hi if you didnt know im the worlds biggest noelle/susie/ralsei fan so of COURSE i love ralsusie.....

its just. susie is like SO good for ralsei no matter what form their relationships takes, bc susie is the person who is able to like, help ralsei?? with all her prophecy-related trauma?? susie is the person who looks at fate and destiny and anybody who claims you have to be one way and do one thing and says no. thats stupid as shit. im gonna do this other thing. and ralsei sees that and cant NOT fall in love--

tho for sure she doesnt know its a crush at first lol <3 i like to think noelle and ralsei bond partly over their crushes on susie except ralsei 100% doesnt know this is happening until like, three years later when shes started to process how her not-childhood was like, pretty fucked up!!! shes like wait THATS what was going on???

and then for susie, ralsei is like...one of the first people to like susie for susie??? thinking about deltarune chapter 2 here, their friendship hangout...its like, ralsei being this sweet pacifist pushover type LIKING susie, liking her for all her rough edges and bucking against the strings of the world?? yeah!! its really good!!!

so i love them theyre so good so silly one day i will write the dess raises kris au and they will be two thirds of the main ship! <3

Also, now that I have played Deltarune's first two chapters 5.5 times in a single month, here are my current theories / thoughts / predictions, in no particular order.

— There is not just one Knight in play, but rather at least two: Kris, and whoever opened the unused classroom Fountain, since Kris' behavior makes it obvious that that one wasn't on them. Whether it was Kris or the first Knight that opened the library Fountain is unclear (though I lean toward Kris personally), though we do know that Kris opens the living room fountain themself.

— Ralsei is not identical to Asriel, either in looks or personality. As far as looks go, Noelle says that he "looks kind of like . . ." rather than outright saying he looks like Asriel, which would make the most sense for her to say if he was identical. As far as personality goes, Ralsei is a lot more assertive than Undertale!Asriel at least, demonstrated by how Ralsei refused to make Susie a cake until she stopped making fun of him, and how he repeatedly shut down Noelle and Berdly when they wanted to expand the library Fountain. Undertale!Asriel, who agreed with Chara calling him a crybaby for crying when his father almost died and who also acquiesced to the suicide-by-buttercups plan even when he didn't like it, did not have nearly the backbone that Ralsei does. Ralsei is similar to Asriel, but not identical.

— Everyone is down bad for Susie. Noelle and Berdly outright state their crushes, but Susie's Tea is the only one that heals 120 HP for Kris, indicating that they, too, have the strongest positive feelings for her. Ralsei is arguable, but I think by the end of chapter 2 it's easy enough to read him that way, too.

— The bunker is where Kris originally came from. The lack of other humans in Hometown is suspicious, and we know that something happened to Kris there that gives Monster Teen trepidation and makes Snowy call Kris a "weenie." I think Kris was found in front of the bunker, door shut, probably crying badly, and was adopted by the Dreemurr family after that. No one knows why Kris was crying, so they just assume that "something scary" is in the bunker.

— I also think that it is perhaps not a bunker at all, but an entrance to an underground, and that perhaps Deltarune is a world where monsters won that war, rather than humans.

— If a Fountain is opened, then closed, and then later opened again in the same location, the dark world picks up where it left off almost as if no time passed at all. This is an explanation for how a Lightner could have been in the cyber world beforehand (to create the robot that Spamton uses) when there is no way the library Fountain was open for longer than day 2.

— Dess is either the original Knight, and / or she suffered a fate similar to Snowgrave Berdly, where she was incapacitated in a dark world, and thus can't resume life in the normal world as a result. (This goes along with the theory that "Don't Forget" is from Dess' POV.)

— We will have to boss fight Susie at some point on a Snowgrave file, once Susie finds out what we did to Noelle.

— Kris' hesitance toward Ralsei isn't because they dislike him, per se, but rather because, even though he is not identical to Asriel, he still does bear resemblance, and so Kris feels uncomfortable / guilty getting close to Ralsei, in a sort of "this feels like I'm replacing Asriel" kind of way. This has no real evidence in game, but it just makes the most sense to me since I don't see what Ralsei has done wrong otherwise lol.

— Ralsei is lowkey jealous of Noelle. Noelle is the only person that Ralsei doesn't bother to introduce himself to, despite being friendly enough to introduce himself to just about everyone else (e.g. Lancer, Jevil). Particularly since the others were people who quickly left, and Noelle was someone who was sticking around, this stands out! This, coupled with the fact that Noelle Tea only heals him by 50 HP, makes me think he has a quiet beef with her. And I think that beef is that she showed up with Kris, and was also already familiar with Susie, and since Kris and Susie are Ralsei's very first friends, it made him feel jealous enough to choose to ignore her presence in the party altogether, rather than trying to befriend her like he did everyone else.

— Noelle, similarly, might have felt a little jealous over Ralsei spending time alone with Susie, buuut I personally think she was just too enraptured with Susie being right there to think much about him lol.

Aaaaand I think that's it for now. Bring on chapters three and four!

i dont think ive talked about drk frisk that much but just know they are Everything.

Yo those Asriel lines in (you died along the way) ch 2 had no right being that raw. He was so mean, but at the same time, you know he’s going through his own stuff and taking it out on Kris. He clearly loves them, but he never seems to hear them out. And Kris? This poor soul. It’s gotta be so frustrating being seen as the “bad” one and dealing with the feeling of your body being wrong. I love that Susie and Noelle are still there for Kris even after what they did. Can’t wait to see more stuff about Ralsei (inch resting that you’re bringing back the mirror theme here), and Dess. Also!! Chara and Frisk!!! What a pleasant surprise!

Loved the chapter, congrats, you’ve got me screaming at you like you wanted!

>:3 that was my goal with asriel! in the sequel there's gonna be at least ONE chapter in prooobably dess's pov bc like--i mainly focus on the younger kids but god the older kids are going through a lot too, and kris and noelle really dont see that. with kris its on purpose--asriel very much tries NOT to let kris see him like that. doesnt always work, but even with what hes said--asirel was a LOT more affected by dess leaving/dying than he likes people to see.

and yeah :( kris is. going the fuck through it. the thing about kris is they are a very bitey kid, and they very much have the instincts of a cornered coyote--so, lash out, bite, etc. and they've never really gotten help dealing with any of it, because right when they started acting like that was when dess left, and their parents divorced, and they isolated themself....so, yknow. a loss all around.

and YES we'll see more of that in the sequel too but. susie and noelle will still be there for kris. it might be harder, but--they're gonna figure things out.

ralsei <3 one thing i will say: oftentimes susie is the anchor for both ralsei and kris in their various identity problems. but that might not be so true in the sequel anymore, due to what both kris and ralsei have gone through....

YEAH chara and frisk cameo <3 i have a lil au i like thinking about that i affectionately call 'chara is 20 and frisk is 8' aka chara and frisk are siblings, on their own, and now chara is trying to raise frisk while being very very fucked up xirself. in that canon they're both rooming with asriel but chara's a bit older here, 'cause i needed timelines to add up so xe and dess could still meet.
