What's next for Programmed Obsolescence?

I know I've been quiet about it for quite some time - or not, time blindess is a bitch - since I last posted anything about PrOAU.

I'm actually working on a general redesign for the boys, a small rework of the story, and generally, I want to flesh out the plotline better. I want to create a cohesive storyline, put more work into it that I've already got. This might take a while.

So, what's the game plan?

Finish the Reprogrammed comic I'd like to redraw some panels but other than that, it will be posted all in one post, like the first part.

Redesign and Create a reference for the whole cast. I want to play around a bit more with their designs and aesthetics.

Villains Not only our boy, The Inventor, but the cast of Villains in the show will get their own spin on the story.

Finally start the story, from the beginning I am unsure if to still keep it as a comic, write a fic, or make a hybrid story of both comic strips and oneshots. I will meditate that idea.

So, as of now, I won't be answering any asks from PrOAU. Apologies!

I will still work in Alpha Stage in the mean time, I'll be posting some drawings of the roboturtle, Xor, and soon I'll share a little self indulgent fanfic I've posted some time ago. You can find it in my Ao3 but I'll post it here after I've done some promotional art for it.

can I ask what you mean by you don't want to continue PROAU? /np ofc

I don't want to have a lot of negative posts on my blog. The kind of people that always vent in their socials can be exhausting yknow?

So I'll keep it short and simple.

PrOAU was a fun little concept. But I wasn't in the right place of mind while working on it. It was cool while it lasted, I developed my art and style and had fun with the angst. But I don't think I'll ever touch it again.

It's kinda the same with Alpha Stage. It is what got me to where I am in this comunity, and I'm really glad and grateful for it. And I know it's a story a lot of my followers loved. So I do not want to cancel it. But it is hard to put my mind to it.

I want to work on something serious, and I am! But I'll reveal more once I'm sure I have developed it enough.

My brain is in another place at the moment, so I'm taking it slowly. /pos
