found like. a white noise type app i got specifically for rain sounds. and it can play its audio on top of literally any other audio on my phone, so i can have my rain sounds comboed with music or youtube. and you can pick from a pretty big library of sounds that you don't need to pay a stupid premium to get most of them (PLUS there's different types of rain sounds + other sounds?? like there's city rain, forest rain, beach rain) and you can combine as many sounds as you want and save the group to your favourites. and i love it very much

#it's rlly nice bc when i pause whatever I'm listening to and forget to unpause #instead of having the Void Of Silence take over and i just kinda eventually start thinking abt not fun things #there's just a constant rain with a light breeze. and a single frog who speaks up every now and then #and it's just nice #and it keeps our brain from spiraling #like i guess its. we always need to be listening to something to prevent The Horrors from creeping in #and even tho this is barely any sound it's juuuust enough to make us more calmly zone out instead of fake argument spiral
