#the oracle hath spoken#back on my bullshit#learning way too much about christian theology while knowing fuckall about actually like. being. christian.#so idk for sure about the sacraments but i know the difference between lutherans pietists baptists mystics and inspireds#i also know that for protestants christ is present in spirit during eucharist#meanwhile for catholics he's physically present and that IS his blood#and for the orthodox the priests do a neat little magic trick of turning wine into blood right there in the front behind that curtain#however how often eucharist is actually celebrated? no clue.
