the real tension in vox machina right now is honestly so visceral and it truly speaks to how good at acting they are bc it’s also obvious the second a session ends how much they like each other as people
like the immediate break in character as everyone slumps and breathes is... i can feel it
even three years later, well after the stream, well after the campaign has ended, it’s so so real
#do i want them to be happy and love each other? yes#but i also like that they all come from a different background (minus the twins and pike/grog)#i love how true to their characters they play!#travis is obviously very smart and has made character choices that line up with grog being a violent-hungry barbarian#taliesin plays percy SO well with his family and the massive chip on his shoulder and the guilt of leaving cassandra#marisha does a great job of playing the peacemaker and constantly tries to keep their morality in check#sam is just so so good at scanlan it blows my mind how he refuses to do something unless scanlan is aware in game#and dont GET me started on how liam and laura actually seem like fucking siblings#these people may be voice actors but they are also just.#great actors#telling an amazing story#god im just so emo over this show#griff vs vox machina#vox machina rambles
