focus #on whether they know it or not: even if she is apart of the wealthy elite that doesn't give people the right to be misogynistic &/or racist #and frankly it makes anything they say less valid 🤷🏾‍♀️#and even if cc wasn't a personal fave to YOU doesn't negate how influential it was. it's like that thing where people are sharing recipes #and someone goes “well I don't like/can't have this” all snooty and trying to diss the cooks work just bc of something didn't go their way #that's how some of yall sound! even more so when you try to deny the pivotal impact & influence it has on/within the black community #“why are u making it about race!?” well aside from that being the point of the album itself a lot of yall disguise your antiblackness and #act like people don't see it but then turn around & get mad when u get called out #there's nothing wrong with “i personally didn't enjoy cc but i can still praise it” or “im sad that billie lost” and such #u can feel sad about your fave not winning!#but where things start taking a turn is when people try to humble/discredit beyonce & the effort she puts into things #bc ain't no way you even just looked at bey and thought “yeah she def just threw something together”#anyways #beyonce #cowboy carter #grammys 2025
